What i absolutely loved about the henn na hotel hamamatsucho was it’s location. It’s almost in the middle lf down town tokyo so it’s equidistance to get from one end of the yamanote to the other. My main gripe about my stay would be about the room. The wall socket on the desk is too close to the desk so i couldnt plug in my international adaptor to use my appliances on the desk. I had to plug it into the socket at the head of the bed which created a tripping hazard. The bed itself is not really a bed but like 3 thin matteress put together to form a bed. As such the gap between the lining makes for awful lumbar support and i literally woke up everyday with a backache in my back. It got pretty bad by day 12. This and the socket matter is what would have gotten them 5 points.

Conveniently located, on the way to Haneda. However, no sign on the building therefore very hard to find the place. Check in/out automatic, so the door-key was automatically canceled by 10:00 with our luggage inside, although we asked to leave slightly later, There are nice little restaurants in the neighbourhood

The hotel is located right next to Hamarikyu Garden and Gardenview rooms provides the spectacular view from the veranda. As Bonvoy PT member and my suite upgrade coupon, I was upgraded to Chapter 3 room. This room has two toilets and a very large living area with dining table which can be used for meetings. The bedroom has a big glassed corner to look out into the garden and the whole city including Tokyo Tower and Skytree. Quality of furniture and furnishings are very good with Imari Towels. The only drawback may be the iPad type of controls for the room which may take some learning. From Club Lounge, you can see Tokyo Tower and Skytree and enjoyed the high quality food they provide during Happy Hours We had Japanese beef with balsamic sauce! This is the best food I ever had in a Bonvoy Club Lounge. I highly recommend this hotel if you like a relaxed environment with good food. I had a Staycation here and had a very memorable experience. The staffs are relatively young, but they go out of their way to provide the service and made us very comfortable. GW週に旅行にいくかわりにこのホテルでステイケーシオンしました。 落ち着いた内装の部屋にベランダから浜離宮や夜景がたのしめます。(Gardenview Room). Club Lounge にもベランダがあって Happy Hourには カクテルや美味しい料理がいただけました。いろいろなホテルのClub Loungeの食べ物のなかでは 最高の味です。

Stayed 27 Mar to 31 Mar 2019. Cons: - Inconsistent information. On the night 3 of my group were departing for airport, it was raining and one of us had 3 pieces of luggage so my friend called from the room to ask the hotel to book a taxi big enough to take 3 persons and 6 pieces of luggage. Front desk declined to book taxi for us saying it’s not their hotel policy to do so. Unbelievable. We couldn’t understand why the hotel couldn’t do such a simple thing as booking taxi which other hotels (in the same price range) can do. And a 4th friend was departing the following morning, alone, with 2 large, heavy pieces of luggage, she has a previous wrist injury so she can’t lift any heavy weight, and rain was forecast for the following morning. The hotel’s refusal to book taxi caused us a lot of stress. Even if we call the taxi booking line, the operator likely doesn’t speak English. Then my 4th friend went down to check with the front desk personally. And then we were told that the hotel can call a taxi for us, or something about there was a dedicated phone at the front desk meant for calling taxis. ????? First we were told no, then we were told yes the hotel can help call taxi. And while my friends were down with the front desk, they spotted an incoming bigger taxi dropping off a passenger at the hotel, and we managed to get that taxi to take us to the airport instead. All this mis-information caused us a lot of undue stress. I would have given Meitetsu Inn a better rating if not for this fiasco. And when we asked hotel for estimated cabfare to Haneda airport, they said 3,000+ yen - this figure sounded inaccurate. In the end, we paid about 7,000+ yen for cabfare. - Aircon was not cold at all in my room, but cold in my friend’s room. We were out all day and had no time to feedback to front desk, so we just opened the window to let cold air in. Pros: - Generally good customer service except for the incident mentioned above. When I had left my handphone at a restaurant, front desk called the restaurant for me. Hotel gave us the extra bath towels we requested. Front desk was generally helpful. - good location i.e. 1 - 2 mins walk to the nearest subway entrance (Daimon subway station) and about 5 mins walk to Hamamatsucho station (monorail to Haneda airport) - clean room - hot water at generally consistent temperature, strong water pressure - spacious bathroom - bathroom, toilet and wash basin are partitioned into 3 areas making it convenient for different users at the same time, but this leads to a rather cramped room. If you re-arrange the furniture a bit (in twin room), you can lay out a large luggage case flat open but not two. I had to move the chair (hence blocking off the aisle on one side of the room to the bathroom / I didn’t mind climbing over the corner of my bed to cross over) and put my luggage under the desk. - convenience store right next to hotel - wifi connection is good. Advantages: 1. The hotel is in a good location. You can walk to Daimon and Hamamatsucho subway stations within five minutes. There is also a monorail near Haneda Airport to Daimon Station. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Ginza and Tokyo Tower.               2. The service is good and basically can be satisfied. It seems that the room does not provide free water.               3. For a hotel in Tokyo, the rooms are large and the price / performance ratio is OK.               4. Ctrip booking seems to check out at 1 pm.               5. Ctrip provides invoices, which can be used for company reimbursement or tax purposes. Invoices that appear to be for hotel stays cannot be reimbursed or taxed in the country. Disadvantages: 1. It looks like only one young lady speaks Chinese at the front desk, but English communication is fine.               2. The bed in the double room is not as comfortable as the twin room.               3. I want to stay for a few more nights temporarily and I am informed that the same room type has been booked. However, check-out is required at 11 am (remaining at the hotel lobby must be checked out at 11 pm), and then check-in at 2 pm. In these hours, you can only wait in the lobby or store your luggage and go out to visit the attractions.

Because it was newly opened in August, the online evaluation is relatively small, plus the distance of 2 kilometers from Ginza, so I want to try it. One minute from the tram line Zhuzhi Station. Just next to the platform, there is also a ferry next to it, and the boat is here. There is a family on the first floor of the hotel, and there is a food at the intersection. The hotel reception is on the 2nd floor and the rooms on the 3rd floor are all rooms. The front desk is self-check-in for the machine and there will be staff to help. There are Chinese staff. Free coffee, hot water, and ice water ice cubes are available at the front desk on the 2nd floor. Although there was no breakfast in the room, the staff said that they could come to eat from 6:30 to 10:00 every day. However, when we went to eat at 8 o'clock the next day, we were told that there were 300 copies per day, and it was gone. The staff were very enthusiastic. At 11:12 in the evening, we sat on the 2nd floor to eat instant noodles. We also asked us when we needed coffee and actively took hot water for us. The hotels in Europe and the United States, Koreans, and Chinese are still relatively many. The hotel is also close to the subway gate station, and jR Matsubamacho, also 600 meters away. Matsuhama-cho can take the express line directly to Haneda International Terminal, which is almost 10 minutes away. When we returned to Shanghai, it was Eastern Airlines, and it was convenient to get down at the International Terminal Building. Overall, go to Ginza, to the airport, this location is very convenient. It’s not so much to eat around, you need to walk a few hundred meters. There are also buildings around, but there is no noise and it will not affect sleeping at night.

Stayed in this hotel due to the proximity to Haneda airport, just 10 minutes from Tokyo Monorail. There was also a walkway to Takeshiba station on the Yurikamome railway connected to the Tokyo Metro. The room came with many amenities like tea, coffee, TV, pyjamas, toothbrush, etc. which was a big upgrade compared to previous business hotels I had stayed in my trip. I booked a non-smoking room and had no issues with smell. The bed was very comfortable and in Japanese standards, the room size was good. It was quite confusing checking in at first as you had to ride the elevator up to 4th floor where the check in counter was located. There were actually two different sets of elevators, one who went to the actually room floors, and another who went to the higher floors and to the entrance. There was a Japanese restaurant located in the hotel building as well as a breakfast and lunch restaurant. I did not try the breakfast as I left early every morning for sightseeing. The room also came with free Wi-Fi. I missed a coin laundry in the hotel though. There also was a public semi-onsen bath with jaccuzi and sauna which was included in the hotel stay. However, like many onsen and public bath places in Japan, there was a ban on having any kind of tattoo on the body. Some places in Japan accept if the tattoo is really small or covered up. Apparently tattoos are connected to Japanese maffia and guests might experience a bad stay if seeing such body art. However, as I used the public bath, I saw a lot of other faux pas behaviour by local tourists which made me wonder as there were signs up clearly describing how to use the onsen...

Turn right at Exit A2 of Damen Subway Station and walk for 200-300 meters. The house number is not very conspicuous. There is a parking lot next to it. The hotel is exquisite. I have stayed in other stores last year and they are all small. The front desk is not big but there are 3 service staffs, so the procedures are very fast. The little lobby also has a small sofa, coffee machine and storage rack. Although the coffee is free, I personally find it super hard to drink. Various small samples are placed in the storage rack, such as cleansing oil, facial cleanser, lotion, comb, shower cap, etc., all the beauty products are DHL, and almost every hotel's bath products are very good, so near For two years, Japan basically did not bring bathing suits. There are a lot of places to eat around the hotel. There are two or three noodle restaurants on the back of the building above the subway station. One of them is the Yifengtang, which is a favorite, and it is 300 meters more. There are several home pubs and roast meats on the path. The restaurant, both of them have been great! Talking about the hotel, when the reservation was made, the area of the Japanese hotel was considered small, so the least expensive one was deliberately not booked. The result was still small, and the box could only be opened between the entrance and the bathroom door, and Can only be opened after finishing one box and then open another. The hotel facilities are relatively simple and meet the most basic accommodation needs. Bottled water is not provided. The hotel is equivalent to the domestic business hotel chain standards. Fortunately, this time I'm traveling with friends. The main purpose is to travel and play. If you bring children or parents, you won't consider it here.

It was a little far from the station, and the check-in was smooth and stress-free. The room was much larger than a business hotel and a large suitcase was also spread out. There were few vending machines in the hall, but it was good because there was a convenience store nearby.

We stayed at this hotel two weeks after it opened. Extremely clean and right outside a subway station. There are restaurants nearby which you can have ramen or drink very late at night. We took monorail from Haneda airport to Hamamatsucho and walked about 10 minutes to the hotel with luggage. Great location as a base to explore Tokyo. We booked on Keikyuu Ex Inn Japanese website. You can't book on their English website.

Check in was a breeze, efficient and high tech. Godzilla head is an interesting feature of the hotel (esp. for fans), and location is great, right in the middle of the happening area. room size is good, can even be bigger if the toilet is joined with the bathing area. can bring the 2 single beds together to form a large bed.

Suidobashi/Tokyo Dome
Their service is nothing short of excellent. They have staff who are fluent in English (and other languages as well, I suspect). Me and my friend came thinking that we would be staying in a Single Room with Extra Bed since that was what we booked as we attempted to be more economic. However, to our pleasant surprise, our room was upgraded to a much much bigger room for free. We are very thankful to the helpful staff for making our stay pleasant and extremely comfortable. The location is great as it in located somewhere in between Iidabashi and Suidobashi which is pretty much close to the geographical center of Tokyo. Head east you will be able to visit Akihabara and Asakusa quick. Head west, you will be able to hit Shinjuku, Harajuku, and Shibuya. The neighbourhood is fairly quiet and the Tokyo Dome is just a 10-15 minute stroll away. If I am coming back to visit Japan, this hotel will be a clear top choice for me. Haven't had the opportunity to have the breakfast at this hotel, but I will certainly try it out on my next stay here.

If you loves omakase breakfast at Toyosu market, shopping at Venus Fort, Diver City, Aqua City, visiting the TeamLab Borderless and TeamLab Planets, and hot-spring at Ooedo Onsen, that's the perfect location. Even gives you quick access to Disney resort and Haneda Airport! Small rooms as usual but the one with twin double beds is excellent for parents with two young children. The only downside is no car-rental nearby.

Shinagawa
I cannot recommend this hotel enough. From it's central location (right across the street from the Shinagawa train station) and close proximity to many restaurants and shops, this will be our go-to hotel in Tokyo. Perfect for first time visitors and frequent visitors to Tokyo because of its location, amenities, and service. Close to public transit was a must when evaluating a hotel to stay anywhere, especially Tokyo because I didn't want to carry/drag luggage far. This hotel meets that as the hotel is located directly across the street from the Shinagawa train station. Also, the airport limousine bus stops at the Shinagawa prince hotel. Location to transit made this one of the top reasons why we loved this hotel. There are a few towers on property so the room you book determines which tower lobby you check-in too. There are plenty of signs in english to direct you to the appropriate check-in lobby and the staff are more than willing to help as well. Checking in was smooth and quick as our room was ready (we checked in around 7pm), clean, and spacious. Like I mentioned, there are lots of room types available you just have to find one that works for you. In this instance, a corner room King offered plenty of room and a rather large bathroom for Japanese standards. We actually ended up with a killer view of the Shinagawa train station. Spacious and clean rooms was another reason why we loved this hotel. In addition to the hotel being close in proximity to a central train station (both JR and local routes here), there are numerous shops and restaurants within the hotel property, adjoining the hotel property, and within walking distance to the hotel. A 7-Eleven, McDonalds, and food court are a few of the options on property with endless options for eating and shopping within walking distance to the property. Close proximity to restaurants and shops is also one of the top reasons why we loved this hotel. Above all else, what makes this property stand out is the level of service from staff and the cleanliness of the entire property, inside and out. Ever single staff member we interacted with was kind, helpful, and respectful. Everything from the lobby, guest rooms, hallways and public areas were clean, really clean, something we loved. Again, I cannot recommend the Shinagawa Prince Hotel enough and we can't wait to come back.
