Just returned from a week here, rooms were adequate enough although maybe a bit basic for my taste. My main problem was....I clearly stated back in February when I booked that I have mobility issues therefore needing ground floor. Each day of climbing 4 slights of stairs was a struggle for me! Location was great, just right for beach lovers like us. Rooms were cleaned well on a daily basis. My other half thought the food was lovely but i wasnt a fan, i found it so samey , so we went out to eat a couple of times. Even with my issues i think a perfectly nice place to stay and great location and friendly staff. Everyone wants something different from a hotel dont they and this just wasnt for me, the appartments are 200 metres from the hotel but i didnt actually mind that

Stayed for one week in studio 4a. No lift so if you are not good on your feet wouldn't be suitable. We however where rewarded with an excellent views of the beach. Comfy beds and spotless, cleaned daily with fresh towels. Never made breakfast but evening meal was always tasty. Staff from reception, restaurant, bar and housekeeping all did an excellent job and made us feel very welcome. Was my birthday when there and was given presents in room and surprised with a lovely cake and cava in the restaurant that evening. Great location and value for money and would definitely stay here again.

I most surprised that the only July reviewer didn't mention the virus, in any way. However, I arrived in Benidorm on the 29th June., and was really worried about the effect that the virus had on hotel facilities and arrangements. For this reason, I picked out two 4 star hotels (2 hotel stay). Put simply the Hotel Voramar, was as good as I dared hope for. All virus protocols were observed. A very nice welcome at reception, The rooms are excellent (single rooms do not have balcony). The pool area on the roof is impressive. Given the the coved situation, the restaurant was superbly organised. I am bit of a fussy eater, but to most the food would be just fine. The hotel is perfectly positioned for the old town, and even nearer to the Poniente Beach. I was most impressed with the service. So allowing latitude for the virus situation, I could not fault the hotel on this occasion, at all.

We arrived before the check in time but the 2 rooms that we'd booked were ready and we were checked in quickly. Got the safe for the 3 nights we were there (it was 5 euros 40 along with a 10 euro deposit) didn't bother with a fridge and had brought our own kettles. Went up to the rooms - I'd requested the rooms to be on the same floor - they were next to each other on the 2nd floor. We booked seaview rooms and the view was lovely Rooms were clean, twins for single use with a shower room. Plenty storage and although the shower room was small it had everything you needed. There were free toiletries, sewing kit and a comb. Shower had great water pressure and plenty hot water. We were booked in bed and breakfast. There was a good selection of food to choose from at breakfast and the restaurant had plenty of seating Visited the lounge on the 6th floor for a cocktail. The view was beautiful and the cocktail was good too. Also visited the bar on the ground floor level for a night cap. There was a guy singing one of the nights and the Spanish residents were enjoying a dance The hotel has mainly Spanish guests but that wasn't a problem for us. We were there at November Fiesta time, we could view some of the procession from our balconies which was nice if not a bit noisy due to the fireworks/fire crackers that were let off at frequent intervals I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to everybody. I would recommend that you book a seaview room

We stayed here for 3 nights 14th-17th Feb.we had a quadruple room which is actually 2 separate bedrooms with 4 single beds and a shared bathroom. It was immaculately clean modern and looked like the hotel had recently been refurbished. We had a huge balcony with sun loungers and table and 4 chairs. There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room or hairdryer but I believe you can hire a hairdryer but I'm not sure about a kettle.we were bed and breakfast and I have to say we loved the breakfast as it was fried eggs ,bacon, sausages and beans every day plus all the usual fruits, cereals and cold meat platters etc.The staff are very helpful and kind and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is in a good position in old town. Its about a 7-10 minute walk to seafront depending how fast you walk.We will definitely return and I cant believe this hotel is only a 3 star as it's so nice. We come to Benidorm twice a year out of season infact I have been to Benidorm too many times to remember and this is by far the best hotel we have stayed in.

It is totally unfair about how people discribe these apartments. You should look at your booking agent's they are the problem. There are several privately owned Apartments that are perfectly presented. There is nothing wrong with the apartment block it's clean and well maintained. If people are getting large amounts of money stolen then why are they just leaving it lying around. This block is mainly privately owned with just the odd ones that a hotel uses as a overflow when they are full. This is to give you cheap accommodation.

This was our first visit to the Riudor, having spent most of our holidays at the Ambassador Playa across the road. We had always wondered what the Riudor would be like, so decided to give it a try. Firstly, its position. Rooms look onto either the Black Chicken bar or, alternatively, the Talk of the Town and Valentine's nightclubs. Both sides are noisy with Benidorm "revellers" but by closing the balcony doors it helps to drown out the din. But this IS Benidorm, after all! Rooms were kept clean and towels etc replaced every day. Rooms have tea/coffee-making facilities and are replenished daily. Our room had a walk-in shower, which was a boon for my partner who has slight difficulty getting into and out of a bath. The room also had a mini fridge. A safe is provided free of charge with only a €3 deposit for a key, refunded on departure. No complaints about the hotel in general, which was clean and suited our needs. Our only gripe concerns the restaurant. Not enough staff clearing tables and we often had to find ourselves cutlery as tables hadn't been laid. We also saw guests taking their own plates etc to the trolleys used to stack used crockery. The food. Breakfast was fine. We didn't partake of lunch so cannot comment on that. Dinner. In previous hotels we found a much greater choice. It's somewhat limited at the Riudor, hot food-wise. I also found myself using the microwave on several occasions as some of the food was less than hot and warm plates were difficult to come by. All In all, a decent enough stay but I have knocked off two stars due to restaurant/food issues and noise, the latter being an issue which cannot be avoided. We'll probably stick to the Ambassador Playa in future.

Great location with a 25 mins walk to the beach, 30 mins to the main strip of bars, & near the old town. The hotel was as quiet as it gets in Benidorm over night & free parking nearby. The check in was easy, with a car parking space outside to unload bags - we then found a car park 10 mins walk away towards the motorway. Our room was a good size, with a double bed, single bed & a desk & chair on the 4th floor plus a good size outside balcony. We only stayed the one night but I would be happy to stay longer, especially for the price we got via booking.com. Breakfast was what I would expect - bread to toast, a great selection of jams, ham, cheese, pastries, along with yoghurt, fruit & cereals. Tea, coffee & juice also available. The bed was very comfortable & the shower good too with plenty of clean towels & toiletries. Overall, a great find for the price. The only negative was the room smelled of drains when we entered as the room hadn't been used the night before. This soon cleared wirh the balcony door open.

There is no doubt that the endless development in Benidorm reminds you of a concrete high rise jungle, having said that, the Sandos Monaco is a superb choice as a restful and well equipped hotel. The hotel is adult only, and offers the full range of board choices including a ‘select’ option. We chose to go all inclusive in a ‘select’ room. I would strongly advise everyone to go for the ‘select’ option as there are so many perks and advantages. The select rooms are larger and on the top two floors of the hotel, standard rooms are quite small, the select rooms are an acceptable size I would describe as medium, however it is the extras in the room and around the hotel that ensure that choosing a select room is well worth the extra cost. Select rooms, as well as being larger have a coffee machine, a nightly turn down service with chocolates, Cava on arrival, free access to the sauna and spa, free safe, free mini bar and access to the private bar and terrace. The room itself has a large four-piece bathroom set with a shower over bath, there is a hair dryer and a great range of toiletries including razor, toothbrushes and a multitude of little extras too many to mention. There was ample storage space and the room itself was in excellent condition with dark wood furniture and two comfortable queen sized beds. The mini bar was well stocked and free to use. The internet was extremely fast, running at about 30mbs which is excellent for a hotel, it is free to use. There are several European plug sockets around the room and the TV produced an excellent picture quality with a huge range of programmes including most BBC and ITV channels. The rooms, public areas and the hotel in general are spotlessly clean and a credit to the hotel. There is a well-equipped gym with a full range of machines and equipment, though it was rare to find anyone using it. There is a large outdoor swimming pool but even for hardy Brits it’s a little cold to use at the beginning of March. The hotel is a few minutes walk to the sea front, where there are more bars than you can shake a stick at, and it is also close to the old town. In the large and well-appointed foyer there is a base for holiday reps who can provide information on organised trips. The hotel reception staff are pleasant, efficient and welcoming, they are able to help with directions and suggestions and also provide maps and help in a multitude of ways. There are two bars, one on reception level and this is where the private bar is. Access is gained to the private bar with a swipe card and it is like walking into a peaceful inner sanctum. There is a TV and a large screen computer for anyone wishing to keep up with emails etc. There are easy chairs and a private terrace area which is lovely to sit and take in the sun with a G & T. There is a self service bar with a range of spirits which would put many pubs to shame, you name it and its there. There is a huge range of soft drinks, tonics etc

We rarely do all inclusive, but we got such a great deal it was silly not, despite the reviews we were expecting much. How wrong were we? The hotel was excellent, rooms spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for you and waiter service on the terraces and dining room. Food was very good too. We met some great people here too. When we were sitting on the terrace of the morning of 13th March waiting for our pick up, we both said we could easily have another week. Well done to all the staff, we’ll be back, one day

Just had a week's holiday here, read recent reviews before arriving here, and honestly say the negative reviews were unfounded. The hotel is spotlessly clean, food is very good and well presented with plenty of choice for all different tastes, our bedroom was kept spotlessly clean, all the staff from reception to bar staff and restaurant staff, and room maids work tiresly to keep the hotel well run are very friendly, the hotel is very comfortable with a very modern decor, I have no complaints at all with the hotel and will definitely recommend it to friends and any other people thinking of staying here, as I am sure they will get the same high standard of stay that we had. This was a hotel we'd always fancied trying, but was a little unsure if I'd like the pool area being so close to the promenade, so when we were moved here for the last 4 nights of our holiday, due to the Melia Benidorm, where we had been staying, sadly having to close, we were very happy with the move. We found the hotel to be very clean, comfortable and with excellent Covid safety procedures in place. A much smaller hotel than either Sol Pelicanos/Ocas, where we usually stay, or the Melia, it had a much more intimate, friendly feel to it, especially at meal times, with a smaller restaurant, which had amazing sea views. The breakfast and lunch food selection and quality were really good (we did not have an evening meal there as the times were far too late for us) The general decor in the hotel was either a bit tired looking, or had been deliberately themed in the 1970's style, not sure which! We were allocated a side sea view room, which was very nice, but a little small, compared to the room we had had at the Melia, although the bathroom was far superior, with a huge walk in shower. I asked at reception if I could have a kettle for the room, which the Melia had been happy to provide, free of charge, but was told no, they didn't have any kettles. I said I would have to go and buy one then as I need my coffee! However, a few minutes later, when we were actually in the pool, the man I had asked came out and said they would provide one, and it would be in our room by the afternoon, which it was, complete with cups, spoons, tea bags and bottled water! I was very impressed! The pool was actually bigger than it looks from the promenade and I didn't feel overlooked or on display at all, which had been my initial reservation about this hotel. It was also much warmer than pools usually are in October! Probably because it was smaller and in the full sun all day! Would we actually choose to book this hotel again - I'm not sure, to be honest as the location was closer to the old town than we usually stay, so a long walk back to the Rincon area. Also, it is considerably more expensive than our usual hotels, but also has a much more "grown up" and relaxed feel to it. The dining experience was certainly more pleasant than any other hotel in Benidorm we've stayed at, so on balance, I wouldn't rule out staying here again, if the price was right. We actually loved it and would highly recommend for anyone looking for an adult only hotel, in this location.

A great modern hotel located close to the beach and center of Benidorm. Hotel room equipped with very comfortable beds and made up everyday. Hotel facilities really good and food variety quite good for those who aren't vegetarian. As per request they do elaborate 1 or 2 dishes to not make it limited for vegetarians. Staff great, polite, professional and some really friendly. Particularly would really like to thank Cozmin, Pepe, Rocio, the cleaner on the 5th floor, Mari, the entertainer and the cooks for having made our stay excellent, so comfortable and entertaining. The only con in our stay was the heating system that couldn't be regulated by us guests despite being off. Nevertheless would recommend highly this hotel and repeat my stay.

We returned on the 15th March following our 2nd visit in 12 months. Sadly we were caught up in the coronavirus lockdown which impacted on the last 2 days of our holiday. Staff at the hotel were excellent and managed the situation very well. Rooms- spotless and had everything we needed. Pool area- lovely! Plenty of sunbeds and weather was great! Staff- Lovely and attentive Food- Much improved on last year, plenty of choice. Ideal central location. Lovely stylish hotel with great facilities. Negatives- Only 2 small ones...I dont feel you should have to pay for water with your evening meal (dont get charged for drinks at breakfast). Poolside - I know that this is NOT the fault of the hotel but it was uncomfortable to hear a dog crying/yelping/wailing EVERY day in the residential block next door. All in all a fabulous stay and would certainly return!

Visited mid March and were immediately impressed with the smooth check in and our first view of our room which was modern and extremely clean and welcoming. Enjoyed the good variety of food at all meals along with the great value drinks. The entertainment was very good each of our first three evenings until along with everything else it was locked down by the emergency situation caused by the virus, The management and staff were terrific in a very stressful situation keeping everyone informed and maintaining a smile. Obviously we were very dissapointed not to be able to enjoy all our stay the way we had started it so we will certainly be returning when it is possible, when we hope the people of Benidorm and the Rio Park have recovered.

Have just returned from a week over half term with my mother and my son. Can not fault this hotel it's true amazing. The level of cleanliness is faultless with our room clean every day and always smelling fresh. The outdoor pool was a little chilly considering the time of year but the indoor pool lovely and warm and again clean and tidy. Entertainment for winter was amazing and very well enjoyed. Food was fantastic and a lovely variety every day lots of local dishes. Staff friendly and couldn't be more helpful. The hotel is a little way out but personally I think this works in its favour. The bus to town stops right outside and there's a supermarket a short walk away. I can be very critical but this hotel truly deserves the 4 stars it has and I wouldn't hesitate to go back again.

The hotel in general, from 10. First of all, one thing to highlight and that for me is very important. The spectacular bed, I think I have never rested so well in any other hotel. I looked at the label on the mattress to take a picture of it and consider buying it when I change mine, wonderful. Food very very good. Everything I tried I liked and I did not find anything that was bad, and the variety was good too. The only downside I would put is for the juice. The juice is bad, actually quite a bit. Very good location. Close to the beach and with plenty of parking space. Very very clean and spacious facilities. 3 pools with a bar outside to have a drink while you sunbathe. Good atmosphere. The truth is that all I can say are good things, removing the small drawbacks such as the juice, the water in the shower, that the temperature is not constant and it is difficult to hit the mark and that some employee is not entirely friendly, but otherwise, spectacular .

We were substituted this hotel as ours was not open and all I can really say is we won a watch. This hotel is lovely, service in the bars and restaurants is good and its premium drinks included in the AI package. The roof top bar is nice and although the lounger beds were quite low they offered a magnificent view over the sea. Our room was spotlessly clean, mini bar was replenished everyday and rooms were cleaned/made up. We were a group of 3 girls in our 40's. The hotel was mainly Spanish people but I'd say this is due to people doing staycation's. Our room faced out to the sea so it really was a fantastic view to wake up too. The pool is small and there isn't many beds so if you want a spot get down early. We didn't do the entertainment at the night however Sam who is the lady running the shows etc was lovely and she did keep us informed as to what was on etc. I would definitely stay here again and would be happy to take my children and husband here.

I booked our stay back in December before Covid came into play, and wasn’t sure we were going to end up staying. With UK restrictions on travel lifted 4 days before our flight, we were able to come and I’m glad we did. We debated not coming as we had never been to Benidorm before. It’s absolutely fantastic. On arrival we were met by Jordi, and he was lovely. Sorted our apartment out fast, and made sure we had everything we needed. We were given apartment 3B which was perfect as we didn’t want to be too high up, and we could see the sea, and also the mountainside from our balcony. There’s also two lifts which is a nice thing to have, as I know some apartment buildings only have one, and they are clean. Our apartment was immaculate. Largest fridge/freezer I think I’ve had in an apartment before which suited us to keep our drinks nice and cool. Microwave, toaster, coffee machine, and cooker top all in good condition and were great to have. Washing machine was definitely made use of a few times. TV channels had enough in English to find something to watch. They also had English radio which suited us later at night when we didn’t want to stay out all night so we could play some music and relax. The living space was large, pull out bed/sofa was comfortable too. Nice to have a table and chairs inside too. The bathroom was very spacious, good shower and again super clean! Balcony had its own furniture so unlike most places no need to bring the chairs from inside onto the balcony. Was very spacious so was very lovely. T On our 5th night we accidentally left our key card in our apartment, and Jordi was so understanding and can’t fault that, and he came out of his way to sort it for us and let us in on his day off which we really appreciated. Next time think I will make sure my sister doesn’t put both cards into her bag instead of one in each 🙈 There’s plenty around the apartments, there’s a small shop facing which has stayed open until 11pm which is handy. Pretty much everything on Calle Esperanto has been open throughout our whole stay so if one night you didn’t fancy going far, you definitely don’t have to! There’s a large mercado store a 5 minute walk away which we went to for all the things we needed Which we couldn’t get over the road which was great to have so close. The bar downstairs is brilliant. They have plenty of drinks to choose from, and the breakfast is brilliant. We had it 3 times, and didn’t leave a crumb! It’s not expensive and is definitely worth the money! The bar is open until late, and it’s great to nip down for a drink. They would also bring drinks to us at the pool if we went in to order one which was a lovely touch they didn’t have to do. The people who run it go above and beyond in customer service. The pool area was great. If you are sunbathing, the benches were laid out so you are able to socially distance which is nice. It was clean, temperature was perfect and routinely cleaned. We were at the pool

This hotel was allocated to us following the closure of our original hotel due to Covid 19. We certainly fell on our feet with this hotel. 4 star, spotlessly clean, pleasant staff, good breakfast choice and very central to all amenities, shops and transport. There is a taxi rank immediately in front on the main strip and very close to the levante beach. The area was Policed every 15 minutes checking people were masked other than sunbathers on the beach and if you were eating or drinking. I felt completely safe in the hotel and on the street. Would definitely visit this hotel again. .One of the best of my extensive travels..

Read some reviews as we was travelling on the bus from the airport and thought oh no there's road works and building work going on but they don't start till 8am so not going to wake you up really, wasnt really a bother to me and the family having that going on. Went full board, food wasn't bad with different choices each time. Being our 2nd visit we had a bottle of brut which was nice of them. Staff was very friendly I thought, talking to my 3 year old every time they seen him. Room was tidied up every day, stayed at 514. Bed was comfy and also the pillows.. Definitely would recommend it to families but there are mostly older people who stay here,French and German people I think, you know you'r not getting loud neighbour's waking you up late or at least I didn't notice any noise from our room anyway. Bars all close by and so's the beach. Will come back in about 2 or 3 years time.

Went here with Jet2 holidays 10/03/2020 for 1 week. Can't praise the hotel and staff highly enough. Asked for a high floor via email prior to our visit and was given a room 22nd floor (thank you)! Excellent view of pool towards the sea. Comfortable and modern room with large balcony and flat screen TV with English channels. Fridge for drinks and kettle etc... Paid a little extra for select upgrade. Well worth it with access to a private lounge and terrace and you can pour your own premium drinks between 1000-2400. Food was decent at all meals and we always found plenty to eat with no problems. Hotel very clean throughout. Entertainment was enjoyable (as far as hotel entertainment goes). Staff were excellent in every aspect, they were all friendly, helpful, pleasant and fun. Weather was superb for March, blue skies and sun almost every day, I don't know the temperatures but it was easily warm enough to sun bathe in shorts with no shirt on. Good mix of guests of all ages, plenty of different groups to chat to. Everything changed halfway through the holiday when the resort (and the whole of Spain) was basically put on lockdown, due to Coronavirus, and we could not go out of the hotel. However, despite all of the uncertainty and worry that this caused to everyone, including the staff, the hotel remained open for it's guests and still provided an excellent service to everyone (absolutely fantastic, you were all a credit to your hotel - thank you all so much). Jet 2 holidays and all of their staff were also all absolutely brilliant under what were very trying and uncertain circumstances for them and their staff. Despite the holiday being interrupted half way through (due to circumstances beyond anyone's control) we still had a brilliant holiday and cannot recommend this hotel or jet2 holidays highly enough). Once things hopefully return to normal (re the Coronavirus) my wife and I have vowed to revisit this hotel using jet 2 holidays as they thoroughly deserve our support and payback for the brilliant and admirable way in which they dealt with what must have been a very difficult and worrying situation). Muchas gracias.
