Handicapped room had a nice wet room for shower. No ledge at all. But no place to set soap or shampoo. Nice handheld showerhead. Desk chair was good height for sitting and then getting back up. But desk chair had to be moved so walker could get by foot of bed to get to bathroom. Room size with king bed limits options for desk and chair. Very happy with room. Comments not meant as criticism but items for improvement.

the location was great that was the only good thing picked up travel coupon book at rest stop. the price was good and we stayed at some very good days inn but this was a total disappointment. the coupon said nice hot breakfast well it was cold cereal and either white or wheat toast and waffles so much for good hot breakfast so we went to McDonald and had breakfast second i like to read newspaper in morning and the coupon said free newspaper well guess what another fib. went to room now you think this hotel would know on average how many rooms the rent out a night and have ac on, well it has been in 90s and when we enter room it was like a sauna took 3 hrs to cool down. i guess you get what you pay for.

Very friendly and the beds were super comfy . The lobby and breakfast area was really nice with fireplace . I love the Best Western in Russellville Alabama. The staff are wonderful they make you feel like family . The staff at this motel go beyond their duties to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I will drive an extra 30 or an hour to stay there because of the staff

Stayed here while playing golf at Cambrian Ridge. I will make my review short and to the point. I had a internet reservation, the process on Comfort Inns website was fast. I had an electronic reservation that I did not have to use. My check-in, check-out was flawless. The price I was quoted was off by 2 cent. The hotel and my room were clean, comfortable, and quiet. The free breakfast was good. There is dedicated hotel staff that keeps the breakfast area stocked and clean. All the hotel staff that I came into contact with spoke and were polite. On a side note, the parking lot is brightly lit at night, to the point that you can read from a printed page. Someone mentioned that the parking lot lights kept the up at night while inside their room. My room had double curtains, with both drawn, almost no parking lot light got in. In fact, even when the sun came up the next day, very little light got into the room.

Hampton seems to be reviving their brand. I will be writing about 3 locations I am visiting this week. They all have had a complete decor renovation. Of course the staff is very attentive and nice. The rooms are subtle in appearance and would be considered like your own bedroom, a place to relax and unwind. It is practical with refrigerator, microwave, large mirrors and good lighting. The bathroom is PRACTICAL and they use their space well. There is plenty of room to have 2 people’s “stuff” on the counter or under the counter with the addition of a shelf. The room was quiet.

From the time we checked in until the time we checked out 4 days later, we had a perfect stay. We were greeted by Alexis T. when we first arrived at 9:00 a.m. and even though our rooms weren't available that early, she provided PERFECT customer service. She offered to hold our luggage for us so we could begin to explore downtown.....she did it with a smile and could not have been more welcoming. She also told us that breakfast was still being served and if we would like to partake to please do so. She set the bar very high and is a perfect "face"for the hotel! Our rooms were very clean at check in but we did not ask for our rooms to be cleaned after that. We only asked for clean towels and the housekeeping staff were gracious in giving us the amount we requested. We enjoyed the evening reception (provided 7 nights a week/4:00-7:00 p.m.)held in the lobby one evening. That night they had complimentary chicken wings, chips with artichoke dip and cubed cheese......all hot and very tasty! There was also an acoustic guitar player in the lobby providing very nice music (low volume). The morning breakfast was very well presented as well.....one morning they ran out of bacon - no big deal! This hotel is located a 10 minute walk from all the action on Broadway. Super location! I would 100% stay and recommend this hotel to anyone in need of a hotel while visiting downtown Nashville!

My wife and I were celebrating her birthday last week, and Nashville was where she wanted to go (I certainly didn't mind though). We checked in on Wednesday March 4 for three nights. My first thought of the lobby area was it reminded me of the Contemporary Hotel in Disney World minus the monorail running through it. Our early check-in went smoothly as our room was already available, and it was one facing the park, as we requested. Regarding the room itself, it was overall clean and spacious. Next door at Bridgestone Arena, there was a concert the first evening, a hockey game the next evening, and another concert the last evening. We did hear their noise, but glad we didn't also hear all the music from the other side (rooms facing Broadway). Our check-out experience went well too with no discrepancies in our final bill. For breakfasts, we enjoyed the buffet in the lobby. It was nothing spectacular, but still had all the usual breakfast foods. Our only issue came with the coffee shop where on Thursday March 5, it didn't open until after 7am. It was an issue as we are early risers and were specifically told they opened 6am weekdays. Regardless, I would certainly consider staying here again the next time we're in town.

We spent two nights a week ago traveling for fun as a couple. It was a fantastic experience from our initial contact (the hotel actually called to see if we needed anything for a smooth trip or arrival about a week before we got there, which was a nice touch), to the check in with Elliot who was very helpful and friendly, and then all the way through our stay to our check out. Ellington's has a terrific happy hour and outdoor deck - Wonderful cocktails and appetizers (go for the pimento cheese to wash down with a nice dry martini!). The room is absolutely fantastic. We stayed in a Cherry Suite which is a big larger and has everything you will need. The beds and pillows are very comfortable, and the bathroom large. Morning coffee is excellent in the lobby. The location is terrific - right next to Painter's Alley and a few blocks from Broadway and other sites. The developer and designer did a great job of making a new hotel feel truly vintage. Valet parking is a great way to go. We even had to leave around 5:30 am for the airport, so we called the night before to make sure we could access our car, and they had it pulled up waiting for us. Overall, you can't go wrong staying here. We will make The Fairlane our Nashville hotel for sure!

My husband and I stayed here for our tenth anniversary, and it was definitely memorable! We had to change rooms twice, once because the AC didn't work, and once because the ceiling was leaking. However, the beds were super comfortable, and the atrium, pool, and fitness rooms were great. The restaurant has very good food and great atmosphere. Everyone, especially the lady that worked the front desk in the mornings, was very nice, and we got moved quickly and easily both times. I would recommend staying here to anyone, though it seems the hotel could really use some updating. We would stay here again.

The hotel is wonderful and the staff was exceptional. Emily at the lobby bar, Phyllis and Barbara in the cafe to name a few. Faults: no concierge on staff to help Nashville newbies on local dining venues or sights. Front desk staff very kind but called upon to fill this position and not really good at it. Also when checking in the front desk staff were constantly being interrupted to answer the phone which was a bit rude. Last but not least the valet parking situation! We waited almost one hour for our car Sunday morning to be delivered. This can only be attributed to poor planning on the part of management. We were told our car would be available in fifteen minutes so we proceeded down and joined at least another fifty to seventy five families waiting. It had to be known how many would be checking out that morning and should have been planned for. Not Marriott standards.

First the good- we loved the location and would stay here again because of that. Plus, We actually liked the minimalist rooms. They felt very clean. We had read reviews so we booked a larger room with windows. Now the not so good- very unhelpful desk staff. We requested housekeeping but it didn't happen. Next, they checked us out a day early. When I stopped to ask about it, I was met with argument and insistence that our reservation ended now. I showed my emailed confirmation and then it was, Oh, Ok, I'll check you back in. Of course, when I got my final receipt, they charged me the now higher price than what I booked in January, for that last night. I emailed (no response) and called but it was again just argument, and my mistake somehow. Finally, the AC quit working that day. We reported it but the whole day passed without anyone taking action. When we checked back in the afternoon. They said, they couldn't work on it because we had our stuff in the room. They had not given us another room or said that was a problem in the morning but now just kept saying , they couldn't fix it because of us. Just to stop that argument I finally said, "OK, what now?" They then offered us another room for our last night. I don't expect any response to any of this. I see their canned response to every negative review. It's just a full disclosure to those choosing. We'd stay here again for the location and we were comfortable until the AC situation. If service and hospitality is important though, stay somewhere else.

I flew to Nashville to pick up my daughter from Belmont University at the end of the semester and decided to stay at the Graduate for one night. What a delightful hotel! I was in Nashville for a business convention and stayed at the Hyatt Place Nashville Downtown due to its proximity to the convention center. The staff was very kind and welcoming. The hotel was clean and rooms are nice size. we had an issue with the hair dryer and GFI outlet in the bathroom and the hotel fixed both issues in 5 minutes. Great Customer experience. The breakfast buffet in the morning is nice, but NO restaurant in the hotel. Fortunately the hotel is surrounded by restaurants. Parking is $40 per night FYI. The only problem with our room was the view was covered by an A/C unit.

My first time staying at an Aloft hotel, but not my last. This property was quirkier than the typical Marriott properties I stay at, but happened to be the least expensive at the time of booking so I gave it a try. I was there for 3 nights with my son (17) visiting Vanderbilt University. The hotel had a very urban feel to it, the room was very spacious, including a sitting area. The bathroom was also spacious, however I didn't like the door-less shower. While it looked interesting, practically speaking you end up getting water all over the floor. The beds, pillows and bedding were comfortable and there were two TV's in the room allowing us to watch different channels. Amenities included a small gym, pool table in the lobby, lobby bar, and a place for a small band to perform (however no one performed during our stay), and a refreshment area. I was least impressed with the refreshment area. While there was coffee available, no breakfast was laid out each morning. We found out later (after complaining about the lack of breakfast) that you had to order your food from the bar and they would make it for you. Since I don't go to the bar that early in the day I never knew, equally my underage son would have never walked up to the bar to order something. In my opinion, this is awful planning on their part. But, aside from the food issue this was a great hotel at a good price.
