|9.34km from city centerI think I would've been much happier with this resort if it wasn't falsely advertised. They have it rated as a 4.5 -5 star property which it absolutely is not. there's NO service to speak of. There's one person who sits behind a desk like a motel. you even light your own fire pits . theres a couple of games out for the kids , connect for, etc. I'm unclear why it's categorized as a vacation club. The amenities are minimal. There is a game room on the fifth floor but it's not worth going to. The room furnishings are very islander style. Definitely nothing luxurious, but it was comfortable enough. my bathtub didn't drain each night and the pillows were so high I got a neck ache. They definitely aren't Marriott heavenly beds. Panama City draws a clientele that is less desirable than Rosemary Beach or Santa Rosa Beach witch is driving distance. there were still plenty of families on the beach here . I will be positive and say that the views are absolutely amazing and every room is oceanfront. We stayed in room 203, which was down one flight of stairs to the sand. this property is only five floors high which I loved. there are high risers on either side. the front of the hotel does sit on a busy street, which is worth noting, and the area is nothing that I would feel safe walking around at night. so I am going to say if you expect a three star property, you will be happy. I feel like my review is fair. I did have a wonderful week. I came here with my 13-year-old daughter to kick off the summer. I was incredibly disappointed as I was told. It was a five star property but once I adjusted mentally I was OK. I stayed in a one bedroom. there was massive construction happening at the front of the resort, so check if that's complete if you're coming in June. if you get a good price on the room, it's definitely worth staying here. The hot tub was amazing and piping hot but my issue was there was no check system so anyone can walk in and use the facilities.

I loved the balcony view from the 3rd floor and the swimming pool was the real highlight. There is also a small laundry area located near the office. The only thing negative was one of the elevators was slow but otherwise, we had a great stay and will be back!

We got to meet the general manager this time and he was so nice. The place is under construction but it doesn’t effect the stay at all. That its self is amazing. We come to Panama City beach every other month and this will be our new home away from home. Thank you Johnny and your staff for making us feel welcome.

However, I will never stay here again because of extreme unprofessionalism from the hotel “security,” and poor customer service of front desk staff after I was accused of lying and was threatened to have the cops called on me over a simple misunderstanding regarding the pool. During my stay, my cousin and her handicapped boyfriend were visiting and we decided to go to the pool around 11pm. The hotel confirmation email that I had received prior to my stay clearly stated 24 hr pool access, so I was confused when the side gate to the pool wouldn’t open. As I was trying to figure out how to open the gate so that we could enter the pool area, a girl outside the far end of the pool area showed us that that gate was open and that we could enter through it. So we went in, sat our things down, and were getting into the pool when 2 “security” men approached us and told us to get out immediately. According to them, the pool closed at 10 pm, and when I explained that I read that it was 24 hour pool access, they replied, “no you did not,” and would not listen to or believe me. They also wanted to know how we got access into the pool area because they had locked it. When we explained that some girl showed us that the gate was open, they did not believe us and instead accused us of breaking the lock to get in. They were very angry and would not hear us out and, as we were gathering up our things and my cousin’s handicapped boyfriend was getting into his wheelchair and my cousin was trying to get her shoes on, the men again told us that we needed to get out immediately or they would call the cops on us. I took the issue to the front desk and explained everything and showed where the email had stated 24 hr pool access. She explained that they have been having a lot of issues with third party bookings, which is how I booked. She said “sorry bout that,” as if it was the tiniest of mistakes, but we did not get a true apology for how poorly we were treated by the men at the pool. The next morning I went back out to the pool area and confirmed that there were no pool hours posted anywhere. There also were no times listed on the website. I went back to the front desk and again explained the previous night’s situation, and all I was told was that “all pools close at that time,” with a dead stare from the front desk staff, as if they could care less that I was upset and that it was my fault for not knowing that the pool closed at 10, regardless of there being no signs with pool hours anywhere around the pool area. I never did get a sincere apology for the poor treatment we received by those 2 men or for their threatening to call the cops on us. I’m sorry this is so long but if you are considering this resort, I advise against it. There is better customer service literally anywhere else.

The lady (Flow) that works the night shift the sweetest and most helpful clerk we've ever encountered, we absolutely love her but they are all great. Housekeeping is there like clock work every day so you can always count on them. The location is perfect and close to great restaurants and MS newbys bar. Family friendly but also cool for spring breakers.

|11.59km from city centerStayed because we were only in town two nights and were not going to be in the place other than to sleep and shower. The staff was the best thing about the hotel. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, polite and accommodating. Rooms were ”surface” clean (clean sheets and counters) but in need of a deep cleaning and updating. For instance, a huge hole in the bathroom wall and a desk chair that should have been in the garbage bin years ago! We did have a problem with the hotel giving another guest a key to our room after midnight! Luckily, we had the dead bolt locked. But even through there was a Do Not Disturb sign on the door and the door was locked from inside, this guy was bound and determined to get in the room. He was trying to knock the damn door down! We woke up to a crash that made us both, literally jump out of bed! Sounded and felt like a car crashed into the building! I went to the closed door and through it told him he had the wrong room. He asked if I could open the door a crack because his key was stuck in the door. I said ”No, go to the front desk”. He asked again, I told him no way I was opening the door and to go back to the front desk!! I called the desk, but no one answered. The next morning, when I left the room to get breakfast (which was ok at best) I found the key stuck in the door frame. He was trying to jimmy the lock!! When I grabbed the card the light on the door pad turned green. It was a key to open our room. I went to the front desk and explained what happened. They checked the computer and said it had our room as being vacant. I told them we'd been they for two nights. They apologized, but that was it. Grabbed breakfast and got out of there. Also, the first night they had little league teams staying there, running up and down the halls yelling and banging on doors! So, both nights we were woken up after midnight. Again, it is a budget hotel, and I knew that going in. It wasn't the first time staying in one and probably won't be my last. But surely two nights will be my limit, anything more than that I'll splurge for a better place.

On our stay, they provided Dove products for toiletries, so be mindful of that if you are allergic to them (if you don't bring your own). It is centrally located just a quick drive to the beach, food, and shopping. Very quiet. I would definitely stay again!

The front desk clerk was answering the phone as I approached the desk. The manager hurried over to make sure I received prompt attention. It was a Saturday, how many mangers work on Saturday? When I complemented on the hotel and asked if it was a new build, I was amazed when he said 6 years old. He said most of his staff had been with him since it opened. I would definately recommend a stay here. It's only a few miles from the beach and many restaurant and stores. Great clean place with comfortable bed and free breakfast.

|3.73km from city centerAn amazing stay at Home2Suites in Panama City FL! We booked a queen bedroom suite. Upon walking into the front doors to check in, a fresh ocean aroma greets you. The scent reminded me of the Polynesian resort at WDW. Everything was clean and brand new! The beds slept amazingly well and the kitchenette was so nice to have during our three day stay.
Breakfast is complimentary—waffles with all the toppings you could want, sausage, omelets, cereal and oatmeal. Coffee served all day, which was a win! Overall, a ten out of ten. We will definitely be staying here again if we come back to PCity.

The front desk ladies were absolutely wonderful! They told us about the discount for the restaurant next door if we showed our room key, so we went for dinner! |7.21km from city centerMy wife and I had a great visit. We were going to stay 1 night as we were done with work in the area. Thought it'd be nice to have a balcony room looking over the beach. Well, it was better than great so we stayed another night. Beach was clean, safe and the water was warm. Softest sand. Parking garage was easy to find and secure. 2nd floor of parking garage is where you enter walk way above road and then take elevator to lobby. Easy and safe. I had called to make reservation and that was as friendly and smooth as can be. Lobby was clean and inviting, atmosphere was full of life. Checking in was so easy and friendly. Has a bar on site, serves food which I might add was delicious. We had the chicken parmesan. Highly recommend eating there. Beer was cold of course. We slept in both mornings and didn't experience the breakfast, which I was told by other couples we met there was great also. Location is close to stores and restaurants. We want to personally thank, Tony, Tiffany, Mel and Mandy for above and beyond customer service. Always helpful, smiling, full of life and professional. They certainly put the customer first and never did I hear ”no, can't, don't or won't.” Whatever it was they always came through. I did meet the cooks from the kitchen and they were so friendly and full of life as the above mentioned were. Room was clean and neat all around. We will be back of course but this time for a few days or more. Again Thank you for an outstanding visit to your location and the best hospitality I've experienced in a long time. Certainly a must stay when you're in the area.

We stayed in unit 523 ,on the 22nd through 26th of Sept. 2022, there was an elevator just steps from our door and made it very convenient for my wife and Me to get to the pool “exited right by pool entrance and very close to beach access. There was a hot breakfast every morning , eggs, pancakes , and biscuits and gravy, which was very nice. All the staff we encountered were very courteous and friendly. They had activities for kids and adults at the pool area. Housekeeping was provided every day, they were very friendly. There was a daily extra resort fee of about $15.00 we had to pay upon arrival. Overall The Days Inn at PCB was a Great a stay. Would book again.

The pools were clean. Only negative was having to rent a lounge chair to tan on the sand but they did have nice ones at the pools. Tiki bar great for lunch and drinks. It was a great vacation.

Nice pool and/or bathtub-temp ocean 50yards further south - take your pick! Rooms were great, guest laundry a nice asset, and staff very helpful. The only fault was being charged 3 nights when we only stayed 2, and it did take us 2 long-distance phone calls and some very direct conversation to get the refund on our card, but it did come through.... 2 weeks later. That's careless. Watch the billing. Otherwise....great place and yes we would return.

|1.17km from city centerThe outside appearance of the hotel is terrible. The staff on this particular day had no ID badges and were very rude not to just me but other customers. Check in time was 3 p.m. We checked in at 4 p.m. and the room wasn't ready. So we waited for an hour. The ice machines on each floor were broken and the safety railing on each floor were rusty and needing paint. The outside of the hotel had paint peeling off of it. Now lets talk about the rooms. The carpet was frayed. There were dead bugs in the pictures. The accessories in the room including the lamps and the luggage rack were rusty. The furniture was in terrible shape and some of it should of been thrown out. The electrical outlet that the wall A/C was plugged into was not in the wall but laying on the floor without a wall plated attached to it. Big safety hazard. The room had been repainted but it looked as though a child had painted it. Never will I stay here again. Pictures were taken and I have filed a complaint with Wyndham. Wish there was a place on here to upload them. I'm also going to file a complaint with the local Better Business Bureau. Called Wyndham Customer Care while there and tried to get this reservation cancelled but I couldn't since I had already signed in. We tried looking for another hotel/motel in the area but all were booked up. This is the only reason we stayed. We left at 4 a.m. the next morning.

I booked through trip.com and had already paid for the hotel service fee which is $98 for 2 nights. After showing them the itemized receipt, they said it is the 3rd party service fee, not the hotel service fee. I told them I’m not paying another service fee. I’m glad I did not have to pay twice, but it was kind of ruin my day. Now there is another extra charge on my credit card placed by the hotel. I am in the process of disputing with my credit card. Overall, I like the place, but not the way they tried to charge for all these hidden or bogus fees. Note: the hotel is already expensive…
