The breakfast here is quite satisfactory. The hotel has strong Chinese elements. There is a Chinese seafood restaurant in the lobby on the first floor (important because Burmese food is really bad). The hotel is next to the zoo. It is fun to hear lion and tiger howling every morning. The swimming pool in the hotel is relatively high, but the bathroom in the room where I stayed didn't drain well, and it was not repaired after three days.

Highly recommended. 1 / Excellent price, more than 200 yuan. 2 / The hotel is in a good location. Walk north for 12.3 minutes to Royal Lake Park. The Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon is north of the hotel and a taxi 2,000 kyats from the hotel. A 12.3 minute walk south is the train station. The bus to Wisang is on the train station square. It is convenient and cheap to take the train to Daikin (Jaito). 6/7 minutes walk to Sureta. The center of the square. (Colonial buildings). From there, take a taxi back to the hotel for 2500-3000 kyat. 3 / The hotel is hygienic and clean, and the quilt is soft and comfortable. I stayed three times for 4 nights. 4 / Turn right at the hotel and the street is a barbecue stall. On the left side of the exit, there are restaurants and supermarkets on the facade. 5 / I arrived at the hotel before dawn, and the hotel checked me in. Very humane and awesome. 6 / The service staff and manager are enthusiastic. Help me book a car and order food. The manager still speaks Chinese, and can talk about anything on WeChat.

This was my 6th visit to Yangon, but my first stay at the Golden Butterfly. The hotel was chosen for its close proximity to the Shwedegon, our only reason for this visit. The hotel is ageing, aren't we all, but it still maintains some of its old grandeur with its beautiful entrance displaying timber craftsmanship of days gone by. The reception was managed professionally in a friendly welcoming manner. The room allocated was airy and clean, with a very large bed, TV and room safe. The bathroom was of normal size, clean and well maintained however the old style shower bath configuration may be difficult for the aged or those with hip and back problems as the bath stands approximately 50 cm high. We were only at the hotel for three days/two nights and as stated earlier our sole purpose this visit was to see the Shwedegon. During OUR stay the staff were friendly and helpful, arranged taxis for us and provided us with guidance as to shopping. The restaurant staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, providing me with a large mug for my breakfast tea rather than the usual 'thimble' size cups. The pool area was clean and a nice place to finish one's evening with a cold beer and a glass of wine. Overall this is a low to medium priced hotel ideally situated for a visit to the Shwedegon. Recommended though older or infirm guests should check out the bathroom configuration before booking.

Service 5 stars, very intimate, great, breakfast is rich, it is rare that I went to 10 o'clock, it is the end time, not only delays to take me meals, but also actively helped me to sandwich the fruit snacks before I withdraw the meal. Also help to call a taxi, bargaining, I took a taxi from the airport in the past 23,000 kyats were slaughtered, from the hotel security guards only 8,000 kyats, the hotel room is large, the mattress is also comfortable, although not newly renovated, but also very Clean, most satisfied with the service, very warm

Although we feel a bit of a year in the facilities, there is a hotel man's smile and refined customer service that can make up for it enough, so it is a hotel that can be recommended to everyone who is fully satisfied. I forgot my umbrella, so when I went out to buy nearby, Bellboy gave me an umbrella quickly, so it was true to say that it was natural, but it was a good thing with a nifty response. This is a first-rate hotel that is well valued for its value and good value for money.

Breakfast is good. Although there are not many varieties, his family's fried noodles and soup noodles are delicious, and rice porridge for breakfast. The hotel location is very good, about 10 minutes walk from the Shwedagon Pagoda, especially when walking past the scenery at dusk. The top of the hotel can overlook the Shwedagon Pagoda, especially at night, which is very beautiful. In particular, the little brother in the lobby has super good service and is very polite. I saw you coming and smiled to help you press the elevator. We only leave at night, go out and store our luggage at the hotel in the morning, and come back at 4 pm to prepare to go to JJ BUS ST. Because of the fear of traffic jam, I want to leave at 4 pm (car at 8 pm), brother in the lobby, let us wash first Wash your face, and then let us rest in the lobby and say that the station is very remote and there is nothing. It is not necessary to go so early. You can rest in the lobby until six o'clock and leave without delay. It's great to go out with such warm service. In addition, there is a small restaurant for Burmese meals not far from this hotel. It is recommended on TRIPDVISOR (Rangoon ranks 16th). The taste is really good and the price is relatively cheap (for two people, the average meal is $ 10).

It looks like the owners are just waiting for it to be sold, no new investments are done - things are probably only repaired when absolutely necessary. It's a pity, for the location and it's potential. There are serious plus sides: internet is fast (3MB/s) rooms are spacious and it's 15 minutes walk from Shwedagon. Rooms and bathrooms are clean, but it all oozes a little sadness.

The environment is very general, the road is very noisy, the location is relatively remote, and the slums border, but it does not matter, the folk customs are simple and safe, the hotel health is good, the room is large, drinking water, coffee, cigarettes, sets, etc. are all equipped. This scared me. The customer service is very warm and thoughtful.

In a small alley, found by navigation, the room is clean, the service is particularly good, the staff are very enthusiastic, smiling service. After checking out, pushing the suitcase and walking the alley to the road, the hotel staff was very enthusiastic to help me put the box on the road. I refused. This is the best service hotel I have encountered. The downside is that the window has no screens, the shower head is placed unreasonably, and the water is easily spilled outside the bathtub.

The child is not yet 13 years old, it should belong to the category of 12 years old and under. You can go to the front desk behind the store to charge an additional $ 20. The room is small, and it is cramped after the extra bed. Fortunately, I only booked one night, and moved to Hotel99 a few hundred meters away the next day. Obviously, the room was large and cheap, because I had to stay a few days and talk about a discount. However, it cannot be denied that its breakfast is the richest since Myanmar, and the room on the 10th floor is relatively quiet, but the attitude of the front desk is too poor to communicate at all

This hotel is not flashy or glamorous. Instead it’s a very comfortable and convenient home away from home. The reason for my enthusiasm is the impeccable care and attention given by two generations of owners who really go out of their way to make guests’ lives as easy as possible. An extension of that care are the features of the super clean rooms - very comfortable beds with fresh crisp linens every day. Excellent WiFi throughout, an unusual range of complimentary beverages, restocked daily, and appliances that always work. Beside the friendly and helpful staff, there has never been a time when at least one of the owners was not on site and ready to help with any additional needs or questions. Even though I’m not a breakfast person, the excellent breakfast, freshly made to order also deserves special mention. I highly recommend Golden Guest Inn and will definitely book it for our next stay in Yangon.

Breakfast is very Chinese, there is noodles, porridge is not good, you can eat very well, everything is retro, nothing discomfort is good. If you pack a car like me, all the sights are not far away. You can take off all the pagodas in one afternoon. Prepare a wet tissue room. Mosquitoes will stay in the middle of the night. If you don’t stay up late, you won’t feel the light is very dark. The waiter is very warm. English is very good.

The hotel is located in a well-known wealthy area. The surrounding area is safe and quiet. There is a restaurant called Cafe Caesar within a few minutes’ walk. The environment is elegant and the food quality is high. It should be a place frequently visited by embassies of various countries nearby. There are also IPA and Pizza, I ordered a piece of pizza, and gave me appetizers and desserts. The price was only more than 10,000 kyats. No matter the food or the service, it was too good value. There is a market plaza for shopping around 15 minutes' walk from the hotel, and it is not far from Jinta and other places.

First time visit to Myanmar and fell in love with the city and its people. My flight came in late after midnight and was met by Lwin Moe a super friendly staff spoke perfect English at the reception who waited for my arrival. Everyone made me feel welcome not just at the hostel but the people in the city with their smiles. I was very impressed with how clean and quiet Rangoon Boutique House is. The double bed was VERY comfortable, AC was nice and cold, towel is clean and of high quality. Breakfast served every morning from 7AM-9AM, it was more than enough for me, a continental breakfast with warm coffee and a fruit. Shared bathrooms and hot shower was clean and always available as it was spacious with good amount of privacy. A personal locker was provided as well. WiFi has great connection. The hostel is in the quiet area in the city. 24 hour convenience store, currency exchange, cafes, shopping malls, restaurants and great spas/massages a few steps away from the hostel. Check out was easy, I was able to leave my bags for a few hours at the hostel since my flight was later in the evening. Before I left, Lwin Moe was there to bid me farewell and told him how much I enjoyed his city and of course Rangoon Boutique House for making my stay a comfortable one. I’m very happy I made that right choices and will definitely come back again for my Part 2 visit to Myanmar! Thank you to all the RBH staff once again esp Lwin Moe for being friendly and attentive and making my first impression of Myanmar a pleasant one. Can’t wait to be back again soon!

We spent 3 night at Hotel Kamarkyi. It was a lovely stay. They were waiting for us with a welcoming drink. The room was big, comfortable and brighty. We stayed for 3 nights in February in a duplex room. The room had a bathroom and lounge area downstairs and then a very big comfortable bed on a mezzanine above. It also had a terrace area with sunbeds and a wide and comprehensive range of toiletries. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast delicious. It was served to you rather than a buffet style and there were lots of choices such as fruit, basket of bread and pastries, cereal, pancakes and eggs. The hotel also has a little garden which you can sit out in away from the hustle and bustle of the street. The location couldn't have been better. It was a 2 minute walk to Bogyoke (Scots) market. 5 minutes to a Western style shopping mall which is opposite Bogyoke market (if you need a bit of a break from Myanmar style shops). It's 5 minutes walk to the nearest Circle Line station; 15 minutes walk to the Shwedagon pagoda; 20 minutes walk to China town; 20 minutes walk to the Sule pagoda and colonial. district. You can also walk less than 10 minutes to Yangon Yangon, a 21st floor bar with great views over the whole city. It has very nice and reasonably priced cocktails too.

The breakfast buffet was ok, the restaurant was small, and the food was pretty good, with churros and soup noodles. The room was small and the bed was small. But desks, wardrobes, refrigerators and safes are all available, and bathroom space will be available. The hotel is not far from Sureta, walking distance. The hotel is not far from the Irrawaddy River, about 1 km. It is beautiful to watch the sunset on the riverfront, and there is a large fruit market, and the fruit is cheap. The hotel is not far from the largest Junction shopping center in Yangon, about 800 meters. There is a bread new language on the first floor, there are many restaurants on the fifth floor, as well as spicy fragrant pot, Sichuan cuisine change, KFC. The airport bus has direct access to the Junction Shopping Centre. You can also take the airport bus to the airport from the overpass near Surrey Square. Around the hotel is a vegetable market in the morning and a night market in the evening. Chinatown is right next door. Oh, there are many Chinese restaurants.

Okay I don't usually send reviews but, Gemsy is one of the best value places to stay in Yangon and totally underrated - 23 year YGN vet here. Under 2 year old hotel so the photos are 100% accurate. Stayed here for 7 weeks in May/June 2020 in different rooms including their main royal gemsy, all top notch, even gave me a tour of other options which are all as pic showed. Location not downtown (so maybe not perfect for some), but supermarket a 1min walk away, street food and many restaurants under 3min walk, also on main bus route if wanting to travel as a local further, ofc taxi easy via grab. On staff can only say great, GM Ma Irene perfect, Ma Phyu at reception awesome, other staff also all wearing masks so mmmm names missing but all great and chatty. Simply no negative issues, wish they opened buffet brekkie, but understand during covid, though they will deliver to your room free. Can say much more, but a perfect spot to stay in YGN for sure.

The reserved room is for business trips. The room conditions are air-conditioned with hot water, balcony, two-story building, and the occupancy conditions are not compared with the domestic ones. Because there are still gaps in the two countries, one yard is three hotels and there is a swimming pool. This is not bad, the hotel park environment is very clean, three kilometers from the airport taxi, if you want to go shopping around, go right, go straight 120 meters there is a street, have been walking a lot of local vendors, fruit is very cheap, I buy 5.6 yuan Six large mangoes, pineapple 3 dollars a very cheap durian 15 dollars a big small 15 yuan two, the street sanitation conditions are not so good, love clean, do not go, follow this road and go right There are also supermarkets in the street. The first time I went to download a Baidu map, because only the Baidu map can be used for domestic navigation. In the hotel search supermarket, the first ABC supermarket along the navigation, you can experience the living conditions in Myanmar, I am Walking 2.2 kilometers, after crossing the train road, there is a jade shop 50 meters to the left. The price is very cheap, but don't buy more, because you can't take it, you can't open the formal invoice, I bought the amber 186. The money is also played casually. I often go there for business trips, so I feel familiar around, I hope to help my friends for the first time.

We booked this hotel using Agoda, and the price was reasonable. The property allowed us to have both a very early check-in as well as a late check out, which was helpful. They have breakfast included in their rooftop area, which was quite nice. That same area is open in the evening as a restaurant and bar. The rooms were a little more marginal, although the beds were comfortable. I am not a fan of wet shower/bathroom rooms, which this facility has, and as a person with balance issues found myself very concerned about a possible fall in the very slippery shower area. The room itself could’ve used upgrading of paint, holes in the wall, better deep cleaning, curtain treatments and other cosmetic issues. The staff was amazingly helpful, and since I was only using the room as a place to sleep, it was acceptable. Wi-Fi speed was quite slow, and sometimes intermittent. As in many areas in Yangon, power failures can happen at any point in time.
