Groveland

It is said that this hotel has to be booked long in advance, otherwise it is difficult to book! Located in the Yosemite Valley, it is more like a resort hotel in nature, as well as a variety of activities for children, not to mention the environment. I was fortunate enough to book this hot hotel. When I checked in, I was told that the room was upgraded! ! Upgraded into a family room, I suddenly felt a little lost with my husband. We live in the K area. The tap water in the hotel is all spring water. I curiously tried the shampoo and hair care products that come with the bathroom. It feels very good. The shampoo conditioner feels anti-off, and the taste is light and loose. It smells good! Dinner in their restaurant, the high-cost western restaurant, opened in the valley, but the price is not expensive than the downtown restaurant, the taste is also very good, praise! !

Best location! It was near and easy going around Yosemite park from this hotel. Right outside our room was the river and it was the best sight specially in the morning. Love the big bath tub with jets! Just needs more cleaning coz i noticed it has got molds already. There is absolutely no phone signal here and Wifi is not free so you have to purchase on check in. Funny tho coz once you are in Yosemite park, there is LTE signal. There is fridge, cooking utensils, electric stove, plates, cups, cleaning stuff, room was huge!! We got the 2 queen beds room type. The food in their restaurant is not so bad, the service could be better tho. Our food came super slow. There is plenty of parking space and its for free. I never get to try their pool and laundry facilities.

Stayed in a 2 queen and sofa for $250. Pricey for what you get but your paying for the location. Was looking for a hotel close to Yosemite and this fit the bill. Yes, the wifi is non existent, but it’s the same in most of the area. The room is a basic hotel room. We stayed on the first floor and sometime around 11 pm someone started knocking on our door repeatedly. I didn’t open the door, but they knocked again about 5 minutes later. I just ignored it and they went away. It scared me, but the door was locked and dead bolted. The outside pool was really nice. More like a resort pool than a motel pool. Very large with lots of loungers

You need to check in further up the road at Cedar Lodge, but it is a small drive back and forth (this is also where the restaurant is located) The wifi was great, the room was clean and comfortable, and there was nothing like sitting on the porch, watching the sunset over the mountains. The breakfast buffet is all right, and the staff is very kind.

Decent stay for Yosemite National park. Close enough to entrance. We had a “cabin” room behind the restaurant , which is basically a hotel room and bathroom- but it did the job. We loved having the patio porch outside our room. FYI you check in at the Yosemite west gate lodge- had to call to find this out after we couldn’t find buck meadows lodge on GPS. Our only complaint is the automatic porch light outside the room has no light switch to turn off, so a bright light was shining in despite having curtains, which was super annoying! Overall, room was clean and shower water pressure was great and got hot. Lucky buck Restaurant right outside our room was a nice place and super convenient as we ate here twice.

Buck Meadows

The hotel was very comfortable and clean. It is only 15 to 20 minutes from the Big Oak Flat gate for Yosemite National Park and provides an excellent base for visiting the park. Munuj and his wife were excellent hosts and although housekeeping is not provided on a daily basis this was a common finding in other hotels during our stay in California. Housekeeping was offered after we had stayed 2 nights. We had a ground floor room and parking the car outside the room was reassuring. The Lucky Buck diner was only a 50 yard walk and provided traditional diner fare with excellent quality and reasonable prices. Overall we had an excellent stay.
