This place is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. They gave me... a single woman staying alone a room that does not lock from either the door or deadbolt to the outside hallway. I had someone come open and walk into my room at 5 and even with the staff knowing they do nothing to fix or help the situation. When I spoke to the girl in the front desk in the morning since the overnight man was a useless POS she said oh maybe it was him as if having some random man walk into a womans room is normal?!? Ps it was not him. After asking and asking to speak with a manager and being told no countless times, then the manager was on his way then he wasnt, then he was again but in 2-3 hours. then again you guessed it he wasnt coming. and although all I wanted was to speak with him and he called a good 10 times while I was at the desk she would not pass the phone. finally they said they would comp a new room for the night and like everything else within 5 minutes everything changed again, this time they changed their mind and told me I have to leave without them taking any responsibility or making any other accommodation. The customer service is TERRIBLE the man over night is SO rude screams and hangs up calls, the manager is completely non existant coward and the girls are just useless. The only friendly person they had on staff was the room cleaner. If you take your safety seriously stay FAR AWAY FROM THIS NIGHTMARE!!!

I had a concert at Budweiser Stage September 24 and all the hotels in and around Toronto were ridiculous prices. We arrived about half an hour before check in and the front desk agent was able to get us a room that was just cleaned. We had a room with two queen beds and soon as we opened the door it all we could smell was CLEAN! The window is small but I'm not there to look out the window. We were about halfway down the building so noise from the expressway was not an issue. There was a bar fridge and a microwave which came in handy (the bar fridge for us). The bathroom was updated and very clean. The beds and pillows were comfy and we slept well. I went down to the lobby to get some water from the dispenser, which was turned off as it's normally only on until 11AM for the juice options. The front desk agent turned it on so I could get some water. PROS: Great price, comfy beds/pillows, great location, friendly staff. Tim Horton's next door! CONS: only saw one ice machine on the first floor by lobby. No shower chair for disabled people to use in the shower. They ask for a $200 hold on your CC upon check in which I think is excessive. Overall, this is a great, affordable option for a trip to Toronto. Right off the expresswa & very close to shopping. A no frills place to stay that won't break the bank!

We have been staying at the Old Mill on and off for many years. It is not the same as it once was. To have to order coffee and breakfast thru room service daily is a crime. Especially for how much they charge. How is it any different to offer coffee and breakfast in the Home Smith? Still need a cook and staff, either to bring it to your room or serve. Would make the stay so much better to have a relaxing breakfast and a coffee in the beautiful lobby. I understand during covid things needed to be changed. But by now, can't use that as an excuse anymore. I can have dinner in the Home Smith, no problem

This place was so bad that we had to laugh at it. The floor was wet in front of the air conditioner and when we inquired about it, was told that it was condensation from the air conditioner., happens in every room. Someone opened the door from the outside on our first day there at 9:42am and when we asked the front desk about it, they stated it must have been housekeeping and they would talk to the person. The door to the room did not open nor close easily. To open, you had to use your shoulder or hip to get into the room and when leaving the room, you had to pull the door shut as it did not close automatically. The queen bed was either a small queen or a double bed size. The room was much smaller than pictured on their website as there was one chair and a small table and limited space to walk around the bed. On the evening before we left, we asked if they had an area to store our luggage for a few hours and was told no. However in the morning as we were checking out, asked the person on duty if they would be able to store our luggage for a few hours and was told yes. By this time it was too late to do more sightseeing. Our room was outside the building in a small alcove and when you left the room, you were in the back parking lot. It was convenient for the venue we attended, but otherwise would never stay here again.

This is a terrible hotel. Not only is the hotel a dump, the location is awful. Located at the corner of King and Queen streets in Toronto, it is directly beside the TTC Streetcar turnaround. Noisy screeching sounds made it impossible to sleep. The room itself was a health hazard - soiled towels and stained bedspread - I'm not sure the linens were even washed! I found a Bic lighter in between the sheets! The bathtub had peeling enamel and rusty fittings; the tub faucet was lose and therefor difficult to adjust the water temperature; there was hair on the bathtub surround; window in the bathroom had no lock and had been left open. The wall paper was ripped, the door to the bathroom had punch holes;...I could go on and on. It was a disgrace! Oh, and no parking, which was never identified on the website. Shame on you Howard Johnson and Wyndham Hotels!! Someone from your corporate office needs to go and inspect this hotel as soon as possible. I will never stay at another Howard Johnson Hotel! I can't believe they had to nerve to charge money to stay there. The franchisee is clearly squeezing every penny out of this tired and sad building. Stay away! I stayed the night only because I arrived in the evening and had a funeral to attend early the next morning.

I stayed with Samesun in Toronto in Mars 2023. They have a 24 h open reception. The check in went smoothly, the rooms, bathrooms and showers were clean! You have a charger and a small lamp by your bed and curtains to separate yourself from the other’s. The best thing about the stay was the free of charge breakfast in the morning! Coffee, bagels, waffles, cereal, fruit etc.. so nice.

The suite hotel room is spacious, you can put an extra bed in the living room, and charge 25 Canadian dollars a day before tax. The kitchen facilities are complete, including utensils, which is convenient for family travel. The hotel is strategically located, 4 minutes walk from the subway station. The hotel has an underground parking lot. 30 Canadian dollars per day before tax. The basement is equipped with a public coin-operated washing machine and dryer, one to two Canadian dollars each time. There is also a larger indoor swimming pool. Although it is a bit dated, it is generally good.

Victorian style house. The location is very ideal, in the central area of Downtown Toronto. To the south is Queen Fashion Street, to the north is Dundas Dining Street, to the west is Spadina Chinatown, to the east is the Provincial City Hall Eaten Center shopping mall, and beside it are the Ontario Art Gallery AGO, the Ontario College of Art and Design OCAD, and parks Squirrels can be fed. You can walk south to the CN tower and the lake, and go north to how big it is. Very convenient for travel experience. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet, the heating is sufficient in the room, and the space is relatively compact, but it is equipped with a small refrigerator and microwave oven, and there is a washing machine and dryer in the ba*****t, which is very convenient. I like the oriel window of the room on the second floor the most, with a view of the street. The administrators Lucy and Sam are very friendly and willing to help in any way. Made us feel at home here. Will come again next time if there is a chance.

The location is perfect, a ten-minute walk from the Union Station and just adjacent to the ferry pier to Toronto Island. The ferry just cost 8.70 CAD for round trip for 20 mins. It is a nice place to visit, especially those who enjoy nature. We booked a room facing the lake, which is highly recommended. It is a real picture taken in the early morning from the window. The room service is nice and the buffet breakfast with lots of varieties of food. I needed to have a zoom meeting, and the internet service is stable. Though it is a paid service, it was waived as I am Bonvoy Member. Do join their membership.

The hotel was fantastic, great location and great facilities. The staff were also top class, extremely helpful and polite. Nathaly on reception ensured we were not only up to date of what the hotel could offer but provide a city map and pointed out lots of areas of interest for us to explore. Matthew in the concierge team was equally helpful and polite, leading use directly into the subway from the hotel to prevent us needing to carry heavy cases down the steep steps at the external entrance. Was okay. Not great, not terrible, could be better. Pros Location. Close to restaurants, CN Tower, Ripley’s Aquarium. Starbucks in building Comfy bed Housekeeping comes daily Quiet Cons Not all rooms have couch/sofa bed Bathroom door doesn’t have a lock, it’s a sliding door No blackout shades so room gets bright as som comes up $50 to valet and 35 to park at a lot around the corner Our bathroom didn’t feel clean, had a smell Hotel seems more for business not for couples or family Pool area is in lower level, doesn’t look like pictures, no window Dirty dishes from room service from another room was in the hall for 3 days and no one picked it up I had requested a higher floor room, asked for a room with a sofa bed…and extra towels. I got none of the requested. Was offered a cot. Sometimes you get back from excursions you want to kick off your shoes and relax on couch with your other half not get in the bed all sweaty and dirty…we got a room with a single chair. The cot was so uncomfortable with a huge dip in the middle. Room on 2nd floor had a view of valet. No extra towels provided. Only gave you new water bottles on first day. I felt like the room was overpriced. Bathroom had a smell to it. Mildew maybe? Couldn’t pinpoint the smell.

We stayed four nights at the hotel. The check in was quick and easy. The housekeeping services each day were very good. The restaurant onsite was not open but there are several coffee shops in the immediate area so that wasn't a problem. The public transit was close by and it easy to access. The reason we won't give the hotel five stars is because the WiFi was terrible. The routers were old and not secure, the service was very slow and we were not impressed.

The hotel is located at the intersection of Metro Line 1 and Line 2: 300 meters outside Bloor-Yonge Station, and a small black building in the alley. Outside the window, the green leaves are sparse. Retro-old old-fashioned telephone, some very literary thick books. The most amazing thing is that there's a vinyl record. Pull it out of the cover and put it on the Crosley disc. Enjoy. No coffee maker, instant coffee available in the cockroach. However, the kettle is SMEG, an Italian luxury brand.

My parents were there for my mums surgery (it is right opposite St Michael's Hospital) for the third time, I reached out to the hotel to request an early check in and for them just to extend extra care as I am in Vancouver and could not be there(travel restrictions). Shivani from the Marketing Team was quick to respond to my request, she assured me the message had been conveyed to the concerned persons at the hotel and my parents would be well taken care off, my mum called me right after they check in, not only were they given a CLEAN, SAFE, BEAUTIFUL, SPACIOUS HOTEL ROOM, they had such a warm welcome and Pela the receptionist actually remembered them from the last time they stayed. It is during these trialing times that these hospitality industry leaders serve as true heroes as they continue to create treasured experiences for people despite the conditions they are going through, the worry of what will happen to them tomorrow..... Just the comfort of knowing from miles away that my parents at the Pantages were 'at home' was indeed a priceless experience. We will keep booking Pantages when in Downtown Toronto for their amazing service and for always being ready to go the extra mile for their guests and I strongly recommend this hotel to any guest.....

After getting off the bus, you have to walk for a while to get there. The scorching sun was scorching hot, and it was difficult to get the room card, but I couldn't open it in various directions. Go back to the front desk on the first floor. The front desk didn't say sorry, just took the card and put it on the machine and gave it back to me. There is a shuttle bus to the airport. Wi-Fi is not very stable, so it works fine. Breakfast is $9.04 per person, and there are three set menus to choose from. It needs to be booked in advance, and the meal will be picked up at the front desk the next day.

Staff was friendly, room and common areas were very clean, internet was reliable and quick, breakfast was terrific! Only complaint is the bed covers. I got to the hotel super early after 9am because I missed my flight to head back home. I already know the 3pm policy so I went to the front desk. I was already super tired and hungry and was met by Satvik. I explained my dilemma and asked if I could rest my luggage down because I know I’m not able to check it now. He was so sympathetic to my situation smiled and said he had a room available now that I could check in. I was in shocked and super happy. He also thanked me for being a diamond member and gave me a snack package that I hadn’t had to ask for. I’ve stayed at 3 other hiltons in Toronto and not one of them offered me my snack package or acknowledged my status. Also I’ve met the lady at housekeeping on the floor and she was very friendly. I didn’t get her name, I wish I did. My room was very clean, fresh linen and towels. Also the other staff at front desk assisted me on where I can walk for food. Seeing that I already turned my car in. Also I received a wake up call for my shuttle bus to leave that next morning. Even though it was only one night, I’ve never felt so much appreciated. Please keep up the good work and to Satvik thank you so much!! When I return back to Toronto I will definitely stay here again! Thank you!!

We arrived as part of a USA & Canada trip from Ireland. My second visit to Canada and my partners first visit. This hotel was fantastic. We had started our trip in San Francisco in a holiday inn express so we hoped this hotel would mirror the experience we had there and it did! We were greeted as we entered by a gentleman on the desk. This was Easter time and the hotel had chocolate treats at the desk for guests. Thoughtful little gesture. The guy was very friendly and welcoming. He made sure that we would have a nice room and also that we would have a room up high to enjoy a nice view. Breakfast was included and we were again very impressed with the service and the selection that was on offer for breakfast just like San Francisco hotel. We arrived in our room which was great. The room had all the essentials and was very clean and Modern. The view was amazing overlooking the park across from the hotel and a view of all the sky scrapers in downtown Toronto. The hotel was very close to a metro supermarket for food and snacks for the room. We checked out a lovely restaurant called HOTHOUSE which we enjoyed the food and the service. Please check out a few coffee shops nearby including the black canary, Fahrenheit, b espresso bar and third wave coffee. Just a few mentioned. The hotel is near St Lawrence market for all the foodies. This market has so much to offer. Lots of local produce and fresh food market stalls for everyone. What a great city and what a fantastic hotel.

Because the hotel is just across the road and close to the subway station, the facilities introduced are also good, so I chose this hotel without hesitation. After I stayed, I felt very bad. It was the worst hotel I stayed in in Canada. I checked in the first night. We checked in at Niagara Falls and it was almost nine o'clock in the evening. We booked a double bed. The room was gone, and Ctrip could only change rooms the next day after the negotiation, and the trouble caused naturally need not be said; the next morning, I found that there was a reminder of the consumer text message at 3 o'clock in the hotel on the credit card. How to get it out was inexplicable, and it scared me to quickly close the credit card transaction function. Later, I was fortunate to have Ctrip help to solve it in a timely manner; I finally changed to a twin room the next night. Unexpectedly, this room was near the subway and it was too noisy to sleep all night . Fortunately, we stayed at this hotel for only two days! The most profound lesson is that when you deposit at the front desk of the hotel lobby, do not leave your credit card with your credit card, and do not easily give it to the front desk customer service. Special thanks also to Ctrip's customer service for helping to solve all the problems effectively and timely!

Our only sadness about the place was that the pool and other facilities were closed, but we didn't go for the pool. They were able to let us use the nearby Delta, which was nice but we didn't want to go outside of the complex for that. Common thing that happens in December/January so we weren't too shocked. We were on the club floor for the hors d'oeuvres, for what you get compared to other high end chains that offer this, we noticed there was much more choice of food items. The lounge seemed to be a little dirty and shabby, the chairs have not been steam cleaned for quite some time, you could see the dirt in the morning sunlight where people have wiped their hands on the furniture over the years. We noticed the little things, and on one of the hot table stations they missed a small speck of the curry sauce from the night before on the edge of the serving dish. It didn't affect the food quality, nor did it warrant a complaint, but attention to detail could be a little better on the part of the kitchen staff. The customer service was amazing at this hotel, everyone was so friendly and attentive. Despite all this, we will be back.

When I booked this it clearly said POOL There was no pool needs to be taken off the website. Room was clean, not enough towels for 4 people. There were only 2. I did not see a problem with breakfast, it was pretty much hot breaky. Sat morning there were home fries, scrambled eggs, bacon ( which needed to be cooked more so I didn't eat it ) There is a machine to make your own waffles, bread for toast and I believe hot dogs ? Muffins ( They were blueberry that is why they looked the way they did, they were not moldy ) juice, coffee, tea. There was no fresh fruit which was disappointing. 1st night wedding was awakened at 2am by the wedding party good thing they went to their rooms and settled down. 2nd night another wedding was at their venue never heard a peep. When we did come back on the Sat around 7 our room keys didn't work. Person at the front desk was apologetic and gave us new ones. Also asked for decafe and he delivered 4 pkgs to our room since there was none at breaky.

I was very impressed with this hotel since I used to stay at the hotel when it was the Intercontinental. They spruced it up a bit with some paint and lighter hallways but really it was the service that impressed me. All the staff I came in contact with were excellent. The room was bright and comfortable and clean. The bathroom was a little old as the shower door felt like it would fall off it’s hinges and gone were the luxury soaps creams and shampoos from the IC. No frills but if you asked for a bathrobe they brought it up. Fridge was not working but the Nespresso machine was. Never ending great coffee was a big plus too. I tried room service twice as I was working in the room during the day and the food, while limited, was delicious. I would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel as the location can’t be beat as well.

The sound of the plane is a bit too big. It is not recommended to sleep at night. It is afraid of a quiet room. The room is ok. The toilet is good. The bathing stuff is complete. The towel bath has no smell.

The house is big, the bedding is very good, the parking lot is a little far away, the swimming pool is very good, very good, the transparent glass roof can see the planes on the skyline.
