I just finished a five night stay at the W on Stuart in the Back Bay of Boston. The location was great. You can walk to pretty much everything and I did. Since we are still in covid I was looking for a place to go and explore and feel safe. I had a spacious room on the 14th floor and felt really comfortable at my home away from home. Boston is a great town. Very walkable and the people are very nice. There are great restaurants to try with lots of different types of food. Great Italian in little Italy, tons of Asian cuisine down the road from the hotel and of course plenty of places to get clam chowder and lobster roles. Since I tried a lot of places throughout the city I can say that Boston has a lot of great food options. A few being Abe and Louis for New England clam chowder and steaks in the Back Bay, Stephanie’s on Newbury for brunch, Reginas for good Italian style pizza, Mike’s pastries for cannolis, Buttermilk and Bourbon for dinner in the Back Bay and amazing tapas in the Back Bay at Lolitas. The hotel is so close to the parks, great shopping and the theatres. Not that I got to participate in live concerts or shows since we are still in covid. The staff at the hotel was fantastic. Extremely helpful and specifically I want to call out the attention I got from the front desk and concierge team. They made the trip better than expected with their suggestions and helpful in site. Thank you very much. See you again on another trip to Boston. And thanks again for a great stay.

One of the cheapest, if not the cheapest centrally located Marriott, it’s good if you’re budget conscious but certainly a get what you pay for situation. Water in the room is $5 a carton and not an ideal set up if you plan on doing work. In house food options are limited but at least they’re serving right now. Location was great for my personal needs in the theatre district type area. The room was also quiet as I had requested so I was very pleased about this. It’s fine in a pinch but there are much better options in Boston and given they’re only slightly more expensive right now, I’d select another option. Not as good as my experience at the DC property which I thought was overall excellent.

First of all, in the middle of this pandemic, I have to say, the hotel was very clean. They practiced social distancing and were great about their cleaning policies, i.e. no staff will enter the room during your stay unless you request it. Rooms are sealed off until you arrive and I saw staff cleaning surfaces quite a bit. Obviously, many of the amenities have been suspended due to Covid-19 (like room service, the pool, etc.). If you need certain amenities, I'd definitely call first. You can't beat the location. There are restaurants all around you and it's only a brief walk from Boston Common. We parked our car in the garage ($42/day) and left it there. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. The room itself was a standard hotel room with some fun art work making you remember you were in the "Revere" Hotel (see my photo). However, the building could use some updates and repair. Peeling floors, damaged elevators (graffiti in the garage elevator), chipped furniture, etc. Nothing terrible, but it's those little things that can make the difference between a good hotel and great one. All in all, I'd stay there again.

I would like to thank the very friendly, helpful and on-point staff of this branch of Marriott. From the moment I arrived I received excellent customer service. Molly at the front desk was funny, helpful and went out of her way to secure me a lovely room, and I did not even ask for it! We are Marriott Bonvoy members as well, so we frequently visit Marriotts across the country. And I must say, I am so happy to walk through the door after long days travelling and to be greeted by very helpful efficient and cheerful staff. From the doorman to the management, I was treated like I was a VIP. I was there for a conference and I was not feeling well to boot. As a business traveller, I am very grateful for the business centre and use of the printer. I forgot print some important documents and it was very late, the business centre was on my floor and it was no problem to print my stuff and sort my self out. I was worried that I would encounter problems, as I have in the past. But it could not have been easier. They are on top of these details which mean the world to someone working away from home. Reliable, efficient service, small details like keeping the paper tray loaded, ink/toner checked, and a tidy, uncluttered work space, are such relief to business travellers like myself. Like I said, on-pointe service. Marriott customer service is the Delta Airlines of chain hotels. Thank you to the staff of Courtyard Marriott Downtown, you guys exemplify what customer service is about.

Loved the stay here for the price. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The price was great for a weekend stay centrally located. The set up is similar to a hostel. Make sure you see the accommodations and dont book a shared room if you dont want one. Stayed in the queen wlbed with private bath. Very happy with what we got for the price. Would stay again

Arguably one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. Super clean and spacious! The breakfast selection is amazing! The staff are super helpful and friendly. Great location to everything. 5-10 min walk from Boston common! The place was a little pricey however really worth it in comparison to hotels in the local area!

Last minute stay in Boston. Was looking for a place to get out of the cold while visiting Emerson during COVID restrictions. Booked the Doubletree because it was very close to campus and the Common. Check in was easy. Very friendly front desk. Touriya was very helpful and made us feel welcome. (Warm cookies are always appreciated at check in). Parked for $25/night at the Tufts parking garage next-door which was arranged by the hotel. Small onsite parking is $45 /night if you prefer. Room was clean. Bed was comfy. Coffee maker in the room but there is a Starbucks downstairs as well. COVID sanitized stickers on the door and remote in the room. Masks required in all areas of the hotel. Seem to be taking COVID precautions seriously which was welcome. Hotel is located in Chinatown which made finding meals very easy. Hotel is located directed across from Tufts and although helicopters landed at the hospital 2x during our stay, street noise was less than I would have expected. Would loved to have been able to see at show at one of the theater district venues but nothing is open just yet. Was able to check out of hotel using Hilton app, so no issues there. Will definitely stay again when visiting Emerson.

This was my second stay at this hotel. It always amazes me how magnificent (large) it is. It is really conveniently located. Very centrally located in between very touristy streets of Boylston and Park Plaza and walking distance to CBD area, while tucked away in a relatively quiet street one block away. I did not use the facilities other than the bar and coffee shop, which were great. The room I stayed in this time, a king size bed, was a bit small; the bottom of the bed was too squished close to the TV and wall. It should be okay for one person, but it would have been a bit difficult for two people. The air con was cranked to high and I couldn't find room temp controller. It was a hot summer stay and I did not mind it too much, except for one day when I stayed in my room to do a bit of work.

When I checked in at the hotel, she told the front desk that she wanted a quiet room. She saw that I liked the upper floors and arranged for me to the 17th floor. After entering the room, it was okay overall, but when I saw the sand-like marks in the sink and the sink when I went to the bathroom, it looked a bit uncomfortable. After returning the next day, the room was cleaned. Although the sink and the pond were not completely cleaned, the traces were almost gone. After staying there are many privileges, free soup or something. But daily fruits are not seen at the front desk every day. I have been to the gym but one of the bicycles failed to start. But the rest of the equipment is good, although the personal yoga space is a bit small outside. Overall, nearby activities are very convenient. Service attitude is also very correct.

Would I stay here again? Absolutely! This is the friendliest hotel I've stayed at in the USA. From check in, bar staff, housekeeping everyone was lovely. Nothing was a problem, I had to borrow a power adapter from reception and when I mentioned there was no fridge in my room to keep some wine cold, 5 mins later one was put in my room! Great location, I could walk everywhere, good coffee in the cafe downstairs and an amazing cafe 'Bonjour" around the corner with great breakfast. There was a little bit of street noise but nothing too bad, I was on L6 with a nice view across the rooftops of Boston.

Stayed at Loews Boston for four nights as part of a business trip - driving 30 minutes north to Beverly every day. Great location with 10 minute walk to the main park (from where the Freedom trail start). Good rooms - obviously without the avoidance of traffoc noise - but ok and expected for a central location. No breakfast buffet - but a la carte - with good choices (even for my travel companions - one vegetarian and one lactose/gluten intolerate). All in all a recommendable stay.

Hotel facilities are very good, the surrounding shopping malls and supermarkets are very convenient. When I was very close, I walked to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with my husband, walked through the Harvard Bridge, and saw a lot of running. I really love sports. The supermarket solved the breakfast, and the checkout at the checkout counter after breakfast was very delicious. There are major brands in the surrounding shopping malls, you can stroll around, less than 300 meters after the lobster burger shop, you must taste delicious. At the entrance of the hotel, the taxi to the airport price list of 38.5 US dollars a baggage total gave 40, before not to say more than 20, I doubled, and it is not clear why.

We just wanted to thank you for a wonderful weekend at your hotel. I realize we're in a pandemic but your hotel (which was sadly very empty) went above and beyond to help us in any way. We had a great view from the 24th floor and the hotel is just steps away from the back bay, wonderful restaurants and lots of shopping. Our daughter is a student at northeastern and she was a 15 min walk from her campus. We will never stay anywhere else when we are visiting boston. Thank you to all the pleasant staff as they did the best they could to make us feel as comfortable as possible! Keep up the good work and we'll see you in the spring! We even enjoyed the snow and the cold weather since we're from Florida!

I had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. The rooms are medium sized but I was upgraded due to Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite status. The in-room amenities were excellent and included bathtub, work desk and a flat screen TV. Beds were large and comfortable and blankets were really good. My main complaint is with the air-conditioning unit. It was noisy and placed on the ground, thereby leading to inconvenience and vibrations. Not to mention that the angle of the vent was also odd. There is a nice restaurant on site which is open till late night. Food is good and value for money. The hotel has a pool table, outdoor game area and many conference rooms. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider going there again especially for the views of the Boston Seaport and reasonably priced rooms.

The male staff in the evening shift is very friendly, very patient, always smiling, and the service is very good! It rained outside and I also borrowed an umbrella for me. The room was great, my room was on the top floor, there was a balcony in the room and the bed was very comfortable! The location is very good, just in the city center, to various attractions, shopping and shopping, the surrounding restaurants are very convenient, it should be the best hotel I have ever stayed on this trip! If you have the chance to go to Berlin again, you have to choose this hotel!
