I traveled with a friend in Segamat and we decided to book this hotel because it has option of breakfast. Location : The location is pretty strategic and neat. It is located within walking distance (3mins) to the Bus Station and also just 2 mins walk from the one and only shopping complex in Segamat named One Segamat. The shopping complex is bleak and stark, but it has a nice cinema. The hotel itself is easy to find but confusing when you are trying to 'enter' the parking lot. Everyone has to pay RM 1 to enter the parking. So every time we exit and enter the hotel area which is connected to the shopping complex, we have to pay the parking fee. Reception : The recep area is a bit small but convenient. No queue can be formed in front of the table as 3 people standing in a line will make the 'lobby' quite a full house. The table is small but the area is clean enough. The guy in the table is surprisingly quiet but helpful. The process is smooth but not so quick. Room : I am surprised that the room has no window. But in terms of size, it is okay. There is a walking space for 2 of us and for us to put some bags. The bathroom is big and the water heater works extremely well. The wardrobe is simple but functioning fine. My only problem is, the plughead is located at the far end of the room, opposite of the table. That makes it very inconvenient. Breakfast : Simple buffet breakfast. The menu of the day were : toasted bread, cereal, lontong sup, nasi lemak, kuih malay and fruit. Theyre very nice but the nasi lemak is very spicy. I ended up eating the lontong twice. So yummy. The area is a bit small, but it is complete. The juice is okay but the coffee is bitter. Cleanliness : The area outside (parking) is a bit dirty. There is a bamboo tree outside and the leaves just went everywhere. The area in reception is clean and the room is clean enough. but thru my stay, the room is very sticky, unsure why. Recommendation : I totally recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Segamat. It is simple and complete.

Along the national highway, you can easily find it by walking 7-8 minutes from the bus terminal and station in Sugamat. There is no elevator, only stairs, but because it is a three-story building, unless the luggage is large, I think there is no problem. The room is not so clean, but it is clean, considering that the hotel is about $10 per night, this is no problem. The hot water in the shower also has water pressure and temperature, which is not a problem for tropical areas. There are few shops not far away, but if you go east along the national highway, there will be such restaurants, and there are convenience stores in the hotel, so there is no difficulty.

My choice of hotel everytime I went to Segamat for work purposes. Hotel location is strategically central to mostly everything. Major F&B outlets are just a stone away, some are even located within the same building. KFC, Texas Chicken, McDonalds, Marrybrown are all within 1-5min walk from the hotel and most are operated 24hrs daily. Even the nearest local foodcourt are just 7min walk away. Convenient store like 7 Eleven and Billion supermarket located next to Hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious, worth every dollars spent. Facilities within the room works well...the AC is cold, the water heater and wifi work nicely.. the only setback is they dont have minibar within room and the ironing board are located at the end of each floor (you cant move it)...but that not really a big deal to me. Ample parking space located at the basement and they are free for hotel guest.

Arrived after a long drive, company booked us to try this place out after good reviews from others. Checking in was a pain and tense - did not feel welcomed and if not due to the long day spent on the road already, would have moved to a separate place to stay. The lady manning the front desk at the time (Ain) was not only rude but the tone used towards the person who brought us there to check in was truly unacceptable. On the other hand, there are others there that are really an asset to the hotel worth mentioning - I have met and talked to other staffs throughout our stay there (Chinese lady, Jue) - they were really helpful and cheerful. Room I was in was tiny but functional and amnesties like hair dryer, and an ironing board in the hallway are good surprises. Despite the smaller room size and not having a fridge in-room, the air con works well and the room is spotless. The surrounding area looked safe enough even at night and a good touch to have a security personnel around in the evening. It’s the end of about 2 blocks from a big Starbucks and 7-Eleven with a cafe selling pearl milk tea just few lots down that operates till midnight daily. Weary business travelers will be glad to find a massage parlor just few steps away from the hotel. This hotel has a lot of potential and caters really well to short stay travelers (I would have given five stars honestly) but having to put up with bad mannerism especially it’s the first impression representing the hospitality of the institution leaves a really bad taste in the mouth.

The deluxe queen room was very well-maintained, the bed, toilet and the floor of the room were very clean. My husband had a night's stayover at the hotel after going to a friend's wedding dinner, and had his much needed rest there. There's a 7-11 convenience store nearby where visitors can get their snack fix or to get a simple breakfast. It's also a few minutes' ride to the Segamat Express Bus Terminal.
