|1km from city centerEasily in the top tier of hotels I've visited. What an experience. A) Friendly, helpful and attentive staff that makes you feel right at home, and makes sure they cater to your every wish. The whole experience from reservation through welcome at check-in and interactions with the staff during the stay had our whole family feeling great. B) Amazing quality of food. I usually don't book a package deal in hotels, opting to eat out at neighboring restaurants, however here we booked the full-board option and we loved every single dish. Food was fresh, made to order and the whole dining experience had the right mix of ”fancy” (Waiters bringing dished at the same time for the whole table) and ”casual” (Swapping dishes from the menu if time permitted, waiters joking around when appropriate). C) Great cleanliness and shape of the facilities in general. The hotel feels brand new even though it's been around for a few years now. The cleaning staff keeps all the areas including the common hallways spotless, so that despite the luxurious and plush interior, the hotel always feels fresh. Rooms were cleaned 2x a day. Overall one of my favorite hotels of all time, even compared to big fancy names like St Regis (New York, Abu Dhabi) or luxury boutique brands.

|1.38km from city centerWe met the Dvorzhak Hotel in 2006, when we first arrived at Karlovy Vara for a holiday. After getting holiday postcards in the following years, we were surprised how organized everything. From 2021 we come here every year by the whole family. The Recipes Violet and Natalia will always help with joy and smile to solve any issues arising. The Misha, Elishka and Tomash restaurant will feed delicious adults and small guests, and Radka with Ivanna will serve just greatly. They are very helpful by Angelina, Natalia and Maria. Oxana's rooms will clean quickly and when it is convenient. This year, the treatment is performed by a professional team: Ida, Alexander, Stefan, Jana, Petra, who are already on the start treating their attention and desire to help. This year, my son's birthday at the Dvorjac Hotel was organized perfectly thanks to Marika. Thank you for a wonderful holiday, dear ”Dvorzhak,” and necessarily before the meeting ❤️ Lyudmila Suvorova with children, Kiev, Ukraine.

Karlovy Vary
|1.72km from city centerThe building is impressive, enthroned up on the east hillside of Karlovy Vary. Habsburgian vibes reminiscent of ancient days. Imperial is in good condition and nicely renovated. The scale of the building is huge and dimensioned for thousands of guests. Walking around takes quite a bit of time but with lesser amount of guests than the mentioned thousand, it feels quite lonely to stroll the corridors... The public areas are mostly beautiful, but the five official stars... no, unfortunately not. What is lacking? Well, the scale of the property demands to keep it running. To keep it running you have to have a lot of guests. Thus, you have to attract people who not usually are in the ”five star category”. And so they (try to) do. Many things turn to ”cantina” standard in respect of both the reception and ”handling” of the guests and the dining options. Very tired staff at check in. One example: in the main lobby there are only two elevators, whereof one at our visit was out of order. Another elevator in another part of the hotel did not serve all the floors. Nah.... Rooms are renovated and just fine. All amenities and a good night's sleep in comfy beds. Nice with a small balcony. For those having some sort of boarding agreement, dinner is served as a buffet dinner in the magnificent ”Prague restaurant” with lavish decoration. A buffet is hardly a concept in a real five star hotel and we consequently had dinner in the more intimate ”Restaurant Paris” - see my separate review. In ”Prague” breakfast is also served, which proved to be a great gathering of all the hotel guests at the same time. More like a school cantina than a five star hotel. Everything in place though, and most thing you would want is there to find. Queues to the coffee machines... Parking was ”doen the hill” and we ended up parking on a tennis court (!). OK - no problem, but not in the ballpark of attending staff helping you with the parking facilities. Staff correct and polite. But very stiff. And tired. Many steps behind service of a true 5-star. It's about price/performance. We had the opportunity to stay at three different hotels at Karlovy Vary during our stay. And one of those was the Grandhotel Pupp, which we considered to be much more lika a true five star. AND they are/were cheaper! So, you may well stay at Imperial, just for the sake of the building's eminent history and athmosphere. But be aware that days gone by since the turn of the century does not apply in the respecto of ”grand” anymore.

|1.04km from city centerThe room is a large suite with a nice view. The photos were taken in the room or on the balcony of the room. There are parking spaces, but not too much. The front desk of the hotel is going out, and there is a small road that is the road to the observatory. It overlooks the panorama of the town and visitors are scarce.

|0.47km from city centerStayed here for a few nights for work during the 57th Karlovy Vary Film Festival. I liked this hotel although it was pretty hard to judge it properly as the entire place was PACKED due to the film festival with all areas and many floors of the hotel being used by companies and displays. It is a bit of an oddity in Karlovy Vary as it's a modern 15 floor tower / conference centre in a town full of Czech old world buildings (I can only imagine the uproar when they planned it). So it's a hotel that also has Spa / Medical Treatment / Swimming pool, thermal pool / pool party / conference centre and restaurants. It seems to be modern by local standards - I was in a superior room with a balcony on the 13th floor with great views. The room had all the mod cons available in most decent hotels, good wi-fi, USB Power outlets, nice firm bed, good regular housekeeping. One thing I noticed was that the beds didn't have a separate sheet, only a fitted sheet and then a throw over dooner - no big deal, just different. Downstairs restaurant doing breakfast / lunch / dinner with a lot of options and really good wait staff. There's a large separate building (accessed by hill climbing elevator) that has an outdoor heated pool, thermal pool, saunas, change facilities - there was also a Pool Party with DJ, bar etc on the weekend days / nights (I assume that's just in summer or just during the film festival). I believe you get complimentary access to the pools /saunas for a couple of hours every day of your stay - I used it every morning for laps, it was great. In the pool complex there's also a decent restaurant with amazing views. As I said, the place was packed and the staff all seemed to handle it well. Everything you could want outside the hotel is a short walk away and there's SO many restaurants / bars etc to choose from. Karlovy Vary wasn't on my list of places to visit, but now that I've been there I'd consider going back.

|1.32km from city center10 star for this hotel and customer service. I booked a 5x night stay in this hotel for my mum and her partner, for 70th birthday, and everything from start to bottom was absolutely perfect. Customer service as great as it can only get. Rooms stunning, restaurant, food, services, spa etc, not a bit that would need improving. Everything absolutely fabulous. I can only recommend to anyone who would like to visit Karlovy Vary. Thank you to all the staff in Corso hotel with all the help I needed during the booking, and my mum during her stay with you.

|1.55km from city centerWe had such a beautiful experience with the hotel and its staff! Our room was clean and prepared for our stay. I gotta tell there was no reconstruction near by so we even had a chance to take a nice afternoon nap; the hotel is super close to the center but still quiet!!! Well, it's true it's more up the hill but it's perfectly accessible by a taxi which always picked up us right in front of the building. Don't forget to visit their private spa! Everything was so clean and brand new; we felt like in heaven. It was a cherry on the top. Overall we had a great impression of the hotel!! We'll definitely come back next year

|1.32km from city centerWe were looking for a dog-friendly hotel, which often limits the choice a bit. The main features of the Hotel Palacky were the location and the value for money. The hotel is in a fantastic location right on Stará Louka, the ”promenade” of Karlovy Vary. Both the famous colonnades and the entrance to the cable car towards the ”Diana” lookout tower are almost around the corner. Surprisingly, I was able to sleep very well in the beds and cannot agree with the complaints, at least on this point. Now to the points that unfortunately attracted negative attention: the reception was not manned at check-in, our key was on the counter together with an information letter - this is uncomplicated, but everyone could simply come in and ”move into” our booked room. since nothing had to be shown or checked (as well?!). The room itself was large with an additional hallway and separate bathroom and toilet - which I personally find very convenient. Unfortunately the room was not cleaned during the whole stay. You don't have to do a big cleaning every day, after all you don't do that at home either. I also find the daily change of towels unnecessary. But if you have a dog with you and the entire room is carpeted, a little vacuuming would have been appreciated. The garbage should also be emptied, because there was only one small hygiene bucket in the toilet for the entire room - everything that accumulated in waste had to be disposed of there. The supply of toilet paper should also be checked once in a while and refilled if necessary. We found a fairly large crack in the window pane of our room - dangerous and unsightly! However, what was cleaned every day was the restaurant which is located in the hotel. There was vacuumed daily at breakfast time, so that you were always exposed to the noise during the meal, since the restaurant - with an open ceiling - is located directly under the breakfast room. It goes without saying that it is commendable and also acceptable that vacuuming is done every day, but I wonder whether this can be discussed and planned differently. Breakfast was until 10 a.m. - maybe you can do other activities first and vacuum from 10 a.m.? Due to the room layout of the house, one inevitably gets the impression that vacuuming is carried out right next to the dining table. The breakfast was okay, you shouldn't expect luxury in this price and hotel category. There was enough choice, it was always refilled and you were full - at home I don't have 5 types of bread in stock, which I serve every day. However, a little more choice of fruit would have been nice (there were apples every day, but nothing more). Unfortunately, there is no hotel parking lot - you should

|1.41km from city centerIt was like a fairy-tale. From the very beginning and to the very end. The stuff was super-friendly. Alexander at the reception was patient and attentive to every single query. Rooms were designed is style of 19th century and the hotel itself with antique furniture, gold candelabras created unique atmosphere. The rooms were really clean, we got cleaning every day. During the cleaning, we got fresh towels, body lotions, shampoos. In addition, we had a tea pot in the room and the supplies of tea was renewed every day. Another great point to choose this place is food. We were getting breakfast, lunch and dinner and all of them were fenominal: selection of salads, snacks, drinks and mains that would suit to everyone ( vegan, meat and fish-lovers). The food was always fresh and served hot. Finally, treatments were absolute joy. Medical stuff was professional and polite: doctors, nurses and other professionals. They were delivering the best service and made feel really comfortable. I was getting hydro- massage, wax therapy, electric treatments and warm mud experiences. Also the mineral water resources were really close to hotel that made the process of water treatment really easy to follow. It's just another occasion to thank amazing stuff of Hotel Central that made us to experience the most relaxing holiday.

|0.87km from city centerMy experience at this hotel was bad. To start with: 1. Hotel credit card machine was not working. So everything had to be paid with cash. Who would expect to be walking around with 15,000 - 20,000 kronor in cash?? Going to city center and getting the cash cost us an extra $85 in transaction fees and poor conversion rates. 2. Being a small town and boutique hotel, very few people speak English. We made an appointment and went to the spa at the time. It was our first experience in a ”salt cave”. Nobody to tell us what to do. We lost about 10 minutes in this experience, but had to pay full price. Same thing with the mineral bath. Lost few minutes because there was nobody to guide us, but had to pay full price. Finally at check out time, we were told that their credit card system is not working for a month!!!. If that was the case, the hotel should have informed the guests in ADVANCE so that we would have made alternate arrangements. As for the hotel itself, it is a very nice property and enjoyable if the hotel can do a better job.

In the spring of 2021 the borders were still closed. On request to transfer our booking to a convenient time for us - MAY or summer 2022 - Hotel Petr also refused! Only until the end of 2021. But it is impossible! I booked on May, and in the fall and winter I can't go to rest! All airlines and all booked hotels have returned us the money. The hotel in Prague has transferred our booking until December 2022. Only the Petr Hotel does not want to go to the meeting and not only does not return the money, but also refuses to transfer the booking to the convenient dates for us! Booking.com also refuses to help its permanent users. Bad and shameful, Petr Hotel!!!

|0.43km from city centerThe hotel is excellent in terms of price-quality ratio. We were on holiday with a family of 4 adults and 2 children. The room was executive - studio No. 14. Immediately upon entering the hotel you are greeted by a very pleasant aroma. We were greeted by a Russian-speaking girl and shown to the room. And everything was thought out. In the kitchen there are all the utensils for cooking, a toaster, a coffee maker, a kettle, a microwave oven, a hob, a washing machine (powder) Coffee, tea, sugar sticks. (thank you, very nice). There are 3 smart TVs in the room, you can easily connect phone or turn on YouTube. The bathroom is clean, without fungus, snow - white towels, cotton swabs and cosmetic discs. As a child there was enough space for everyone. The bed linen is also snow-white and clean. There are a lot of books in Russian, in general it’s as cozy as home. I can talk about the noise I won’t say anything, since on weekdays we lived on the 5th floor. By the way, there was no sink in the room, the staff solved the problem in a matter of minutes. As a bonus, there are 2 rooms with a photo of the area on the 0th floor. Overall, our family was satisfied and recommends the hotel ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

|1.28km from city centerWe stayed at EA Atlantic Palace Hotel Karlovy Vary for 19 nights in April 2022. We booked a package with breakfast and lunch included as well as SPA treatment on hotel premises. The hotel SPA is located on the second hotel floor, just steps away from our room upstairs what is very convenient. The hotel is distinctive for perfect location few minutes on feet to all water springs in the heart of the city, just on the banks of Tepla river. We have been provided us with a deluxe spacy room with a balcony. The hotel itself and hotel spa facilities were recently renovated. Our room had an excellent designers furniture and built in spacy cabinets with lights inside, what makes the atmosphere cozy feeling you at home. We have also to mention dedicated hotel staff in reception, attentiveness of hotel SPA staff and especially Alisa, the manager. We must also to mention the tasty food in hotel restaurant and especially Oleg who is a restaurant chef. The hotel is definitely worth the money we paid. We are looking forward to coming back next year and wish the hotel prosperity and success. Alex and Nataliya

|1.42km from city centerOriginally, I was full of expectations for the five-star Pop. After I found out, a hotel was actually divided into two pieces. Through Ctrip, I entered a small door. The front desk was a little big. The breakfast room was very cold and run down. No one came to serve coffee. On the other side of the front door into the front desk tall, the breakfast room is estimated to have three or five large, coffee special service. The room on the side of Ctrip has no five-star standard, and the more dilapidated side is the Asian and Chinese tourism team... After seeing the difference, it directly affects the mood of traveling in the hot spring town. This trip is the most heart-felt hotel. The parking fee is more than RMB 100 for 24 hours.

|0.33km from city centerThe cheapest hotel I booked in Prague, but the one I am most satisfied with. Although there is no front desk, the young lady inside helped us store our luggage, and then moved to our room. The luggage was so heavy that it was difficult for the young lady. The rooms are very large, furnished very warmly, clean and tidy, with a kitchen and a dishwasher. The map also helps us to mark it carefully, which is really awesome. The hotel is near the station, so you can drop your luggage and feel the town. It is said that in terms of brands, the small town is the place where the Czech Republic has the most stock. There are two restaurants nearby. The food is very delicious. It is the best place for us to eat in the Czech Republic. The steak is juicy and tender, and cheap. The average price is 60-70 RMB~

|1.27km from city centerThe hotel is located happily, just in the middle of the central promenade. The check-in is quick. The staff is OK. The house is old but quite renovated with soft carpets in the corridors that remove noise outside the room. There is a small lift to bring the suitcases up. Despite crowds outside the noise is not at all heard in the room due to the double layers windows protection. No bath, only shower. In the bathroom a few towel hooks and a shelf would come in handy. Found missing. We did not switch on TV in the room. The beds are too soft, the linen is too noisy when you turn in the bed, waking up the neighborough. The blankets are too hot for the summer time. All these resulted in our inability to sleep at nite. The breakfast was merely bad, with a very little choice. You get stale within 2 days. It was the worst breakfast we remember: untasty sausage, dab coffee from a machine. We were always running out of bread, butter, etc. and none among the service men there to help us herewith. We would choose the hotel again with a better bed quality and much improved breakfast. If not, we do not recommend La Bohemia, in spite of a very fortunate location of the romatic hotel.

|0.39km from city centerIch habe ein Einzelzimmer gebucht.
