      I do not recommend staying at the Quality Inn Downtown Walla Walla or using Priceline.com at all. When I checked in at the Quality Inn they informed me that the pool was closed. So from the start I was already disappointed with staying at this hotel. The hotel room had a very thin uninsulated door and you could easily hear noise and conversation in the hallway. The fan in the bathroom was quite loud and vibrating and clearly needed to be repaired or replaced. But then the hot water went out in the morning. I was supposed to stay a second night but decided that it was not worth my money, and gather my belongings to check out and get a refund for my second night. When I booked this room, I was hesitant to spend the money for 2 nights up front, but I really just needed a nice little get away for the weekend, which I was certainly not getting by staying at this hotel. I didn’t think it would be a problem to check out a day early, and receive a refund for the second night, especially because of the problems the hotel was having. When I tried to request a refund for just the second night, the manager of the hotel made it quite clear that he did not care whether or not his guests had hot water, and refused to refund me for the second night. He then tells me that the water is working again while I am standing in front of him with my luggage and car key in hand. I suspect most people who have a bad experience with a hotel would not want to stay more than one night, and that the staff would graciously refund the amount for the nights not used. Instead, Priceline and Quality Inn chose to rob me. I am still being made to pay $269.60 for a hotel that I only stayed one night in, and did not have a usable pool as advertised, and did not have hot water. I caution anyone using Priceline or who is considering staying at this hotel. The one star is well deserved.

      This is our go-to hotel for weekends in Walla Walla. We love Walla Walla - wineries, restaurants, winemaker dinners . . . and, we visit about every other month and in the summer, just about 2x in a month. Courtyard Marriott is walking distance to Downtown Walla Walla, which makes it easy to grab breakfast or dinner or go wine tasting. Parking is free. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. WiFi works. Internet TV for the times you like to sit in the room. I have never had the food at the hotel, but I have ordered DoorDash from the Maple Counter Cafe, which was delicious. Generally, we book a good rate. Depends on what is going on for the weekend. If you know it is a busy weekend, book in advance. No views. No frills. Just a good clean hotel with friendly staff and a great location.

      It was fine....no complaints about the room. Recommend that the hotel invest more in the breakfast offerings. For example, would be nice to have some whole wheat bread, more fruit choices (I only saw bananas and oranges). The hot breakfast options were a little sp****....mostly empty when I looked each day. The biscuits and gravy were often the only offerings....which is fine for one day, but not realistic if you're staying a week or watching your calorie intake. Bagels were not fresh and they were out of cream cheese all week. One morning the hot water (for tea) was empty. The automatic pancake machine was impressive.
