This hotel is surprisingly good. This Swiss tour is absolutely bright. Over a hundred years of history, celebrity politicians and famous Chaplin have stayed. The location is particularly good, the lake, the window can be seen the famous big fork, very close to the food museum, 8-10 minutes walk from Vevey train station, no need to take a taxi, there is a magical 201 road on the way to the road, with the hotel Free travellers can go to Xiyong Castle, most funi and go to the train station; the hotel decoration is particularly simple and elegant; the waiter is very warm and patient, answer all questions, English is also very good, this is in the bus station Vevey in French is especially rare; the room is provided with slippers, toiletries and a toothbrush with my name. It is very pleasant to surprise. There is also free bottled water and snacks in the room. The breakfast must be chosen. It is really a five-star breakfast. Plate and quality, in short, a very satisfied one night, beyond the expected experience

This is the most expensive one of the 19-night hotel stays in Switzerland. More than 2,500 including two breakfasts. You must pay a city tax of 12CHF when checking out. It is a corner room at the back. The bathroom is relatively spacious and the room is not very large. There are two windows, one facing the fork and the other facing the bell tower and the mountains. Just by the lake, there is a bus from the train station directly to the back door of the hotel. The decoration is really luxurious, and the service is very good. I also checked in directly after arriving early, and specially brought the luggage to the room. The guide also introduced us to the location of the bar, swimming pool, salon, indoor and outdoor restaurants. The service time with three meals before sending people to the room ... The reception room has welcome chocolates which are delicious. In the afternoon, the housekeeper will send a fruit + handwritten welcome card to the room! Hair dryers, slippers, shampoo, etc. are available. There are actually two sets of large towels, and bathrobes. Safes, electric kettles, cups, coffee and tea bags are hidden in the closet. There were two glass bottles + two goblets on the table. I didn't know whether it was water or wine (origins were France and Italy), so we didn't dare to drink. In addition, the hotel sent two tickets to Xiyong Castle to visit the cruise ship, but we have already used the pass to play so it is a waste. Breakfast anyway, Western food is just that, but the fruit in this house is of good quality and there are many parking lots. It's close to Vevery Pier, Nestle Food Museum and Big Fork, just a few minutes walk.

We booked via Booking.com but the room allocated seemed much smaller that the picture on the website and was more like the smaller cheaper room type that we had avoided. That it was only prepared for one person with one set of towels rather than for two people says it all - so my first advice is make sure you get the room that you booked and beware of the website photos which are misleading! We spoke to reception who agreed to change the room for an additional CHF30 (just over £20) to a room with a large terrace overlooking the lake and mountains. this was a much larger room with a brilliant bathroom and plenty of space (compared to the originally allocated room which overlooked roof tiles and seemed like a prison cell by comparison! The original room was in the annex - don't go there and insist on a room in the main hotel which are much nicer. We cannot complain about the attitude of the hotel reception staff who were very helpful and sorted the problem out in a friendly manner so we would stay here again but would book a room similar to that in which we ended up. Breakfast was very good with good service. A bus service passes close by every half hour so you can be in Vevey in ten minutes where there are many restaurants and good bars and the hotel prices are much more competitive than in central Vevey or nearby Montreux, particularly with breakfast included, which it was. A lovely spot in a small hillside village with beautiful views over Lake Geneva and good communication links - we enjoyed the stay.

The hotel is very good, it is the most cost-effective hotel I have stayed in in Switzerland! Really great value for money! The rooms are large and clean, and the facilities in the rooms are very new! The traffic is very convenient, just beside the train station, but not at all!

Room is compact, so you have to take turns moving around. Loved the warmed tile floor in the bathroom. Very close to lakeshore and weekly market. About 5 to 6 minute walk from train. Great shopping around and dining choices. Breakfast buffet had fabulous croissants. Very good coffee came was freshly brewed, came to the table in a pot with another pot of hot milk. We don’t give this a “5” because of the noise....lots of human traffic in the street well past midnight (it was a Tuesday) and at 10pm our next door neighbours, about four people, sounded like they were in our room....having a great visit....not drunk, not arguing...just noisy. I mentioned this in the morning as we were checking out, to be told ten pm “was not late”. So it’s a “4”!

Very nice, good location, right in the heart of the city, big rooms and full facilities. Most importantly, there are slippers, there are slippers, there are slippers! !! Throughout the trip, there were 11 hotels in the three countries, and they had slippers lol, which is very important. It's close to the train station. We left the train 10 minutes before leaving. We went out, checked out, dragged our luggage to the platform, and waited 5 minutes for the train to arrive. Anyway, highly recommended

The hotel is on the main square in Vevey so very central. We came during the Fetes Des Vignerons a once every 20 year festival. The Place du Marche was dominated by a 20,000 seat temporary stadium but that is why we booked the hotel to be near the festival. Sadly the hotel prices rose from CHF 160 to CHF 600 which is outrageous. The Patron did give us a CHF 50 discount per night. We had a 'suite’ number 17 that looked out on the place du marche. The double glazing was good as the parties went on sometimes until 4am. The curtains are a bit thin so bring eyeshades if you need them. Putting the price to one side the room was adequate with some seating space and a small but usable shower (no bath). The restaurant downstairs did an average breakfast but you would do better going next door to the patisserie. Dinner on the other hand was better than I expected with a good rognon de veau. They needed far more staff than they has as the service was slow but given the hundreds of customers they did a good job. Very friendly staff and were it not for the fetes they would have scored higher. Well worth a stay when it isn't so crazy.

The hotel is very close to the Vevey train station, a five-minute walk, and it feels not part of the main street, so it is quite clean. Check-in and check-out can be done by computer self-service, so even if you need to check out very early, there is no problem. The kitchen utensils are all Joseph Joseph's, and they also offer oil, salt and pepper. It's also convenient to make simple dishes yourself. The bathroom has a clothes rail with a drying function, like. Overall, I am very satisfied, if I have a chance to go next time, I will still choose it!

Fleurs De Zermatt is a very nice hotel with very high tech and mountain motiff rooms. Plenty of storage and lighting was motion activated. Great bathrooms with heated floor and large bathtub. Bath robes too...comfy beds and wonderful buffet breakfast each day. This hotel is very quiet and close to train station - but far enough away so it was very quiet...staff is very friendly and helpful. This hotel is CLEAN! No drinks or food except water and an espresso maker in the room. We liked that unique rule, the rooms are very clean and finishes very nice. Hotel not over crowded, perfect for couples...not a lot of kids which was very nice. Booked through our great travel agent, Vapiano Travel...check them out.

The overall quality of Swiss hotels is really high, with details in place everywhere. The same is true of this hotel. The handsome guy at the front desk is really super enthusiastic. He will say hello every time he meets, and explain how to play the Matterhorn route when he checks in. The breakfast husband said that it was the fullest day in Europe. There are boiled eggs and fried eggs. Fried eggs are not salty and rare, and there are small cakes. This salmon is super fresh and has a lot of fruit. The best thing is that the juice is freshly squeezed, squeezed by yourself, and there is a special machine for pressing fruits. The room was clean, the bed was large and comfortable. The balcony is also nice and you can see the street view. By the way, there are minibars in the room, all of them are free. This is awesome. There are beer and various drinks in it. Seems like 6 bottles. The coffee in the coffee machine is also very good, but I didn't drink it. The hotel has a free mini bus, the front desk said it would take us, but it was useless and I wanted to go around by myself. Very pleasant stay, recommend everyone. The price is not cheap or expensive, around 1500 a night.

Had to transfer unexpectedly from Sunstar Saas Fee to Zermatt. While I am grateful for the transfer they arranged, I must say there seems to be big differences between Sunstar properties. The location in Zermatt is very convenient. Short walk to town or to Sunnega lift station, and there’s a bus stop just outside the ski room to get to the Matterhorn lifts. The ski room is fine but does not have individual storage for guests. The restaurant was only open for breakfast. The buffet was fine, though a notch down from the one in Saas Fee in terms of offering. I did find the room quite small and rather interesting configuration. Obviously, the sight in Zermatt is Matterhorn. The bed is arranged so you get a direct view of the Matterhorn. This results in decent amount of “dead space” in the room that is small to begin with. The shower and the sink are in the room, so if you are used to having bathroom privacy… In my friends’ room the toilet was right behind the headboard of the bed. Apparently not lot of noise insulation. I would note I woke up both mornings earlier than planned when the next-door room turned on the shower. As a single traveler the room was fine for few nights. I would think that two people with all the ski gear it may start feeling quite tight. I have stayed at numerous other four-star properties in Zermatt over the years. I just don’t think Sunstar measures up.

We just came back from our first Switzerland ski trip. This hotel is centrally situated on the bus route. A 5-min walk to bus if you want to go to Matterhorn side, and 10-15 min walk to the cog rail/lift if you want ski Rothorn. Also it is a 5-10 min walk to the center of the village and the train station. We love the location because it is close to everything but quiet at night. Rooms are clean and new. Breakfast buffet is awesome! You have to try the restaurant in the first floor. Their “flame” cooking in front of you is really a cool experience. They have a lot of chocolate for their guests as well - decent Swiss chocolate! The wellness center which has jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna which is a must-go after a long day ski. If we ever go back to Zermatt, we will definitely stay at this hotel again. We left our luggage at the hotel on the day of leaving, and my husband was still skiing one hour before the train departed. That sounded crazy but the ski rental store (Matterhorn Sports) right across the hotel was so efficient and made this happen.

Hotel is very conveniently located, just about 150 meters from the Zermatt train station, and the Gornegrat station. It is right on the main street, close to ***y shops and restaurants. Coop supermarket is available in the mall opposite the train station. Room size is not large, but adequate, and beds are quite comfortable. Amenities like toothbrush, toothpaste and water flask are not provided, but slippers and mineral waters are available. Restaurant at the ground floor is quite well decorated. Breakfast has adequate varieties, but should not expect the same as the hotels in mainland China. Special compliment to a the elderly gentlemen at the reception, who was very kind and friendly during the stay, and personally led me to find the Chinese restaurant just nearby, and even show the way to taking the Glacier Express train.

The family room we stayed in was very good. We could also cook, have more balconies, and enjoy the cool and scenic view. The hotel is very close to the train station, but the location is very quiet, there is a supermarket diagonally opposite, shopping is convenient. The owner of the hotel is warm and generous. There is a large bowl of apples at the front desk. Guests can take it at will and watch our 4 adults bring a baby. They are afraid of being squeezed and send us a room for free. The hotel’s own thermal pool and sauna are also great, and the pool is also a bubble bath.
