Good and calm hotel to stay , different from the entrance , situated close to an arcade. Staff was good, and helped me with an early check in. If you arrive by train in Osaka, you may need to drag the bag from the station, easier to find the way coming from the streets and not the underground. But plenty of eateries around. Department stores close to Umeda station. Room had space for a big bag, comfy beds, some room amenitites, kettle, tea. Personnel amenities to be collected at the check in, that is the new eco trend in Japan. Mid-scale hotel, will consider for future travels.

○ not good ○ good point - there is nothing shortage except the following ”not good”. - ”Cleanliness” and ”satisfaction of breakfast” This is the highest priority in hotel selection, but this point is very satisfying. - It is new enough to smell building materials, but it is still praised for the room without dust and the bathroom without cloudy. - Breakfast is quite rich in variety. The taste is good. Dinner was late and I was not very hungry, but I just overeat it. - In addition to side dishes and salad, I had curry and pork bone ramen. I want to stay overnight. - Sweets are rich and coffee is especially delicious. - The atmosphere of the restaurant is good, and the staff 々 was also very concerned and I was able to eat comfortably. ○ Not good point - I wanted a hand soap. - The room is quite small. - There is no security box or WiFi explanation anywhere. - The breakfast scrambled eggs are too hot. ○ General Theory There is no luxury like a big hotel, but I was able to make it sufficiently and spend it comfortably. The location is good, so if you keep this, you will stay at the lodging.

The hotel is very modern and the staff speak English (it seems to be a lie but it is hard for someone to speak English in this country). This is great because we visit other places from here. The room has a standard size, is clean, the bathroom is comfortable and is modern. It has tea and coffee in the entrance for guests (caffee is horrible, type infusion, but the infusion is good). As close to the station, it has all kinds of services around: shops, restaurants, karaokes...

I used it for about a week from the end of March. Because it was under such a situation, I was very sorry, and I asked for a little bit of self-help about the cleaning of the room, but the front desk was not particularly able to explain anything I accepted it (there is a hygiene relationship, so I wanted to clean it once a day even if I stayed for three nights). I thought that I was really clever about other things. Especially the small staff at the front desk was very good impression! If you have another chance, I will use it!

Things have been different after covid there are good and bad about the hotel after 2 years since my last stay. Breakfast was still good but not as good as before. And the supper curry rice no longer supply. But there are free coffee and the location changes also.. lots of ”information center” around if you know what I mean.

We stayed here for a night and chose this place mainly because it was within walking distance to Osaka station. The hotel is situated in a small alley, but with many eateries nearby, and also convenience stores. It is about 10 minutes walk from Osaka station / Umeda station. Reception was friendly, quick and efficient, and check in check out was really smooth. The room was standard size of a Japan hotel room but the bath was very spacious. Unlike normal Japan hotels, the toilet bowl area, sink, and bathtub area were all separated. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again given the good location!

Where do I begin with the problems? This may seem centrally located, but it is still quite a hike from Osaka Station, especially with bags. As other travelers have noted, the entrance is fairly well hidden, we got lucky and walked in the right door and figured out where to go the first time, but that was just dumb luck. The area was the most seedy place I have been anywhere in Japan. There was trash on the streets, and loud fights going on practically everywhere. Had to push our way past the drunks on the way in and the way out. Staff took FOREVER to do check in and couldn't seem to find our reservation and yes, then it cost a bit more for no appreciable reason. Luggage storage area simply a roped off area in the tiny check in room (anybody could make off with your luggage and nobody would know the difference). We asked for two keys because there were two of us and got major static, but eventually our two keys. Elevator up to our floor claustrophobic beyond belief - could barely fit the two of us and our luggage. The room was small and cramped. All the advertised amenities were there, but in miniature. The walls are done up in 1970s dark paneling, so lighting is a major issue. Also had to hunt around to find the electrical outlets to charge our phone/tablets. Bathroom was decent sized, but the faucet sounded like a 747 taking off every time we used it. EVERY time we left our room, we were stopped by hall staff demanding to know who we were and where we were going. Nobody tells you that the rooms are right next to a busy freeway overpass, so you have cars and trucks going by all day and night. Then in the morning you are treated to the sights and sounds of guys pouring their drunken girlfriends into taxis right out in front of the hotel. And yes, there are the police and ambulances constantly moving around 24/7. Then the breakfast is an adventure. We bought tickets, but as there are no signs we sat down at one of the tables and were almost assaulted by the dining room lady who DEMANDED our tickets. After getting over our sheer embarrassment from that we went to the ”buffet” that was limited at best, with most things running out almost immediately. It was a struggle to find something to eat in any sufficient quantity to start your day. Protein offerings ran out FAST, even in the very early hours. If you want an adventure in lodging, this is the place for you. If you want someplace that is relatively friendly, has some customer service, is not overrun by rude staff and drunks, go somewhere....anywhere....else.

I am a frequent traveller and highly spoiled normally staying in Four Seasons but on Tripadvisor i noticed this hotel and the super reviews and looking at prices it was interesting to try and happy I did! Quick review: -top housekeeping, big compliment for this team -super clean rooms -spacious room with huge balcony and this is a huge bonus to the room also the amazing view -very silent rooms, no noise from other rooms, alley or street -very complete room with everything you need -great bed! -friendly staff although English is not very good and surprised me especially in reception Location is the keyword, I walked around a lot and found this hotel is superb to visit Osaka, everything important within walking distance. Some minor points I think the hotel should improve: -concierge service and English language i really missed -slippery bathtub, improvement needed as they don’t have a seperate shower, very dangerous so input a towel in the tub. -there is no bar! I can highly recommend this fine hotel and would return without any doubt. To be improved in my view: - bathtub is too slippery and dangerous so needs improvement - language skills of reception is poor and concierge service would be good to have -there is no bar but they have a great outdoor terrace so use it for drinks!

We stayed with our family on a hot summer day. It opened on August 1, and the facilities were glittering. There was also a large bath and it was quite relaxing. The sauna was not done in corona countermeasures. I ate at dinner, breakfast and hotel restaurant, but both were quite high quality. Breakfast can be selected from 2 types. Osaka specialty? It consisted of two types of Western food sets and a lot of stuff. I thought it was Okonomiyaki from the morning? I thought, but my daughter was eating with peroli. It became a micro tourism from Hyogo, but I thought I would like to stay in the mood change even if there is a hotel that can be so relaxing in the vicinity.

The next day, I went to Kaiyukan and moved to Shin-Osaka, so it was only a one-day stay, but I used it for a family trip to Universal Studios Japan. Straight line distance is near, and it is immediate when we use high speed by taxi. Self check-in, the room is clean, and you can stay calmly. However, if it was for the purpose of USJ, I thought it might be better to stay at a nearby hotel (because it is lined up in the luggage storage of USJ...). I think that's the strategy.

The hotel was actually okay. The rooms were small as you know from Japan. All was clean. The rooms were cleaned if you wanted this with a sign at the door. Unfortunately, there was no way in the bathroom to hang up the towels. I would never book this hotel again and can only warn you. We were already scared at the station Dobutsun-Mae from dirty crops. Shin-Imamiya was as terrible as it was. The hotel is located in Japan's largest arms district. For several days the same homeless sat at the entrance of the hotel. We also climbed over unconscious men on the light day. In the darkness we would never have left the hotel. We don't know something like this from Japan. If we could have left the hotel on the first day. Unfortunately we had already paid. With the sirens that are the characteristic of this area, you must also be able to live. We had to watch some of the police chasing.

We stayed in the Family Theatre Apartment for 4 nights... Room was large but not very clean and unfortunately, there was no daily housekeeping, only daily emptying of trash bins and replacement of towels (the hotel sent many email to remind us of it haha). Housekeeping is scbeduled once every 3 nights, however at check-in, we already spotted dust trapped between the walls and furniture, found a bedroom slipper stuck below the bed and stayed there throughout our stay even after the housekeeping on our 4th day. There was no luggage stand so we placed them on the floor, lots of cloth-hangers provided in the wardrobe, essential toiletries were available at the reception area, so were the coffee and tea sachets etc. Love the kitchen and proper fridge (with freezer) and all the necessary cooking utensils... The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, we were referred to a folder comprising all the recommended places to go and places to eat - not all restaurants were really great though. Location was good... Family Mart is nearby, Orange Street is just opposite, 15 minutes walk to Dontonburi, Shinsaibashi and Namba Station. There are a few big public carparks nearby too. Wish the housekeeping could be improved p.s. the chambermaid isn't friendly and doesn't greet anyone - this is unusual in the Japanese culture.

The miraculous shower is comfortable, the ladies plan, so the amenities are substantial, and the legglift and nanosteamer that I wanted to use were sufficient, and the bed was large and very good I thought it was a little cold? I thought it was satisfactory that the heating could be set and there was an air cleaner, so the room was clean and warm and I could set it myself. It walks a little from the station, but it is not bitter because there is a color 々 on the way. Despite arriving earlier than the check-in schedule, the front desk responded gently. The price is reasonable and the transportation is very convenient. There is a subway and a convenience store just a short walk away. The indoor facilities are complete, the small table is enough for laptop work, pajamas, slippers, toiletries and tea bags are all self-service. The maid will clean the room as needed. The service will be very good if you come on weekdays during the off-peak tourist season, but on Fridays and weekends the restaurant and laundry room are a bit overloaded. The room is small, the bed is very small, in fact, it is okay, the only thing that is inconvenient is that the place to take a bath is diagonally opposite. It is equivalent to taking a bath in the public area to go opposite. Go out every time. Everyone looked up at you, they had to dress very neatly, and the showers had to be neat and tidy. I stayed for five nights here and it was a very good experience staying here! my twin room has two single beds of good quality mattress (a bit firm) and nice thick blanket. the room size is okay, understandable as most hotel room on this budget in big cities in Japan is usually very compact and small. the room lacks racks / place to put your luggage, however, there is daybed / sofa that i put my luggage into. there is water heater and two cups, but lack of instant coffee / tea, however, at the lobby, they provide good quality all you can drink coffee, tea, soda and etc, from 3pm to 10am. bathrobe is in drawer. slippers are provided The room is clean, well lit but the only windows is frosted glass so can't see anything outside. bathroom is well sized, with bathtub and shower head too. standard bathroom amenities are all provided and complete and good quality. even better, they provide sachets of body lotion, cleansing oil, toner, shaving cream and after shave lotion! However, they implement what they call as 'eco-cleaning', thorough cleaning and changing of blanket and linen is only done on 3rd day of your stay, however, the staff will replenish all of your amenities everyday and also replace towel. wifi works great, airconditioner excellent too. location wise, its in the center of Osaka, very near to the dotonbori, shinsaibashi and namba area, which means, its in the centre of food-mecca of osaka. there are two metro line nearby too that will get you anywhere. if you are returning to KIX airport, a 10-15 min walk to namba station north entry is easy. another highlight of my stay is their staff is so friendly, particularly Jason who speaks english really well! he even took initiative to provide us with huge paper bag after seeing is bringing lots of goods on separate plastic bag. thank you so much Jason, you are what every hotel need on reception desk :)

The new brand hotel of the Palace Hotel opened in July, so I was able to stay at a good price using GoTo. The location is just outside Dojima underground street. It is located in the south of Kita Shinchi, but the service was good and I was able to stay with peace of mind. The corner studio of 32 square meters stayed. There is a bathtub and shower booth in the space like home called rug in the flooring, and it feels compact. However, when you take a shower, the powder area is flooded, and the bath is rounded from the room? All the towels were very soft and good with imabari towels. There is a restaurant and room 001 on the second floor, coin laundry, vending machine, coffee machine and microwave oven, and shoe shine service and free puff service It was a very calm space. I didn't use the restaurant this time, but I was worried about the space that I saw a little and was very nice. depends on the price, it is a hotel that I want to stay again.
