|2.14km from city centerWe stayed at Liliwalai Resort for a few nights as part of an organized birding holiday. Although the grounds are beautiful and well kept my honest rating would be 3.5 for the room itself. It was in a row of rooms and was quite average in size and amenities. Although without much of a view to anything it served our basic needs. It appears the wooden Thai houses located farther from the restaurant would be a better room choice than the attached rows of rooms. The restaurant meals were generally well prepared however staff were at times a bit confused/slow to serve us. The WiFi was some of the fastest we experienced in our travels throughout the country. There is a pool but we didn't make use of it. Overall, a nice resort.

|5.34km from city centerWe have been to Khao Yai before at other resorts. This time we tried Romantic Residence. We would not recommend this place compared to other resorts in the same price range. The staff hardly speaks English, hotel room/appartment not designed with the user in mind (no reading lamps and bedside tables, air con in the middle of room and ice cool air on your head when lying in the bed). Besides, the style is not romantic at all and the pool is situated in the Romantic Hotel Resort which reminds of a shopping mall where nobody wants to lie quietly by the pool. The views from the room/appartment to the mountains was nice!

Some cheapskates might feel that ca. 100 usd for a tent is expensive, however you are paying for the experience and an experience it is. We saw a elephant at 6:15 in the morning right behind our tent (the people who thought we his place was expensive probably were asleep…). In any case it is worth it.

Locate in Khao Yai National Park, heading there might turn heads wondering if this road is it but once arrived the feeling is should have been here earlier. Take your time to relax, ignore the busy city life, the need to be somebody and just spend time with a view and quietness. Doesn’t matter your alone, couple, family’s and friends, it’s just good to be where you feel at peace.

It is a calm, quite place, and convenient for Khaoyai National Park trip. Room was nice and toilet/shower were good. Breakfast (Milk Land) was not much variety, but good teste. A lot of parking space provided behind hotel buildings. Khaotom (Boilrice) Km.9 local restaurant for dinner is 6.5 km away from the hotel.

This is definitely my top hotel so far, even though it’s considered old by many but the room, service and food is excellent. Can’t recommend enough of it. Look no further for you stay in khao yai, it’s just great. Value for money and quiet.

|8.38km from city centerMy trip ended since September 2021, at that time when i checked out of the hotel, i thought i would give them 1 star, or even 0 star if having, but i was convinced myself of being calm to go back later for unbiased reviews, and until today it's a pity to say that I can't still give them more than 2 stars after everything we had experienced in Toscana Hotel La Casetta. At the beginning I discussed so clearly with the booking staff that my husband and I wanted to book their room for 2 weeks for our anniversary vacation. They offered me a cheaper room under 50 square meters but I refused. I chose the ” nicer and larger ”, accepted to pay more with hope we would have a great trip. I sent some pictures of the room and they 100% confirmed that we would be accommodated in that kind of room. But finally, in reality we wouldn't. The very first night when we checked in, I was so disappointed that I didn't even want to unpack my stuffs because the room was different from what we saw in the photos. They claimed this room type was for 4 people but really for 2 of us it was not enough, 1 wardrobe was so old and small, my husband had to put his clothes on the extra bed. There was only 1 sink which was so small and dirty while in the picture it should be 2 separate sinks. Toilet, shower very old and extremely dirty. The mezzanine of the room was lack of sofa, completely not the same which what we wanted to book and pay for. We arrived at the hotel when their restaurant was closed, there was no microwave in the room and the surroundings were quiet. We were forced to eat cold food that we brought with and that night I had a stomach ache because of that. The next day I had to call the manager asking him to take us to the correct room that we booked, they cooperated, and it turned out to be an even worse room with a very bad air conditioner, noisy like a plow, I think I've read a few comments here from another guests about the noise of the AC also. They even knew that and arranged a fan just in case, but sorry we didnt spend money to use the fan, right? After discussing again, my husband said we couldnt get the money back anyway, then try to stay and make the room better. We decided to ” help them to help us ”, clean and rearrange the room with the aim of trying to enjoy our vacation together. We went to the supermarket to buy dishes, cutlery, napkins, garbage bags... Honestly I was not satisfied at all but tried to bear it. A few days later, I called their restaurant to order room service. I asked for pad Thai, and extra onion. It was so stupid that the restaurant staff who spoke English pretty well didn't understand what oinion was, she told me ” im sorry Madam i dont know what onion meant ”. I got angry and canceled the order. The last time was at noon when I had an urgent matter to contact the reception, I called the front desk 8 times, called the manager's number 3 times, both by the phone installed in the room and by the mobile phone, calling them contin

In terms of quality, Muthi Maya could be rated above 5-star, if there was any option for such rating. You have everything in the villa, high quality slippers, excellent bath robes, two seperate WC's, a king size bathroom with large jacuzzi tub and separate shower location, proper kitchenete with everything that you need including Coffee-maker, ”Emperor size” bed with extremely high quality linens & pillows, king-size sofa, and not to mention its private swimming pool with full privacy! The resort has 3 restaurants, each offering perfect cuisines by perfect chefs. My review may sound bit overwhelming but as I mentioned in the beginning that it was one of the best resort stay experiences that we ever had out of many resort stays over the course of past years. You can hire bicycles to tour the resort. I had great time by the lake with the bike. To travel from one location to other location within the resort you need proper cars which is provided by resort whenever you need; golf cars wouldn't be enough as it's like a size of a city- no exaggeration! It was expensive but if you can afford, it would be well spent! We stayed in this resort for 3 nights (in January 2018). If we are back in Thailand, we will consider revisiting. f we are in Thailand again, we will consider to go back!

Can rent scooter from hostel, if run out, there are scooters rental near by.
It has roof top bar, very nice breakfast canteen..however there is no cooking facilities, but no need to do any cooking, because Thai food are so good and so cheap.
There is a night food market just right across the road, many street food and restaurants near by.
Good place to stay before heading to Khao Yai.
Hostel is in centre of Pak Chong, there is a very big Chinese temple near by, where people practices Tai Ji every evening.
Big C and Lotus is not far away can go there to do shopping and, or eating in nice food court there.
Be aware of riding scooter and safety especially to the Dam, which have to ride on free way with cars and trucks all running at 100+ km/ hour, if renting a 125 cc scooter would be unsafe on fast free way, where there are motorbike lands too, but unpredictable safety on bike land, eg rocks or slippery sand, pot holes or sometimes truck or cars just parking on these land. And very dangerous and unsafe to make U turn with little scooter which has not enough power to change land in on running very fast traffic. Those no experience with riding scooter should just join tours for your own safety.
People in Pak Chong are very nice and friendly.

|17.33km from city centerNever did we imagine when we entered the room that we would be greeted by this beautiful sweeping view of Toscana Valley. My wife and me simply lost our breath. Our city view room was a picture of Tuscany itself, with its Mediterranean warm yellows and orange-colored homes and buildings. The room was simply excellent. It was clean, spacious and well-designed with a kitchenette where one could have the hotel’s complimentary coffee or tea. It’s Wifi connectivity was also good. We had our breakfast and dinner during our 3 day-stay at the Town Square because we wanted to. The views from there and the ambience with its cobbled streets were simply superb. We felt we were in Italy. We never thought we could enjoy a hotel so much. We are going back again next year, maybe during the rainy season for another stay.

|18.62km from city centerWe impressed the warmed and swarming welcome by a nice smile receptionist, she was enthusiastic to take care of our luggage and the strictly Covid checking and rules that we must follow to make us feel safer and really like family. The room was exceptional decorations and met the 5 star standards, particularly a swimming pool, library and king George restaurant was truly British touch. The food was not too bad, pizza four season and a deep fried sea bass was my favorite dish and strongly suggested you must try. The key strength is a large garden, Nicolas church and prammika art gallery, thanks to all staff I will definitely be back again and again

|5.08km from city centerThis hotel is PERFECT!!! They are located close to most of the coffee and eatery places in khaoyai. The staff - a batch of very friendly very helpful and lovely people. Always smiling, not idling, always on standby to meet your needs. The room - huge room, separate living and bedroom space. Lots of sitting space, table top space, luggage storage space. Love that the toilet and shower area are separate. Lots of natural sunlight as well, nice view from the room. The best spot - the swimming pool. It is suspended in midair and you get a lovely view from the bottom of the pool. Not for the faint hearted. They also have complimentary hi-tea. Lovely tray of sandwich, cakes, fruits and drinks. An indulgence by itself. In-room bar is complimentary as well, 2 cans of soft drink, 2 cans of beer, some packet juice, peanuts, chips…. Breakfast is ala carte with very good choices. No efforts had been spared to make you start your day right. Will definitely come back here again if I do visit khaoyai again. I left something at the hotel and the staff took extra effort to send them to me. Much appreciated.

The accommodation was old and did not look like the video presentation of the room that we were offered when we asked to see the room. The beds however were comfortable and not rock hard like so many resorts offer. The grounds are spacious - however could benefit from a landscape designer. Breakfast was served in a large room and everything was cold but it was OK.

|5.36km from city centerThe hotel located in the middle of nowhere absolutely nothing in the area. You need transport to get to the hotel. But if you have your own transport my advise is to stay somewhere else that have a better facilities and better customer service then select this hotel. There are many hotel that distance away from Pak Chong town but at least they are nearer to the sightseeing places and have a better facilities in the hotel itself. There is zero facilities in this hotel. There is also zero customer service in this hotel. They have backpack hostel policy where they were eager to charge additional headcount but did not provide you additional bed or any stowaway bed but asked you to sleep on a big plastic sofa bed and to make thing worse was they did not provide you a proper additional blanket for the additional charges they imposed on the additional guest. What they provided was two thin towels - one for your shower and one for you to use as blanket. Even the next day we requested for blanket the hotel provide you towel. It was not worth the price you pay - it’s worse then a hostel or guest house. The service was not good specially the reception lady. She have zero customer service in mind. She keep telling she have to check and get approval from the manager which was nowhere to be seen. She told me that she need to get her boss approval for the additional blanket! It’s not worth the price you pay in every sense-the room is not clean the water heater is not that great - it hardly warm particularly in the morning. There is no tea or coffee provided in the room considering the rate they charging. There is no facilities at hotel even in the reception the seating place is simple and minimum just like a cheap hostel it was an open air reception area. The breakfast was also lame considering the price you pay. The coffee was instant coffee sachet that you need to self serve and the orange juice was actually a orange cordial syrup that hardly cool. The food option is limited with not much to choose from you get what you see- you need to submit the correct date food coupon to entitle for the breakfast. When I was there the temperature was cold we did not even turn on the aircon and the tv channel was nothing in English! It was a local Thai channel. The water heater not really doing it job and keeping us out of shower as soon as were in. Seriously I am not sure what I paid for considering the high room rate they charge me? The bedding as as described earlier -one of it was a sofa bed with a plastic cover- they charge you for sleeping on this plastic bed- no they did not provide you bedsheet only towel as blanket. By all mean stay somewhere else don’t stay at this Together Hostel.

I found out later that the actual price was much cheaper. I stayed at a small dome for 1 night. The location is not interesting. Each point is very close. The shower room I stayed in is not very clean. The shower head is not very good. I recommend if anyone wants to stay here to contact the place directly. But personally, I will not go back here again. It's not worth this price.
