We spent a night last minute. We were very surprised by the night's welcome, a gentle and very sympathetic man. Quality price price unbattable. A complete hyper breakfast and cheap with choice and quality. A sense of welcome and hospitality. Thanks to the gentleman of the night and we personally stay in the morning to the small care. I strongly recommend this hotel in the region. Very calm and very relaxing with the bathroom! Joyful parties to you!

Didn't stay at this ”hovel” ... (oops!! ... Freudian slip) ... ”hotel” through choice. It was chosen by our coach company as a stop over location en-route to Lake Maggiore in Italy. After travelling for over 11 hours, we were greeted by an late evening meal of salad and yoghurt (take it or leave it ... no choice). We were not allowed to eat in the restaurant, but were ushered into a side room that resembled a factory canteen. Sadly we stopped there on our return journey, and following complaints to the Manager by our coach company, we were assured that the unpleasant food experience would not be repeated ...... wrong!!! Again we ate in a separate canteen type room, again with a take it or leave it choice of salad, meat leftovers and chips, followed by ice cream profiteroles ... yummy!!! We felt sorry for the lone waitress who was given the job of serving all 40 of us single handed .... and smiling through the entire ordeal. Breakfasts were not much better ..... zero staff in attendance, and very little and poor choice. Beds were comfy .... that's the only compliment I can give. Avoid this place at all costs ......

Stayed here on the way back to the UK. It's a large and very pleasant modern hotel that's very clean, fresh and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and spoke several languages. The rooms are large with very effective air conditioning and the bathroom has a walk in shower room with a very powerful shower. The beds were large - probably queen size at least and very comfortable. Windows triple glazed. Plenty of power points. This hotel was way above my expectations and I will certainly choose to stay here again if I'm in the area. Highly recommended.

The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable. Small bemol: a little noise from the loud cars and room neighbors who made a lot of noise to speak loudly in the corridor and try to open the doors by knocking them several times.

I needed a place to rest on a long drive and this place seemed ideal as it was only just off the A4 from Paris to Strasbourg The parking is a gated affair, you need a code to get (your car) in, so you need to check in first to get parked. If you checkin online in the days before your stay you'll avoid any messing late at night. The room was fine for me and in top condition. The bathroom a tad outdated but all working and seemed nice and clean. Wifi was good enough to watch some online streaming TV. The TV itsself was all French channels aside from Euronews in English and one of the movie channels had movies in English. The breakfast was OK but as youd expect for the price relatively simple, so breads+butter+jams, some yoghurts, a bit of cheese, some sweet pastries etc. along with scrambled egg. The coffee was reasonable, I found the best option to go for the americano and add fresh milk. So, the breakfast isnt a feast but theres plenty there to get you started for the day. All in all, its probably worth 5 for value for money especially booking as a flex deal , the room/ bathroom between 4 and 5 (considering the price) but I cant stretch to give it the full 5 overall as the late night checkin with parking the car at the gate and then running to a machine is not what you want after a drive. I tried to checkin online on the evening of arival but this was no longer possible. ALSO!!! - be aware that the late night checkin machine ONLY takes physical cards with pin number - theres no facility for paying by cash or contactless. On my last journey at a nearby hotel (the last one in France just before the border at Saarbrücken) we even had to pay for strangers at midnight whose cards were not working and they gave us the money in cash.

Place advertised limited parking but there was none. No handicapped parking either. Nearest parking was a block away and 12 Euros for 3 hrs but free from 1900 to 0900. Reception team unaware of parking rates and restrictions. Small room was adequate, kitchenette but needed air conditioning. Our 6th floor room faced west and it was hot. Fan provided helped. All instructions were provided in German along with a pocket size map in French. Excellent location near most sights in easy walking and bike range. Breakfast at 8.50€ was very European. Quiet area in NW area of city center near everything. No lobby or restaurant in our facility. Restaurants required reservations but plenty of outdoor seating was available in the many pedestrian zones. Beer averaged 6.50€ for 1/2 liter and wine for a small glass started at 3.50€. Grocery stores and gas stations are well hidden. Overall parking expense was a major drawback. Find a hotel that has parking.

I’d liked to say I loved this hotel, but I can’t. Being a 400+ year old building on the historic list means there is little the owners can do to make major improvements. Check in was easy. Our room was in the annex a couple doors down from the main entrance. A few items leading to the room could stand to be refurbished, such as the stairs and carpet runner on them. Those same items however, gave the hotel character. The access the annex rooms one needed needed to pass through two doors, each requiring a code. The room was large and had an intimate and historic feel to it. The period style furnishings added to that feeling. Our room overlooked the cathedral. The bed was uncomfortable to us, but would be fine to others. The bathroom was actually two rooms. One had the toilet while the other had the sink and tub. This is somewhat common in this part of Europe and wasn’t the first room we’ve been in that had that setup. There was a hand held sprayer, but no shower curtain, so one needed to be careful of where it was pointed. It did have a kettle for boiling water, but no safe or small refrigerator. There is supposedly air conditioning, but after turning it on we didn’t notice a difference or even hear the fan blowing. An email from the hotel said one can stop in front to drop off luggage, then go to a nearby parking garage. The issue with that is, the hotel is in a restricted driving zone with bollards prohibiting entry. After trying a couple different ways, we just went to the parking garage that is a 4 minutes walk from the hotel. Parking is discounted for hotel guests. We opted to pay 12€ for breakfast. It was typical European and had plenty of fresh fruits and bread items, eggs, cheeses, cereal, yogurt, tea, juice, coffee. The hotel is located across from the cathedral and near plenty of restaurants. Also, the are two free shuttle busses (N81, N83) that go around different parts of the city. They are like a free hop on, hop off bus and run about every 15 minutes.
