An excellent structure, excellent value for money, excellent for those who go to the Bologna fair, more inconvenient for those who have to visit the city. Public transport stop near the hotel but with a service that is nothing short of catastrophic, with heavy and repeated delays, then it is difficult to buy a ticket on board if you don't have coins, only a few cards are accepted and, today, a card can only make one ticket . If the inspectors find you without a ticket, they don't want to listen to reason and fine you 75 euros, a shameful service for such a beautiful and rich city.

Hotel Maxim is about 10 minutes to the Bologna airport and about 15 minutes bus journey to city centre.Location very convenient,bus stop number 25 just in front of the hotel Will us direct to train station and city centre.room is small but comfort.Wi-Fi provided and is good connection.Loved the buffet breakfast,delicious and lots of dishes,Price is reasonable too.Will stay again if come to Bologna again

We were at the end of a Tuscany train tour and this was just the relaxation and peace that we needed. Small but adequate cabin with shower room. Good aircon. You have to pay 5 euros to use the pool but it has long opening hours and the sun loungers are comfortable not those horrible plastic ones and umbrellas are included, the pool so clean and a attendant at all times, so all in all I thought this was good value. The restaurant/bar had decent opening times. Food was good, we had a wonderful beef steak that we really were not expecting. Pizza's excellent too, I watched the pizza chef making all the dough, so very home made and fresh. The chips/fries were delicious, not your normal frozen type and all dishes at reasonable prices. Try the wine by the litre, very good quality. We found all the staff to be very helpful and friendly. Have only good things to say about the place and would definitely stay there again.

Hotel location is a bit biased, not on the main road, but the hotel environment is good, the facilities are very new, the room is normal size, breakfast is good, there are bars and restaurants around, cost-effective, if you do not care about the city distance or work around it is recommended.

Bellissima struttura, personale disponibile e cordiale, e soprattutto pronti ad aiutare per ogni tipo di esigenza. Ci siamo trovati benissimo, camere super pulite, strutture moderna e minimal, ogni comfort possibile e immaginabile. Assolutamente consigliato, quando mi troverò da quelle parti tornerò volentieri!

The room is large, the decoration style is very comfortable, the kitchen facilities are all available, very convenient, but the curtains are too light, they are bright early in the morning You must first go to the toy store to find the boss when you check in. There is an additional 15 Euro cleaning fee and 6 Euro city tax, which is a bit dark

After a tiring search to locate a place to stay in Bologna that was convenient and close to the train station, we were lucky to find this gem that was a 10 minute walk to the train and about a 20 minute walk to the center. Alessandro was great in welcoming us after a 10 hour flight from the US and showed us to our spacious and comfortable room. The next morning Alessandro had an array of breakfast items ready for us in the kitchen room next door. This is was perfect stay in a quiet neighborhood away from the boisterous historic center. I would stay here again if I was in Bologna!

It's very close to the airport, so it's convenient to catch a plane the next day. Breakfast is very average, only cereals can be soaked in milk to satisfy hunger. Room space is good, soundproofing is not good, sneezing next door can be heard.

I visited with my family for 1 night as a night stop. On arrival the area does not look particularly attractive & the outside of the hotel looks a little tired. But once inside the hotel is lovely & the staff very friendly & helpful. The rooms are large with air conditioning & very clean with lovely shabby shic furniture. There is a car park at the back of the hotel but it is a little small although we were able to park our cars in there. Breakfast was what you would expect of a continental. There is a very good Italian restaurant next door to the hotel which we used for dinner.

A good hotel, clean, with very friendly staff who are fluent in English (and some Spanish). The rooms are clean, cozy, with safe. It offers restaurant service, which is ideal given its location, somewhat distant from the tourist zone. The B&B is not as described, we were taken in to the flat which has cctv in the communal areas and given a set of keys. The man who met us at the gate spoke no English so we did not understand him and as he left quite quickly he did not give us much information. The property did not feel particularly secure as we heard what sounded like someone trying to open doors in the flat multiple times. The “air conditioning” in the twin room is actually a medium sized fan perched on a chair. When looking in the mini fridge in the room there was an open and use bottle of water. The buffet breakfast was some stale package pastries left on the table with some dirty cups. We left after 2 nights and chose to stay somewhere else as we did not feel secure or comfortable there. I’m addition to our twin room there were 3 locked rooms and we were unsure if we were sharing with other people or not, and we were not comfortable leaving our valuables there as the front door did not lock properly. I would not recommend staying there.
