The hotel is ideally located near the sibulan airport in dumaguete with only 3 to 5 minutes travel time. Its also just a few steps away from the City Mall, a major shopping center in dumaguete. They also offer free pick up from or to the airport, you just have to inform them about your flight details. The room is very cozy especially the sheets. No weird odour unlike in other cheap hotels. The aircon is functioning well, the TV has a cable connection, the CR has a bidet and the shower has a heater. The wifi is really fast. The staff was very accomodating and helpful. They also allow you to store food in their refrigerator. Definitely recommended

Firstly, even though it's not in the centre of the town, you can commute anywhere with a tricycle that is readily available anywhere for just 10 pesos. But you can walk around as the town is pretty small. The staffs were very helpful 👍👍 Kevin and Gorlane did their best to accomodate me even let me check out late without charge because my flight is at 650 pm. The breakfast was enough for me as I'm not really choosy. I stayed in 4-bed dorm and it has plenty of space and has private locker for your stuff. They have common area where you can hang out with other travellers. Personally, I would come back here again if I'm coming back to Dumaguete!

The owner of Sunshine Villa is Chinese. 1 also provides travel consulting services. It is cheaper than a certain treasure to sign up for a day trip. 2Hotel provides free airport shuttle, but be sure to add the boss WeChat in advance, only 5 minutes away from the airport, it should be the closest homestay at Duma Airport 3. I bought seafood for a meal and saved money. The boss thought very carefully and there was a place to dry clothes. 3, It is only a few minutes away from Sibulan Pier in West Bran, and not far from Duma Pier. 4, the room looks better than the photos, but also more spacious. Simple IKEA style decoration is not cumbersome. The bedding is made of cotton, which is more comfortable. There is hot water for drinking on each floor, and a 24-hour hot water bath. There is a hair dryer in each room. For my physique that is afraid of cold, these are all very comfortable. Many in the Philippines Many of these hotels are not Will stay here again next time.

The interior decoration of the room is the same as the picture. It is colorful, colorful and special. The price is there, so it is not very luxurious, but as a transition, the public areas are beautiful. It is comfortable to sit quietly at night. Outside It ’s not busy, but you can still get a tutu. We asked the front desk to order a chartered car to go to oslob to see the whale shark and go to Sumilon Island. Six people are an 11-seater air-conditioned car. Others do not include a total of 8000p, because it is much cheaper than Taobao, so there is no counteroffer when you are excited. You can try to pay the price. In fact, it is not far to see the whale shark from Duma.

I got "stuck" in the Philippines due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This was a good place to stay. Clean, great pool. The ladies working here are very service oriented. This is better than the regular hotels in Dumaguete. Close to restaurants and stores!

It’s a beautiful home renovated to meet the needs of today’s practical travellers. The house is located along Hibbard road, perpendicular to the famous seafood restaurant Lantaw and a 5-minute walk to Harold’s dive center. You will be greeted by Jeza, a cheerful front desk who lipreads perfectly you will hardly notice she is deaf. Casa Arrieta caters to minimal number of guests so sharing of comfort rooms and showers won’t be a problem. You can read from a selection of books or, like us, master the Philippine game sungka (mancala). They have everything you need — laundry area, kitchenette, ref, utensils — with free coffee and sylvanas to welcome your sweet stay. The owners are lovely — the mother and daughter tandem will make you feel comfortable. If you need to find a place that is Dumaguete, then Casa Arrieta is the perfect home you are looking for.

We stayed 3 nights For 3000php inclusive of tax and other fees the election weekend. We were 2 adults and one child sharing the small room of 2 single beds with Cable TV, huge closet, functioning aircon and a small Toilet and bath with shower (water pressure is so so). The shower area does not drain properly and I Think there is a problem With how the floor is inclined. The shower water pooled on one side. The hostel does not clean the room Unless you would request it. There is no elevator. We stayed in the 4th floor. This is a hostel So do not expect much. However, if you just need a place to rest after a whole day of seeing sights then this is a real Deal. The place is walking distance To a hospital, a supermarket dept store, and Silliman University. The hostel Staff are able To Assist you. In the Same building there a small Restaurant that is open 6am To 11pm.

This is our second time to stay at Hotel Essencia. We stayed again in this hotel because of its very accessible location. It has also a free shuttle from the airport though you they charge a minimal amount ( P 500.00 for 5 persons ) from the hotel to the airport. Another thing that we really like in this hotel is their food. They serve quality, tasty food for breakfast, lunch, dinner and even for snacks. We enjoyed their breakfast ! The service crews are attentive to our needs and they are efficient. Even the receptionists are very willing to help us in our inquiries about the interesting, tourist places nearby. Since the hotel is located on the main road, noise is expected. But other than that, we are very satisfied with the hotel. We also saw many tourists in the hotel even during our first stay. There are many Koreans, Chinese, Japanese tourists staying in the hotel. Most of them are in groups. We will definitely stay again in Hotel Essencia . Grace Bacasmas

The title sums up the only good thing about this hotel. Have you heard that expression "the camera never lies"..?? Well it does in the case of this hotel. The photos of the hotel are very complimentary to say the least. The entrance is through an alleyway nestled between a convenience store and a beauty salon The rooms are quite small. I was first given a double room with the aircon 2 feet from my bed, blasting my head with air colder than an antartic blizzard. I complained and was given a twin room with a better positioned aircon unit. It was still very noisy though. I started itching during the first night. Next day I told reception and they got housekeeping to fumigate my room whilst I was out. The toilet flush was absolutely useless. It only let out about 50 ml per flush. There's a Phillpines wide advisory of not flushing tissues down the toilet, you're supposed to lob used tissues into the adjacent bin. Absolutely disgusting and smelly practice. Anyway, by now I'd given up complaining and decided to enjoy my holiday in the city. There's no hotel restaurant, just a 24/7 shop in the entrance called 7Eleven. Here you can buy hot and cold drinks, snacks etc. Some tables & benches also there. The alleyway mentioned above has an unusual alternative use. From lunchtime till late evening it becomes a "sitting down massage area". The masseuse/masseurs are all blind. I had a massage from them once. It's very humbling to see them working and also very empowering for them too I'm sure. God bless them all. Thanks to the cheap but very noisy and polluting tricycles, you can get to anyway in Dumaguete for max 20 pesos. The airport from the hotel is 120 though. It depends what you're after really. If you're a young backpacking hostel sharing bohemian type, then this hotel would feel salubrious to you. But if you're an older more discerning traveller who likes some home cimforts, then I'd advise you to avoid this place.

Breakfast 6 to 10 o'clock, 20 minutes drive from the city's tutu +, the water at the beach and the pool is seawater, can't understand !!! Deluxe rooms do not live, rotten, no cell phone signal, many rooms have no internet, previously booked superior rooms (Sea view room on the second floor), one day before departure, Ctrip's customer service phone notified that there was no room, and the price was changed to a deluxe room (the type that can't see anything). I changed rooms and said that the Superior Room was gone, but when we arrived at the Superior Room (6 rooms in total) there was no one at all. As a result, I spent an extra 150 RMB per night in the Superior Room, and I was drunk. 2. Don't stay in a deluxe room at this hotel !!! There is no other room to consider this hotel. I went to the swimming pool for a while on the first day, and when I came up, I got 3 bags, and I encountered some unclean things. It took only 5 days. It's a long story, summing up the recommendation index 60 points (out of 100)

I went to Dumaguette primarily for a getaway and to indulge in my favourite past time- snorkeling. My plan was to visit Apo Island to see the turtles. First, after searching the net for possible boat companies, I was not convinced about the quality of services available. But KAVs arranged Aqua Dive and wow....it was fantastic from the word go. Resort pickup, all snorkel and dive gear provided, lunch prepared in a generous tupperware box and boat crew who were amazingly helpful. But KAVS itself was a real getaway. The only fault... but not really a fault...is that its at least 35 min by bus from the city. But the bonus is that it has that secluded feeling, nice beach, great pool and great home-made beer ( i think the owner is dutch or German). Rooms were super clean and cosy. Food at the restaurant was reasonably priced and very tasty. Will I go back? Yes, in a heartbeat.

Originally, Ctrip wrote no window. After checking in, it was found to have windows. It can be opened, but there is no balcony. There are several rooms next to the balcony. It is recommended that you choose a balcony, you can dry clothes, sanitation and bathing, bath water It's a little smaller, but it doesn't matter. Going out a few hundred meters is the clock tower and the church. Going a little further and having a Robinson supermarket is quite convenient. The breakfast is a set meal. There are about 8 options, and the amount is slightly less. One point, barely enough to eat, after all, in the Duma, the conditions are OK. The pier took a sudden car to the hotel, we spent 70P, 10 yuan, not happy how to counter-offer, the people over there is not easy.

We actually just came for the day. As with most places in The Philippines, the staff are very nice, friendly and welcoming. But very poorly trained. They are in dire need of a professional resort management company. The food was good. The resort doesn't offer much to do. Its showing signs of neglect. The kids playground was closed for repair, but looked like it has been closed for years. The short golf course was OK. Just tees and greens. At 2,000 pesos per round, it is ridiculously overpriced. Which was why I was the only player there, on a Sunday morning! The place was empty of guests. I don't see the draw to this place. It wasn't bad, but very poor value for the prices charged. We won't be back.

The Hotel is very accessible to the City Proper just located in the near front of Robinson’s Dumaguete. Also kilometers away from the Ceres Bus Terminal. Room is clean; has a regular room set up (complimentary water, soap, shampoo, dental kit, etc.); and Aircon including the television are working well. Breakfast is available depends on your room reservation. Nothing special about the staff.
