Silom/Sathon
Bangkok
|0.11km from TAPAS CAFE by Spanish on 4
Before the reservation, I received so many praises, and it was not too cheap for nearly 400 yuan a night, so I booked a three-night twin room. After the check-in, the room on the second floor is given. The room is small, the ceiling is at your fingertips, and there are several intersecting beams that are quite depressed. The only window in the room was a stinking small ditch and toilet paper that was dropped upstairs. The only place to dry clothes, there are only three hangers, and drying a pair of underwear is not enough. The bathroom emits a strange smell, the glass window of the bathroom and the room is not well blocked, and the person who can bathe in the bathroom can be seen outside the room. The air conditioner remote control is bad. The air conditioner control panel that has been poked can only be switched, and the temperature cannot be adjusted. The air outlet is facing the bed, and the cold air cannot blow to sleep. The water that is provided for drinking is the direct drinking water that the hotel itself fills. I don't know if it is not clean. The store is not willing to provide such cheap bottled water. It feels awkward. My friends and I forced myself to stay here for one night. I felt more sensitive when I was sleeping on the bed. I ate a loratadine and went to sleep after an hour. I slept very late the next day, because I didn't dare to expect breakfast at the hotel, just don't eat it. Since the room can't be changed, it can't be retired. I can't live. So I re-booked a nearby hotel with similar prices but dozens of times. On the third day, I came back late at night and went into the room to take the rest of the salute. I found that the towel used on the first day was not changed, the bed was not finished, the bottled water was not loaded, and the garbage bin was filled with the first day of garbage. In general, this hotel is not as good as the seven-day level in China, which seriously affects our mood to go to Thailand. It seems that in the future, the reservation cannot be too much to believe in the comment, nor can it be measured by the high price and high quality.

I booked a room in this hotel online at short notice and on arrival I was pleasantly greeted at reception and quickly and efficiently checked in. The Thai receptionist was having problems with the credit card machine being slow and was making jokes about it sleeping in as it was Sunday morning. My room was small, very clean but had almost everything I wanted, there was no room safe, but safes were available at reception. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning unit worked well. The bathroom was tiny but everything worked as it should have with a good shower with plenty of hot water. The room was supplied with soap, shampoo & conditioner, very clean and fragrant smelling towels. There was a small mini bar which was stocked with a few items and a complimentary sealed bottle of drinking water. I was able to book and pay for a taxi at reception which worked out far cheaper than using the locally available meter taxis with the added advantage that the English speaking receptionist told the driver exactly where I was going to eliminating language problems. The receptionist on checkout, spoke excellent English and used own mobile phone to confirm my next hotel booking for me without charge and the taxi she had booked for me arrived early. I didn’t eat in the hotel this time but I will be staying here again in the future.

Overall, this place is really very good. The location was perfect for us. Only a short walk to Silom Road massage and reasonably priced laundry service. The hotel is only a short taxi ride to shopping centres. The hotel itself is very well maintained. The room was comfortable, and everything worked as it should. Our room was big enough, beds were good, and the room has quality wooden furniture. I think the staff could have been friendlier, but mostly did their job. Check in and check out was smooth. Breakfast was included, but there was only one choice, which was disappointing, but I understand if the hotel wasn't busy because covid restrictions have only just started to relax recently. One big problem at the moment is actually finding the place if you haven't been there before. This was our first time. The signage for the hotel is not clear. It was even harder to find because next door there is large building construction works going on. Noise wasn't a problem, but this meant the hotel is hidden behind two-storey high temporary walls surrounding the building site. As we arrived for check in it was pouring with rain and someone had illegally parked in front of the driveway leading to the hotel entrance. We had to drag our heavy luggage in the rain about 50 metres. Very unpleasant. The day before we checked out, I asked the hotel staff to arrange a taxi to take us to the airport. They said 2 options: $500 upfront or meter taxi. My partner demanded meter taxi because of past bad experiences. I didn't mind either way. On the day of checkout there was different staff and the concierge got a taxi from the street for us. The taxi driver put our luggage in the car, we hopped in and started heading to the airport. I then noticed the meter wasn't on. My partner demanded he put the meter on which then led to a very unpleasant experience. The driver refused to put on the meter. My partner said, ”Take us back to the hotel, we'll get another taxi.” We should have allowed more time for this, but we were pushed for time and so I negotiated with the driver. The entire drive from hotel to airport the driver was aggressive and tried to bully more money out of us. I had assumed the concierge had got a meter taxi. He hadn't. So that's really poor communication from the hotel which gave us a lot of stress. Lesson learned. In future, for airport trips in Bangkok I will pay a lot of money for a professional and trustworthy driver.

The room facilities are old and blue, the wallpaper is peeled off, and the bathtub has black stains. . It is good to ask for a room with a window, but the gay club opposite is very crowded until midnight and the sound is amazing. The only salvation was that the staff were kind. The skinhead at the front desk will tell you anything when you ask color 々 (of course in English). There is no revisit. (the direction of the photograph is like the specification of the site, so it is not my fault, so it is only bad)

We stayed here for two nights on a layover between flights from the UK to Australia. I booked this because it was cheap (and I am cheap), and because it offered a very cheap ”family suite” option of two interconnecting rooms. I was travelling with my 11-year-old daughter and this seemed like a good option for us both getting an undisturbed sleep. I'm an Accor member, and have stayed in Ibis Styles hotels in several places around the world. They're generally OK. This place was way above normal Ibis Styles standards. This hotel is very new: it had been open for a couple of months when we stayed. The location is good. It's very close to Sala Daeng BTS and not far from Silom MTR. It's on a major road. However, it is down its own little alleyway, so it is isolated from traffic noise. It's a private, dedicated alleyway, with a good smooth surface and good lighting, not a scary dark alleyway. The lobby is light and airy and really nicely decorated, with floor cushions on a stairway which is a nice place to sit around. Check-in was great. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, and gave me all the information I needed. She even showed us to our room, which was on the ground floor. She apologised for it being on the ground floor, but really this was fine. The rooms were lovely. There was a door which closed us off from the rest of the corridor, meaning that we had a section of corridor to ourselves and could leave our doors open if we wanted to. The rooms were brightly coloured and extremely clean. The shower areas were huge. The beds were incredibly comfortable, with nice soft duvets. My one caveat is that these rooms were great for us, because there was one person in each room. It might be less good if there were two of you in a room. The showers are glass, and look directly onto the bed. There's a blind, and the door is partially frosted, but if you were lying in bed, even with the shower blind down, you could see the head and feet of the person in the shower. Also, the sink is in the room, rather than in a separate bathroom, so there's no privacy when you're brushing your teeth or shaving or whatever. Again, great for one person: you can watch TV while brushing your teeth or showering, but maybe not great for two people. The TV had very limited channels - for English I think there was only al-Jazeera, ChannelNewsAsia and RT. But it had YouTube built in, so you could find yourself something good to watch. The TV was a decent size - maybe 40”. WiFi was very fast and free. The breakfast buffet was small, but really good. The food was lovely. The pool area is great. It's on the roof, and it's shaded in the afternoon by surrounding buildings. From one end of the pool there is a good view across the city, even though it's only on the 9th floor. The bar by the pool did some lovely mocktails too. This hotel was unbelievably cheap - less than US$40 per night for one room - but it did not feel like

Great city location in the middle of everything and close to the Metro lines. Ping pong shows and the LGBT+ road are a short walk away with a load of bars and restaurants within walking distance too. The room was spacious and quite well equipped with tea and coffee, shower gel, hair dryer, water bottles, safe etc alongside a comfy bed and pillows which I wasn’t expecting for such good value. The only drawback is that there isn’t a proper window in the room, just a couple of stained glass blocks to let a little bit of natural light in. AC worked perfectly and the shower pressure was good. Would stay again for a budget city base

Sawatdee krub thouk khon, Surawong Hotel 56 was really awesome: The stuff (reception and housekeeping) was very nice and helpfull, the room had a very good furniture and beds were so nice that we would liked to bring the pillows back home :) Everything was very clean and functional. Noise insulation was ok (7th floor to the street side) but for sure in a city like Bangkok there is always some noise. We stayed 2 weeks (with 4 extentable reservations but we did not travel around) and for sure we will be back there in April. The only negative thing was the SafetyBox: It was just put on the floor without any fixing, so anyone could carry it away, and batteries were empty. In the end we did not need it really so not a big deal. So I suggest to find a way to install it under the TV Table or elsewhere. Little hint: Since Covid, the paiment in the city by foreign Credit Cards is much easier, especially with a card like Revolut or others. Just check eventual fees that your bank will charge you. Great stay in Surawong, thank you again to Surawong 56 and P'Ran. Sawatdee krub. P'Marco & N'Title

We stayed at the hotel during the Christmas holidays in family, we took a room with a private bathroom for three people, the hotel is in line with the photos, the atmosphere is very sympathetic and the charming staff. The area is very animated, there is a night box at the rdc of the building, for our part we have never heard noise from this box, it closes early to 2 pm of the morning. In contrast there is a air metro that walks just next to the rooms, for sensitive ears can be foreseen the cheese balls !!! The hotel is located in the heart of the city centre, and the hotel is located in the heart of the city centre. If I were brought back to Bangkok, I'd return to this facility.

Excellent -Islamic- hotel at a 20 minutes distance from Suvarnabhumi Airport and at 5 minutes walk from Hua Mak railway station. Very quiet airconditioning in the room, no ( working) airco in the corridors. Decent breakfast. The hotel consists of two towers. Only one elevator per tower is not handy, with 9 floors. Marvelous swimming pool at the 9th floor of tower 1 with view over Bangkok. Would definitely stay here again.

There is a parking lot, there are convenience stores nearby, and there is an old food market. We use Grab taxi software to go out, about 200 from the hotel to the Siam business district. The overall environment is OK. The room has a small balcony, which is a floor-to-ceiling window. Household noise is not very good, such as the high quality of sleep requirements need to be cautious, the overall cost is relatively high.

I am not expecting super clean nor super complete rooms in Pratunam area considering this area is very crowded with stores and market activities. This hotel has provide exactly everything we need for the area. Clean bed and bathroom, sufficient towels, free flow mineral water and very reliable fast WiFi access. This could be the most suitable hotel to choose in this area. We saw there are a lot more more 'fancy and luxurious' hotel nearby, however most of them located above very busy and noisy market with knock down stall which may cause unnecessary noisy for your sleep. This area is almost open 24 hours. Cloud 9 just the right choice which located on a quiet corner. This hotel could be hard to find even if you use online map. Try to look for Benz hotel. This cloud 9 is next to it. we will definitely choose this hotel again when we had a chance to visit the area. We do not hesitate to recommend this place to our colleagues and families.

Name: In fact, this hotel is the former Kingston Hotel. Because it is too old, it was separated and given a new name. It is alone in an old building. The front desk is across the street. It is not easy to find. If you want to take a taxi, remember to search Kingston hotel to get there. front desk. Facilities: Furniture: The furniture is very old and looks like it was from the 2000s. The bathtub is very old and peeling, and there are traces of skin repair. But the bathtub refrigerator can be used normally. The air conditioner can also be used normally. The central air conditioner is switched on and off independently in the bedroom and living room. It is very loud and probably too old, but the effect is fine. The room key card is a very old magnetic *****e card. If it is placed with a mobile phone or other cards, it will be demagnetized and cannot be used. It will not be opened when you always come back after going out. I only found out the reason after asking the security guard. Please note. Hygiene: Clean, nothing to say. However, the carpet is too old and has some black stains that cannot be removed. Overall, it is not a big problem. The bathtub is old but not dirty. Environment: The room is large and the suite is indeed a suite. There are also dressing tables, full-length mirrors, and everything in the kitchen. The surrounding transportation is very convenient, and it is a five-minute walk from the Asok Skytrain Station. There are 6 floors in total and it is surrounded by hotels. It will not be noisy at night. The rooms are relatively large and soundproofing is always possible. Service: When cleaning, you need to tell him what to change, otherwise slippers, bath towels, etc. will not be changed by default, but cleaning, making the bed, etc. The aunt at the front desk is very enthusiastic, and the security uncle is also very enthusiastic. He is probably a veteran employee. There is no need to wait for inspection when checking out, and no deposit is required. Just refund the card. Please take care of the facilities. Suitable for families and couples looking for value for money. Don’t expect everything at this price.

We opted for the floating breakfast and it was amazing, and a night at the rooftop dome dining experience, the food was delicious and top quality seafood too! Stayed here for three nights on a quick “weekend” getaway trip, and wasn’t disappointed. The room was very big, with a bedroom and en-suite seperate from the living area and kitchenette. Bed was a king size and very clean and comfortable. En-suite was big, clean with a bathtub/shower. Toiletries and clean towels supplied everyday, but there wasn’t a hairdryer just FYI. Chaise lounge in the living area along with flat screen tv and DVD player. Dining table and full size fridge, with bottled water supplied daily. We bought our own coffee and milk, but complimentary coffee is offered every morning down in The Sip cafe. There’s a nice rooftop respite too, and the washing machine is up there if you need to do laundry. Staff are very friendly, accommodating and polite. We really enjoyed our stay here! There are also a couple of Michelin Star restaurants down the street, along with a very good suit tailor just around the corner. Highly recommend if you want clean, quiet, self contained accommodation not smack bang in the city. For us, it was central and an easy walk to wherever we wanted to go, but there are plenty of taxis and tuk tuk’s available in the street if you’re not a walker (like us). SBS...clean, safe, comfortable and affordable, we like it!!

Not! Often! Recommend! Recommend! In Taiwan, you can use Lai to confirm the relevant details of the housing with the landlord (English communication is barrier-free, and the map guide is very intimate to facilitate passengers to arrive ~~~ The room has no difference with the pictures on the Internet, and the overall non-~ Chang~ Big ~ is also very clean! Each room has a private bathroom and simple toiletries, which is very friendly and intimate for friends! The only fly in the ointment is that the pool does not have extra lighting at night, so there will be a little black (but turning on the room light can also be an alternative solution xd If you have any questions during the journey, you can contact the landlord soon, very at ease >< (The accommodation is in a residential area, so it will take a little time to get to the downtown area, and pay attention to the volume at night! Recommended for all travelers who need private accommodation!

It's great. The location is super convenient. It's just next to Pixel Building. Two roads and two subway stations are not far away. There's an elevator and it's very convenient to go upstairs with luggage. The smell of herbal tea in the elevator is very nostalgic and the air conditioner is very strong. Downstairs is 711. Every night Wang Jia Er standing guard for you makes me happy just thinking about it hahaha I want to eat supper 711 is downstairs! Every morning, I go to the fruit stand downstairs to buy fruit. The owner of the stall is very cute, but he can speak Chinese but not English. When checking in, it may be that there is something wrong with the Ctrip platform. The aunt at the front desk inquired for a long time and charged a deposit of 300 baht. At that time, I thought there was still a deposit. The page for booking was not written. I was a little unhappy, but I still cooperated with the payment. Returning the deposit is very reassuring and it must not affect the staff I like very much afterwards. The hotel provides a simple breakfast, including coffee, milk, toast, eggs, etc., but the Ctrip page states that there is no breakfast. After arriving at the store, the clerk offered to provide breakfast. Wow, it was an unexpected surprise and it was very convenient. The auntie who baked bread for us at breakfast is also super nice and warm. I came back late to borrow a hair dryer. Although the night guard brother can’t speak English, there are twists and turns, but I can feel their enthusiasm. I really like the staff here Most importantly the store is super clean! ! ! ! I don't think my home is so spotless, this location, this environment, this price! So worth it! It may be that the boss didn’t spend much energy on online promotion, knowing that there are not many people in this hotel, but I really think it is a good choice, so I wrote such a long review to thank you for your care. This hotel is like a building There are a lot of apartment rooms and staff! In the end, if I have to say something wrong, my room has a balcony, but the view is not good, and the room size is not big, but the layout is reasonable. If I still go to Bangkok, I will consider staying here^•^

My son wanted to have a pod hotel experience on our Thailand trip, so we choose this hotel for our last night before flying out early in the morning. I would say it was a great option for a younger backpacker/traveler on a budget. We bought out an entire room so had private showers. The lockers were small, but we didn't need them. Not the best option for a family with a lot of luggage, but pretty clean. We did have a few people knock on our door in the middle of the night and try to get in for some reason.

The hotel is value for money. The room is adequate. However, we were allocated a room that is close to the BTS. So, we could hear the train passed, and it was annoying. We didn't bother to change room as we arrived quite late and just wanted to sleep.

It is very convenient. It only takes two minutes to walk to Thong Lo BTS. It is very convenient to go to large shopping malls such as Siam Paragon nearby! We are two adults and one child. Our daughter is 137cm and 9 years old. The three of us sleep on a King size bed and it is not too crowded! Our room rate did not include breakfast for three people, because there is a very famous mango sticky rice restaurant downstairs in the hotel. My husband went to buy it after 7 o'clock in the morning. The warm sticky rice grains were fragrant and the fragrant milk was also warm. After eating this restaurant, other I don’t want to eat it either! The hotel staff are polite and friendly. I will choose this hotel next time!
