My husband and I were getting married in Bryan (on an Aggie home game weekend), so we decided to opt for a low key hotel and not spend entirely too much money (we did just pay for a wedding). Checking in was a bit slow, but understandable. The lady working the front desk was trying to handle a multitude of issues over the phone. I work in hospitality (and have for the past 10 years), so I understand it happens. The lobby was nice, and had a beautiful water feature as you walk in the door. The room we received I believe was in upgrade and it was larger than I expected; this was pleasant. The rooms and interior hallways were not well taken care of. I feel the hotel is being neglected. There are repairs that need to be done. While I understand that even minor fixes are expensive, there are many inexpensive ways to maintain the look of your rooms until you can fix them. This was the most unacceptable thing for me. The staff was friendly, especially the breakfast attendant. The breakfast itself wasn’t the best our party has ever had, but it did the job. I felt safe. The room we were in was facing the highway, but we couldn’t hear it. Overall a good stay.

To whom it may concern. The Best western Premier at Bryan College Station was by far one of the best places I have stayed at. The rooms were so clean they almost sparkled. The sheets were crisp and clean and best of all the complimentary water was absolutely refreshing. The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower water was sublime. But most of all the service was the most stunning. By far the best performance of any Best Western Premier staff member has to go to, give it up for “insert drumrolll”, BERNARD!!! He was extremely helpful and patient when I asked him about the ingredients in the breakfast foods. As a vegan, pescatarian, vegetarian, and carrier of 3 oddly specific autoimmune diseases, it can be very difficult to find food. However, Bernard not only helped me make sure the breakfast was safe, but he also made me feel welcomed (I had a spectacular ice cold glass of water for breakfast for the 4 days I was at the hotel). Bernard is a 10/10 staff member and I genuinely appreciate his amazing service. As a Californian, I can say he truly made Texas seem like a welcoming and friendly place. I even suggest that he run for public office in Texas as he has the perfect combination of entrepreneurial spirit and heart. In conclusion, my visit to the Best Western Premier at Bryan College Station was fantastic and made even better by the amazing staff members. -Tony: official honorary Member of the U.S International Space Force

I was almost robbed at this hotel and one of the staff members she was really rude and disrespectful to me. I had a hard time staying here especially with no hot water to shower with the first room was covered in mold and everything was dirty, I will be uploading pictures. I never got my extra problem is that I requested for a specific reason and I was told by a lady named Christie if I didn’t like how we were being treated then we could go somewhere else. All my husband and I wanted was a refund for all the troubles we had gone through and it was only a refund for one night we would just sacrifice the other two nights even though we didn’t get what we wanted and had the first room look disgusting.... I have been here multiple times and never in my life what I have expected to be miss treated so bad and have to deal with so much from a rude woman and a dirty hotel room. The only thing a different employee (I forgot his name but he was nice) did while we were here was change the room for us when we went to the room late that first night we stayed...... my overall experience was very unsatisfying and I was extremely disrespected.😐

My wife and I had a great time in Bryan this weekend. We spent some wonderful quality time with our daughters, their spouses and our grand baby. This was our first stay at the LaSalle. Over the past eight years we have stayed in almost every hotel, inn and motel there is in Bryan/College Station. As it stands now, the LaSalle has beat them all. Not on all fronts, but for the most part. The customer service from your staff was top notch. We have not been treated like we matter in a long while. Everyone was tentative to our needs and made sure we had a great time. We were able to upgrade our room to a suite upon arrival and made it so much better. We also utilized both bars. The one on the first floor and the speak easy. Everyone was fantastic to us. Our room (304) had great views and we loved all the windows. It was spacious enough with plenty of room to move around. The location of the hotel is great. Walking distance to anything you need, weather permitting.

The room was clean and comfortable, unfortunately our room was by the house keeping closet which was noisy first thing in the morning as the housekeepers started work. The guest next to us had their TV on all night long and the volume loud. It kept us up most of the night. This was not managements fault. I thought of knocking on their door and asking for them to turn down the volume, but did not want to cause problems. I also thought of calling the front desk, but did not. The room was fine. Could have had 2 coffee packets for morning coffee, but only had one each of Regular and Decaf. Toilet tissue was the cheapest they could get, 3/4 sheets and rough. Overall stay was OK for a place to sleep and shower.

I've seen lots of reviews about the place and after staying here for nearly two weeks (with more of a stay ahead of us), I have decided to write my own. First I want to state that the bad reviews should be taken with a grain of salt. Even some of the nicer hotels I have been to have had problems at times- we stayed at many different ones during our long road trip and this is one of the best ones for general room amenities vs. cost, beating out even some of the bigger name brand hotels. Our room was what I'd describe as adequately clean: no excessive debris or anything left from previous stays, everything in working order, no major stains or anything. Only really close inspection shows some degree of uncleanliness, but only very minor. The A/C works great, there's even a ceiling fan and a microwave. The fridge was surprisingly big (much larger than the typical tiny fridges in some places). Best of all is the owner, whom has been friendly and worked quickly to correct what few issues there have been. Bugs? Haven't seen any in here save for maybe two non-pest bugs so far that just naturally got in (it's almost summer and it's a humid state, it's expected that a few may sneak in if you stay long enough). I haven't had the breakfast yet but from what I hear, it's appropriately simple for a budget hotel. Lastly, the internet: I feel like this is the biggest issue. The connection is weak, despite multiple connection points and sometimes dips out. It works for e-mail and video watching, but the latter at standard definition for best results. All said, this place has been really good to us and should be given a chance by anyone passing through on a budget.

This hotel was reasonably priced and allowed for pets. We have been struggling in the past with finding someone to care for our pets so to be able to bring them was great. The room has a modern feel and has hard floors so no stained carpets and etc. Carl was great a checkin and was quick with getting us in a room. They even had gift packs. Will stay here for most of the Aggie games.

I hadn't been to the area in decades, and I needed a central location for a quick visit. I couldn't have been more pleased, as the Fairfield Inn is a reliable brand with a property well located on Texas Avenue near University. TAMU is a short walk or drive, and Hensel Park along with the Horticulture Gardens are a block away. The check-in was painless, efficient, and staff super-helpful with local information. It's a well-maintained property and very clean. Government rates are $96 a night, with regular rates in the $94-97/night range. Watch for specials. It's worth booking for business or pleasure. My general gripes about Fairfield breakfast offerings apply here as at other properties. It's nothing special but will get you moving in the morning. The food quality was pretty average. I opted to skip it and got an early start onward. By no means is this a perfect hotel, but it's a solid choice for value and comfort.

We weren’t supposed to stay at the Stella, but ended up there when our hotel as oversold. To be upfront, I didn’t pay for the night, as it was covered by our original hotel free of charge. The Stella is located away from the action of College Station, but in an area that might be robust one day. For now, it is all homes and the hotel near a lake. There is ample free parking. It is a nice hotel. The front desk is a table in the lobby staffed by many friendly folks. There Is also a restaurant and two bars in the lobby. We had a drink in one of them, and it was a nice space. I had a king room and it was quite large. Besides the bed, there was a couch in the room. The bathroom was also large, with a walk in shower and a separate room with the toilet. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Overall, even though it wasn’t my original plan to stay there, I would be happy to return again!

We were in Bryan/College Station for the UTSA-A&M football game. We had a great experience with this hotel with friendly staff, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Oh, and blackout panels! A big plus for me. I also really liked that there were two thermostat controls, one for the living area and a separate one for the bedroom. My husband used the gym and said it was small but had everything he needed. The only negatives were the HDMI cable hardwired in our room would not connect to the TV so we couldn’t watch a PPV event; not a life-changer, but inconvenient. The second thing is that their shampoo and body wash are the exact same thing, just labeled differently. This may not matter to some, but as a girl with colored hair, washing my hair with body wash is not optimal. I will definitely bring my own shampoo next time. Overall very good experience. A few miles away from Kyle Field and North Gate, but very nice. Would definitely recommend to others and would stay here again.

Just about a year old, this Holiday Inn Express is so well maintained, you would think it opened yesterday. Exceptionally clean everywhere! The main lobby is constantly swept, mopped, dusted and cleared of any litter left behind by guests. The room was large; comfortable, and efficient. The clean decor has lots of open space for counters, luggage storage, make-up, etc. Large shower, bright lights in the bath (a wonderful change of pace from most hotel chains that make the baths dark out of necessity). Oh, and quiet. I couldn't hear a peep from any other guests. Breakfast? Not your usual dehydrated eggs. There's a "buffet" of egg & cheese omelets and egg white & vegetable omelets. Yes, omelets. Not scrambled. The bacon is cripsy, the sausage patties (not links) were the size of a burger. Plenty of pastries, fruits, a few cereal choices, real oatmeal, yogurt, juices and here's the kicker....a pancake machine that rolls of 2 pancakes in about a minute. And they were pretty darn good. Coffee is available 24/7 ... friendly desk clerks also available 24/7. Now, let you think I'm a paid employee .... my only "negative" is the pillows are duck feathers and as my wife is allergic, we were disappointed to learn the hotel doesn't offer non-allergic options. Something to improve upon. But she'll live with puffy eyes for a day ... this hotel is a gem. And very conveniently located. Highly recommend.
