      We were told by a maskless young woman when we checked in that due to Covid there is no traditional maid service. So the hypocrisy struck me right away. She said certainly the Maid would come in to refresh the room but if we wanted towels or anything we would have to ask. I was so confused as to what “refreshing the room” meant. Broken elevator…. No biggie. Room placement right next to elevator …. Thanks maskless woman….. locked safe so we had to call down and the phone didn’t work. ….crumbs on floor and hair on comforter. Then insult to injury the next day, we never got that refresh and so went to the desk to request coffee packets and the gentleman on duty, rather then just grab us some coffee packets was a bit indignant that we surely should have been told about no maid service so we really shouldn’t be perplexed. This was not good customer service. I really feel sorry for the maids as they surely are not getting their same tips. Courtyard…. Rethink some of your ways please.

      Our second stay at The Adelphi was at least as good as the first. We stayed in a Broadway Suite with a comfortable king bed and modern remote controls for shades, blinds, and lights. Complementary mini-bar and lovely well-appointed room furnishings made it hard to decide on a cocktail in the room or down in the bar. In-room coffee (Nespresso pods) could have been better: only had a limited provided variety of coffees. We had dinner at the bar and room service breakfast, both were delicious, plentiful and well-presented. Service overall was excellent, as expected. If you travel to Saratoga Springs you must give The Adelphi a try for a luxurious stay. You won’t be sorry.

      This is a perfect country inn, the hardware is nothing to say, the restaurant, the bar, the parking lot, the fireplace in the hall burning, the retro high bed in the room is very comfortable, there are lots of interesting retro furniture, the lighting is gentle, the bathroom hair dryer and Coffee machines are available. The breakfast is very rich, with free hot water, tea and coffee all day, the staff is friendly and courteous, and the bar singer on Saturday nights brings the atmosphere to the next level. This is the best hotel I have ever seen in the United States. Great location, walking to all attractions, will definitely come back!

Gave us a good tip for dinner, We were celebrating our anniversary & when we got back from dinner there was a chilled bottle of wine waiting. Very nice gesture. We have stayed here before and they are consistent with the staffs ability to make everything right.

      This hotel and property had that “ home away from home” feel sprinkled with personal attention that made this guest feel very special. I was in town for two weeks to facilitate a dear friend who was transitioning to hospice care . When I reached out via phone to check out this hotel, the manager was over the top, accommodating and intuitive and it was her and her well trained staff that helped make my almost two week stay a stress free and special place to be. From checking in with me and asking if I needed anything to providing great breakfast, coffee and spring water bottles too! Thank you general manager Janice and her crew as your leadership and staff from front desk to housekeeping were amazing, kind and professional .It was exceptionally well kept, clean, quiet and I loved the fireplace too! This Best Western Plus hotel was superior in all ways and I highly recommend this property to everyone visiting the Saratoga Springs area!

      Gideon Putnam Resort and Spa

      My friends and I visited the Gideon for a long weekend of spa, food and relaxation. The spa was fantastic! We all enjoyed our mineral bath soak and massage. The spa staff were/are top notch! The buffet breakfast we had on our last morning there was wonderful. TOM and the other gentleman who drives the shuttle are friendly and are a wealth of information about the area and events. However our room (413) needed some improvement. The dresser appeared to be scratched, and the TV didn't work when we turned it on. We did some basic tracing of plugs, etc. and were able to fix it. On our last evening in the room the refrigerator stopped working and we had to throw away the hard boiled eggs that were purchased earlier in the day. Again we checked plugs, etc and saw nothing obvious as to why the refrigerator no longer worked. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom is in need of an intervention. It looked as if it was updated with a new lighting fixture and tub surround (excellent). BUT the bathroom wall with the sink looked as if a small child spackled it (very lumpy and you could see indentations in the wall where other fixtures used to be). Above the sink was a tile soap dish and another tile accessory. We could not tell what accessory it should have been since it was cleaved off the wall (all you saw was a jagged tile outline of what was there). We also noticed that the white tile had a green underlayer since some of the tiles about the room were peeling. My friends and I arrived on a Friday and left on a Sunday. Upon returning from our day on Saturday we noticed that our room was not turned over (beds made, fresh towels, etc.). We called the front desk and they indicated that when were were out for dinner they would come and tidy the room. We returned around 10:30pm and the room was not "done" and we had no fresh towels. We were offered guest services to come and tidy up the room when we called the front desk at 10:30pm, but we were all a bit tired and requested fresh towels which we received almost immediately. The Gideon has only been open a short period of time since its Winter Refresh. For the price we paid for the room, we have mixed feelings regarding our stay. The spa staff are wonderful, the food we ate was excellent, and overall the staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful but our room needed a more significant refresh.

      Beautful hotel and ******. Lack of breakfast on site is a deal breaker for us. Wont be back until that issue is resolved. Nothing available close to the hotel, you have to drive into the city of Saratoga. Mortons The Steakhouse is excellent, excellent food and service. Lighting in the rooms bathroom is not condusive to applying makeup, lights in the bathroom should always shine down from above the mirrors. Staff was very friendly and helpful, answer questions easily. Would definitely go back but not until the breakfast situation is resolved.

      Just returned from our 4th stay at the Homewood Suites in Saratoga, and the hotel and staff has yet to disappoint. The hotel is always immaculately clean. The entire staff is always pleasant, and we are always greeted with genuine smiles. Special thanks to Abi, Alex and Gaby at the front desk who go above and beyond. Rosanna from the sales department was so nice and friendly. She always asked if there was anything we needed to enhance our stay. Ashley and Melissa from the breakfast staff never stopped working and made us feel welcomed. The breakfast is offers a wide variety of great tasting items that are frequently replenished. Doug from operations was ready to bring us anything we may have needed quickly. Looking forward to returning soon.
