Chose to stay here when on business after checking reviews and very glad I did! The bar/restaurant area is very nicely laid out and presented, as was the room which was nicely decorated with all the facilities required; modern and bright but with a cosy feel. The food was superb; good choice, generous, fresh and great value with homemade touches. The staff were smart and professional, but also very friendly and accommodating. Overall a really pleasant and refreshing balance for a travelling worker. I will be coming back and will recommend to colleagues!

Used the place for lunch today. WOW... decor hasn't changed since the last time I was there... some 20 years ago. Very well worn carpets and furniture BUT it has a sort of an old world charm about it. Staff very 'relaxed' !! and a long wait at the bar to be served. An OK choice of drinks and reasonably priced. This is a very popular place for the lunchtime (daily) carvery... absolutely packed as day trip buses stop right outside as well so the place is always full. WARNING. This place is a good few hundred years old and the flooring inside and the various steps inside are positively lethal if you're not careful as they slant at some odd angles... you must be certain to look closely where you're trading as otherwise you can go flying... as one elderly lady did when I was there... thankfully all she got was a very big shock but she could have done some real damage to herself... she was quite lucky not to... watch your step here... however, for a short visit for a lunch it was ok with a good sized meal at a reasonable price.

Recently stayed for a night and am so glad that I chose this hotel. On arrival I was warmly welcomed and advised that as I was leaving before the normal breakfast hours I would be provided with a breakfast to take away which was very considerate. I was offered either a room with a bath or just a shower, having been on my feet all day and driving for three hours I plumped for the bath and am delighted that I did. The bathroom was beautiful with plenty of hot water for my aching muscles! The bedroom was absolutely superb, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. I can honestly say that it was the best nights sleep I've had in months, the bed was super comfy and the temperature in the room was just right. You've probably guessed by now that I cannot find one negative thing to say about my stay, in fact I enjoyed it so much I'm staying there again next week for three nights when I'm working in the surrounding area again, hopefully I'll get to have the breakfast at least twice at the hotel this time - if the packed one was anything to go by I'm in for a treat! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel, excellent value for an excellent product.

Visited this Hotel on the 14/1/20 for a family meeting over breakfast and coffee. The food and service were excellent, but unknown to me I did not realise that my vehicle details were suppose to be given at reception. There are signs there to indicate this. Due the fact the weather for atrocious that morning, so we rushed in past the reception to the lounge area without seeing the signs. Anyway I received a parking ticket through my own fault. As a result I revisited the Hotel and explained what had happened. Without any hesitation they contacted the Camera company and got them to drop the £60 fine because I was a customer. I was very greatful to them for being considerate. Nice to see common sense sometimes!

We stayed here as a couple for the weekend. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by Sion and Sandra. We stayed in the double room which was modern and very clean. Sion and Sandra went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our weekend. All the locals were also lovley and the pub had a lovley atmosphere. The breakfasts cooked by Sandra were yummy. Thank you for a lovley weekend, we will be recommending you to everyone, so don't be surprised if you get a few more mad scourers visiting lol.

The Hilton brand is going downhill, and has lived in countless Hiltons from home and abroad. Every time you come to the United Kingdom, there is always a city that will arrange to stay in Hilton. Each time it ends in disappointment. 1, location, directly opposite the Scotsman Hotel, the spiral staircase next to the Scotsman Hotel can lead to the train station. If there is a large luggage, it is recommended to go out at Plantform Exit 1, there are lifts and escalators, and exit to the right Walk and turn right again for two hundred meters. A 10-minute walk from Royal mile, Edinburgh Castle, and Whisky Experience Center, these three are together! About 12 minutes walk from Calton Hill, which is different from the three attractions above 2. The housekeeping was just rubbish. On the first day of arrival, there was no mineral water in our two rooms, and the two rooms were not the same size. The one we lived in was very small. Shower gels and shampoos have obviously been used, but they have not been replaced! !! !! 3. The hotel design has serious problems. Please arrange a room for -3. We must first take the stairs to the second floor, then cross the other two third-level stairs, and then take the elevator down to -3. Rao's head is dizzy and the box Not easy to mention ~

The hotel rooms are very nice, the retro feel and the design is very good. It is recommended to come to Edinburgh, you can try it. The service is also very good, the front desk staff are very warm and there is a grandfather wearing a Scottish skirt. Very enthusiastic and also voluntarily said that you can take a photo and take the initiative to take the box. It was raining when we stayed, and we went to the front desk and borrowed an umbrella~ Book in Ctrip in advance, just say your last name. Quick search~ When I booked, I just started to watch more than 1,000. The second time I saw it was more than 600, and the price rose very scary. The restaurant is also very nice, but there is nothing to eat in order to catch the trip. So if you have time, try it, but put apples and lemonade at the door~

The hotel is located in the old quarter of Edinburgh, "bread street", close to the castle and Princes Street Gardens, and the location is superb. The hotel's own buffet breakfast is not comparable to the domestic breakfast, but it is already very rich in the UK, you can also find a waiter to customize the fried egg and other dishes. The room is really small, if you are with two big boxes, it is estimated that it is difficult to spread both on the ground at the same time. In addition, the bathroom is really small. It is difficult for a Chinese who is not a burly to bathe in the bathroom or the wall. However, hotels in the UK are small rooms. Overall, it is still satisfactory, of course, don't compare it with the domestic Hilton, otherwise you will feel that you have gone wrong.

A total of two rooms and four rooms were booked, and the overall performance in all aspects was very good. The layout of the rooms is reasonable, even the smallest classic room does not feel cramped. In particular, the bathroom has a separate dressing table and a large mirror, which is well received. The location is very good, Edinburgh's main attractions are within 15 minutes of walking (of course, Edinburgh attractions are already very concentrated). The public space is beautiful and elegant, and the service is warm and in place. The only minor problem was that when I checked out on the first trip, I was given a £103.5 bill, a £3.5 mini bar and a £100 reservation for the restaurant (we didn’t open the mini at all, nor booked it. Restaurant), after arguing for some reason, the front desk said that it might be wrong. Although the bill was cancelled, it was inevitable that it was unpleasant and destroyed the perfect experience of the whole stay.

Invincible location, the most lively Royal Mile, is a pedestrian street, full of buskers, acrobatics of the magic of singing the piano, the audience is surrounded by a circle of interaction, the atmosphere is very good. A little bit to the right is Edinburgh Castle. The car has a high level to the front desk, but the suitcase can be lifted. Then ask the front desk, he will give a map, there is a parking lot ten minutes walk, 22 pounds a day. Downstairs is free from 18:30 to 8:30 the next day. The room was clean and there was a kitchen washing machine. The only thing that is not good is that the pedestrian steps outside the window of the room require curtains to be pulled. We live in the capital house, and on the third day we change to a family room and a single apartment, which are located on the second and fifth floors. It may be better to have more than one layer of privacy. The first two are pictures of the family room, and the last two are the capital houses.

The location is super good. It is less than 10 minutes walk to Princes Street opposite the train station and the airport bus is also nearby. Going out through the back door is a royal mile. Overall, it's not bad. The triple room may be a bit small, much smaller than the jury ’s inn I live in Sheffield. Little brother and sister at the front desk are very enthusiastic, luggage can also be stored, can also be stored overnight! !!

The building was formerly the National Bank of Scotland. The front desk is very welcoming. The boys helped me print the tickets for the next day. The girls helped us to store the luggage and the suite with the top floor. This time I booked a room of more than 1800/night. Although it was a duplex of two beds, it still felt a little smaller. The room has a kitchen but it has not been used. Edinburgh is a city with a lot of history. The ups and downs of the terrain and the architectural style of each era have indeed formed a unique beauty. The full moon night is bright and has a mysterious atmosphere. JK Rowling can write Harry Potter here and it is very understandable. Edinburgh's unique black and white tones are unforgettable.

Very good serviced apartment. Close to Edinburgh Castle, our meeting place for the Highland Regiment was at the entrance of the castle and it took less than ten minutes to walk from the hotel. There is a small supermarket downstairs, open until 9 pm. We bought eggs, fruit and vegetable salads and boxed rice for our own dinner and breakfast using the hotel kitchen facilities. There is no breakfast at the hotel, but milk bread, oatmeal, biscuit and juice are provided free of charge. We returned from the highlands and stayed at the hotel for another night, washing a large bag of dirty clothes with the hotel's washing machine and drying them. 1. No breakfast 2. No extra bed 3. Suitable for children but book rooms according to the number of people in the house 4. The hotel location is within 10 minutes walk from the castle and the royal mile, very convenient, but 15 minutes walk from the train station. We dragged two suitcases up and down the stairs twice following the navigation a little hard. In short, it is recommended.

Stayed here for three nights. The location is very good, very close to Calton Hill. The facilities are good, but old pieces of instant noodles were found under the sheets. The bed is not particularly easy to lie down. Refrigerators are used for heat preservation and cannot hold things that require ice. It is worth four stars. The bathroom in the room is not small, the decoration is more delicate, there is no taste, more importantly, the bed and the quilt and the pillow are very comfortable. The place is a little more remote than Gao Street and Prince Street, but the Old Town of Edinburgh is so big, it is only 20 minutes to get to the train station, and it is much quieter than that. Very disappointed with our stay here we were moved rooms as the toilet wasn’t working but it took an hour to move us , the new room was clean and had no dressing gowns , we didn’t realise this till the morning as we were wanting to go straight out . The breakfast took over 20 mins to be served to us and wasn’t very warm The decor of the hotel was very nice and the beds very comfortable , but we were woken up by house keeping at 9 when we complained at reception they said it was because the system hadn’t changed our rooms and house keeping thought it was empty We didn’t get to use the spa as we ran out of time due to breakfast taking so long The hotel did look beautiful but the rooms were a bit of a disappointment

Very friendly staff! The front staff who welcomed us on the day we checked in was extremely friendly and helpful, as was another staff who helped us in the evening to change to another room (the original room had a connecting door to the room next door where some people were having a rather lively party). At present, breakfast is brought to the room (see picture) and guests can select what they would like to have the day before. What we didn't enjoy too much while staying was that the hotel itself felt more like an office building and the room, although clean (apart from the cutlery in the kitchen), was not very cozy and quite cold. We would also like to suggest to allow guests to use the fire stairs as there is only one elevator. We had to wait quite a bit each time we needed to take the elevator (especially during covid times when only one household a time can use it). There's a rather big construction site next door so people who hope to sleep till late might want to ask for a room thats facing the other side.

The location is so great, it is on Prince Street, so we saved the time to visit Prince Street. And the opposite is the train station, for the friends who travel by train, they have to avoid the twists and turns of pulling a lot of luggage. The room is still small, the faucet design of the bathroom is unreasonable, and every time you wash your hands, it will splash out. Hotel service is not bad. But the service at the breakfast restaurant was a bit worse. In order to sit on the window and enjoy the view of the city, we chose to dine at the hotel, but the foreman of the restaurant was not enthusiastic, the breakfast was not rich, the waiters were few, the reception was slow, I didn’t feel it. it is good.

Cost-effective, Ctrip is much cheaper than other homes! Yotel comes from the Japanese capsule brand. In fact, it pays more attention to cost performance than service. This new store in Edinburgh, the hardware is very good, the service is basically nothing, hahaha Attention please! Check out at 11! No one will remind you! This is terrible. 15 pounds an hour later! 15 pounds an hour late! No one reminds! This is too bad! Do not remind in advance that it is illegal in the British Act, and I don't want everyone to quarrel with them to destroy their mood! Pay attention to check out before 11 o'clock! By the way, the location is particularly good, and there is supper next to it!

Checkin was quick but really annoyed hat the hotel’s car park was full and I had to go and park elsewhere costing £5 more that at the hotel. However, the room was very nice and comfortable and the kitchenette came in very useful. We were on the 5th floor and there was a lift. I was also pleased that the room had an air conditioner as the day was hot. The bathroom was also clean and of a high standard. I would recommend this hotel as it’s just off the Royal Mile and about a three minute walk to Holyrood palace. However, be prepared to park about somewhere else though it’s about three minutes away.

It is still easy to find if you are coming from the royal mile, but others such as Niumen Street are difficult to find. You have to climb the stairs and walk around to find the main entrance. It is a bit embarrassing to hold a small package. The front desk to the room is also quite long. Take the elevator up the fifth floor and go a long way to take another elevator down the fourth floor. The back door can go to Niumen Street. The rooms are small by standard. Breakfast was okay, and there seemed to be few reasons to book except one mile from the Royal.

The biggest advantage is that the location is good. Just a few minutes walk from the train station, Prince Street is bustling, commercial street, bus supermarket hotel McDonald's KFC is next to the main attractions, the Royal Botanical Garden is a bus or taxi. Breakfast is classic European style, scrambled eggs, grilled mushrooms, fried potato pieces, tomato juice, soy beans, roasted tomatoes, sausage, bacon, these are suitable for Chinese hot dishes, the elderly at home to eat. There are also a few special flavor foods in Scotland. It is more appropriate to have a hotel breakfast with an elderly child. We stayed for two nights in a triple room, three single beds, the first night gave the room a good view, close to the street, and it was relatively clean. The room that I visited back in the highland tour was a bit smelly. I didn't have a towel and a towel. The window was close to the opposite office building. The hotel may be old, the corridor is very narrow, the smell of the carpet is not fresh enough, and the carpet in the room is also. Win at the location.

The room is on the 2nd floor, but not on the ground floor (see Figure 6). The hotel is built on the hill. The room is large and is ideal for a family holiday. A total of one and a half design, large living room, kitchen, 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms. The entrance is a long corridor with a washroom on the left. There is a small half-story staircase down. It is a room with a separate toilet. The other room is in another corner of the living room. Hotel staff service is very good. However, when we checked in, we told the water heater to be broken, but did not inform the heating that it was not available. It was only a few degrees of weather and the heating was really cold. And the hair dryer has no hot air. The location of the hotel is very good, the train station finds the princess street exit, and it takes about 3 minutes to go straight to the right. The environment is also good, I hope the hotel hardware facilities can keep up!

I must say this is the most desirable hotel I have stayed in three times in Edinburgh! It's very close to the train station. There is no need to climb the stairs after leaving the station. It's very easy to find. Reception is on the seventh floor. Every staff is very friendly. The main thing is that the decoration of the room is really great. The solid wood and warm light are super healing. The provided shampoo conditioner shower gel moisturizer is very good, the hair dryer is dyson, as well as a handheld iron and straight hair stick, it may be noted that the hotel does not provide disposable toothpaste and toothbrush. Breakfast can be ordered on the morning of the day, 15 pounds per person, there are many delicious types, there seems to be afternoon tea. I have booked hotels many times with Ctrip. For the first time, I have lived in this hotel. The idea that I must let more people see the hotel is really good value for me.
