Don't look elsewhere - this place is beautiful - from the kind people to the indie decor to the picturesque location. They have a gorgeous natural beauty shop (I bought quite a bit), free yoga and a great breakfast. Great restauatrant Earth Tone around the corner and a coffee shop as well :)

Just a 10 minute scooter ride outside of town, it is an incredible spot to relax, overlook the swampy ricefields and rest. Make sure you have a scooter or bicycle to move around because it is not that close to town. Very close to the white buddha and checkout earth tone for breakfast! if you are 6 people is better to rent the house and if you are 4 people is better to boom separate bungalows of 2 people!

My partner and I stayed here for a few nights and loved it. The vibes were exactly what we were looking for. Plenty of open space and room to work. Really cool hangout area. Firepit, guitar...I couldn't ask for more. It's about 3 minutes from the town center on a scooter, which was perfect for us. Boo was very friendly and sweet.

When we arrived at the hotel and checked in, the front desk had to charge the room fee at the beginning, and repeatedly told them that we had already paid online, and I didn’t know if we didn’t understand if we kept asking us to pay the room fee. After half a day of communication, she called to confirm that there was no charge . The exterior design of the house is very flavorful and unique, and the surrounding environment is very quiet, that is, the toilets are simply decorated and surrounded by big green trees and big ants that can sting people. The breakfast was very good. It seemed simple but balanced in nutrition. The lean meat porridge was very in line with Chinese tastes. The taste was good. The waiters were very enthusiastic and attentive. They knew we were going to the station for a ride and sent us to the station! The location is a little bit far away from the county seat. It is a pity that it is not convenient to go out to visit the night market at night. Sitting in the yard and having breakfast in the morning is great!

I’ll start by saying we’re really not the type of people to complain... We arrived full of excitement as we had treated ourselves to 2 nights, the most expensive of our trip, and at first were blown away by the views in the distance (the views close up, however, left a bit more to be desired - ruining what otherwise was a breathtaking vista). The hotel is a little old fashioned and the amenities have seen better days and the WiFi barely functioned. The bedroom itself was okay, very basic and somewhat underwhelming. However the shock came in our bathroom which was infested with what must have been thousands of ants. We promptly told reception and they sent a staff member up to spray the room (for about 10 mins). What followed was all of the ants dead in the bathroom - in the bath, on the floor, in the sink - and no staff member returned to clean this up. We had to clean on no less than 4 occasions all of the dead ants that continued to fall from the ceiling (they must have been in the roof). To add to this the room continued to be contaminated by the stench of bug spray throughout our whole trip. This whole encounter made us seriously question the cleanliness of the place as a whole - how had they not seen the state of the infestation if they had cleaned the room in the last day? We couldn’t return to the bathroom without wearing flip flops. The positives (the view, a free shuttle service to and from town, and a breakfast delivered to the room) were unfortunately massively outweighed by the negatives mentioned above - maybe we were just unlucky. Regardless this place seemed hugely overpriced as it was the worst place we’ve stayed in during a month in Thailand and the most expensive by some distance.

My partner and I stayed here for 8 nights, purely for the price and the gorgeous accommodation and it’s accompanying views. We stayed in the cabin, complete with ensuite. The bed was comfy enough, plenty of hot water, great aircon and the views of the neighbouring rice fields were gorgeous to wake up to. Be prepare for a few animal visitors at night, including the quite noisy, heavy footed geckos. The staff’s English wasn’t the best which made things a little difficult, which I fine but their attitude towards us wasn’t the best either, ignoring us or waking away from us when in the middle of trying to communicate.

Looking for a place a bit out of town but still not too far away to walk to dinner? A pool to relax and refresh after exploring the area? Big bungalows in a natural setting? Easily accessible if you come by car? If you are looking for all these things - this could be the right place! We enjoyed our stay and the whole property was very green, well-kept and quiet (felt like renting a private and exclusive place) as there were very few guests in October (pre-season). Our room next to the little river was very good and quite big. As we traveled the area with a rental car, this was a great place to explore the surroundings of Pai! A little downside: no restaurants really nearby, but walking over the bridge was manageable even as a family (just watch out for traffic at the main road). If you get lost: look for signs to the Fluid Swimming Pool (but the Resort itself has put up enough signs as well). Some recommendable breakfast options during our stay: Paris Bakery with great home baked bread and The House Café right over the little river (rice field view included if the season is right). For dinner in the riverside road leading to the walking street our favorite place was the Witching Well - good food and very attentive service!

We decided to stay here because we had such a good stay with their Hostel in Chiang Mai.. Their Pai hostel did not disappoint, expectations were out done! They've got cute little bungalow's as dorm rooms that come equipped with a duvet which is such a nice touch, especially in Pai as it is cold at night time. As the hostel is brand new it's so clean. Few con's it's a little bit of a walk out of town (10minutes), but location is still spot on location wise as it's SO new it's not overly social however we did meet a few people here and for the showers to come out hot they must be on a really low pressure! Next door has a pool you can use for the day, really cool place to visit! The price is so cheap as well. I totally recommend this place to anybody coming to Pai.

The breakfast is mainly western food, the taste is average, there is a parking lot, the location is remote, and there are farmland and cattle around. Very rustic luxury homestay (hotel facilities are very simple), take pictures, young people rowing. Had a dinner at the hotel, the taste was okay, I ordered all six dishes that were not spicy, and a local aunt cooked all the dishes. When I drive to Pai County, the detours are similar to the mountain roads in Miyun and Huairou. Stayed for two nights, Pai County is high in altitude, you can pick the stars, the air is good, and you sleep quietly. Pai County is a Huairou Farmhouse. Don’t have high requirements for the comfort of food and accommodation. The prices of Pai County are not low compared to the simple folk customs. Look at the sea of clouds to the top of the mountain at six o'clock in the morning. Pink, yellow, and upside down, every small spot in each cottage has a large area for taking pictures behind it. The cross-country motorcycle across the road from the Yellow Hut is cost-effective. UTV+ATV is 1050THB for half an hour, and it has been around for an hour. There are mountains and water.

The owner and his wife are so humble, helpful and friendly. We booked 5 rooms and stayed for 2 nights. As it was in December, the weather was rather chilling, below 10 degrees. The owner put up woods for us to light up fire outside at night without us requesting. He and his wife manages the entire resort themselves. The room is very clean and comfortable. Amazing! He and his wife cooked breakfast in the morning for all the guests and kept refilling the food. It was indeed our best experience staying in a resort in Thailand where the owner served and chatted with us during our stay. There is nothing more valuable and memorable than taking a picture with him and his wife and courier it to him. We just want to express our heartfelt thanks for the 6-star hospitality!

I stayed at Baan Krating for two nights and was pleasantly surprised. The pictures do not quite do this place justice, and it is based on lovely premises, with lovely little chalets/bunglaows dotted around. The rooms are pretty spacious with a nice bathroom. However, some guests did report that they did not have hot water in their showers. The rooms also have a little back porch that looks out over the surrounding landscape, which is very pretty. My only complaints were that a) the wifi does not reach all the rooms, so I had to go to reception whenever I wanted to use it, b) our AC would not switch off, which made the room very cold at night, and c) the mattresses are pretty hard (although this does seem pretty standard for Thailand). Overall though, I was pleasantly surprised, the breakfast was relatively good, and the staff were lovely.

Perfect location, tasty breakfast, quite spacious room: in other words, in this guesthouse you’ll find everything you need. The room a little bit dirty and old , but if you have no plans to sit in the hotel all day long it won’t be a problem for you.

We visited the resort and spa for the day after being let down by the natural hot springs at the national park. We throughly enjoyed our visit but I took away a star for the restaurant as the food was just not great. Great massage for 450 Baht with use of resort facilities to include swimming pool and hot springs pools. The temperature of the smaller hot spring was super hot but one could manage to get in for a quick dip or two for a few seconds without scolding. The gardens seem well maintained for a three star resort in Thailand. Nice grounds with beautiful mountain and review views and nice sunlight during golden hour. You may also get a chance to see some elephants walking down from the restaurant or the larger pool. The large pool is refreshing and clean. The smaller pool was dirtied with leaves and looked a bit older. There are a few sun beds on the patio but there were no cushions. The larger hot spring is a comfortable temperature and possibly smelly from sulfur? Overall, I recommend a day pass as there isn't much to experience luxury wise in Pai anyways. I was able to take a peak inside the superior rooms which are located closet to the pool and they seemed well maintained and clean. There are other rooms on this resort that do appear depressing and in need of some TLC though. All I kept thinking the entire time we visited was this must have been an amazing resort when it was first built. The staff were friendly and as a matter of fact once we paid our fee we never really seen or heard from them again. Great way to spend a few hours of your day. We were grateful to find the place because we came from a real slum called the Rainbow house. Now that one was atrocious! Travel tip: Bring shower shoes, towel and mosquito spray!

While this is 20 mins walk or 5 min drive away from the main walking street, the tranquil surroundings aid in peaceful sleep apart from a few roosters crowing in the morning. The hotel is very safe as the owner will lock it up with an electronic locker from 11pm. Cozy and not crowded at all....with 7 eleven nearby as well. The owner is a really nice and honest chap who passed me back money that i accidentally dropped at the resort. The space may be tiny but for a solo traveller, it was gd. The room is clean and bed relatively comfortable. But the shower heater doesnt seem to work well. The staff are warm and friendly. While the breakfast is simple, it has a good home cooked meal. And yes it is just next door to Pai Yoga Shala a lovely yoga studio run and owned by nice Thai lady. Dropped in for a nice yoga class in the morning and enjoyed the vinyasa class.
