Before booking this place I'd looked up through the reviews of others, thought it was as good as they mentioned but we were fooled. We got the room on 2nd flr, new building, lots of stairs up, same picture as shown on front page of website. Room is new modern style. Water heater doesn't work properly, gets cold after using for awhile. Tv sometimes lost connection. No bar soap given. No privacy at surrounding area. Location is exactly beside the street roads can hear vehicles passing by and next door room childrens and adult talking and calling each other out loud. Coffeehouse Restaurant is available but not buffet style. Just dine in and order frm menu. They don't have any oven or microwave to help u heat up whatever food u've got so u just gotta eat them cold the next morning, if u plan on saving them for breakfast. View from the room not so captivating. U will see nothing once the mist starts building in. And mt kinabalu is behind of the hotel. Overall, so boring.

I contacted Sky, the owner, who promptly answered my requests, organized everything for my stay and also hired a tour around the town. Unfortunately I couldn't meet him but his staff was extremely efficient and friendly and arranged transportation for the next morning. The place is amazing. Nice hotel on the mountains with an incredible view and close to Mount Kinabalu. Clean, tidy comfortable room. They provide washing machine and kitchen so you can cook your own meals, very helpful. I have not enough words to thank Sky and Pyis for such a great time! You made my time in Kundasang memorable. See you next time ;)

The resort not only showcases a variety of rooms but also great-unspoiled view of Mt Kinabalu with it’s forests as well as the valley toward Kundasang. Wayn Zen Rose Cabin Kundasang is an ideal place to spend a vacation. We can easily be reached from Kota Kinabalu, as it is only a 1-½ hour ride through the scenic surrounding and is located on the major highway connecting the East of Sabah to the West. Only 25 minutes to the town of Ranau with it’s shops, restaurants and a golf course. A further 20 minutes and you are at Poring Hot Springs. Where you can soak yourself in a hot bath, watch a variety of rare Stick insects, visit the Butterfly farm or experience the Canopy Walk. On the way to Poring Hot Springs you might be able to see the Rafflesia, the World Largest Flower.

All the rooms at Bayu Senja opens up to a beautiful view of the valley. We stayed at the upper floor, which gave an even better view. On the night of a clear sky, you can even see stars. Although the room is not equipped with an air condition, the cool and fresh mountain air is enough to do the trick. The place is definitely peaceful and quiet, as the nearest restaurant is a 5-10 mins drive away. The roads are quite narrow and dark, so to walk out for food in the dead of night would be quite dangerous. The place is slightly out of the way and if you are driving at night, you might miss the turn off as there are not clear lid signage to indicate the location. The shared kitchen could be better maintained but I guess, it could be the guest(s) who did not picked up after themselves. Another note is that the hot shower, aren't exactly hot and not even close to warm, probably because the water is so cold that the heater is unable to heat the water up properly.

I had very nice and great experience having my short vacation at Nabalu Kundasang Hotel. I really want to give my compliment to this reception/front line boy name Hillarion. Very nice, helpful and he deserve my 5 star rating for his service. From check in to my food, everything was properly and clearly brief by this staff Hillarion. Good job and keep it up for your front line staff. I cant give my full star to f&b section. Its upset me a bit but still im satisfied with overall. Price was reasonable, food just okay and some are delicious. You should give more training to f&b staff about the 5S and customer service job scope. I dont like everytime i ask for something like fork, extra drink with charges and etc they seems dont like guest request, and give unhappy face.not all of them just few.so i give f&b dept for 3.9 star only. Room was very nice, clean. Me & family have a great sleep for our stay. We love it!

I will not state my review based on view or location since other reviewers have touched. Diving down straight to the facts as follows: Value for $: Excellent and all budget travelers can indeed have the basics at an affordable pricing. Mattress and pillows: Good and comfortable. Duvet and sheets are old but clean. Towels are old as well but I should they are clean. Electrical appliances: Overall very bad condition from the water heater, kettle, plug points and LCD tv from early 2k era. TV Channel avail is pathetic. Overall lighting is good though, especially for ladies who need to apply make up. Room bell wasn’t working as well. Don’t expect for wifi either which is considered a necessity like electricity. Washroom: Not up to the standard at all. Leaking and moldy. Point of view: The management should command higher ARR (average room rate) and invest those funds to make the facilities match the amazing view this resort command. Thank you folks.

Clean, comfortable accommodation It was easy to book (over the phone) and a great price in comparison to other limited house accommodations. Check in was also easy. Be sure to comply with their health checks and form to fill. Welcome to the new normal. The Holiday House was clean, spacious and all we needed to rest. It has 3 bedrooms. Each bedroom has 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. So, in all the house can fit in 9 persons at a time. The Living room comfortable wooden sofas type chairs with TV with Astro subscription. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes, glasses, kettle, etc. There was a microwave. We had an awesome time cooking our own dishes. Basic soaps and shampoos and toilet rolls were prepared. This type of thing doesn't matter to me as I bring my own toiletries but as some other motels provide these things, you might be expecting it. It was very cold in the area; luckily we brought thick jackets along. I would definitely stay there again if needing to stop, revive, survive. Thank you Ayana.

This place very easy to be spotted, just beside the main road, going in is easy, however quite hassle if going out due to traffic and blind spot. The place is nice, beautiful scenery, room is clean, at night is very cold here. No AC/fan in the room needed. Hot shower is ok. No TV cable, however receptionist provides guest with USB drive (filled in with several movies). Phone signal is very bad, unfortunately the wifi also very slow. No breakfast provided. Limited parking space available for guest

I had a great experience in this guesthouse. From the kindness of the staff through the delicious food to its location, everything was superb. The staff genuinely took great care of me and they were helpful and kind at all times. I loved the food a lot, especially the fish and chicken with butter milk sauce. Their veggies and grilled chicken are also a must. It is very near to the Desa dairy farm. The landscape there is amazing (it is true that it looks a lot like New Zealand!) and there are some popular trekkings in the area. Many thanks to the staff for having such a great experience!

***All kinds of hypocritical hotel party tourists are forbidden to enter ***for fear of insects and animals are forbidden*** The first thing to note is that the humidity in the Shenshan Mountain is very high, it can give you heavy fog at every turn, and the animal diversity in the Shenshan is also very high. Due to the various local architectural structures with unique characteristics, many small animals can enter the room. Yes, but most of them will not provoke people except mosquitoes and are mostly harmless. All ratings are relative, after all, there are only a handful of B&Bs that are so close to the mountain near Kundashan Town. As a homestay for climbing the sacred mountain, it is generally very good. The environment is still very comfortable, but the humidity is too high and the sound insulation of the walls is not very satisfactory. The hot water facilities are not as bad as other reviews. They may have been improved. They are cleaned every day, and they are still a little careful about hygiene. Breakfast can be full. It’s just over 1 km to the Shenshan Park Headquarters. If the weather is good, you can see the Shenshan Peak in the lodge. There are dogs, but they are relatives. As long as they know you, they will not be fierce. One night, there was no street light in the darkness. Walking back to the room from the Borneo Hotel far away, it was quite warm when the dog came out to lead the way at the entrance of the lodge. The mountain is really quite sensible.

We booked two rooms with mountain views. In fact, the rooms are not right on the mountain. You can see the sunrise when you see the coast. Afraid of noise, do not live on the seventh floor on the top floor, because there are so many birds. There is also a mountain view room chair that can help you open an extra bed for free, suitable for two large and small families. We spent two days in the hotel. One of them ate dinner at a Chinese restaurant. The two big and two small eateries ate almost five hundred, including 7RMB per person. But this mixed mushroom tofu is not good, maybe seafood tofu will be delicious.

The hotel location is really good, diagonally opposite KFC, close to the Seafood Night Market and Kota Kinabalu Central Market. It is within 10-15 minutes walk ~ Go to the online red punch shop on Gaya Street, Xinji, Youji, etc. are very close, walk about two or three small intersections (we take the children slowly, just 10 minutes). We arrived at the hotel around four in the morning with the children. The front desk was very kind to arrange for us to temporarily rest in the sofa area of the restaurant next to the lobby, but we could n’t rest after the restaurant opened at six o’clock. Try to arrange a room for 10 We, then we went out to eat a Yo Kee at 6 o'clock to visit a seafood market, and arranged a room for us at 7 o'clock! This is very surprising! The experience is great👍🏻

Five-star hotels in Malaysia are much cheaper than domestic, but a little lower than domestic. I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with breakfast. Generally speaking, I was satisfied with the breakfast. The breakfast was rich and the bed pillows were comfortable. There was no window. I was not used to open the air conditioner. I liked to open the window to ventilate. The cleaning of the hotel was a bit sloppy. I will forget to give shampoo, there is no toothbrush and toothpaste, and there will be some hair on the ground, but it must not be dirty! The location is very convenient to take a taxi. The back of the hotel is Dae Lai and Zhiwei, Watsons, and a convenience store. The hotel has a Chinese speaking front desk.

The hotel is not in the most prosperous location in the city of Kota Kinabalu, but it is very close, so it is quiet and quiet. You can walk to the durian market under the overpass and Gaya Street for more than ten minutes. The hotel is not big but clean and tidy. Towels ca n’t be taken outside the hotel. Towels can be rented from the swimming pool, which is a little inconvenient. Check-in and check-out at the hotel front desk were very fast, I did not see any Chinese-speaking staff. The room where I stayed could see a little sea view. The hotel's breakfast room had a good sea view. After checking in on the first day, due to the second day of departure to go to the round island, the departure time was 7 am. However, the hotel's breakfast is served from 6 o'clock. We did not agree to the requirement of packed breakfast. We went for breakfast at 6 o'clock and ate a little. However, the hotel's breakfast is very hearty. Fortunately, we stayed for two nights and then tasted the hotel's breakfast. It was really not worse than a five-star hotel, and there were many types that were changed every day. The room was spacious and nice. It is a relatively cost-effective hotel, and the location is also very good. This hotel is closest to the departure pier to the round island, so we were picked up in the end and it was not in a hurry. Five star international hotel chain, really good! Breakfast is a little simpler than the resort. We go to more than 9 o'clock for a lot of basic dishes, and many of them have not added ingredients again; the only outdoor leisure place in the city center hotel should be the outdoor pool, unlike the resort can enjoy beach lounge chairs; hotels The decoration is relatively new, clean and sanitary, and the facilities are first-class; during the fire alarm, the fire horn in the room called the alarm, but the first time I heard it, I did n’t understand the English pronunciation. It reads FIRE. It ’s understood that it ’s a fire alarm. Many people took the stairs and ran to the lobby. It was found to be a false alarm. Every guest from the hotel customer service returned to explain. This security process is still possible; Ventilation is entirely based on air conditioning. This is not in line with our Chinese habits. We still like windows that can be opened, even if it is a small slit, otherwise it feels closed. The hotel is out of the downtown area, and there is a lot of food to eat. .

The Dream Hotel is close to Kota Kinabalu City Hall and Gaya Street. There is a lively night market on weekends (Friday and Saturday). Various Chinese, Malay and Indian cuisines are on display at the same time. The hotel we chose was a standard room with windows. It was well-equipped and clean. It was cleaned twice a day. After a long struggle between his family and Shangri-La, he finally chose his family. First, because the price / performance ratio is higher than that of Shangri-La, most of the hotels in Malaysia have vintages, which are incomparable with the same-star hotels in China, and the facilities are relatively old. The second reason is that there are more Koreans here, but Korean travel time is exactly the same as that of Chinese holidays, so he chose his home with the idea of giving it a try. The hotel's external facilities are not mentioned, it is really good, but think that the cushions of the beach chair can be taken directly? Don't understand what is the use of such a thick cushion? It is better to spread the towels on the beach chair directly. In contrast, the breakfast category feels less, but it is still full. The most important point is that the service attitude is very good, because I ca n’t find the TV remote control, so I called the waiter to enter the room to help find them. They came into the house barefoot. This is very admirable. I recommend everyone to stay in this hotel. high

Stayed for three nights, the facilities are not as good as home in China, the room space is small, I was a bit disappointed after checking in. I originally planned to change to a better one, but because I was too tired and I did n’t have the energy to toss, I would live there for three days Come, I feel, the location is really good, it is more convenient to go everywhere, there are shopping malls next to it, shopping is very convenient, the currency exchange point is also next to it, the luggage at the lobby is very warm and thoughtful, the first impression is good, the room is basically suitable for rest Available, bath is also good, although the space is small, but go out to play during the day, not always stay at the hotel, breakfast can be eaten on the terrace, it feels great, the taste of the meal is also OK, luxury can not be talked about, but everything The taste is very delicious, with white porridge, Let ’s talk about their front desk. It ’s serious. The child accidentally broke a glass glass in the room. I called the front desk to ask how much compensation I needed, and borrowed their broom to clean up the broken glass. She told it in a positive and strong tone. I have to go downstairs to the front desk to pay RM50. My husband and I said that it was me that I heard wrong, it should be 15. It took 50 yuan to the lobby without change, and three people were there. I asked Is it RM15? They definitely say 50, tone, eyes, extremely tough and impolite. It is estimated that I do n’t speak English well. I told them that a small glass of fifty is too expensive. They look like this. In a hurry, I blurted out a Chinese sentence and asked them if they could speak Chinese. (It was only fixed when I saw someone who spoke Chinese at the front desk.) They immediately emphasized to me. Speak English! And ask me, didn't I speak English on the phone just now? I was helpless, I gave 50, and communicated that they sent someone to the room to clean the broken glass, clean the broken glass! When I returned to the room, I saw a barman sweeping, and I did n’t look good, I confirmed again How much does a glass cost? He said that he did n’t know. Let me ask the front desk, and then told me it was 50 yuan. We had to consider ourselves unlucky. After processing the broken glass, I asked Mr. to find their service manual. On the desk, the first page said, water glass cup MYR10! I immediately contacted Ctrip and reflected this matter. Ctrip told me that he helped me deal with it immediately. It was very efficient. Please reply to me in a few minutes. MYR 40 back. I went down to the front desk and said nothing. The woman smirked and handed me RM40, and told me that I thought the card was damaged. The card was RM50. I said coldly to her. You said it was a glass glass. What a mess with me, I still talked about cleaning the broken glass. How could I think it was a room card, and I couldn't connect it! I am very touched and thank the customer service of Ctrip's hotel after sales! Every time I travel through Ctrip, I feel at ease. I will continue to choose Ctrip in the future, but after this incident, the impression of Malaysia began to become not so good, and saw some evil people there. Okay, that's it. In addition, if English is not good, there will be a little discrimination here, but I think their mother tongue is English, our mother tongue is Chinese, and it is not good for us to speak English, so as a staff who welcomes tourists from all over the world, there are Capable, tell us how to try Chinese?

Kota Kinabalu City Center
I was assigned to room 316 at level 3.i think i was upgraded to another type of room because the room is spacious, consist of 1 queen size bed and 1 single bed. I was lucky because of this RMCO, no shops operating after midnight and the defeaning sound slowly faded by that time. Double glazing window will be needed as the noisy sound from the road can be heard very clear. A bit unpleasant smell in the bathroom which i think it must be from the drainage and found yellowish water on the toilet bowl. Location wise, just walking distance to Suria Sabah and just next door to convenience store as well as restaurants. Staff very impressive and polite!

advantage: 1. There is a private beach. 2. The room can cook, and the kitchenware is complete. 3. The room is large, two bathrooms, and a hall. 4. The staff are very friendly, the front desk cannot speak Chinese, and the driver has a little brother who can speak English. Disadvantages: 1. It is too far away from the urban area. The taxi from the airport to the hotel Grab 50mp, back to the urban area 63mp, unless you have stayed in the hotel for a while, you can stay. 2. There is no supermarket near the hotel. There is only a small shop in the hotel. It is a few simple things to sell. It is particularly expensive. It is about 4-5 times the normal price. I remember that a bag of instant noodles is 25mp. Bring some snacks or meals. 3. There are a lot of ants in the dining table of the hotel restaurant. People with obsessive-compulsive disorder change several tables. The restaurant's things are also very expensive and not tasty. 4. The price of the hotel is very large. I recommend comparing the major platforms and rebooking. The price of my initial order is one-third different from the current price, and it is about 500 yuan more for two nights. Finally, I agreed to re-order with the hotel. . 5. The hotel is a suburb. Apart from swimming in the pool, it is not fun to stroll down the beach in the afternoon, so it is recommended to book a maximum of two nights. I have been boring for three nights! 6. There is no Wifi except in the villa area, which leads to the exhaustion of mobile phone traffic and can only be dazed. The signal is particularly poor.
