Stayed one night in Park Hotel & Spa. The location is excellent adjacent to the river and a short 10 mins walk to central Skopje. However I find the hotel is in a need of upgrade as it has begun to run down. Bed - comfortable Room ambiance - slightly darker than I like. The room was warm as there is control to the room temperature which was a bit uncomfortable for me. Bathroom & toilet - hand shower not working only the overhead shower. This is very inconvenient. The toilet bowl wobbly. Really needs to improve. TV - unable to switch on. Does not know how it really works. Amenities in room is very good Breakfast - very good spread especially the eggs, cheeses, ham, bread, etc. Definitely this hotel need an upgrade

We stayed in the hotel for 6 nights, Great service from the Receptionist. Breakfast was good, Location is great right in the middle of old bazar. Great nearby markets, and shops. We found a taxi driver at the hotel, so no time wasted which was great.

I stayed here in March 2019 for one night as part of my trip around the Balkans. The hotel is in a great location right in the centre of the old town and next to the Bazaar and lots of little shops and restaurants. The man on reception was very friendly and welcoming. The room was basic however it was really clean and the bed was comfortable. For the price this was an excellent option. I would recommend Motel Atika to anyone visiting Skopje. Skopje is a great city which is currently going through a lot of modernisation and work.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The Gold theme is slightly quirky but it is the hotels unique selling point. The hotel was spotless clean, the rooms were serviced daily and the staff were polite and friendly. It is brilliantly located a minute’s walk from the Old Bazaar and it is just a 5-10 minutes walk through the old town to the modern city centre. Skopje’s tourist industry is young and there are things they should do to improve this and I suggest the learnings need to be applied across the hotel industry too. Overall we thought the hotel was perfect for our three day stay in Skopje, would recommend it.

The room was clean and spacious. There was a Plasma TV and in the bathroom a bath tube. We had breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was plain, l mean no fruits or varities, but it was enough. However, dinner was excellent, a big meatball, salad and fried patatoes and a sweet. lt would have been better if they had served a drink with them. My overall impression is good. You can prefer this hotel comfortably.

I travel to Skopje on a yearly basis and stay for over a month. My wife is Macedonian and we visit her parents. When there, my life is very connected to the Aleksandar Palace. I do not stay in their rooms but join the gym and eat regularly at the Tennis Club. The staff are friendly and the food is excellent. Special thanks to Dejan for always treating me like a king in the restaurant and also to Katrina and Robert in the gym. It doesn't get better than that. I even had special requests for the restaurant and the operations manager assisted in ensuring those were followed. Friends that have stayed at the hotel say that the rooms are excellent. Great value for what is offered. A great place to hang out when in Skopje.

Former aparthotel, it could not manage the high demand of hotwater for and 40+ group of people. You needed to choose carefully the shower time. The breakfast was cheese and egg oriented and without vegetables. The staff understands only basic english (hardly).

A éviter.

The hotel is quite hidden but it is actually very close (walking distance) to the Old Bazaar and the Stone Bridge. The room is not so big but the space is sufficient. Beds are comfy, and room is clean. Since the hotel is rather small, they don't have elevator, but there's no harm walking up few flight of stairs :)

If you are looking for the perfect spot. Look no further. From the moment I booked this location for my husband.. mainly location and trip advisor reviews the service had been nothing but outstanding. They deliver in every area. They are on WhatsApp and no matter what time of the day or night they reply and reply quickly. First.. immediately after booking they reached out with helpful suggestions how to connect. Having WhatsApp a big plus. My husband was able to take a bus and Victor our contact came met my husband and took him to a place that gives best exchange for money. (Airport is not the best) then he provided him with maps and indicated someone would clean apartment. My husband was happy with clean towels and bed changed weekly. I think they do as you like.He was there close to 3 weeks . They are very prompt to answer you should you need something. My husband had a balcony and loved each morning to go out check the weather and look at the montain. This is a perfect location. 2 blocks from train/bus station. My husband went to see a couple of attractions and just purchased tickets same day to go. There is a modern mall near by beautiful decorated for Christmas ..He walked everywhere..to the square bazar. He found a pastry shop near the bridge they had the best Custurd..Also nice vendors at the square. One particular one, crafts his own jewelry. And pretty reasonable. If you have come to this site and the location works for you I highly recommend . My husband loved to have roots in one place each night. He had a very spacious apartment. Bed kitchen livingroom nice shower fridge stove and washing machine.. think he might have been 3rd floor but he got great pictures from the balcony. Last day he said..I think I'm going to miss my trips to the balcony. As a side note they can arrange cab to and from airport. You know it's safe as they have a long relationship with the company. The last day I had arranged a 2 am cab To go to the airport. Within an hour or so before pic up the airline suddenly cancelled and provided a much later flight. Frantically I reached out to Victor to cancel earlier cab and arrange new one for later flight. Honestly within 10 min of my request he had it changed. Reduced my stress.I think if you book here it'd be great for short stays but very comfortable for longer ones. Lots of interesting things to see.I highly recommend.

Solo travelling to different parts of the world has given me the advantage of getting to know a bit more about the world we live in. That's why, sharing my experiences with everyone else is something special to me. My first two nights were spent at the 3.5-star hotel, Dolce International Hotel. Let me share with you my experience, starting with the positive sides: • The breakfast buffet was quite decent. • The receptionist was communicative and helpful. • The hotel was surrounded by several restaurants of different varieties. • The room was acceptable. However, the negative points include things like: • There was no restaurant in the hotel. I arrived at around 10:30 in the evening and wasn’t able to eat a quick meal in the hotel. • There was an Eiffel Tower picture hung up on the wall instead of a Macedonian monument. These were the main points that caught my attention. Personally, I think that hanging pictures of Macedonian scenery would be more efficient that using external monuments. It would help improve the tourism of the country. I could recommend this hotel for someone’s stay. Hope this review is beneficial to everyone. If you’d like to have a look on some of my pictures, you can check my instagram account, @bint__battuta. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.💕

A very central hotel in the Old Bazaar district. A couple of minutes walk from Macedonia Square and the Stone Bridge. Rooms were very comfortable and nice bathroom with a walk-in shower. Breakfast was ample to start the day. Reception were able to organise a transfer for me from the airport to the hotel for 20 euro which really helped when I arrived in Skopje airport. This hotel was a bargain for the price I paid so will be staying here again next time I am in Skopje

This was our first stay in Bushi Resort & Spa (2 nights). The hotel is located centrally and is within short walking distance from the Kale Fortress, Museum of Contemporary Art, Old Bazaar and Main Square. Walking in the cobbled and sometimes angled streets of the Old Bazaar can be challenging if your pram doesn't have large wheels like ours. Have this in mind if you are travelling with a baby and pram. Positives: - Kind and helpful staff; - Decent sized room with walk in shower. Baby cot in the room upon arrival; - Modern flat screen television; - Complimentary cold and hot beverages; - Complimentary cosmetics; - Free WiFi. Good signal on all floors; - Great location. Short walking distance to Main Square and most tourist attractions; - Great breakfast selection. Highlights include pancakes, waffles, croquettes, omelettes and premium coffee; - Decent spa which is equipped with a locker room, showers, pool, Jacuzzi, treadmill, hammam, Finnish sauna and Salt sauna. Massages and other treatments are available to guests for an extra charge. Entry to the spa is included in the room rate. Robes and slippers are provided to guests free of charge in the rooms. Extra towels are provided to the guests free of charge upon request at the spa reception; and - Excellent top floor restaurant offering great views of the city. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food on offer. Negative: - No lift to reach our room (No. 316). It should be noted that most rooms in the hotel can be reached by lift. However, the staff made things easier for us by storing the pram in the luggage room on the ground floor so that it would be easy to go up and down the stairs with the baby. Conclusion: I would definitely book there again. Highly recommended!

The staff here are excellent. They are friendly, attentive and speak very good English. The food in the Fish Restaurant was very good. We had Greek salad followed by octopus and squid. The waiter paced the courses exactly as we asked and the wine was very pleasant too. The room was large and comfortable with a spacious bathroom. Breakfast was good too with plenty of choice. WIFI was reliable also. Many thanks for a lovely stay. Only criticism was tgecawful music in the dining/breakfast room - too loud and dreadful quality.

The Arka is a modern building right next to the Old Bazar. The staff are friendly and speak adequate English. Before my stay, I enquired about airport transfers and received a reply in less than an hour, which was impressive! A taxi from Skopje airport to the hotel costs 20 euros, but for 25 euros, the hotel arranges a pick-up, with the driver waiting outside customs with your name on a sign. Much appreciated, and the 5 euro premium is well worth it considering the potential hassle with taxi drivers. Note that the reception will only accept denars and credit cards, and will not exchange money. I had booked a Club Room. The name is misleading, as the room does not grant you access to a club since there is no such thing at the hotel. The room, however, is larger and comes with some extra amenities including a bathrobe and slippers. There are umbrellas in the lobby for guest use. The room was of average size and had a certain Soviet vibe (think worn out fitted carpets, desks of yellowish wood, light moss green chairs, heavy curtains, etc.) The bed was a bit soft to my liking, and it wasn’t actually a kingsize bed, but two singles put together. Wifi was fast and reliable. There was a safe in the room, as well as a 0.5 L water bottle (not replenished). The biggest letdown was that the room was lacking sockets. I had to unplug the bedside lamp to be able to charge my phone, and even the desk had no sockets available. The bathroom came with a separate bathtub and walk-in shower. Water pressure was excellent, but the water was lukewarm at best, so no hot showers here! Soap and shampoo was provided, but there was no body lotion or hair conditioner. Breakfast, included in the room rates, is served 7–10 am on the top floor, with views of the Old Bazar. There’s a splash pool in the breakfast room, apparently intended for guest use, but there was a sign forbidding entry. The unremarkable breakfast included an egg station with good, large omelettes, but otherwise the selection felt dire and basic. The hotel seemed very empty during my stay. However, the location is excellent for sightseeing and shopping in the Old Bazar. The walk to Macedonia Square in the modern centre will take at least 10 minutes. It seems that the Macedonian star system doesn’t demand much from hotels in its highest five-star category, as this hotel had been awarded five stars, which it clearly was not worth. By international standards, it might be considered on the lower end of the four star category, or perhaps three and a half stars. However, it was very moderately priced at €57 / night, so all things considered, I found the Arka to be of good value.

I have stayed at this hotel several times in a row. Breakfast is the same every day but the variety is quite rich. The front desk is very welcoming and I am happy every time I see it. The only downside is that the room is relatively small, but it’s in the city center, so you’ll get a lot of money

My wife and I stayed here 13-15th of October (two night stay) the hotel is located in the “Debar Malo” restaurant & cafe area. # check-in was quick efficient (English proficiency was good) # room clean modern and well appointed. We didn’t get off to the best start, we had no hot water (apparently the pump wasn’t functioning properly) however the hotel staff managed the situation very well, they immediately apologised (and they were sincere) and shortly afterwards they immediately upgraded us to the best room in the hotel😊👍 # buffet breakfast spread was very good...plenty of choices including freshly made omelette’s to order...excellent coffee served to your table...bravo! # check-out was quick and efficient...we had a 05:00 check-out because of an early flight from Skopje international airport going to Milan Italy ...the hotel reception called a cap for us and made us coffee whist we waited for the taxi...they even packed a special take away breakfast package for us THANK You very much 🙏 😊 # *SPECIAL MENTION* my wife and I wish to commend Biljana and Nikola for there excellent professionalism and courtesy. # We highly recommend this hotel..We’ll definitely will stay again!....bravo bravo bravo! 👏

Maybe brother and I walked around Skopje, trying to find something that was open and seemed ok. We decided on this restaurant because we had seen from the night before that it seemed popular. It was very quiet, but the waiters were completely respectful of how we wanted to eat. We had beers to start with, then we eat main dishes with wine and beer, and shared a dessert. Our waiter Igor was so sweet and answered all our "touristy" questions and recommending beers to my brother. He was so very sweet, and combined with super delicious food served timely, I'd 100% recommend stopping by if you like their menu. It was such a great evening and the service was perfect. We had the beef medallions and the selsko meso plate as shown in the photo.

The rooms are perfect. Huge rooms with plenty of space. The breakfast was everyday the same. I stayed for 4 nights and the breakfast was always the same. But nice. The tables during breakfast, lunch and dinner were not so clean. They did not clean it after one has used them. Also there were some waiters that were really too bored to help you. The coffee machine was out for order for three mornings, which is quite strange for a hotel. I thought that they could fix it in one day. But not. They charged for the espresso in the breakfast, although there was only a bad quality filter coffee available. The reception was friendly. There was a lot of "misunderstanding" to what we thought we agreed for. for example: since we had a late arrival, we had asked for a welcome dinner package. There was not on when we arrived. The next day they said that it was their mistake and since we were supposed to leave very early and miss the breakfast, their suggested to give us a fairwell breakfast package (not available when we left).

Joan apartments was absolutely amazing. The apartment was gorgeous and had everything we needed. It was clean and had all the necessities and it was beautifully designed and decorated to meet our needs. The host Hristina was very friendly and helpful. We could get our laundry done and were able to use bikes to go around the city. There was also a lovely swimming pool downstairs along with sauna and a jacuzzi. Good location, cheap price.
