I stay here at least once a month when I visit Katowice and I can't imagine staying anywhere else. The rooms are comfortable, clean and very quiet. The staff is always helpful. I also use the gym and sauna facilities. The gym is very well equipped as far as hotel gyms go. Definitely a big advantage for me. The breakfasts are delicious. Great variety of products. I also always dine at the restaurant downstairs which offers great regional dishes. All in all, it's a great place to stay if you want to relax, study, or work. The rooms are so quiet! Have stayed here a couple of times. Parking is 50 Zl a day. Very clean, nice modern rooms. Great Lounge/Bar/Restaurant area. Bartenders/waiters very variable - some with professional, accommodating attitude, some less so. Restaurant menu has been updated, and food is now modern (with a choice of traditional Polish items). Food is good, but not exceptional. They do carry bottled beer from a regional brewery, I can strongly recommend the IPA! Location is not smack downtown, but more of a compromise between the Spodek area and Mariacki Street. Nice enough, and no nightclub noise during the nights.FromUS$49.00

We stayed here for 3 nights. Mattress was very very hard, felt like a brick. Everything was very clean! Doors are opening with a code, so there is no possibility of losing the key. Big advantage for us is that offer parking! Breakfast was okay, compared to other hotel breakfasts we had before, but I recommend to eat somewhere else. (Better price and better quality) Towels were always changed when you wanted this, bed linnen was not changed during our stay. FromUS$42.00

Likewise convenient for business and holiday travelers. Nicely, decent great interior, but very warm, super nice Restaurant, Bar located on the 27th´s floor including yummy yummy variations of Food & drinks/wine and of course a PHANTASTIC nearly 360degrees view to Katowice. Super nice and cute furnitured Suite, with a huge living room, big bath and so comfortable bed :-) sleep like in heaven :-) Outstanding was the received service (not a matter of course today in hotels) especially not as a 1st timer! There was nothing what the crew does not achieve in a shortly timeframe, even it was hard to get some special things... ( like watching NFL wild card game.... till 2am simply Perfect! Special thanks to the whole Team ( housekeeping, waitress and waiter, cook, limousine driver... ) , they all do really an outstanding job, friendly passionate and always kind. To be honest, this is a place to be at Katowice and I´ll be back for sure shortly! Last but not least goes my personal THANK YOU to Donata ( super cute, warm and smiling all the time ) she does her job´s with a great passion, extremely high personal engagement and a fantastic decent kind of behavior to make things happen! In the past 3 years, I have stayed at this hotel roughly 40+ times. So I am certainly an avid fan of Novotel, both in Katowice and the brand itself. The staff are friendly and the rooms are comfortable. My issue I had this visit was mainly with the 'refurbished' gym. It is now 24/7 which is a great plus, however, they have decided to remove the one weights machine and they have 'free weights' available to use. However, I complained to the front staff that the free weights were missing (I.e. only 1 4kg, 1 5kg and 1 6kg, the pairs were missing). This is disappointing as means the gym is not wholly equipped. The food options seem to have been reduced also, which was not quite disappointing, but was not what I expected of the brand. I will still be planning to stay at the hotel again in March and April at least, and hope the above is addressed accordingly.FromUS$52.00

This is a wonderful hotel with very large clean rooms and attentive & friendly staff. There is a road construction outside so a little tricky to find the entrance but once instide its well worth the effort. Breakfast was very good and Covid19 risks were well handled. Right outside there are multiple reastaurants and bars. If you are going to stay in Katowice then stay at this hotel.FromUS$117.00

I wonder if all of the reviewers have actually stayed in this hotel. There were so many problems during my short 2 night stay that I am more than just disappointed. First of all, the hotel decided to cancel my booking before my arrival because, as BW helpdesk claims, technical error of some sort didn't pass my full booking information to the hotel. However I feel the hotel should have contacted me and inquired if I am really coming - or just waited the next morning. What if the hotel had been fully booked and they had accepted somebody else to the room I had booked? Now it just took a lot of time to check in as they had to make the booking again, but it was still annoying. They should definitely review both their booking system and procedures if such problems arise. Hotel anyway had my full contact information and the booking, and preauthorisation of my payment card was made through BW's own web system. Bigger and more serious problems regarding the room itself. First of all, they gave me room next to the elevator. Every single time drunk customers (which they had a lot) came from elevator, or was waiting for it, a lot noise came in. You could hear their whining, every single word. A lot of noise came from the street, even the room was on 3rd floor. Hotels noise insulation was very bad. Further problems: the hotel room had tiniest toilet seat, shower cabin and bed I have ever seen in any hotel. Seriously, the room was made for children, not adults. Further annoyance came from noisy ventilation. I have been to many BW hotels in the world and in general, I stay a lot in hotels, closer to 100 nights per year, but this one was serious disappointment and not worth of BW brand which usually exceeds my expectations. Was here for 5 nights with family, but booked a room for myself separately. The room was spacious with a lovely old-world charm, but bathroom was updated and very clean. There was an airconditioner, but no control to use it. It probably would have been provided had I requested it, but didn't need it. Staff were very accommodating and check-in and check-out was smooth and hassle-free. Hired a car for two nights and was able to park car at the hotel for small fee (10PLN per night). Our booking included free breakfast and it was well worth it. The range of food available was good and again staff helpful and courteous. Hotel is very close to train station and there is a Galleria (shopping centre) very close by if you want to purchase sundry items. Very convenient location for seeing Katowice. Would recommend this hotel for singles, couples and families - extended stay is good! Would book again.FromUS$80.00

This hotel is low price, easy to find, just beside the highway S4. Nice room, nice service and a nice bed. Anyhow, please stay away from room 106, which is place just above a platform outside the hotel, where there is a party going on every night if the weather is good, as it has been now. First night, drunk Polish singing, screaming and shouting until 06:00. You can also smell people smoking at the platform 24/7. Another point is that the room appear extremely humid, which is not good for sleeping. FromUS$38.00

The sat-nav had no problem finding the hotel even though there were a couple of unusual turns to get there. Parking was right outside. Very good and helpful welcome, note stairs only to the rooms. Room looked a little small but contained 2 single beds, when we expected a double. She showed us a double room that was even smaller so we stuck with the twin and pushed the two together which made the room seem so much bigger. The beds were comfortable, toiletries were provided and breakfast was nicely presented and cooked. The timing for breakfast was a little early for our personal taste but overall a very enjoyable experience.FromUS$34.00
