The hotel is not a hotel, it is at most a hotel. Indian brother is very timely to check in (if you can help me with a baggage, huh, huh) because there is no elevator. . There is no soap except the toilet paper in the room. The little friend remembers to bring the shampoo shower gel. The wifi signal is not good, and the bath water is hot. The price is also moderate. Three people live 260.

I have been here for long vacation and untlimately ends up being in thia hotel longterm. This is hotel has no customer service, bizzar laguage been used by the receptionist cum cahsire. Managemt dont care about the customers, they all belive what the reseptionests says. No water, literally there is no water . Specifically towerds in the evening No hot water at all. If you need to have a wash you must call the receptionist and inform . The evilish receptionist name call Janani calls you at 7.30 am and if there is adelay then thats theend of the story. They charge big but not nevern giving daily complimentry water bottles even. If you stay for one night and the bed.linon is good then they will flip the covers upside and down and prepare fro the next customer airrivals. Complimentry towels offerd to customer is beenused to wipe the toilet .customer used towels been used to cleen toilet.floors after wasing the lavatory . No room.service for two days . As per hotel policy they dont change or clen the rooms for days if customer staying. Broken toilet equipments. Most of the rooms in the hotel has cheap hotel itmes such as ,beds and stiff sprin metress ,toilet equipments and ect .is not upto a standerd . Dingy elivator workes sometime and sometine its dont . Per room.one bedsheet and two soft pillows have been given even if there is two custowes stay at room. Overall this place is a horrifying experiance for me .though you have paid money, this is a place you cant expect customer service , they priorities money on the meantime customer is been treated very very bad . Starting from managemnt to ground level staffs . Last but not least price point they selling such a low scaled hotel really high. hence i would like to request tripasvosor to re evaluate the service standerds .

The Western breakfast was great. I could eat it every day. The room was clean, but there was a problem with the door lock design. After entering the room, I had to use a mobile phone to light and light to lock the door! Very inconvenient! OK Folks once upon time this used to be one of the best hotels in Sri Lanka. That was decades ago, this is one of the very few Sri lankan government owned hotel today. This is not so luxurious to match a five star, but a pretty good hotel which fits in well for a three star. There are glitches here and there, it's an old building, you might find the hot water not working or a broken switch, pardon that, the hotel is working very hard to fix those with the little financial resources they have. The staff of the hotel are very kind and hard working. If you request them for something, they will not hesitate to try there best to satisfy your needs. The hotel has undergone a renovation recently and working hard to maintain a good menu of food. Again people are good and hard working but with the financial resources they have, there are limitations. Overall its a good 3 star hotel with a decent menu of food and really polite people. Help them by reserving your rooms with this little place which has a big history, the more guest who visit this place, the more money they get, so they can serve you better the next time your arrive. Be kind when making your reviews, try to look through the eyes of good people here who are trying to make your stay the best ever. Let encourage more people to use thus hotel so they can soon start to cater you with five star perfection.

It was really cordial to stay in a Chinese-owned hotel in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The room decoration was in the style of a Chinese express hotel. Being in a foreign country, I immediately felt like I had returned home! Unfortunately, the hot water was always unavailable, and many details were not done well. Many areas of the hotel still need to be improved.

Thus being so Chamath reached out to Mr.Denver to seek advise. Within a span of 30 minutes Chamath called me back & confirmed informing me that the reservation is successful & the hotel could have my brother-in-law & his wife to enjoy their anniversary evening at the hotel that evening. I stayed at this hotel twice during my trip to the Island and on both occasions the team made me feel at home. The hotel is affordable for budget travelers and provides all the basic amenities and offers a very solid Sri Lankan or Continental breakfast. The bathrooms and the bed linens are clean and the rooms are air-conditioned, I did have the occasion to stay in the pricy Cineman Grand and Galleface hotels, however for the price they charge and the helpfulness of the staff. Hotel Sapphire is well worth the stay. I will give it two thumbs up.

Quiet in the middle of noisy. It is an English-style mansion built during the colonial period of Sri Lanka in the 1930s. Tintagel is named after a castle in Cornwall, England (the birthplace of the legendary King Arthur) and Paradise Road is a high-end lifestyle brand created by local Sri Lankan designer Shanth Fernando. Geoffrey Bawa, a famous architect, participated in the design transformation. Before 2005, it was the residence of the President of Sri Lanka. Enabled early settlement. Air conditioner, fan, hot water, safe. Stayed in the hotel together with my son from 25.01.2024 to 28.01.2024 They were pleasantly surprised by the modern interior and purity of the hotel, as well as the kindness of the staff. Very beautiful lobby with live music every evening! A fantastic restaurant with a magnificent Swedish table for dinner, where you can try both fresh seafood and national cuisine. A very pleasant open pool on the 6th floor, where you can enjoy both the ocean view and the city. Spacious modern rooms. Special thanks to the charming girl Darje - the guests' manager.
