9.35km from Onda BluGood things: ambiance, fabulous views from the bedroom balcony over the land and ocean, friendly staff, the absolute silence and calm at night, Price (50 euros per night, without breakfast) (60 euros with breakfast). Things to improve: mattresses are comfortable, however, they are metal sprung and very noisy. The mattress wakes you up each time you , or your partner, move. So, a truly dreadful nights sleep. Having a coffee on the bedroom balcony would be lovely, but there are no kettle or drink facilities in the bedrooms, which is a pity. There is a very limited meal menu (moussaka or lasagne) which we didn’t try, because we had already had moussaka for lunch. Overall : the hotel offers a taste of what hotels were like in the 1950’s. It is a little run down, but that just adds to the shabby chic charm. But, the dreadful mattresses mean few will stay more than one night. That is a pity, because this hotel deserves to survive. If the owners just replaced the mattresses, with some modern hotel standard ones, this hotel would be a great place to come and relax for a few days.
10.73km from Onda BluWe stayed as a family of 8 in number 5. The villas are located at the top of a very big hill so a car would be advisable. Our villa was very clean and tidy upon our arrival with easy instructions on how to enter the villa from Nicholas(really helpful site manager). Nicholas made himself available at any time for any help you might need via telephone and whats ap. The pool had a fault with a loose ladder into the water which caused us a safety concern with the children but after talking to Aaron, the maintainess man, he had it replaced within the hour. Fabulous service. Aaron will visit the pool every day to clean, again, fab. He is very friendly and takes the time to speak and ask where your from, etc. Remember to offer him a cold drink, he gladly accepted cold glasses of water!! Views from the villas are amazing as you are high up, stunning. We absolutely did not one single complaint. Perfect 1st family holiday. Lindos is is a short drive away and pefkos just a little further. Pefkos has more bars and restaurants. You can hire a boat or jet ski from the beach a short drive from the villas, also at the bottom of the hill you can hire quads and cars etc. Really lovely villas, you will not be daissapointed. Also on plus side, previous occupants had left their inflatables and toys that the children had great fun playing with, Thank you whoever you were xx

11.64km from Onda BluFirstly, thank you to our nice host George and his family and team, special thanks to Nico and the Chef Katarina, they made our stay here truly amazing and unforgettable. I booked this place as Airbnd apartment, in fact it is a cosy boutique hotel. The room is fully equipped for cooking breakfast and being independent, the place had a nice decent size swimming pool, bar and pool facilities are tops. My most fantastic experience appeared to be connected with the tavern, that belongs to this hotel. We tried hard to find anything in any other restaurant in the island even slightly similar to the food served in this place, and we failed. Literally, the best food for the best prices, we ended up dining here every night and enjoyed Every time. Swordfish fillet here is to die for, no kidding. My husband also said pork steak and saganaki fried cheese were the best in his life. We enjoyed our stay, made some friends from England, Russia, went fishing, explored almost all sights... And when you think you saw all, you just find out there is something else, waiting for your next visit. I definitely book George's place and highly recommend for its location, food and overall very warm homey atmosphere.

12.27km from Onda BluWe stayed here with some friends and it was okey. It’s kind of simple, more like a B&B than a hotel, but we almost liked it. The owner was nice, everything was clean, the WiFi as okey but didn’t work in some of the rooms but the beds (as always in Greece?) were hard. And there was no remote to the A/C so we couldn’t use it. The best was the nice terass on the 1st floor, and the worst was the breakfast. Poor selection and no real coffee. So I don’t know, I don’t think we will be back next time we’re in the neighbourhood.
12.39km from Onda BluWe've just returned from lovely Rhodes island (2 adults and a 5 year-old child) where we have stayed for 2 weeks in Pantheon. I can hardly remember any other place with such hospitality, atmosphere and great service on top. I want to say many-many thanks to Vasilis and his family for that tremendous work you do for your guests! Every day, when we used to return from our trips, it was a feeling of oasis within daily cleaned up spacious apartment, relaxed montain and garden view from the balcony (we lived on the 2nd floor) and family atmosphere. We also found that the middle-island location (Archangelos) is very convenient - it took us 10-12 min by car to reach scenic sandy beaches (e.g. Tsampika with long a coastline, Agathi with great underwater wildlife and an ancient castle) as well as it wasn't not far from the other points like Lindos, Rhodos Old Town, Monolithos etc. There is also a nice Stegna beach right near the village. The village itself is very cosy, with no crowds of tourists, hence it's a great chance to see how local people live. Also there is the whole infrastructure available within 5-10 min walk (supermarkets, fish/fruit market, taverns etc). Vasilis gives very detailed guidance about the places that is really helpful. I can highly recommend Pantheon as for me and my family it's one of the best places to stay and explore Rhodes! Vasilis, wish you and your family all the best! Regards, Alexandr, Veronika and Katerina :)
12.58km from Onda BluI have recently stayed here for five nights. The hotel is fantastic! The owners are exceptionally welcoming and friendly and will do everything to ensure you stay is comfortable. I stayed in a single room which was large and very comfortable. The balcony had a built in insect net and the air conditioning is fantastic. Rooms were serviced daily to a high standard. The pool and the pool area is spotless, and incredibly relaxing. The views of the mountains are incredible. The food is good quality and plentiful and the restaurant staff are very friendly. The hotel is less than a ten minute walk to the town centre which has a range of local shops and restaurants. A good bus route to local areas of interest as well (Rodos and Lindos), bus system easy to use. Local beach is stunning (Stegna) and well worth a visit. This hotel was perfect for a week of sun, rest and relaxation. I highly recommend this family run hotel and would definitely stay again.
13.09km from Onda BluWe stayed in the Golden View Studios at the end of May 2019. It was our first time in Rhodes (usually holiday in Corfu) but were attending a friends wedding at Ktima. We could no fault the apartments, They are comfortable, clean, with sheets an towels changed regularly. The pool area is lovely, everything is well maintained and clean. We had a late arrival but were welcomed by Apostolos who was a fabulous host, he was so helpful. We enjoyed catching up with him for chats during our stay. The only downside to our stay was the fact there is nowhere really within walking distance to eat out at night. You need to take a taxi or bus into Lindos. (which isn't far but couldn't walk it easily on the main roads). Having said that, Lindos is beautiful and has some fabulous restaurants which were recommended to us by Apostolos. If we were to visit these apartments again, we would hire transport which would make it easier to get around.

13.54km from Onda BluOur family spent a week in this lovely hotel. The rooms are modest but very clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our kids loved the pool, and they thought it was better than any of the beaches :) Dinners at the hotel were very good. Location was for us perfect: the hotel is in Archangelos which is a small village and it is not crowded by the tourists. You will find supermarkets there and also reastaurants but if you want to go to other places (like Rhodes Town), you get quite easily by bus. If you seek for partying, this is not your place. But if you seek for a peaceful holiday away from the crowded tourist areas, this is The Place! Even though you can use a bus, I recommed to rent a car. It makes travelling in Rhodes very much easier.
Hotels Near Svitaki Taverna In Rhodes Review
This is the 3rd time that I come and the welcome is always perfect, the rooms are clean and the meals by the pool are very pleasant! Thank you very much for your listening and your hospitality. My team and I were delighted.
We visited 14 to 21 October during these very difficult and strange times due to covid. We had 2 family members travelling with us who had been moved to another hotel under a week before travel by Jet2 due to an overbooking on the hotel which luckily they managed to transfer to here after a few days. The transfer was around 1 hour 20 with a few drops. Well once we arrived at the hotel it felt like what we had left in England was a distant dream that you wouldn’t want to repeat. Sanitizer at entrance and dinning areas and toilets etc, face coverings optional. We always carried our own sanitizer too. All staff in suitable PPE and no problem really with social distancing. Our room wasn’t exactly what we had booked as we visited last October and had an upgrade to a pool view room so decided we would upgrade this year to a sunny sea view room which unfortunately looked through trees and was above the delivery area which was quite noisy. We upgraded the following day to a family room with a sea view ( Thankyou for the advice from the concierge). Amazing room with amazing views... will be rebooking this room next year hopefully. Food was lovely my only disappointment is that I never seen more Greek dishes. When you have 3 Italians in your company and they say the meat and food is perfect... then you know your in the right place. Yes breakfast times could be manic with distancing but that is not the fault of the hotel. We just got up earlier especially for the omelettes. Desserts were amazing along with the fruits too. Hard to get a table outside on an evening to watch singers but we always managed to find a seat inside. We are not big drinkers but we enjoyed the wine and love a rum and coke at night so if you don’t mind paying you can always go to the VIP bar at the Moonlight restaurant and have a branded drink which we did after a few days. Service was professional and friendly. Our daughter loved her hot chocolate. Lindos by boat I would highly recommend and they do stop at the hotel beach regardless of what the other boat trip guy says. Lindos beach is beautiful and a fabulous taverna “Kefele “ serves beautiful homemade fresh food with friendly Greek hospitality. Rhodes Town is lovely but a long bus journey. It was our family members first visit to the hotel and they loved it. Thankyou again and we hope to see you again soon. Efcharisto poly
We arrived slightly fraught at 3am after a delayed flight from Manchester and check in was very quick and efficient. After reading other reviews, I knew we had to pay for air conditioning so wanted to arrange that immediately. The lovely gentleman who checked us in told us that he would switch it on for us and just come and arrange payment once we had slept. The hotel as a whole is one of the cleanest that we have stayed in. Towels were changed daily, the bathroom and room cleaned efficiently. WiFi connection was very good. Our beds were firm, but very comfortable, and similar to our own at home. The shower was powerful with plentiful hot water. Like any hotel, there is never quite enough space for your toiletries, but that’s just a niggle. It’s about a 10 minute stroll to the old town and the beach which made this hotel an ideal one for us. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, supermarkets are plentiful if you fancy a bottle of wine on the balcony and despite there being three restaurants within yards of the hotel, it never got really noisy. Our room faced the street and it was nice to watch people coming and going. There was always a good selection for breakfast with hot and cold options, Greek yogurt, fruit, cereals, cakes. I loved what I called the ‘surprise pie’ which was different every day - one day was mushrooms, bits of bacon, eggs and slices of sausage. It was delicious. Special thanks must go to Pedros and the ladies who cooked breakfast. A true gentleman who greeted everyone cheerfully, ran things so efficiently, and treated everyone with the utmost courtesy. Small niggles (and they are very small, hence the four stars in my review): Our key cards would stop working on a regular basis so we would have to go to reception to get them reactivated. As in any other hotel abroad, our passports were taken from us on arrival. What did worry me slightly was that they were put in a drawer which didn’t appear to be locked. How easy is this for someone to gain access to them? We were told that they would be returned to us the next day but I realised three days later that they hadn’t been returned so had to ask for them. You have to make your own bed. The bottom sheet was either straightened or replaced but the top sheet and cover were folded and placed at the foot of the bed each day. The sheets were a bit too short for the size of the bed. Lighting along the corridor to our room was non existent until the last couple of days of our holiday. You have to pay for air conditioning. In a country where temperatures can reach the high 20s or mid 30 degrees, it’s essential to those of us not used to such temperatures. It could easily be added to the cost of the room without a massive rise in price. The hotel website states that there is a roof terrace, tea and coffee making facilities are in every room. None of these were available. Our room didn’t have a fridge and it was 3 days before one appeared and this was only after conta
We spent two weeks here as a couple and really enjoyed our stay. Normally only stay on bed and breakfast basis but hard to achieve in Rhodes in the location we wanted to be in. Having said that the food and indeed drink were plentiful and there was always a choice of cuisine across all the different venues. We didn't make full use of our "all inclusive " as we like to explore a country. So we hired a car for our stay and went out to eat every other day whilst exploring the island. On the evenings we stayed at the hotel the entertainment was great although mostly tribute acts who I must say were really professional and very entertaining. A particularly great trio played at the beach a couple of days a week and they were fabulous. Would we go again, probably not, but would recommend if you want a good value family holiday.
During these difficult covid times, it was with a bit of hesitation that we booked a last minute holiday to Castellum Suites All Inclusive. It was a great price for a newly refurbished hotel within a very short walk of the old town. The lovely, quite spacious room had a balcony (with a small table plus 2 chairs) and a modern bathroom with a good size shower (bring your own toiletries). The smart tv meant that we were able to log into our Amazon Prime account to watch films (there was also a Netflix button). The room, and in fact the whole hotel, was wonderfully clean, even though the hotel said that the room would be cleaned less frequently due to the covid restrictions. As many have mentioned, there was a lack of hangers (only 4) and no drawers, just a large counter over the fridge and another section next to it. There was plenty of room to include a chest of drawers (plus possibly a chair) and would make a great addition. There was also a small safe in the room - no charge. The large bed was actually 2 singles pushed together. For our liking, the bed was rather too firm (as were the pillows) but it was great realising that they were brand new. The food was pretty much as you would expect for All Inclusive and we always found something that we quite liked though unfortunately, it was often warm, rather than hot, as there didn't appear to be any burners/heating below (or above) it . It was buffet style, except that the staff served you, which worked ok. However, at the beginning of our holiday, all the restaurant tables were outside, which is good from a covid point of view, but it caused problems for us as we can't stand the smell of smoke. (Although the inside of the hotel is non-smoking, it is permitted outside in the restaurant area, on balconies and around the pool.) When the weather threatened to deteriorate, a number of the tables were brought inside, which benefitted us. As regards the bar, it's not clear what is actually included free, beyond the choice of 4 cocktails which are advertised on the counter. The drinks did appear to be of quite good quality, although they were local rather than brand names. It should be mentioned that the staff wore masks (for the majority of the time) and did remind customers of the fact that wearing them was compulsory in the hotel. However, there some people around who did not appear to be complying with this - possibly contractors working in the hotel? (A bigger poster reminding people to wear a mask in the very small lifts would be handy. There is one right next to the lift reminding people how to stay covid safe but it's a bit small.) The staff were hard working, friendly and wanted to make sure that everyone had a good holiday.
Before I begin, Alexandra (who is the sommelier, waitress, receptionist, a bit of everything really) delivered service that would not be out of place at some of the best hotels in the world. She was insanely knowledgable of the wine on offer (which was also all Greek and delicious), always had time to help and always had a twinkle in her eye. I'm sure she was smiling as well, but we had to wear facemasks so I couldn't see! If I ever return to Rhodes, I will want to stay here and drink more of the fantastic wine Alexandra recommends. Upon arrival, we had a complimentary bottle of wine in our room and a plate of fresh fruit, perfect after a flight from London. Yes, the rooms are on the smaller side, but they are designed in such a way that makes the most of the space on offer. Half the fun of this room is sleeping in a wine cellar! Our room was spotlessly clean too. The outside terrace is the perfect little sun trap and perfect for an evening drink. Breakfast was delicious, an authentic greek affair with really great coffee. It's served ala carte so you know everything is freshly prepared. The location, perfect for being in the old town. While it's a 15/20 min walk to the main beach, it was perfect for my partner and I who usually pottered around on our way to and from the sea. All in all, a fantastic hotel, run by fantastic people, with a selection of wine that's to be admired.
