The New Otani Hotel in Takaoka was my home for three days. Centrally located Takaoka it was easy to commute with the railway station and the major tourist attractions here. The hotel is easy to find as it’s the only tall building in the proximity. The size of the room - executive single, was very small indeed, and I would not say it was altogether comfortable to work in. Having seen the double rooms on the other side of the corridor I will certainly be reserving this when I return next month. The hotel boasts a great selection of restaurants but they were all closed due to low occupancy caused by the reaction to the Covid 19 virus concerns. Front desk speaks good English. The ground floor coffee shop wouldn’t let me in for breakfast because breakfast wasn’t prepaid - even though I was prepared to pay. Bizarre. I gave this restaurant a wide berth thereafter. There is a supermarket near the back entrance of the hotel and they have a good selection of food and drink you can take back to your room. Hunger no more. A fair hotel at a reasonable price. Careful to book a double room if you want space though.
Hotel that can check in without being wet in the rain directly from Takaoka Station. Convenience stores have seven eleven at the station. The meal is on the hotel's 1.2 floor. There are many scattered on the opposite section across the road. When I checked in at the front desk, there was an explanation of the breakfast venue and an explanation of the artificial spring bath opened at check-in. The lobby and the room passage were renovated and sophisticated, but the room facilities were not changed, especially heating was common in all rooms and the temperature was not set. The first night was hot when it was turned on, and when it was turned off, it was not sleeping very much when it was cold, and when it woke up in the morning, it was hot in the room, and it was even hot even if the switch was turned off and the air was replaced by the window was opened. The second night was well sleeped by wearing clothes without heating. The electric switch in the room was on the bedside when I pressed the switch on the wall immediately after the entrance, and the main room switch was on the bedside. There was no closet, and the clothes were put on the hanger (two of the three were clips to stop the trousers), but I felt like I wanted a shelf or a box to put my clothes for a consecutive night. The desk had an outlet 2 floor and free Wi-Fi. Because it was a continuous night, I wanted a card that was not cleaned by the cleaning request on the door, and a card when I wanted to not wake up. The refrigerator is not deep and not very in. The public bath is on the third floor, and it is in the public bath with towels and bath towels from the room and room clothes. When entering the public bath, I took off the slippers and put the number card when I put it in the lower foot box, and I lost the mistake, and even if I made a mistake, I was very relieved because I put the light to disinfect the lower foot box. The dressing room was good with free lockers, cold water machines, dryers and hair care The bathroom had an inner bath, a water bath and a sauna, and it was possible to enter it comfortably. I am tired of the big sound of BGM and two songs.I want to expect the idea of reducing the sound and increasing the music in the future. Shampoo, rinse, body jump had the same organic in the public bath and the bathroom in the room, and the hair was good. The check-out response was good.
I think the splendid conditions are good in front of Takaoka station. It was still new, the facilities were substantial, and the comfort room was comfortable with the bed. The breakfast is also full of menu. As a business hotel, I stay at the route inn of the color 々 area, but I think there is no hassle and a good chain.
As soon as the Ruilong Temple exit at the south exit of Gaogang Station came out, it was very easy to find on the right hand side. In the business hotel in the sense of the ground, the room was not bad, and it was spacious at this price. It's just that this side is very lively and there are almost no shops nearby.
Japan’s May 1st Golden Week, because it is really impossible to book a hotel in Kanazawa, consider repeatedly, go to Gaogang for a night, and come to an urban half-day tour in the afternoon. The hotel is very close to Takaoka Station. It is just a short walk from the South Exit. It should take 2 minutes on foot. The hotel is mini-miniature, with disposable toiletries and towel bathrobes at the front desk. On the first floor there is a restaurant and a small lounge with a self-service coffee machine and tea for free. The room was bigger than expected, and there was a small coffee table on the sofa, which was really crowded with two people sleeping in bed. Other equipment is similar to traditional Japanese hotels. The breakfast is good, there are not many types, but everything is very stomachy.

At the south exit of Takaoka Station, you will see a striking left-facing nine-story building with a yellow roof ad, 500 meters away. The breakfast was good and there was a taste of home cooking. Going out for 10 minutes, you can walk to the Maeda Lichang Cemetery, and the side is the Longji Temple. Take another 10 minutes to reach Guobao Ruilong Temple, then walk for 10 minutes and return to Gaogang Station. During the stay, I happened to meet the Takaoka Tanabata Festival, there was a road show, there was a fireworks, and it was awesome.
The hotel is located at the exit of Shin-Takaoka Shinkansen Station, and there is a bus stop in front of the hotel. Convenient to travel small Japanese style room but clean breakfast can be served as a buffet. There is a vending machine in the lobby. This is cheaper than a mini supermarket. Seven hotels are located at Shin-Takaoka Station, just a few steps away from the hotel, and less than 5 minutes to reach Takaoka Aeon Mall, where there are many shops including GU and Uniqlo. If you go there again, you may stay here because of this hotel. The single most famous place is near Shin-Takaoka Station.
