0.06km from Svenska KlubbenMy wife and I stayed in this hotel for 11 nights in December, 2019 and January 2020. We had a small suite (same price) which was beautifully decorated, quiet and, by European standards, reasonably spacious. The only nit we had to pick with it was some sacrifice of utility to aesthetics. For example, the very modern, and attractive, fixturing of the bathroom created virtually no flat horizontal surfaces for such mundane items as pill boxes, toothpaste, etc., and while there was a large (by European standards, again) closet for hanging items, there were no drawers in case one was not used to hanging up, say, socks and underwear. I don't want to overstate the problem: we managed well and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The small (10 in total) staff were friendly and helpful, with many doubling their roles such as bellhop + breakfast server. Speaking of breakfast: uniformly excellent. We found the location, in the 1st Arrondissement, to be superb, essentially across the street from the Tuileries, a short walk from Musee l'orangerie and only slightly longer walks to the Louvre and Musee d'Orsay. Only the park separates the hotel from the river. The neighborhood is the home of the many, many high end fashion houses and while the goods were, literally, way above our pay grade, the buildings and windows were gorgeous, particularly at Christmas time. Also special at Christmas was a "Christmas Market" nearby in the Tuileries, operating from before Christmas until a week into the new year.
