Staffs at the front desk (both young and mature staff), maintainence and housekeeping are really patient and friendly. Checked in over the weekend and got a corner room at a higher floor as I have requested for it. But had to ask for a change as the aircon wasn’t working well and was suffocating from the heat in the room. The room was tiny and was given 2 single beds combined into one. Wasn’t a big fan of sleeping in between 2 single beds. But the front desk staff helped me change my room to a lower floor in the middle location after 2 staff came to check. One suggested I close the curtain to let the room cool down while another was better and came inside the room to check if it was because he came in from outside so it felt hot. Still it didn’t help that I was still feeling hot. But it could just be me who can’t stand heat. I was skeptical if the room on the lower floor will be quiet but had no choice as they only had that room available over the weekend. Once inside the aircon worked wonders within 5 minutes. As it faces the back alley where I’m situated in between the alley pathway, people tend to go there for a smoke and start chatting. Normally it is alright as it last only for a while but was pretty unlucky as the first night a group of four people purchased beer and chatted at the back alley while smoking all night from 6pm till after midnight. It was a pain as you can hear them chatting away nonstop. But thank goodness after the first night, the group of four didn’t appear. Had a good stay there as the room I was at had bushes from the lower level which was overgrown and birds love to visit to feast on the nectar from the flowers so I kind of had real life National Geographic channel broadcasting just outside the window. It was a sight to chill and enjoy watching the birds. The windows were wide from ceiling to floor so you can still watch the sunset daily even if it’s been blocked somewhat by the shophouses. Would have preferred a unblocked view from the window to watch sunset but just didn’t work out. Overall it was a nice experience with the chirping birds and still manage to do a self retreat. Some noises here and there but it’s not persistent so was lucky. Have to add that I extended my stay and highlighted to the staff it will be good if they can place me at a higher floor as I like their view to watch the sunset. They accommodated and place me on the highest level corner room which was the same room I was given the first time round but one level higher. Same issue happened and the aircon seems to be working but it doesn’t seem to cool down the room and I felt suffocated plus the room had a smell which later I realized it came from the toilet. But they were very nice and let me opened up the window for an hour to air the room. In the end I asked to change the room as I was not able to get used to the heat and the staff was really nice and let me have the previous room which I have been staying throughout. Am grateful to the staff for their patience and accommodating to my room change twice! Thank you for making my stay a good one.

Service was awesome. We made several requests to the hotel as I was heavily pregnant - hard mattress & room without bathtub. Received a complimentary upgrade to a room with both bathtub and shower area, firm mattress and great sea view! Room was clean and spacious. For $120 per night, it was very worth it! Near to ECP and food centre too. Will definitely come back again!

Located along a vibrant part of Joo Chiat. No hotel parking. Street parking is limited. Lots of food along the street. Took a package with dinner. Dinner at Nee Restaurant is good. Room’s aircon is centralized. Will need to tell the receptionist to turn it up. Too cold in the room.

The location is a bit off. I got a hack from the airport and asked me for a new 25. After getting off the bus, I saw a very small hotel door and two stairs. There is no elevator. I was dragging my suitcase. I really wanted to cry. Take a look at the price on the counter... Hot water is supplied, but there is no hair dryer in the room (I didn't ask at the front desk because I brought a hair dryer). Sleeping at night is quite quiet and not noisy Check out at eleven in the morning The key to open the door is not a combination lock or a room card

Clean basic hotel, be prepared for noise from corridors and noisy neighbours. The bathroom is small so one has to shower next to the toilet bowl and the entire space will be drenched. All basic amenities are provided. Stayed for the location and to explore this lovely neighbourhood with plenty of good food, architecture and coffee around and you can feel like a tourist. If only this area had more 4 star hotels. Bearable for at most 2 nights.

SGD$59 saturday in sunday out. has bath tub, fridge, slippers, free flow of towels and water bottles but TV only has local analogue programmes (channel 5,8,news asia), downgraded from 2 months agao which still have cable channels (movie, sports, finance, news, documentary). Wifi difficult to connect due to phone display to scan QR code appear on my screen, quite impossible, so queried at counter. Day male chinese young manager not so patient and not good attitude in solving the issue and communicating . Night female non-chinese manager (sound like Thai) was considerate and support and solved the issue patiently and wholeheartedly, even helped source a phone charger for me as i only have cable.

Stay was alright. Room was quite small and clean but sufficient for 1 night stay. Do note that upgrade and early/late check out are subjected to availability which isn't clearly stated, but I understand. I got a room on the first floor and you can clearly hear the staff at the reception laughing and talking quite loudly, even though my room was at the end of the corridor.

A very well spent weekend at Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore for my birthday this year... Environment: 5/5 stars After not being use my passport for the past 1year, it has also been one year from my previous staycation... This 2D1N at Dusit really brings us the “overseas” feel.. No tall buildings nor the familiar HDB in sight... overlooking is the golf course and the pool with some pavilions... Room: 4.5 / 5stars We got a Laguna Pool View King Room... room size was definitely shiok! Separate toilet and bath which comes with shower head and rain shower- 5 stars hotel indeed!! Only thing I felt can be improved is probably the trees at the window that needs trimming... cos the trees kinda affected the “pool view”... but the view of the gold course is good also... Amenities: 5/ 5stars Highly recommended to book the cabana if u are visiting the pool... we had our dinner at the cabana by the pool... the feeling is indescribably SHIOK! Haha... watch planes fly over your head often when you are in the pool too... They also have a well equipped Gym... perfect for our training due to sinful indulgence during meal time Service: Unbelievable!! 👍🏾 Special Thanks to Mr Muzaffar who has been helping us to arrange the memorable experience.. We definitely had a great 2D1N at the resort... also take the opportunity to thank every one in the hotel industry during this period as I understand that it’s really not easy... Mr Muzaffar has been helping us to arrange the time slots for the pool, gym and all the deliveries that were sent to the concierge.. The celebration wouldn’t be a success without him... and when we get to meet him in person, you would know that it’s all because of the passion in him.. Always a big smile and patiently answers all the guests queries... This Mr Sunshine definitely adds on to the overall resort experience... He even volunteered to help us book a taxi using his own app after we checked out!!! 10 stars to his spirit of service! We will definitely be back... and very soon!!!

Prior to check-in date, the hotel had contacted via phone and email for pre-arrival check. It’s great that manager Jason was able to confirm the baby cot that I had requested when making the reservation. On arrival, the bell had promptly came over to help with our luggage. This is helpful as there seems to be only stairs at the driveway as I can’t find another alternative. Once I stepped into the lobby, I noticed a refreshing scent that lifted my mood. While waiting for my room key, I was presented with welcome drinks. They had assisted to show the way to the room, along they way we were brought to the spa area and the guest service also shared that there is a aeroponics farming area next to the spa reception. Even though it’s only 2nd floor but we were amazed with room’s high ceiling, something that most of us don’t have it at home. Their floor to ceiling window let in good amount of natural lighting into the room. I lived the complimentary healthy snacks that’s placed in the room together with the complimentary still and sparking water. The spacious room once again hit the right spot to make your feel relaxed and calm. During the stay, we visited that aeroponics area again as we were mesmerized by how easy plants could be grown indoor. I remembered there is a plant called lemon balm, Liza was very kind to share with us how this aeroponics farming works and gave us some of the lemon balm leaves. I added the lemon balm leaves into the sparking water that was available in the room for a refreshing drink to end of the night. Breakfast was great with the usual western and continental selection, what’s more interesting is their five dim sum warrior breakfast set and also their barramundi mixed oat congee. You must try these when you are there. I will like to thank a couple of people who we had interacted with and had made our stay pleasant: Jason for the wonderful connecting room arrangement, Liza who was at the wellness lounge area at around 9pm and she took the effort to share with us their interesting Grobrix aeroponic system and the plants growing there, Xiao Yun, Joey and Hanish who cleaned and sanitised the room. There are many more of them, I wished I could remember all their names. There is so much more to write and share, but one thing that I should not missed is that you have to stay two nights to truly experience a good retreat from the usual hassle and bustle. It’s definitely different from staying at the city hotel. If you want a good rejuvenating experience, please check out this hotel.

Stayed at the 2 bedroom deluxe room for my family of 4, which is a rare find for us. Typically we will get 2 interconnecting rooms. But this 2 bedroom arrangement comes with a living hall which is good for family bonding. The only downside is that there is only 1 bathroom, and 1 powder room (we took it quite well ... treat it as if we ate staying at a Japanese ryokan which only has 1 bathroom) ... 😄

I first stayed at the SEA Hotel back in 2014 as it was recommended by my aunt and uncle who always stay here when in Singapore. I love the place. It’s old and rustic (a throwback to another time) but for $100 SGD a night with a fabulous vegetarian buffet breakfast included (Kwan Im restaurant) and prime location in Bugis you couldn’t ask for anything more. Also when booking the staff are excellent in replying to queries and give very detailed information about getting to the hotel and airport transport options and nearby attractions. Free wifi was included and it was fast and reliable. The staff on the front desk were friendly especially the girl who checked me in. Bugis+ shopping mall (10 levels with cinemas, food/retail options galore and taxi rank) is less than 5 mins walk. I use this as a taxi pick up/drop off point to various attractions from the hotel. Bugis MRT Station is 5-10 mins walk and is on the airport line (10th station from the airport, with 1 change at Tanah Merah, cost only SGD 2.50) The Kwan Im Temple is right next door and worth checking out (it gets very busy with local worshippers). Directly outside is a pedestrian mall with a flurry of activity with market stalls and street vendors. The hotel is simple and rooms unadorned with only the basics but it’s all there and excellent value for money. They do request you leave your key if you go out and recollect (24 hour reception) but I conveniently forgot to do this most of the time and it was never a problem. Oh and don’t even think about bringing durians to the hotel!

The hotel is very close to Wenqing subway station, walk 5.6 minutes. The youth hostel is very small. It has a lot of capsule beds in one room, but the capsule room is well designed. It is very spacious to sleep alone. The closed door is your own private space. Bedding, lighting, safe, charging plug, usb, and mirror are all available in the capsule. The access to the card is safe, and the bathroom is clean. Although there are many people, this is still in place. With breakfast, it is simple cereal. And toast bread, coffee milk variety. The front desk attitude is very good, that is, one of the lights in my room is broken and cannot be turned off. The Indian brother first said that the light in each room could not be turned off. He lied. Actually, it was not. Later, he let him think of a solution. In short, the overall is a good hostel, you can choose this next time you go to Singapore, it is recommended ~~~~~~

Really pretty and cosy boutique hotel. Reception and staff were all very friendly and always available at your service. The room was really nice and better than what I was expecting at this price point. Walkable distance to mrt station as well and there is also a 7/11 just a few mins walk away. Would highly recommend the studio premier room which comes with the kitchenette. The only slight problem was that the samsung smart tv couldn’t be connected to our phones so there was only a few limited channels to select from.

A little disappointed that when we asked to have King room, the customer service rep said she will input in the system. We have 2 young kids and my husband is tall. However when we arrived, we were given a dbl dbl room, consisting of 2 double beds and that our request wasnt in the system. Ended up paying $60++ per night for an "upgrade" on the 7th floor, with traffic noise and no view. When other rooms are using the taps in their toilet, we could hear the pressure and woke up our baby girl a few times. This is my 2nd time staying at the hotel but 1st time was a much better experience.

The hotel location is particularly good, just outside the subway station. There is a free breakfast, 7-11 downstairs, and eating is very convenient. The outdoor swimming pool and terrace on the top floor of the hotel are not too comfortable, the night view is superb. You can walk directly to Chinatown and Clarke Quay, next to Songfa Bak Kut Teh and Ya Kun, Hainan Chicken Rice, and everything is very convenient. The only thing is that the room is really small and the boxes cannot be tiled on the floor. The bathroom is also small. The lobby of the hotel lobby is super soft and comfortable! !! !! The day before I left, because I was still early for the departure time, I rested on the sofa for nearly 2 hours and fell asleep, but the sister at the front desk was not stunned. After I woke up, the sister asked me that I was too tired to play yesterday. There are so many foreigners in the hotel and almost no Chinese are seen. The hotel staff is Malay, with an accent in English and no Chinese.

This place has very, very good customer service which i must first commend in the first sentence of this review. I was there for 3 days and two nights and there was the same staff throughout my stay, day and night. But he was friendly, helpful and jovian. It actually seemed like he was the one who did absolutely everything in the hotel. Be aware that this hotel IS in the red light district of Singapore. My room was a single bed room, and the only single bed room in the already small hotel. It was unfortunately crawling with ants along the wall, a tile or two had chipped or fell off. The wall hiding behind the toilet door wasn't to die for either, the room didn't feel complete, but it was livable. I did get the opportunity to go into the other rooms, the double bed room and family room. Those were definitely more decent, they felt cleaner and were better maintained. They even had a cosy feel to them. It comes with breakfast in the vicinity's small kitchen. Don't expect a wide spread or a 4 star hotel breakfast, but it was pretty decent for it's standard. Bread, a fruit, protein (eggs, tuna or others), rice or porridge. There are plenty of food around the area, hawkers mostly. But there are three mrt stations within walking distance, and Paya Lebar Square is about 900m (12 - 18min walk) from the hotel. In all, it isn't a place for fussy stayers. But if you're pretty easy going, don't want to pay premium prices for an accommodation and get your own room and toilet, then one can definitely consider this place.

I think I am the most objective evaluation: 1. Hotel location: too golden! You can walk to Outram Park subway station when you go out, wherever you go! The last train of the subway is around 11:30, and you can play until late (because the gate is the one-day bar street, the lights are bright, and it is safe) 2, the service is good, too late in the morning and check-in time, can also store luggage 3. Okay to say the disadvantages: The room is very small, the same size as Hong Kong, and the single room I booked can only sleep and bath, and it has a slight odor (I feel it is harmless, because I am Come alone to play, come out early and return late, just go back to sleep, and the price is more than 350, there is no need for it, the youth hostel has 150 beds, this is a good single room! 4. Suggestion: Only suitable for one person or same-sex friends to play and live! If you are a couple, it's better to live! Come out alone and really recommend five stars! There is everything nearby, the traffic is too convenient, and it is quick to go to Sentosa. I walk around and feel that the surrounding Bugis MRT station is particularly lively. I eat a lot and recommend it!

Staff at front desk and cleaning were generally friendly and helpful during check in and out. Meals are provided for by kith at ground level. Layout of hotel takes getting used to due to the “flooring”. Check in is on level 2, strangely level 1 brings you nowhere near Taka SC or paragon malls and the connected car park to the lobby is level 4 with a very non-descript and old metal door for access. Somehow car park level P4 connects to hotel level 2. There is no complimentary parking or hotel parking either except with a fixed amount voucher that will provide exit but you need to estimate the cost compared to the current parking rate and purchase separately at front desk (22 Bideford Rd). Room itself is big enough for a deluxe (2+1 9yo child) with the living area and kitchenette. Shower drainage was clogged on the first night leading to ponding of 3 inches of water while showering. However this was rectified within the day of giving feedback to front desk. Some areas like carpet had unidentifiable dried orange stains from previous and the blinds in the toilet had mould stains on them. The toilet bin was horrible really small and hard to press down to use. The bathrobe was quite worn and had a partially torn left pocket. May I recommend that these be looked into by housekeeping and facilities departments considering this is a five and not four star residence. Floor was also slightly dusty and there was some hair on the floor as well after cleaning. Beds and sofa and chairs appeared clean enough at first sight and use but was expecting much higher degree of cleanliness for this room and the price I paid. Believe me it wasn’t half bad definitely it’s still higher end and definitely liveable over the 3D2N but cleanliness standard was somewhat lower than what I’d expect from an Ascott. Food is readily available at the malls nearby however last order for rm dining service at kith is currently 930pm. Extra service charge is charged for delivery inside the unit compared to call and self collected method which is unusual but I guess it’s to prevent overloading the two front staff manned kith.

Location wise is very convenient. Bus stops everywhere, clarke quay and funan mall nearby and most importantly, for all the supper freaks, there are 7-11 nearby and also restaurants. Cleanliness was super bad. The remote controls, table, counter, sink, cups and spoons were so dusty. I can swipe in one finger and accumulate all the dust. The carpet had a huge stain near the fridge and a funky smell. The fridge was musty and dirty but bed is super clean. I guess it has been long since someone used that room but I expected it to be clean as it is a standard procedure for Housekeepers to clean up the rook before guests checks in. For service, it was neutral. Did what I requested and gave me an expected service but did not exceed my expectations. I requested to check out 2 hours later and they did manage to extend the check out. However, on the last day of our stay, we got locked out of the door because the staff forgot to change the system on the door. So our time was delayed. Lastly, after checking out, there was no closure of service from any of the staff so we just left. For amenities, there were no towels in the toilet and the TV couldn’t airplay/ mirror screen to my phone even though the feature was available on the TV. TV channels was super slow.
