      I am a frequent guest at Vagabond Inn, Glendale even before it was renovated (around 6 years already). I truly love the service, location, rooms and the people. This is truly a home away from home. The rooms are always clean and they do cleaning everyday (if you wish), the staff is warm especially Rozi the manager who ensures that your stay is going well and the location is truly unbeatable. There is no other option for me in Glendale.

      The location was perfect for our trip as my daughter needed to be at the State Board of Cosmetology very early the next morning. The hotel lobby clerk was extremely friendly and welcoming. Our room was facing the main street and even up on the 5th floor the noise of the traffic was still quite loud. The view from the room was nice. Parking was tacked on for $16.95 additional charge. The beds were hard although the pillows were lovely. There were 3 of us staying in the room for which all were listed on my reservation however, we were only left with 2 towels total. The water from the shower was just warm enough to not be considered torture. They did offer pre packaged breakfast that consisted of a tiny bagel (unable to toast or heat up due to covid) and cream cheese, a package of nuts and package of shortbread cookies. Overall, I feel I paid way too much for this room for what we received.

      This place was a great place to have a romantic evening with my girlfriend. We booked one of the rooms with a jetted tub and it was so relaxing. The room was massive with an over sized jacuzzi tub in the room which was the main reason we booked. The manager, Remy, was very accommodating and made everything easy for me. Definitely coming back, for the price this place is great.

      We stayed here 21 days in parts of December and January and again 18 days in March. This was an excellent place for us. Convenient to the 134 freeway - to Burbank airport and easy routes to other LA area. Room first time was a little "shop worn" but beds comfortable. Having two rooms to spread out a little over a long stay was very helpful especially after long days out. The room the second stay was somewhat better and bathroom sink arrangement better (larger for toiletries). We took the park and stay rate which saved us a few bucks a day over the basic AAA rate The best part of this hotel is its free breakfasts, which you won't find at other chain motels. An omelet bar, an area with just the eggs, meat potatoes and usually pre made pancakes or half waffles. The oatmeal was great, with 'toppings'. Whole fruits available. Other muffins, and fix your own bagels or English muffins. But note, if you are there in a busy season, the omelet line can be long. A rearrangement of where things are might be helpful as well. There was a pool, which we didn't use. The first trip was cold and rainy. Second trip warmer and many were using the outdoor pool. The staff was always great. A shout out to Alex at the desk (he helped me answer questions prior to coming when I called) and several times met our specific needs when we were there the second time. Deborah was great in checking people in and managing the breakfast area when extra busy. So great to have a happy, welcoming face every morning! Cynthia at the desk also helpful and one of the room attendants was also super (Japrice). Overall, we highly recommend this Embassy Suites in Glendale.

They even give you a "breakfast bag" every morning since they can't serve breakfast because of the Covid! The housekeepers are great! They do an awesome job keeping the rooms stocked up and making sure I had everything I needed!!:) the maintenance man is awesome! Fixed my tv as soon as I told him something was wrong! The security guards are cool also! The pool is open!! Yay! The only thing that sucked was the parking lot! I scratched my car trying to get out! But all in all, A++!! I will be back!
