The hotel is about 10 minutes away from the bus station and the railway station, so it is easy to find. The room booked can accommodate 4 people, but we only have 3 people. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk to the river and the station. Walked it both night and day and I felt very safe. Reception is clearly signposted and you walk through a little outdoor area with chairs and tables to get there. There is a lovely reception/restaurant area (where you can also grab your coffees) Check in was easy and fast. The staff were very friendly. We seem to have a large room with a balcony area which had a couple of chairs and a table outside (not every room had this). Restaurant was open from about 7/8am where I was able to grab a coffee and soft drink. A clothed Iron was available on request. We explored the city at night and the reception area was shut by the time we got back but the room keys gave us access through a different door which was really useful. Overall, we had a really pleasant stay and I would absolutely return.

The hostel was very cozy and a convenient location. Although it is not actually in Lucerne the bus station is right outside and you get free tickets! The beds were very comfortable and we slept great. However, the check in desk has nobody there from 11 am to 4 pm check in... where were we supposed to put our luggage? Also, the shower wouldn't drain and was very small and gross. If you're a budget traveler, I would still recommend staying here!

The new women's rooms in the Hotel Waldegg are simply terrific!!! So many details in PINK: the comfortable armchair, the decoration, the women's calender, the yoga mat!! They have thought of everything that makes women feel good. Beautiful harmonious ambience. good bed Enough space. Nice bath. View of the Pilates. Very tasty food in the restaurant. And very friendly and dedicated staff. I'll be back!!

Almost the cheapest hotel in Lucerne.. It's a brand of its own, and it was clean and the room was large. The parking fee is about 12 francs, and if you pay in advance along with the tourist tax, you will receive a transportation pass voucher. With that, I used the bus several times to go to the city, and there was no problem even if I got on the wrong bus. There was a mart, McDonald's, and Subway nearby, so it was good to buy snacks.

Clean and tidy hotel, about 15 minutes walk from the train station. Originally set a double room, the hotel gave a four-person room. The public bathroom is right at the door and it is convenient. The city of Lucerne is small and it is very fast going anywhere.

I really was looking just somewhere to sleep over night. I was out all day from 8am till late. For those hours there is no good transport getting to or leaving the Hotel. Everything was amazing. Very clean. The room had no air-con, so it was very hot. There was a fun. The cows are just outside and their bells are making noises all night. The fruit and vegetable van arrived at about 8am again just outside my room and making delivering noises again. Perhaps the hotel should supply some ear plugs.

We had booked 2 nights and arrived in the evening. The cable car and the cog railway end right in front of the reception. In the evening there was a wonderful 4-course menu that you can put together as an option. We were given excellent advice on the choice of drinks. We were seated and had another table the next night. We were lucky with the weather and were able to enjoy the sunrise from the bed. The breakfast is a buffet with everything your heart desires. We were given a valley and a mountain ride from the hotel. We came within 5 m of the ibex. The sunset is just spectacular from the highest point. The stay on the Pilatus is also an unforgettable experience thanks to the ”imperial weather” and the many photos.
