I love places with good breakfasts, that's one of them. There's nothing better than getting up and having (almost) everything you may want. There are sweet options, there are salty, fresh fruits, milk and plant-based alternatives (soy, cashew, last year there also was almond), even sparkling wine. The rooms are spacious, beds/sofa beds comfortable, kitchenette clean and greatly equipped, bathrooms nice and clean with nice green tea shampoos, gels, and body lotion. Minor inconveniences - lots of carpeting which attracts dust, even though the hotel is very clean, the dust sits deep down there and I had an allergic reaction; also - it can be a bit noisy there but nothing unbearable. If you're traveling by car - there's free parking and it's not far away from the city center. If you don't have a car, then it may be a bigger problem. The staff is nice, no problem with English.

We returned to the Europa for a two-night stay following an excellent experience there in 2018. Check-in was quick and easy and our room this time was on the top (fourth) floor up in the roof of the building. This meant we had no window but two skylights (fitted with blinds) allowed plenty of light into the room. The room was clean and quite spacious, with basic furnishings and a modern bathroom. It was slightly annoying that there was no powerpoint anywhere near the small desk in this room, so electronic devices had to be charged in less convenient spots in the room. Wi-fi was very stable and fast throughout our short stay. The location again worked well for us, we love this quiet residential neighbourhood and the excellent Tri Ocasi vegan bar/cafe across the road is a huge bonus for us! Sadly the hotel breakfast continues to have very limited vegan options, really just some pieces of fruit. We were again very happy with our stay at this clean, comfortable and quiet hotel just a short walk from the centre of Brno. For the price we paid (just 54 Euros per night), it continues to offer astonishing value for money.

The hotel is very nice. Good location and great breakfast. The room is very nice, warm and clean. The restaurant though has very limited wine list. The dinner though is not that good and the options for drinks in the bar are not so many.

The Efi Spa Hotel was recently opened in 2020, making it a fantastic choice for those staying in Brno. With Brno Main Station just 1km away and Brno-Turany Airport only 8km away, transportation is very convenient. Famous local attractions CLUBWASH, Park Koliste and Tugendhat Villa, can all be reached with a short walk. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. When it comes to Brno hotels, the Efi Spa Hotel is highly regarded for its excellent facilities.

We checked-in in the evening so I did not see the building.. and maybe it was better, becasue maybe I would be scared :) Fortunately everything inside hotel was great. Interiors are reconstructed and we liked the room very much. It was so modern, the walls very special (check photos), design facilities, wireless charger built in the table,.. We had a dinner in hotel restaurant 2 times and we loved it. They offer very good dezerts. Staff in restaurant was a little bit young and unexperienced but nothing to complain. Breakfast was fantastic. I think that was very good service for reasonable price.

Recently we went to the restaurant of Maximus Resort. As we never had a bad experience last year, we decided to go back again. Unfortunately this time the whole experience was a big disappointment. The food I’ve ordered was utterly disgusting, as it should have been pork terderloin with mushroom sauce and boiled potatoes. They brought me rare meat, which had a weird smell. Tried to tell them that I cant have uncooked meat as i am pregnant, but no one was coming to serve us. After 5 mins of waiting I had to call a different waiter and told him the problem. He took the meat right away. After 10 mins they brought me a different meat, but cooked very much similar to what it was before. Meat still had a weird smell, was uncooked and felt like rubber. Meantime potatoes and sauce got cold and in combination with meat it was just horrible. They saw i was clearly not happy with the quality of the food, so they rather did not even ask if everything was ok and ignored me. I did not feel like paying for the meat as it was absolute disgrace, but i felt embarrassed for them, so rather did not mention anything as I just wanted to leave. After this experience I would not go there again and either would not recommend this restaurant.

We chose to stay at Barcelo Brno Palace on our recent group trip to Brno. I can't fault the experience. The following were particular highlights: - Excellent value for such an impressive venue - Good location, 2 minutes walk from the main square - Very welcoming and professional front desk staff: the reception staff (especially Regina) went the extra mile to ensure that our stay was smooth, booking taxis, drawing maps to entertainments venues, and generally being very helpful - thank you. I would have no hesitation in strongly recommending this hotel. Brno is a beautiful city. I can highly recommend a visit to Villa Tugenthat (but you will need to book several months in advance if you want to view the house).

We went to this hotel as our first choice was full. We were greeted by two members off staff, one pleasant the other grunted at us and turned away. Checking in went ok. The room seemed clean enough but on closer inspection some of the bed linen was found to be holed, both sheet and pillowcase. On the final night it was really hot, no aircon or fan, I removed the duvet from the cover only to discover it was disgustingly stained. The pillows too were dirty and had no support for your head at all. The shower head was affixed to the wall but at about 18 inches above the top of the bath and faced across the bath - great if you're a midget. There were no tea or coffee facilities in the room and at the price we paid there should have been. As it was MotoGP weekend they had hiked their prices enormously, we paid 544 euro for three nights, the normal rate is 34 euro per night for three nights the normal deal is 101 euro including breakfast.

Despite the majestic sounding name, I think it's more towards the 4 rather than 5 stars. Stayed in a room with nice square-view, although there was litter which had not been cleaned in the terrace and behind the sofa. A/C didn't work either, had to get a technician come in the room while we were already ready for bed.. Location is ok, although the church bell strikes every 15 minutes, even during night (earplugs are mandatory)

Neat little hostel in a well located area. Many bars and restaurants are near by and the bus terminal is about 10 minutes away. The location isn’t that accessible due to the various steps involved to enter the establishment, otherwise, there is an elevator and stair access to the dorms. The kitchen area is relatively small, but functional. The toilets and showers are few, depending on the floor, but otherwise are kept relatively clean. The dorm rooms are spacious and in my particular dorm they kept the bed to space ratio very low. There is a full length mirror and a full sized table with chairs with plenty of space to eat, drink, or work on. Each bed has a light and power outlet with privacy curtains. There is a good sized lockable storage unit under neath the bed that can easily accommodate a carryon suitcase as well as a backpack. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Would recommend this for a nice comfortable stay while in the Brno.

The location is particularly good, the bus that took the SA was seen from Prague to Brno. Behind the hotel are the main attractions. The room is a suite and the bed is comfortable. I feel that the price is high in Ctrip. If booked at the hotel, the same room is more than $200 per night. The front desk staff can communicate in English. You need to bring your own slippers and toothbrush. You can store your luggage. I am too lazy to take pictures, but I can't say it. The trip to the Czech Republic was very satisfying through the hotel booked by Ctrip.

The location is close to the square and the facilities are clean. I spent almost two weeks in the Czech Republic alone, and I think if you are looking for the cleanest and most modern hotel. It seemed to be used by people who visited the area for business reasons rather than tourists. The only visitors there were those who seemed to be tourists, so I felt relatively cold and unkind of the staff. The staff who checked in at that time put their passports down and chatted with other colleagues throughout the check-in. Aside from being unkind, it was a comfortable place to stay.
