I chose Berlin Westin to read the previous comments. The location is good, the hotel is clean, the service attitude is good, especially for the children, this trip to Berlin for four nights, the location is really good, under the window is the bodhi tree down the street, go to the city The main attractions of the center are very close, the room is very clean, the service attitude feels really average, the children are basically neglected, the handsome guy who checked in the smile is sincere and feels good, but checkinlady gives people a feeling of indifference, see your Eyes weird, and very hard to laugh, there was an episode, a thief near the hotel, lost cash, I don’t know if the hotel is safe, after returning to the hotel, I communicated with a chechinlady, I thought she would I asked if I needed the hotel to help the police. I didn't expect her to look at me and say "Of course". Then I looked at me with a surprised expression. Without the following, I was very interesting and walked away. "You are at the hotel." Hotel location is very good. The station is very close and it is close to the Prime Minister's Office and the Congress. No breakfast ordered, no evaluation. Living with a 10-year-old child, Ctrip recommended a big bed, and the front desk changed to 2 single beds.

The location is good, it is very convenient to go to various attractions, and you can walk or take public transportation. Shopping around is very convenient. Reception front desk and doorman service are very good and very polite. The hotel's decoration style is more ancient, and it doesn't matter if it is different from person to person. It is difficult to comment. What the individual doesn't like is the breakfast mode provided by the hotel. The buffet style on the table is only a small variety of bread, butter, cheese, sliced meat, a little fruit, a little juice and so on. Any omelet or egg, or sausage, or hot vegetables, must be ordered in a variety of language menus provided by a single door. Although the speed of serving after ordering is OK, the taste is average and even disappointing. The taste of the drink is average. The overall feeling of the hotel's breakfast quality is not worth the price it sells. In particular, if you are accustomed to eating a self-service rich breakfast, you may not be able to adapt to this breakfast mode.

Beautiful 5-star hotel located in the heart of Berlin, from which you can go everywhere on foot (Brandenburg Gate at 900 meters, for example). Very complete breakfast, which does not lack a single detail. Maria deserves a special mention, a very kind person who made our stay infinitely more pleasant. Because of its location, services and staff like María, a clear candidate to repeat😊😊😊👏👏👏👏

The room facilities are very good, the bathroom floor is heated, the wet clothes can be dried quickly in the bathroom, the hotel room window sill is soundproof, although on the side of the road, but there is no sound after closing the window, there is a cruise ship on the riverside of the hotel. Divided into 3 hours and 1 hour, half an hour, you can take a boat to look around the attractions, save the feet, with a Chinese broadcaster to explain all the information, that is, the kettle needs 5 euro service fee, but Europe travels Water is not cheap, with a water glass, you can save a lot of money. Hotel breakfast costs 25 euros, go left and go 100 meters to have a subway station, breakfast can be where to solve, eat everything, not worse than the hotel. The hotel has a restaurant that is 5 meters left and has a restaurant. The steak is very difficult to eat. If you want to eat, don't order 250 grams. It's too thick. It's 180 grams. It's a little thin. There is a salad buffet. You can also go right and cross the bridge. The first restaurant is an Italian pizza, which is very difficult to eat. It is ok to cross the bridge and turn left to several restaurants by the river. The Berlin subway is hard to understand. Unlike China, there are often several lines in the station that stop, so be sure to see the vehicle information.

I don't recommend to deal with this hostel. This place has a rule: free cancellation not later than 2 weeks before the booked day. It was my mistake to book this hostel because 6 days before the trip my situation was absolutely changed: both of my children had got a viruses and my work wasn't payed in time. So I wrote about 15 letters to the administration of this place with the requests and asks not to take a cancellation fee or to take some part of it. Answer for every my letter was: "NO". Finally I payed full сost without visiting them and.... they tried to take 505 euro instead of 495 euro :))) Also when I asked them a question about table and chair in the room, their only answer was: "you can familiarize yourself on the site". Spoiler: no any table, no any chair in the room for 4 persons.

Advantages: 1. Excellent location, the main attractions can be reached on foot, there are many good German restaurants around. 2. The breakfast was unexpectedly delicious. Although there is only one restaurant (Italian cuisine), the hotel tastes good. There are different Rieslings in the wine list. 3. The high-rise room can see the scenery, it is beautiful. Disadvantages: 1. The room has no master control and needs to turn off the lights. 2. There are too few plugs in the room, which is inconvenient.

I stayed there during my solo trip to Berlin (7th August 2020- 10th August 2020) and I must say the location of this Hotel is excellent. I had a comfortable room (124) even though the view was nothing. However, I wasn’t going to spend a lot of time in the Hotel, hence I did not ask for a higher floor room. The rooms had AC, which is much needed in the heatwave. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants around and a lot of places are just walking distance from the hotel. Friedrichstraße Bahnhof is also extremely nearby. On the downside, I feel some of the staff could have been a bit more warm and I would have loved a bit more options in the breakfast section. No big complains, my stay there was really comfortable and nice. If I visit again, I might stay there again.

The hotel is right at the entrance to the U7 underground station, which is good. However, I find the policy of extra fees appaling. The room was fully booked upfront online and when checking out I was asked a weird question what the nature of my visit to Berlin was (!). Does anyone has the right to ask me about it? What if I do not answer this question? And as it turned out, "Holiday/private/leisure/visiting friends/sightseeing" are the answers which mean you will have to pay extra EUR 3,18 for nothing. Does a private trip mean that I use the room EUR 3,18 "more" than on a business trip? Does the hotel want to punish those on "private" trips and tell them "Do not come to visit Berlin or you must pay extra"??? Ridiculous policy. Not coming to Berlin, next time I will choose places where I am not punished because I am not on a business trip.

Beautiful hotel in idyllic residential area. At least a 1 hour walk to centre, close to public transport, even closer to lake and park. Room was clean with small balcony. Quite a few things did spoil the stay for me though. I arrived at 12pm and although I knew at booking that I couldn't check in until 3pm I found it strange that there was nowhere to sit and wait with a drink or some food. I wasn't offered a drink while I waited. There was only one restaurant that was not open, small lobby bar that was not open and the beer garden cafe/bar that was not open. I had come off a long flight, in 30+ degrees and couldn't even get a glass of water at my soon-to-be hotel for the week. When I asked if there was somewhere I could get one from I was told I had to go to a nearby cafe. I came back at 2:30 and asked again if there was really nowhere to get any drink from and the lady finally agreed to get me a drink herself from the lobby bar - a concentrated orange juice and machine cappuccino cost me 9 euro's. I wouldn't recommend buying the breakfast package, I did and missed the first morning as it closed at 10am and I couldn't get a refund, the second morning I made it at 9:45 and was followed round the buffet by a member of the kitchen staff who literally asked me "what are you looking for?" clearly impatient that I hadn't arrived early, at exactly 10am 2 members were next to my table pointing at their watches and telling me my time was up with my bowl of fruit. On the last day I had to leave before breakfast and asked again about a refund for that day, I was told I couldn't but could take something with me from the breakfast bar, however when I went to the breakfast bar the waitress told me I couldn't and had to wait until 6am. One of the bar staff members kept charging me 4 euros for beers that were clearly priced at 3.90 and frustratingly you are not allowed to sit in the beer garden after 9 pm as they chain the chairs to the tables, this was annoying as for me it was the most idyllic part and biggest selling point of the hotel, so there is literally nowhere to go apart from the small uncomfortable lobby bar. Finally, I was also looking forward to using the sauna in the mornings but it doesn't open until 4pm and I didn't see this pointed out when booking. These are many small frustrations that took the shine off a hotel that should easily get 5 stars.

For the Berlin Marathon, we chose the hotel within walking distance of the Brandenburg Gate. Old German hotels, the room facilities, area, and layout are very classic, compared to many typical German-style hotels with small beds and cabins closer to the early domestic four-star hotels. Pros: Quiet, close to the park, rich breakfast, the hotel's only restaurant tastes good, the service is good, and the price is fair. Cons: No1. Not soundproof! On the first night of the marathon, there was an Arab or some banquet in the ballroom. The room on the second floor was always noisy with ding-dong music until 23:00! No2 The exhaust system is not good, the room always asks for the fume smell before and after meals. No3 As a four-star hotel, it is hard to imagine that the concierge was never seen at the door, and there was no room service or any on-site service. When I returned to the hotel after the game, I wanted to have some ice cubes and was told by the front desk that I could go to the bar on the first floor. The bar on the first floor may be understaffed and no one greet for a long time. No 4 is not close to the subway. In the end, I probably understand why there are still a lot of vacancies on the eve of the marathon, and the next marathon should be avoided.

It is a small modern hostel with four rooms. We stayed (family with teenager) in 4-beds room with bathroom and refrigerator, quite spacious, with large dinning table. There is a shared kitchen, well equipped, with tea, coffee, oil, spices, you can use. Host (David) was very kind and helpful. There is a free parking all around the hotel, there was no problem finding free space (right in front of our window). Large maerkets and petrol stations near by. Excellent public transport (tram and bus) connection with the centre. Neighborhood is OK. Hostel is on the ground floor, and rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy in the morning, but not that much that it ould be something too disturbing.

Because we are two girls to go to Berlin to play, so it is quite important to stay safe. The location of this home is very good, there are subways, supermarkets, commercial streets, and Chinese restaurants (the reviews are quite high, but I did not eat). It can be considered as a quiet place. The hotel is quiet near the hotel. It will go back around 11:00 in the middle of the night. There will be no strange people wandering around. But after a five-minute ten minute walk to the commercial street, curry36 also has a branch there. The hotel looks like it will be after 3 pm, but you can leave your luggage in advance. A credit card guarantee is required before check-in, and if not, a debit card is also available. The English at the front desk is also good. (In addition, the iced peach steam in the lobby is very good) I live like a suite, 59 flat. Is the entrance to the living room? There is a sofa TV or something, going inside is a bed, a wall behind the bed is a table, you can make tea or coffee. The wardrobe is also over there. Overall it feels quite big, there are two bathrooms, the shower and the bathtub are separated in the bathroom. (The only downside is that the bath water is easy to overflow, and the bathroom is a wooden floor. It takes a long time to step on it. It feels a bit uneven.) Breakfast did not eat, so I don't know, the overall is a good hotel, not expensive, the service is not bad.

First don't trust the pictures on Booking. Com or anyother booking service even the hotels own site, it is even more over priced. Second comparing prices to hotels in Dubai, i would say they rank up to a half star. And this is berlin Germany. I guess the management should take a vacation and visit Dubai to learn about how the world advanced since the fifties or even the 1800s. In dubai for this price tag you get a big tv, water in the room as much as you want, a mini bar and nespresso machine, filled up complimentary every day and by all means a bigger room. Here even the interior design is done by an outdated designer i guess the room coughs old. The only good thing is the location but the price tag is high for the service and the hotel is outdated. They should charge like 35 Euros for the night. The staff didn't know how to operate the hdmi neither one can know from this old hotel remote control. The fridge had an ice pack in it to help cool stuff . The bathroom was too old and had 2in1 shampoo/body saop. The suites are the only moderised rooms here and have decent size. And the rooms are not sound proof you would hear the neighbors fart if they did. So the gym which was the only facility open had few treadmills and that's it. And they did not have a free cancelation policy. So basically it's a scam. Look somewhere else and check the rooms and make sure you have a free cancelation. Don't be fooled by the pictures and the Lamborghinis in the front.

Good location, small rooms but basic facilities and clean. It is convenient to travel, there are many attractions around, and the airport is about 26 Euros. The room booked did not include breakfast, but there was a buffet on the first floor, 12 euros for one person. To experience the local breakfast in Berlin, we chose to go out and have breakfast in the bakery. The hotel helps to make a reservation for a taxi and needs to pay for the service. A great hotel in a central location. The breakfast was great, although the atmosphere was pretty noisy taking into account the huge number of people staying at the hotel. The only disadvantage is that for parking I was not able simply to drive into the parking garage, although it says that no prior reservation is needed, so I suppose I had to call the hotel in advance and tell them I'm coming with a car. So I would advise Ctrip to update this part of the information. Nevertheless, if you want to pay 10€ instead of the 22€ a day for parking in the hotel's parking garage, you can consider the parking area at Gleisdreieck, which is around 5 minutes on foot from the hotel.

I booked a weekend away with my partner at this hotel and booked the room which had the games machine in it. We got there and it wasn’t in the room... Then the AC stopped working and I tried to call the front desk but the phone wasn’t working. So I went down to the front desk to ask for a handyman and the lady told me that a handyman would hopefully be up soon. We waited for 40 mins and I then had to walk back to the reception to be told by someone else that a handyman would not be coming but I would have to change rooms at that time of the evening. This is unacceptable. The staff was friendly so I can’t complain about their attitude. But this is still unacceptable. We got up at 11pm and drove home. And to add, this is a hotel with means there will be tourists there. Tourists usually don’t speak German. Why are all the tv stations in German?!

The rooms are really well presented, newly refurbished so all in great condition. The hotel is situation in a buzzy area of Berlin with lots of great bars and shops within very easy reach. That is an upside however my only critisism is that any of the rooms over looking the street are really noicy and the buzz from the bars below goes on late into the night, so for me i won't stay in any of the rooms overlooking the street as you simply don't get a good nights sleep, even during the Covid period. One final point is the rooms i have stayed in didn't have air conditioning (the portable air conditioner wasn't great) so again be careful as Berlin can get very warm. There is so much choive in Berlin these days and whilst the hotel is good, it is expensive and make sure you get a room without the noice interuption.

However, there are many parking spaces on both sides of the road at the entrance of the hotel. If you are lucky, you will find free spaces when you return at night. Pros: - warm welcome and farewell - friendly staff (each of them!) - clean rooms - conveniently located close to the railway station "Gesundbrunnen" - parking spaces available for a fee. Cons: - breakfast. The hotel charges you with € 10 for breakfast. The question is: What will you get for your money? Frankly speaking, it is disappointing! You get one bread roll, one slice of sausage, one slice of cheese, a mini-croissants, jam, a banana, a yogurt and orange juice. On my last day, the hotel reduced this offer and one of the two plates were replaced by the possibility to ask for cereals. It was not possible to get a second serving or make any changes according to your preferences. To avoid any misunderstanding: the quality was not poor but one bread roll for an adult is too less! In the surrounding area of the hotel are several cafés and bakeries located. To put you in the position to make your own judgement whether to order breakfast or not, please see the enclosed photos. Potential for improvement: - there is no garbage can in the hotel room (only a small one for sanitary products in the bathroom). It would not be only in the favor of the hotel guest but also in the one of the hotel staff if a garbage would be in hotel room to keep the room clean - in particular in the light that due to the Covid19-issue, the room will be cleaned up only on special request. Further information: - there is no safe in your room but lockers in the lobby area. - a few steps away from the hotel is the train station "Gesundbrunnen". At this station are long-distance trains (ICE), regional trains (Regional Express), suburban trains (S-Bahn) and the metro arriving and leaving. For example: it is a 4 minute ride with the Regional Express to Berlin main station and a 8 minutes ride with the metro "U8" to Alexanderplatz. - In front of the hotel are free public parking spaces. If you prefer a safe place to park your car, the hotel offers own parking spaces in the courtyard for € 15 per night. - In the neighborhood of the hotel are located several German (Lidl, Aldi, Rewe) and Turkish (eurogida) supermarkets and the shopping center "Gesundbrunnen".

The apartment was spacious and nicely decorated, with a very good supply of kitchen utensils and crockery. There is a full-size cooker and oven, microwave and fridge. A free laundry is located in the building basement. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment is quiet. This apartment also has a balcony with chairs and table. The only minor drawbacks were that the shower rose could not be adjusted sufficiently to avoid splashing a considerable amount of water on the bathroom floor, and the lighting in the living area is quite dim. All staff we encountered were cheery and very helpful. The apartment location is good, being not too far from public transport stops, supermarket and other shops, and the local area is pleasant and interesting for a walk around. So, before jetting off to Berlin, my girlfriend and I read the reviews and found out that one side of the hotel was loud near the U Bahn overground train which made alot of noise with passing trains. We requested well in advance a room at the front of the hotel where there was less noise. On arrival, we were told we had to wait until 3/4pm as the quieter room was not made up. Finally when we checked in and viewed the room, our room was actually one of the louder rooms near the track. The next morning, we decided to have breakfast in the hotel for a cost of €8.50. Before paying, I asked a staff member was it an english/Irish hot breakfast and instead of saying he does not speak english and call someone who does, he just nods his head. We buy the breakfast and to our dissapointed, the breakfast consisted of breads, cereals, cold meats and cheese, oh and boiled eggs. I confronted the manager and he said it was my fault that the staff member told us the wrong information about breakfast. I then asked the manager about the room and he never said sorry, he just said go clean your room and you can move to a quieter room....which really was not that much quieter. Hotel is ok but the manager had the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I love Berlin but I wont stay there again.

We liked that the bar was open on Saturday evening way after midnight, so we could enjoy a couple of drinks after we came back late to the hotel (maybe common in Berlin) We came with the car, there are a few spots outside on the street (residential area, but seems possible to find some spots) and they have also a parking garage. The hotel is located only a few hundred meters from Bellevue, and has a really good connection with the bus. From Bellevue you can take the line 100 directly to the Reichstag, or continue on to Alexander Platz. There is also a bus line stopping right in front of the hotel (coming from Potsdamer Platz). It was really easy to get around. Also, we had quite a reasonable rate for Berlin. So definitely a place I can recommend for a short stay in Berlin.

Booking the staff looking for their hotel to confirm, otherwise the room type cannot be confirmed. I booked a double bed and was replaced by a big bed room. The breakfast is quite expensive, but there is a big supermarket nearby, where you can buy breakfast at the supermarket. The hotel's environment is still very good.
