Roop mahal premier inn is centrally located to visit sree padmanabha swamy temple. It is also centrally located if you want to have some good vegetarian fare or want to shop around for clothes. The rooms were small and average but we stayed only for one night so it was ok. We did not avail breakfast and don’t know if they serve breakfast or not.

Let's start with this place point by point date of visit (7 may to 8 may) 1- reached the hotel little early around 8.30 am. The assistant manager (Mahesh) said he will try to give the room by 11 after confirming with the manager (who refused to share his name but has worked for 11 years in Hospitality in Colaba, Mumbai) The manager refused and asked for additional amount. Which I understand must be the policy. But the arrogance of the manager is hard to miss 2- the room was filled with mosquitos. There was no Soap. The Linen was untidy 3- the Highlight (Check out) we checked out at 11.30 the official time and requested to keep the luggage at the side for sometime till we get some clothes and snacks. The Manager replied not more than 1 hour as it will create disturbance to us. How can 2 bags create disturbance if it's kept in a corner of the waiting area. Part 2 - we reached back by 1.10 pm which he didn't appreciate. We asked the manager about the other places that we can visit, he was completely clueless and had zero interest in replying. While we were sitting quietly in the waiting area he asked us to get out in an extremely rude manner. You can't ask your guests to get out of the property, they are not causing any inconvenience to other patrons. Please please please avoid this place just for the Manager. He is not worthy of being in the Hospitality industry. I really hope the owner of the property takes note of this incident and takes some action against the manager because despite being at good location the people who are running it are leaving a bad taste. I'm writing this review from a restaurant nearby the property as we were asked to GET OUT. P.S. the assistant Mahesh did apologize on behalf of the manager but the damage was done by then

Firstly the stay location was optimum. Then the room, bathroom and premises were all clean. The management was welcoming helpful and informative. Cherry on the top was the neighbouring restaurant and juice centre which served good quality food which saved the effort of searching for food and beverages. As mentioned earlier the location is approx 6. 5kms from airport, both bus station and railway station were within a 1 km range, even the famous padmanabhan swamy temple was at a distance of less than 500mtrs. Over-all a good place to stay while travel-ling with friends and families.

The stay at ginger was excellent and supporting staff were polite, interacted and helpful in guiding me through timely responsive action for attending the workshop nearby, though i reached late night there were no delay in allotment of room, which are near, hygienic and well maintained. The breakfast, dinner served is good, authentic, traditional and affordable. Especially, the manager abhilash sir is knowledgeable, positive response, patience enough and good guiding manager to the guests. The hotel appears to be an old establishment but is still well-maintained. They have the cutest lift in the world, which can only accommodate two people at a time. The staff and atmosphere are excellent. I would rate this hotel 4 out of 5 stars. The food is very good and reasonably priced. The location is perfect, situated right next to the railway station, making it easily accessible. The staff are all very courteous and helpful. I stayed with my family for a night, and they even provided us with a room the next evening for free so we could freshen up. I really appreciate that gesture.

I booked 3 rooms in the hotel for my Mother in Laws 80th Birthday celebration. I wanted to speak to the hotel to organise transfers and local travel. The number they provided could not connect. When it did, it transpired that it was the wrong number. I then called the Vivanta main number bit again no response. I wrote to them on their email address but again no response. I then wrote a complaint on their website but again no response. Hence I cancelled the hotel and booked Hyatt. I have stayed in a number of Vivanta hotels India and am a Neupass member but it seems to have gone downhill recently. Shame.

It is at walking distance from Trivandrum Central Railway Station and Bus Station. With moderate luggage, one may not need any wheeled transport to reach there. The steps leading to the Reception appears a put off. The rooms are well appointed and the service is excellent. The restaurant has excellent infrastructure. The staff at the restaurant, though very pleasant and helpful, appear a bit stressed to handle the customers when there is a rush. Food served was quite nice but there are some limitations regarding choices. The prices appear a bit more than it is worth but this is a reasonably good option to stay near Trivandrum Central.

We booked this hotel for three nights and its one of the best hotel I stayed recently . Rooms are luxurious with all quality toiletries . The staffs are all humble, polite and always welcome us with a genuine smile. We had only break fast but the food was delicious with varieties . But they can improve the quality of desserts and bread items in break fast buffet. Its just a feed back rest everything was awesome. Special thanks to FO team , ***ger Shinoj , EX Chef , waitress at restaurant who assisted us during BF( Don't know her name ) and all members at CR TVM. Keep up the good work and we shall visit this property again.

The room we were given was connected to another through a door. The door was locked from both sides. A big group of 40 students had checked in. And one group, about 7 or 8 of them, were in the room next to us. At night 11pm, they were making noise and talking loudly, which was a nuisance for us. We called the reception a couple of times requesting them to tell the students to keep quiet. But they did not do anything. The said they would talk to the teacher !!. Finally, we knocked on their door and requested them to be quiet. But they continued thei noise. And when they left well past night, they ran our room bell and went. Is it no the responsibility of the hotel staff to ensure customers maintain decorum? The rooms did not have a fan, only ac. And the ac temperature indication was so bright, that it lit up the whole room. Room service was pathetic. Whatever we asked from the menu, the response was a curt ‘no’. Housekeeping was ok. Lop cation is good, not crowded. There are veg only hotels nearby.
