Our stay at this hotel was lovely. We usually stay at a Four Season property when traveling, but wanted to take a chance on a boutique hotel. The physical plant was as described, absolutely serene, and beautifully maintained. We only ate breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on the food, but the breakfast was surprisingly good. You could have anything you wanted, and the baked goods were delicious - I wasn’t expecting the variety or quality- they appeared to have been shipped in from Europe but were local. Our room was large, very clean and expertly maintained throughout our stay. The best thing about the Siam hotel was the staff, starting with the general manager. He appeared to be everywhere at once, gently directing staff, but in such a way as to make the interaction between himself, the staff and guests completely natural. The various staff from doorman, Bellman, waitstaff and Butler all seemed to like him and he interacted with them as a peer, not a director, yet he was clearly in charge. It was a pleasure to watch that degree of people skill and customer focus. Whether that was necessary or not is unknown because the staff uniformly displayed the genuine warmth and hospitality so typical of the Thai people. Our room Butler kept track of our schedule and ensured we were where we were supposed to be without ever seeming intrusive. All with that genuinely warm Thai approach. He is a gem. The pool was lovely and clean, and located right on the banks of the river which made for a great entertainment while sitting and soaking after a long hot day (it was also great for lap swimming). The gym was astonishingly good for a hotel of this size and intimacy. It has its own small Muay Thai ring, It too was clean and well maintained at all times. In sum, the staff executed so well it just felt like you were staying with friends who cared about you. The property’s location up river from the bustle of Bangkok allowed for a wonderfully decompressing 20 minute boat ride each way in the morning and afternoon. If you wanted to go downtown for dinner you could have a cocktail at the bar and bring it with you on the boat. Then they’ll pick you up after dinner. It just doesn’t get better! Thanks for a lovely visit, we look forward to our return.

The fourth house in Bangkok, there is no harm without comparison, each has its advantages. First of all, the location is not too biased. If you take a 25-minute taxi ride to Siam Square, it is very convenient for shopping nearby. There are KFC and McDonald's within 15 minutes walk of the mall. If you are tired of Thai food, you can go there. The front desk speaks Chinese and is convenient for communication. There are a lot of occupants. It can only wait until 2 pm to checkin. The internal environment is very good. It is surrounded by a swimming pool. There are many sofas and deck chairs on the first floor. Sofa mosquitoes are not recommended. The room was clean and the decoration style was very fond of it, but our two adults and one child were slightly cramped and the room was empty. This cable TV has something to like. You can see Chinese channels and cartoons. Children will pass the time without getting bored. Breakfast bad review, too simple, only Western + Thai hot and sour soup Finally, the only thing I can't stand is that Wifi is too slow, I can only brush the circle of friends, the sound insulation is also poor, and the balcony fans are loud.

After our 16-hour-journey from Germany to Bangkok we decided to stay in the Shanti Lodge for four nights. If you prefer living in a quiet, authentic neighborhood but at the same time central - Shanti Lodge is the perfect place for you. Within a twenty-minutes-walk you find yourself on Bangkok‘s most famous road for backpackers, the Khao San Road. For those who do not want to walk, it‘s possible to take a boat that takes about 5-10 minutes to the city center. The boat station is about five minutes away from the Hotel. In general we would recommend to use the boat to get to the temples, markets ecc (it‘s a cheap and fun way to see Bangkok). The neighborhood of Shanti Lodge offers several possibilities to eat. There are a lot of local street food places to experience the extraordinary Thai cuisine. The food at the Shanti Lodge is delicious as well - especially breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and cosy, the hotel has a laundry service. Moreover I would like to emphasize the positive, cosy atmosphere in the restaurant and lobby (there are a lot of plants)! Summarized: Shanti Lodge is the perfect place to stay for a few days Bangkok!!

It is very close to Khao San Road and very close to Pier 15. It is very convenient to take a boat to the Grand Palace. The hotel is not large, 2, 3, 4 floors, the total number of rooms is only 18, there is no pool, gym, the room is not large, but clean and quiet. There is a bit of vintage feeling. The most important thing is that the service is very good. The young ladies at the front desk are warm and thoughtful, and Chinese and English are very slippery. The front desk has a collection of attractions in Bangkok, each of which helps you to write about the modes of transportation that can be reached, by boat or by bus or by grab, and the price of each mode of transportation. If you don't understand, you can ask them to give you a warm answer. We want to do the bus on the four-faced Buddha. The front desk lady helps us plan the best route. We also help us write the address of Thai, let us get on the bus and show the ticket seller. . Hotel breakfast is not self-service, there are only 3 kinds of staple food, you need to choose what you want to eat the day before. Fixed with a glass of orange juice, random fruits and special Thai snacks. Coffee and tea can be brewed at the front lobby. There is a vegetable market and a variety of snack bars near the hotel. It is 711 to go left and turn left. The T-junction is next to the Royal Institute of Technology. The bus stop is right at the door. Life is very convenient. Ps: The boss is handsome and beautiful, and the Chinese is even slippery. Before checking out, I chatted with the boss and said that I have been to Beijing more than ten times, and I have been to many places in China. I am not familiar with Bangkok or go for the first time. It is recommended to live.

Very warm welcome by the staff as we were allowed to check into the room early which was so helpful after a long journey. The food at the cafe was great and fitted in with the authentic Thai feel of the place. Before the stay I was concerned about the security however was reassured upon arrival and felt extremely safe. The Sawatdee Guest House is a perfect spot for travellers wanting to experience Thai culture and street food tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. Stayed in room 9 would definitely recommend.

The 87 Oldtown @ River Pier is one of the newest hotels in Bangkok, having opened in 2020. Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 3km from Yommarat Railway Station and 24km from Don Mueang International Airport. With Bank of Thailand Learning Center, Wat Intharawihan and Golden Teak Museum all within a short distance, there is no shortage of things to do in the area. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site.

Connectivity with airport : 6/10 Connectivity with market : 8/10 Connectivity with chao Phraya river(daytime) : 10/10 Connectivity with Chao Phraya river(night ) : 0/10 Service : 3/10 Food : 10/10 Hospitality : 4/10 Language problem : Yes Professionalism : 2/10 Rooms : 10/10 Ambience : 10/10 Value for money : No Recommended : NO Reaching this hotel through a taxi is a difficult and costly affair. Hotel staff is bit confused understanding your point and you might miss your flight if you depend on them. We had asked them to give us a wake up call at 3 am ,they agreed and they didn't. We asked them to book a taxi for our departure flight. They confirmed that it will be booked and they didn't. They just showed us the way to the road where we could catch our taxi ourselves. And with all our luggage, we walked nearly half a kilometres at 4:00 am to get a metered taxi to the airport. This was all so unprofessional. The coffee shop inside the hotel is good and food was also great but the the local hotel staff they have hired to service guests must be replaced with the people knowing English properly. Afterall, international trip asks for it. There was no waiter around for nearly 20 minutes once we ordered food and they strictly didn't accept any order after 10 pm. Chao Phraya river is very near and you can take a boat easily in daytime from a pier which is at walking distance but no ferry returns to this pier after 7:00 pm and again getting taxi to this place is a difficult and costly affair.

Excellent service, staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel and all inferior is new, except the control button for window curtain in the room does not really work. I had to press for several times. Room is sound-proofed with exceptional city view. I really enjoyed the view at night. The minor thing is that the chinese restaurant and skybar didnt open on the date we stay at the hotel so we couldn't experience that. But overall experience here is good, worth the money :)

I choose this hotel because the staff are friendly and helpful to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It is located near to Huai Khwang MRT (Blue line) thus making commuting more convenient especially in Bangkok traffic. The room is well maintain and comfortable. The buffet breakfast has wide variety of selection. I will recommend this hotel business travel.

The hotel has excellent security, cleanliness, and the location is great. It is convenient to go out to find food / to stay in the hotel for take-out. There are many snack stalls / fruit stalls nearby, and there are also pharmacies and super near 711 (after leaving the gate) There are really too many 711s within a hundred meters, at least five); turn right and you can quickly walk to the street where the overpass is located. I changed to a double room because I lived alone. The interior of the room is a compact type I like (although it is more compact but has all the necessary facilities); breakfast is included with the reservation. Breakfast time is 6: 00-10: 00am. There is no chance to eat (it's too late). Next, I will say a few features of the hotel: the rooms are not central air-conditioned but the independent air-conditioning in each room. This is very important at the moment; the check-in area and my hotel room are not in the same building, almost all The front desk staff speaks at least three languages, Thai, English, and Chinese. The sisters at the front desk who check in are fluent in Chinese and can communicate without barriers. There is a printer at the front desk of the building where my room is located. I would like to consult a nearby print shop. At the time, the front desk staff was very enthusiastic and helped me print a few times, and when I consulted information other than their agent (such as I want to take a photo of the ID), I also actively gave suggestions and directions, heard that my computer could not be charged, and immediately borrowed Give me the plug converter, the service sense is really excellent. Another point to note is that my room is located on the second floor outside the street, so I can hear the sound of singing all day long on the street shops. Although it will be turned off at night, people who care about this may be affected during siesta. , Remember to explain to the front desk as far as possible to choose a room outside the street; my personal words because I think it sounds good, it does not feel very affected. Attached photos: 1 is the front desk of the room where the room is located, 2-4 is the interior of the room, 5-6 is the nearby street view (there seems to be a park to go in for a walk, but I have not been there), 7 is just downstairs the night market ( But in fact it is available throughout the day) and it is very affordable fruit.
