Location was good, pretty much in the heart of Izmir. It was easy to find although it was not clear where to park. I went in the car park down the road from the hotel, which turned out to be the hotel parking (you’re given a ticket on check out to exit free). Staff were friendly and helpful and COVID was taken very seriously (with stickers to show sanitised items). The room was very modern, quiet and comfortable, especially the bed. I had breakfast in the hotel which was good quality and very cheap. My only minor criticism was that the shower leaked a little from above the shower head, only a very minor inconvenience. Milk in the room for tea would also be lovely. I’d absolutely stay again if I come back to Izmir, lovely hotel at a great price!

An amazing place. Great, peaceful atmosphere and friendly people, who make you feel at home. The breakfasts really are goooood. Even though I'm a meat lover, the vegetarian kahvaltı was a significant thing to me. We've had very comfortable beds. The hosts are very helpful. The AC in the common room makes the heat easily bearable. I would give 6 stars out of 5.

Just recently visited Ada with my friend, the room was very comfortable and staff were very helpful, we thought we booked a twin room once we discovered wed had not they still upgraded us to a larger room with and extra single bed free of charge. The hotel is spotless, we mainly enjoyed cooking in our room so didn't try their breakfast. Very good location for the cool part of town, very close to Alsancak station and ferry terminal. The house is beautiful and has a great location. Papatia, one of our hostesses was really kind and warm. We had a vegan breakfast. Nice place to meet people from the whole world. It is quite close to the center, just some 15-20 minutes walk to the seaside and market. The surrounding street is full of small shops and bistros, so it is easy to find food. They have equipped kitchen, nice winter garden. The bathroom was clean, yet old school. It was cold when we were here, yet the place remained warm. The staff was very helpful! The place is actually close to the bus station (to go outside Izmir), and metro station. We liked the place and will love to visit it again when we are in izmir.

Pros : the hotel is situated next to Çankaya metro station , very close to Kemeraltı bazaar , within walking distance of the Basmane train station and Pasaport .The hotel has been renovated, its rooms are clean and modern . Τhe breakfast buffet is very rich with many delicious choices . The hotel staff are very kind and room rates are reasonable . Cons : the triple room was a bit narrow and small . Hotel rooms have soundproofing problems so you can hear the slightest noise from the adjacent rooms and the main street . The hotel has only one small elevator . Turkish coffee is not included in the breakfast price . So you have to pay 8 Lira for a coffee . It's not about money because its cost is really inexpensive . I admit this is the hotel policy but it disappointed me a little because in Turkey even small family-run guest houses used to offer to their customers free Turkish coffee .

Great selection of food and beverages available . Warm Bright cheerful area with relaxing music . Staff were attentive to guests needs in ths restaurant /dining area cheerful polite and friendly .. I found the restaurant/ breakfast area very very good regarding the covid 19 . Food was served by staff wearing gloves and masks . Tables chairs etc were constantly cleaned with anti bacterial liquid Hand sanitation was available . No guests were allowed to self service food or drink . The area was spotless well done to the manageress and staff .The cleanliness in the hotel was 100% in all areas . You will feel safe secure and have a very Enjoyable stay at this hotel . I can guarantee this 100%. The hotel is very central to the Metro bus and Tram for easy access to Izmir attractions . The hotel management and staff really do care about the health happiness and well being of there guests who stay here.. This is a family owned and run Hotel. It makes other chain and corporate hotels look very poor in there treatment and care of there guests ..I can recommend this hotel thoroughly to everyone ...5 * treatment for everyone who stays here 👍

I stayed 2 nights here and chose the hotel due to its central location and proximity to Basmane Station for onward travel. The hotel is very modern with good facilities, inset tv, tea and coffee facilities in room as well as complimentary water. Very good bathroom too! Buffet breakfast was generally good and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Like most locations near a railway station, the night scene nearby can be a little vibrant but is generally safe.

The hotel is in a good location, just out of the Aegean Sea. There are also a lot of restaurants and shopping places around the street. Hotel health is actually no problem, but the toilet has a smell, sleep can also smell, the equipment is a bit old, but it is very good, is a star hotel. Right, there is no parking lot. But there are paid parking spaces next to it, 12 hours and 8 liras, very cheap.

My partner and I have just returned from a 4 day stay in this hotel. We chose the hotel based on the reviews , the location and the photos ....we shouldn't have done this. Check in time is 14.00 but we had to wait till 15.00 because the guests hadn't left our room yet and the staff were most laxadasical in their efforts in getting them to leave. We had booked the loft because of the balcony with a city view and the promise of a 45 sq m room. My expectations were dashed when the room was half that size and the view was of a factory 50 m away and was active 24/7. It was disturbingly loud. We confronted the reception about this loud factory and were promised a different room the following day. The next morning we were then told that this free room didn't actually exist as all rooms were full. The bathroom was roomy with a nice shower but seriously , do I want frayed towels with huge holes in them ? No, I certainly do not. Neither do I want a bed quilt with smears of blood and other disgusting liquids in it. The sheets were also frayed and holey in keeping with the towels . The hotel claims to be in the desirable Konak area, it's not ...it's in a scruffy part of Izmir about a 20 minute walk from Konak. The breakfast is simple but totally adequate. The staff were friendly but unprofessional. Would I stay here again? Most certainly not.

The hotel location is 5 minutes walk from the seaside, there are food streets around, all local tastes, no rice noodles, no soup, no drinks, there is a Chinese restaurant; no parking, waiter parking service, lobby service is available Polite, nod and smile at the meeting, breakfast is not suitable for Chinese taste, no rice noodles, bread-based; comfortable bedding in the room, no washing supplies, up to the Chinese 4 star standard; can not communicate in Chinese, go to Izmir There are more and more Chinese people, which is very inconvenient. Maybe the hotel doesn't pay much attention to Chinese guests! Opposite the hotel is the best Swiss ** hotel in the local area. The price is more than 200 yuan more expensive than this one. The conditions are better. You can choose not to be short of money. You can also book Ctrip. It ’s best to bring instant noodles to Turkey, otherwise you have to choke, haha

This KORDON hotel is the most comfortable-for-the-price (4-star) and an environmentally Greenest (as attested internationally from its water purification to others by the definition of the terminology) one could discover as a home-away-from-home situated right on the scenic bay of İZMİR (Smyrna one of the seven biblical church sites) where history was recursively written from the ancient times as early as 5K BC. What struck me at this hotel is the exquisite food served by their prominent landmark restaurant namesake BONJOUR ( known by the local city-dwellers all through the 1960s to the 21st century) which now is owned by the same KORDON Hotel where one need not go to outside eateries for seafood, red meat and specifically Turkish desserts. What stands above all is the spontaneous goodwill courteous and hospitable behavior from the reception clerks to the hotel personnel including the waiters and Ms. K the administrative chief assistant to the CEO-owner, Mr. Timur Gonulsen a proud Dad whose three daughters have all but held Hotel Admin. Degrees from Cornell University. The hotel also owns the two other chain locations. The first at a smaller boutique hotel KORDON ALSANCAK (where this couple spent their honeymoon debut back in 1983) and second at the newly superbly renovated-with-panache KORDON CANKAYA with its pristine roof-pool. KORDON CANKAYA serves besides its roomy and spacious facilities and BONJOUR-centric restaurant facility, a first-quality world-standard SPA expert massage-therapy at a highest health-standard with a very convenient pricing less than 50% of what it would normally cost in USA or Europe. The KORDON landmark hotel is an optimal choice for comfort and magnificent bay-view with unforgettable sunset in addition to its walking distance to major restaurants, shopping malls and traditional bazaars( marketplaces). Izmir’s unbelievably rich hinterland can be travelled by taking tours advised by the KORDON hotel administration’s knowledgeable tourism associates. In brief, if we had the chance to travel back to İZMİR from USA, we could not miss the chance of staying at KORDON HOTEL which possesses qualities as exceptionally scenic, optimal-for-the-price and delicious traditional Turkish food with spontaneous-and-goodwill hospitality for all. What else can you expect if you wish to enjoy the greatest time of your life at a piece of paradise, folks!

The hotel breakfast is actually quite rich, but the breakfast in the country is really not easy to understand, mainly all kinds of cheese.

We stayed 2 nights on a visit to Izmir and ancient sites around Izmir. The reception staff were friendly and were helpful to assist us with information. The hotel have rooms for smoking and non-smoking. We were not asked in which room we want to stay and got a smoking room to stay in. The smell was bad in the room. The hotel is close to the railroad and the train runs through the night not far from the hotel. The noise is very disturbing. We had dinner at the hotel and the food was average in quality. The waiter in the dinning room was extremely rude and kept telling us that he does not speak English and could not understand us. He had no serving skills and more than once reached for my plate of food while I was still having my dinner. He just wanted us to finish and get us out of the room. He did not asked us for any drinks or coffee and it felt that he wanted to rush us out of the dinning room. We had to call the person at the reception to come and explain to him what we wanted. Both breakfast and dinner staff was not friendly at all. An average stay.

The most satisfactory hotel in the whole journey, the only thing to pay attention to is to follow the Google navigation. The entrance of the hotel is not on the main road. It is on a coastal pedestrian street. If you want to drive into the stone road, a lobby will come out and ask if you are staying in the hotel. He will help you park it. If you park yourself, it is difficult to have a parking space at this location. The room type is bigger than expected. The curtains are remote-controlled, and all the room lights are turned on and off with one button. There is also a mirror on the ceiling...enmmmm. The drinks in the minibar seem to be free (I'm not sure about the two bottles), and welcome cards and small chocolates are also prepared, which are more intimate. The distance from the ancient bazaar, the two squares and several surrounding scenic spots is relatively moderate. If you walk, you can finish the transfer before the checkout after lunch in the morning. There is a KFC Burger King and a cinema next to the hotel, which is more convenient for kebap friends.
