1.35km from downtownWe stayed here on our first night in Rio, we were so happy we were only staying one night here before moving closer to the main part of Rio. The hostel is run down badly and needs work ASAP. The pool area was shut and no vibe or atmosphere, the room are at the back and are storage containers that have been transformed. The rooms are sooo hot you are dying the air con is minimal and is no help. The Bathroom is awful mould everywhere and so small. Close to stadium but stay somewhere else.

4.22km from downtownI would like to thank you the hotel for my stay, First of all, the hotel reception were just INCREDIBLE, they tried to do everything they could to make my stay perfect. I had trouble with charging my iPhone and they tried their best to make sure I could charge my iPhone. Great upgrade for me , I was staying at the Premier floor and just fantastic with a beautiful view! I spent some time and the pool by the roof , clean , nice and tidy and really I had a good time there, specially cause we are a bit further to Ipanema beach. The lady who were cleaning my room ,she was so kind and friendly. Thank you very much for looking after me during my stay last december. Thiago Costa
4.23km from downtownStayed here for a few nights after arriving in South America. We chose the hotel for the views on the website, and the reality didn't disappoint. I think you would find it hard to choose a hotel with better views of Rio. It really is exceptional. Everything is top quality. The manager, Ursula, was superb. Always there to greet you when arriving back, and attentive to all of our needs. All of the staff were superb. You feel very secure here as well because the property is on a hill with gates manned by security guards. The history of the property is fascinating as well. Avoid the big hotels and try this out - you won't be disappointed. A few reviewers said they had difficulty with taxies finding it - wed didn't have a problem with any of the local taxies, but it has only been open 3 years, so this maybe is improving.

4.24km from downtownExcellent service. Very good facilities. Comfort room. Only breakfast was bad. Because of the pandemic, there was nothing exposed (an important measure), but they served almost nothing. I paid R $ 88 for coffee and didn't like it. The rest was excellent.

4.99km from downtownStaff were very friendly on check in and our request for a double room during Carnival was kindly honoured. We were able to check in an hour early which was very much appreciated. Our room was quite small but lots of floor space. Some shelving or drawers would have been appreciated, as only small wardrobe with a shelf underneath. There was also a desk and 1 chair, but we ended up living from our suitcases as no drawer space. Next to wardrobe, above mini fridge, there was one shelf which was useful. Wifi worked well in our room, but our group in the back of the building did not have wifi for most of the week of our stay. No kettle in room which is disappointing, but same elsewhere in Brazil. The room was nice and clean in general, but on arrival the floor was filthy and needed a good clean. This was improved on throughout our stay though, although still room for improvement, so we think may only have been so dirty as we were given early access to the room. Our view from the window was of the air conditioning units right outside our room! The bathroom was very small with absolutely nowhere to put anything, but shower was large (as big as rest of bathroom!) and water at a good pressure and temperature. Aircon worked well and kept room nice and cool. Beds were comfy, but not fitted sheets so the sheet and the mattress protector kept getting ruffled up and we had to keep flattening out again. Pillows were very comfy, right combination of hard/soft and plumpness. Towels like sand paper though! Cleaners always very helpful to provide extra towels and toilet roll on request. A few issues with our room though - the main light in bedroom kept flickering on and off sporadically. Also air con unit at foot of bed has bright blue light on all the time, which is rather annoyingly bright in the dark when you're trying to sleep! Also, right outside our room (503) was the maids cupboard, near to the lifts, and they would be chattering away most mornings from 7am. Our room was also VERY loud. At first we thought this was simply due to it being Carnival with loud beeping and base music right outside our window, actually rattling the panes, all night long! but we stayed on afterwards for a few days and the street is just so loud!! You can literally hear every noise from the street too, as I don't think the window shutters sealed properly as definitely no sound proofing. Even with the air con on all night and with ear plugs it was still hard to sleep. You can also clearly/loudly hear nearby rooms' conversations through the bathroom air vent - so be warned! Lower number rooms at the front of the building are super loud! The lifts are very old and urgently need maintenance - many times the lift did not properly meet the floor, with a large step to exit. The 2 lifts are tiny and hold a maximum of 3 persons. The hotel has a small outdoor swimming pool on the terrace and there is a small gym and sauna. There is not really any space for lounging by t
Hotels Near Spoleto Tijuca In Rio De Janeiro Review
Hotel with a great location is a great breakfast these are the positives. Negative points: you pay for the stay and parking is not free, pay the amount of R $ 50.00. Point I did not like, in addition to being charged R $ 15.00 at check in as a service fee, I found it unnecessary.
We chose this hotel based on it not being in the heart of Tourist central of Copa Cobana. What a good idea it was! Super friendly staff and competent service made it feel like a small intimate hotel rather than the exceptionally large establishment it turned out to be. All you can eat buffet meals with divine ripe fruits for breakfast, local brazilian specialities and pastries made lingering over breakfast a real treat. Local shops had an array of souvenirs and clothing plus the local Sunday market made it ideal for shopping too. Good selection of cafes, restaurants and bars all within easy walking distance. Couldn't fault this location on any way.
I have been to a lot of hostels in the world but my god, this one sets the standards. The staff treat you like they have known you for years and you are good friends. I have been to Rio twice before but I have never actually gotten beneath the surface, these guys take us to all the coolest places, all round Rio. Party, hiking, sights, nothing is to much to ask. I dont just recommend this hostel, I insist you stay here if you want to experience Rio properly.
The location is very good and the view is wide. It takes about 20 yuan to get a taxi from the old city. It is better to use Uber. The taxi is more expensive. The overall environment and sanitation are very good, the breakfast industry is more abundant, and the business trip is preferred.
This is the place to have the best time and view when in Rio. Personally hosted by the owner you will feel like in Paradise. Ideal for a romantic weekend with your significant other or with an exclusive group of friends. Marcello, the owner, will take care of all your needs and will make any adaptation if needed to make you feel like at home. In a word: Awesome!!!
Air conditioning dripping into the room. Shower doesn't get too hot. We asked for an extra towel for the pool and it was not taken to the room. Breakfast was plentiful but there was no control over the number of guests in the restaurant and it was packed. Many guests helping themselves without a mask and without gloves. Pool area clean.
It was determined by the reviews I did not know what staying anywhere for the first time in Rio. The place is in the downtown area, and the surrounding area is a little dirty and there are concerns about security. There is a big supermarket nearby so you can shop there. Use Uber to move.
The hotel itself is new, spacious and easy to use and the staff are very friendly.
Ottima pulizia. Davvero unici! Rooms are very clean. Located 100 metres far from the beach of Copacabana. Our room was located at 10 floor so we could enjoy the sea-view. But what really made our day (week) were the guys at the front desk. They were extremely helpful, funny, smart and helped us to optimize our stay in Rio. THANKS GUYS!!!!!!!!! You rock Serena (and Mattia)
VERY well located hotel, attentive and helpful staff. Whenever I can I will come back !!!
Nice hotel, good location, easy to eat, breakfast OK.
Good location and the staff are polite. Although new, the hotel does not follow modern standards. example: it has wall air and does not work well. Location is good and coffee is also satisfactory.
The room size and facilities were of good standard and staff were very friendly. All staff were very helpful. Daniel and Fernanda helped me in the process of getting hold of Flamengo match tickets and without them it would not have been possible at the price I paid as they went the extra mile for me for which I am forever grateful. Had a great and safe stay at the hotel which is extremely convinient with a Metro station inside the station so I would thoroughly recommend this location along with the shops it has access to
We stayed at the KS residence for two weeks. We absolutely loved our stay there. It's a comfortable and handy place to be. The location is great. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Very clean. I would go back.
Very basic hotel but it has everything you need and the location is fantastic. If you want basic and I mean basic but cost effective accommodation this hotel is for you. It has daily cleaning services. The bathroom had a good shower and hairdryer. You can walk to Copacabana and Ipanema in minutes.
The boss is Chinese, can provide Chinese breakfast, dinner, the price is not expensive, can also provide a kettle and electric fan, the service is very intimate
The Hilton Hotel is a 30-minute drive from Rio de Janeiro International Airport. There are large shopping malls and restaurants in 5 minutes. The lake view is about 10 minutes by car from the beach.
The hotel rooms are neat and well-equipped, and the bathrooms are clean and spacious with plenty of water pressure and hot water. The towels are comfortable and white, the hotel is an international group, and large-scale facilities are available. Swimming pools, bars, fitness rooms, restaurant meeting rooms ... massages, etc.
Breakfast is a wide variety of buffet styles. There are more than ten types of cakes to choose from, including fruit and hot dishes. The most special is that there is a self-service juicer, which chooses the freshest fruits for you every day.
The reception and the waiters are attentive and attentive, and will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have. The comprehensive cost-effectiveness is in line with expectations and recommended staying.
I booked the Laghetto mainly for the location (beachfront and quieter than Copa etc) and also because I was able to get a room with a balcony which is not offered by many hotels. The price point was reasonable and generally reviews were good. I'm glad I had the balcony although the noise of the sea and road are a factor and at night I'd have the door closed and ac on. The room was a good size and beds were comfortable, to be very critical I'd say the room was a little tired and could do with updating and the furnishings were basic with minimum storage, a desk with a drawer would have been useful and more drawers for clothes, but overall perfectly comfortable and adequate. A highlight would be the buffet breakfast and I would particularly like to thank a fellow guest from Buenos Aries who kindly translated for me at the omelette bar, I was able to get my 3 fried eggs, sunny side up thanks to her! I never thanked her properly and would love to one day maybe, stvtayler(at)aol.com The staff were generally very helpful and I would stay again.
Great location. Would recommend. Easy walk to everything. The wifi was great.
Currently half way through our amazing lifetime trip to ROCK In RIO. Wanted a hotel close by and what a hotel we chose. Utterly superb. Top class. Room 1224. Overlooking the bay. Fabulous. King size comfy bed. Kitchen area with all you need. Large shower. Toiletries and towels provided. Service is top class too. Lovely staff. So polite and friendly. Had a bad insect (mozzy) bite night we arrived. Bad swollen. Tope on reception she was super helpful calling the drug store had some brufen and spray delivered right to the hotel as the access was restricted due to the festival and would have made it difficult for us to get across the road. Fabulous and so grateful for this service. Pool on the first floor is lovely and clean. Smallish for the size of hotel but I always found a free bed. Towels provided. Free breakfast is great. Lots to choose from. Fruit. Cold meats. Cheese. Plenty bread and rolls. Warm dishes too sausages, fritatas, veg, pancakes, pastries. Toastie machine. Tea coffee juice. All lovely. Laundry is easy to use. Also on 1st floor. Definitely come back. Lots of love from Scotland 🏴🏴 Michelle and Iain.
Family of 5, 2 adults + 3 kids. Great family hotel, wonderful staff, outstanding manager. I booked online and send a message requesting a crib, and they answered me in a couple hours. When I arrived, everything was set up and perfect. The sink water didn't have that much pressure, but it was not a problem. The breakfast was great, a lot of options, our family enjoyed it a lot. Really good location, walking distance to the beach, and park. Huge grocery store by the side, tons of restaurants and bars. Overall, I would definitely book this hotel again.
It is recommended that children's small ocean view suites are the best room types in the hotel. Spacious with a small living room and only one large bed
If you are a kid, coming to the store will make you a triple room
The hotel is across the road from the beach. To the beach, you can pick up towels at the front desk and a bracelet
The hotel's own swimming pool is very small on the top floor
Very good! All quality, great breakfast.
#周边环境# The surrounding environment is not bad, if it is not because the law and order of Rio is not very good, it will not be so clean, the hotel room is quite clean.
Great location, it is at the exit of the subway, in its surroundings there is varied commerce. Breakfast with plenty of variety. Close to the beach
Hotel location is very good, facing the sea, the window is more than ten kilometers (tens of kilometers?) of the vast beach, white waves rolling, very comfortable. Room facilities and hygiene are very good. But for the Chinese people, there is no hot water bottle or coffee machine. It is a bit regrettable. Sometimes it will be cooler in August. I really want to have a cup of hot tea or coffee, but I have to go to the lobby to get hot water, although the attitude is good, but It is always not very convenient. The breakfast in the store is also good, buffet and dinner are also convenient. In addition, there are many restaurants in the vicinity, but the cost is not cheap.
The hotel is 300 meters from the top of the sea. It is very convenient to go to the sea, and the beach is very good. But the hotel is a bit far from the airport and the city (it is recommended to take a taxi with Uber). Toothbrushes and toothpaste in the room need to bring their own (Ctrip is better if notified in advance), drinking water needs to buy it yourself, compatriots who like to drink boiling water can bring a kettle, just don't forget to bring a multi-purpose socket. The hotel's service is good and the health is very good.
Hygge House is located in Barra de Tijuca. Close to the beach (just 5 min walking) in a very quiet and secure neighborhood. Close to the metro to Copacabana area. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Breakfast is good. The swimming pool area is very clean and spacious. Hygge House also offers the guests a place where to cook with all the stuff necessary to do it. In the common areas are flat TV and comfortable sofas. Wi-Fi connection is very good all around the hotel. A special paragraph to the staff. They are very helpful, nice and friendly. I strongly recommend Hygge House if you are looking for a place where to stay in Rio.
Great location. Would recommend. Easy walk to everething. The wifi was great.
I also looked at the information in the comments to find the shuttle bus, so I wrote some useful information myself for the convenience of you out.
The hotel is good, but the price is not expensive, it is close to the airport, but there is no noise of the plane taking off, and it is very quiet.
It looks very tall inside.
Take the sidewalk from Exit D of the airport to the second platform. There is such a brand on the left side of Exit D, which is still very easy to find.
The car is like this, the shuttle bus stops at one place. It is similar to shuttle bus, but not the same, with the hotel name on it.
Central location, friendly people and reliable staff
Breakfast is especially good ~~~~
7 minutes walk to the beach.
