The MO provides an excellent service in both hospitality and culinary services. As a guest with celaic disease I have been taken care of in a way that I‘ve never experienced before. My dietary restrictions regarding gluten and dairy caused no issues at all and the staff was very well informed. A special thank you to Gül who enabeled me to have gluten free pancakes for breakfast. The room was also spectacular - brand new and very clean. I will definitely come back soon!

The room is good, the restaurant next to it is OK. Don’t sit in a taxi in Turkey and sit once and be slaughtered once. It is convenient to take the bus there. The only thing that is not so good is that the hotel does not take water every day. Need your request. Also, this is very noisy.... At 11 o'clock, the Turks are still on the road, and there are many, many.
We decided to stay at The Stay in Bosphorus for 2 days prior to us heading to Capadocia. I can't thank them enough for getting us a room when we first got there. Our flight came in at 5am so we got to the hotel after a 11 hour flight from Miami and were exhausted. They ended up putting us in a room that was not in the main building but right next to it across the street in a smaller area. So if you are coming from the USA this is not a western hotel but more of a European hotel. If you haven't travel much there is a difference and your expectation need to be aligned. It was on the second floor, FYI no elevators which is common but this didn;t bother us. The room was very nice but very small. again, European style hotel. The decor was very nice, Fantastic Beds and Pillows. Slept like a baby all morning trying to recouped from our travels. After our nap we wanted to take a look around. Again, This location is amazing. The Mosque is with in 100 ft away, not that this is my thing but it does give a nice environment to the experience. The water is less then 50 ft away with piles and piles of shops to do either shopping, snacking, drinking and eating. After walking around we took another cat nap and woke up around 4 and felt we needed to do something. I ask the hotel for his suggestion and he suggested doing a Private sunset boat cruise. This was an hour and a half cruise that took you thru out the local area. The price was extremely fair, actually very inexpensive to USA standards. They set up a water taxi, had a staff member grab us a couple of beers, and off we went. When I say was way above our expectation it was AMAZING!!!! We had a 50 ft yacht all to ourselves. It was just what the doctor ordered after a long trip. They also set up a wonderful restaurant for us to eat at after our Cruise. They went over and beyond expectation. Now, I will give a heads up, this hotel is in a wonderful location but the downside of this is your next to all the clubs. If hearing music late at night is going to bother you, this might not be the place for you. I wouldn't go to the extent of saying its LOUD but you can hear the base. This doesn't bother my wife or myself so this wasn't an issue but you will hear it if you stay at this location. Its unavoidable. Last praise for The Stay was the last night they were able to get us wonderful seats at this sushi restaurant on the Third floor next door. If your going here you have to eat here. Views were amazing and the food was Fantastic. Mufasa took wonderful care of us and it was a fantastic last night dinner in Bosphorus. Thank you to all the staff at THE STAY. We had a wonderful time so Thank you. Rick
Hotels Near Tapasuma Restaurant In Istanbul Review
Anka Grand Hotel The location is superb, and going out to the right is less than 50 meters is the light rail station. There are also a small supermarket next to the hotel and a lot of convenience stores. We have a room in a certain time, with a credit card guarantee, it is super convenient to pay at the store. Because it is in a bustling area, the price will be relatively higher. The interior of the hotel is a bit old and the facilities are old, but they are very clean and tidy. The hotel waiter helped us to take the baggage upstairs, although our Turkey thought that there was no tip, but we still gave 10 liras.
I came here with my girlfriend in September and everything was good. The rooms & bathrooms were clean, the terrace was large and the breakfast was tasty and more than enough. They let us stay at the terrace 24/7 where we had free tea, caffe and juice. The hotel is situated near the major attractions (about 10 minutes walking until Hagia Sofia for instance) and it’s very quiet at night on the hotel’s street. I definitely recommend this place!
The hotel is very convenient for transportation, close to the airport, not far from the subway station, and convenient shopping around, free minibus to the airport every half an hour, very attentive service, first choice for business trips
Hotel Niles is by far one of the cleanest hotels I’ve had the pleasure of staying in. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel has a very warm and cozy feeling throughout. The decor was beautiful and breakfast at the terrace was just an amazing start to the day. Beautiful views and just a few minutes walk from the grand bazaar. We walked everywhere as everything was close by.
A huge thank you to all the staff especially Mr Halil and the lovely gentlemen at reception who checked us out and helped us with our airport transfer issues. He went above and beyond and we are very grateful.
Will definitely be visiting again.
We spent 4 nights in this hotel, which has an absolutely perfect location just 300m from Hagia Sophia. We booked a room with panoramic view and requested an upgrade to a room with balcony, which we kindly got. We had a direct view to Hagia Sophia, which was breathtaking and epic! Our room was unfortunately very small, shabby, and stinky. Especially the bathroom was in bad condition and was tiny. Also, more annoyingly, there was noise from the restaurant above and from other rooms and corridors all evening until late night every single day. On the last night, it was so unbearable, that we had to change rooms, which was slightly more quiet, but we still couldn't sleep until late. Then, every single morning from 5:30, there was noise from the restaurant (dragging table, etc.). Also, the staff in the Restaurant was absolutely incapable to prepare breakfast in time or to offer us tea or coffee. They didn't even care about the guests at all. These made our experience somewhat negative. Even though we had an amazing view and experienced great service skills, friendliness, and attention from the Reception staff, the negatives (especially the noise) cancelled it all out. Altogether, we got value for money, but we would not stay again due the thin walls and constant noise throughout the entire hotel, which makes quality sleep impossible. However, if you can sleep easily and noise is not a factor, I would recommend this room category due its probably best view to Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque.
I stayed at the Hotel Hippodrome along with my family_ my wife and two kids. We arrived at the hotel at early morning. We requested the manager for early check in, if possible. The manager Mr. Caner was much generous to allow us at about 11 AM, it was 1 PM though. They provided us a two connected room surprisingly because we booked for two large bed room. The breakfast was amaging at terrace having awesome view of Bosphorus and Blue Mosque. Location is just too good. Sultan Ahmed station, blue mosque, hagia sofia and topkhapi just a minuts walk away. There was a taxi stand in front of the hotel. Numbers of restaurants and Arasta Bazar just adjacent to hippodrome. Finally we are much greatful to Mr. Bilben the most humble and helpful hand during our stay at hotel. Much recomended hotel definitely.
Super location, centrally located, bus station and ferry (only 6 minutes to Üsküdar on the Asian side) is not 10 minutes walking distance. The partly steep road from the bus station back to the hotel, was, after a tip of very friendly staff, no problem anymore. The next bus stop on line 30M is only about 100 steps further above (It is very important after a long hard day). Our wish for sea view (Straight) and smoking rooms could be met. When open windows were open and somewhat noisy but closed, they were beautifully close and quiet. Change dressing room with safe, kitchen area with vacuum ... sticks, plates, ... even water cookers. Shower area with fence and enough light and several mirrors. Good hot water pressure. Except for toilet brushes all new.. Dental brushes Rasing tools shampoo, shower gel. Parbet very comfortable and quiet.. thick mattress, thick deck big, in all directions rotating flat screen. The free Wi-Fi, which did not work properly on the first day in the room at the 5th floor, was solved directly next day. Good fast reception. We have a home in Istanbul now. Housez Suites & Apartments
I stayed white corner hotel which is great, comfortable and modern disagn. This is new hotel and also staffs are so helpful. They always shows what you need. Hotel is also located in center of the city. You can find everything.
Be Careful. Do not enter the place in front of this hotel. Sultan Terrace. It was the worst experience with the staff of this place. I went up to the terrace with my parents. We were very excited by the view from the terrace. We sat down at the table. The waiter offered us a seafood platter for 30 Turkish liras. This platter was not priced on the menu. that's why they insisted on him. Of course I couldn't resist the temptation and ordered. everything was fine and dandy until they brought the bill for payment. 30 Turkish Liras turned into 3000 . It was a shock. A huge scandal started. The waiters insisted that they told me that it cost 3000 and not 30. That such a plate cannot cost so cheap. Although the fish was fried with a lot of oil and dry. The waiter was ready to hit me. I called the police, they called lawyers. I negotiated up to 2000 Turkish liras. I left with a bitter taste. Disappointed and robbed. They are thieves and crooks. Avoid this Local Sultan Teras Fish Kebab Steks House
We stayed in this hotel at the beginning of April 2021. That was a family trip and we stayed there for a couple of days. What we really loved was the location of the hotel and the staff. The staff was very nice, responsible, and always ready to help. When it comes to the hotel itself and the breakfast they provide, it is not bad but could be better :) but still, I think it is a good value for that money. For staying there for a couple of days I'd highly recommend this hotel.
Staying again, the experience is very good, it is worth recommending ~ Breakfast styles are diverse to meet the needs of different tastes. It's a subway station when you go out, and the transportation is convenient. A 2-3 minute walk from the hotel to the supermarket, which is quite a big European chain brand in the local area. Location, transportation, and service are very satisfactory
The hotel at the central of old city and only few minutes away from all historical attractions so amazing to see especially topkapi palace to get know ottomans so i highly recommend to stay and enjoy...
Hotel was booked via booking.com and payment method was selected as card. On arriving we were asked to pay in cash. On the question why it is so as we counted on card payment, receptionist told „we are not cooperating with booking”. We afraid that we will be charged twice so we changed payment method to another empty card and agreed to pay in cash. We counted that they will give us invoice so we can complain booking about this as the hotel is not following booking policy. So, once we payed cash they reject to provide any invoice so we suspect this guys avoiding taxes and putting money in the pocket cheating on tax office. When we checked in we spot they provided a room with 2 beds instead of 3 and it was smaller then the one we booked. They promised they will change it next morning but that was a lie. The next morning the guy told that all rooms „are the same” we asked him to prove that showing us other rooms and he told „no free rooms”. When needed receptionist pretends he does not speak english. I was asked to call the owner of the hotel (on my own btw) and talk about this. He responded once and promised everything will be ok. He lied as well and next time he did not pick up the phone. So, be aware this hotel consists of filthy liars. Cheating with payments and room conditions included.
I picked this hotel as it had great links to the heart of Istanbul and it did not disappoint! Just 5 minutes walk away from a main metro station as well as great bus links (if you feel adventurous!) I stayed with my young family and the hotel provided interconnecting rooms of a double and twin room. I would recommend to all!
Definetely, recommended! Amazing hotel situated right next to tram station at Sultanahmet. Big rooms, with beautiful interior and the best Turkish breakfast. Hotel offers coffee, tea and sweets every day for their guests for free. It has beautifull rooftop terrace with view of Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque.
I had the best time, the staff are amazingly friendly and I made a lot of new friends, if I ever come back, it will for sure be at this hotel!! Location is also really nice with everything you need around. Highly recommend it!!
Istanbul was the first time, but now I know exactly, we will be more. The magic city has left the most enjoyable experiences since the first day. The hotel, which managed to book, a day before departure to Turkey, met us with a very smiley and cheerful staff. The room has everything we need, including a refrigerator, a toilet table with a mirror we didn't need, as our goal was to plunge into the atmosphere of the city and look inside, rather than look at yourself in the mirror). For the same reason, We didn't care the view from the window: walked early, returned late, into the already cleaned and refilled room. Cleaning the room, was done every day. The bathroom was clean, and always hot shower, no surprises, plum worked as home, everything was great, no discomfort. The hotel is located in an exceptionally convenient place, on foot to all the main attractions of the Fatih area: temples and mosques, and in one direction you will go to the Grand Bazaar, On the other hand - to the Egyptian bazar. Just down - harbor, from where on ferry you can swim to different places of this wonderful city. Just near the square of Sultanahmet, where we even took place at the concert, on the occasion of the day of the Republic. Everyone is next. And tram stops and bridges - choose which way you want to move to another district of Taksim. It's fast and convenient. On the street where our hotel is located, there is probably a building of hotels too. But we didn't hear no noise at night. On the contrary, everything is quiet, neither cars nor a gula of voices. I hope this quiet street, when turned into a fully filled hotel or shop, will remain the same calm, and the hotel is the same available:-). Very cheerful staff! Thank you very much : Jeanne, Denise (some thank you for having seen Suleimanian and Acquedik!) and another young man who meets everyone for breakfast, in our morning departure. Breakfast is charging delicious energy for a long walk. Drinking tea or coffee can be enjoyed by a wake-up city from the balcony of the dining room. View to the opposite shore and the Galatian Tower. Everything liked, sad that there was little time to see everything that was planned ... but the main thing, I want to go back to this city, and that means still ahead!!!)
pretty, clean and too have restaurants, but no cold time to get rm605,,,o5 number,,,because my room is very hot no must air ,,, outside is very cold but the room look like cooking, make me so wake up so much time to get cold water shaver, window is inter window,,just equal to no window, and hotel use central air ,, condition, cold time never open, if have just hot air, I suggest the hotel need set a independent small condition for this no window room it is better,,,我用中文說一次，酒店美， 裝修也美， 天台可看到海，但冷天就不好住，特別無窗的605，或什麼5號房，因內空氣不流通，是內窗，內窗根本放樣用，無新鮮空氣，他用中央冷氣系統，冷天不開，就算開都熱氣，如你開就是熟食再熱火，外面好冷我內就是熱到睡不到，要冲冷水涼，這樣房應該加獨立細冷氣機，
Is ok to stay not too clean , but good location . Next to mini supermarket. Not too bad but there are next to the backing shop. He is very nice guys I very like this shop . Only 2 min walk from the hotel .
The staff at the reception didnt speak english very well but we could always understand each other. Everyone was super nice and the hotel is very fancy. The location is perfect. Every direction you go you can discover something new. Right next to the hotel there is a street full of restaurants. We had an economy room it wasnt very big but we didnt need anything much bigger. (economy room) It was clean and everything worked. Just what we needed. Sometimes it got loud at night but it wasnt that bad. (the windows arent that sound proof) I would definitely come here again. Can only recommend it!!
Very good, the owner is a very intimate grandfather, I heard that we will drive to Antalya, write down the scenic spots along the way, and also help us call a taxi to rent a car, and also sent me Small gifts, these little goodwill are the reason why I love Turkey very much.
The hotel has a great location, 5 minutes from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Grand Bazaar and Kapali Carsi. There are a lot of restaurants and shops around. The people working there are kind and nice, the woman who works in the kitchen and prepares breakfast is very nice and speaks three foreign languages. Breakfast is wonderful and varied, there is something for everyone. The only downside were the cleaners, which did not do their job, they did not wipe the dust and did not vacuum for our 8 days stay. They also digged in our fridge every day and touched our food. It was also weird that they put new slippers every day. Do not reserve transportation from the airport, our transportation was arranged but the driver was not there to pick us up from the airport. We searched for him for half an hour and then took a taxi to get to the hotel. I don't think this is the fault of the hotel, they just arranged transport with a bad carrier. There are constructions next to the hotel, from 8am to 5pm. It is impossible to sleep in the morning. There is also a mosque right next to the hotel, they have a loud call to prayer. If you have a problem with this maybe you should stay somewhere around Taksim.
We got the smallest room in the roof top of the building which has a view of the blue mosque from the window. The room ant bathroom were very small but cozy. We got this room as it was the last one in the hotel the rest of the rooms look much bigger, but we got a very fair price deal. It didn't have a lift so we needed to go upstairs 4 floors every time, but they helped us carrying our luggage to the top room, so no complains. At the reception they gave us a very good advice of where to go and we realized the hotel was in a very convenient location, nearby mini markets and restaurants. The hotel is located 10 minutes walking from the blue mosque and 5 minutes walking to the nearest metro station.
The hotel is very good but don't trust the photos of the site ... All is clean and well-designed, but the decor is not as luxurious and careful. The reception hall is pleasant, but the rest of the common areas is not so careful, including the restaurant (which serves breakfast) which is not francly welcome. The rooms are very comfortable and modern, quite quiet, the small bathrooms are well, the staff is helpful, we have been welcomed. The location is the very good place to me, in the centre of Fatih, everything is near and can be walked (Grand Bazar, mosques, spice market, etc.). The breakfast was presented as all made bases (Covid measures), satisfactory but not exceptional. The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and the hotel is very comfortable and comfortable.
There are several hotels in the Sultanahmet area of Istanbul where Poem is located. While it doesn't have a roof top terrace like some of the others, this probably contributes to the fact that, even while surrounded by tourists, it is exceptionally quiet, as only hotel guests come in an out. Furthermore, it is located on a little side-street, so that despite having a room on the first floor, we never had issues with noise. All the major attractions are less than 10 min away by foot. Restaurants in the area are plentiful but expensive and you can easily pay 1/2 if you venture a bit farther into the city. The restaurant in the hotel Tria across the street, has a nice roof terrace and is quite good. The rooms are small but clean and modern. Electricity is turned on by inserting your room key into a slot at the entrance of the room, so that during hot August days with temperatures in the 90s, we had to wait 5-10 min to get the temperature down. But the shower is amazing and we simply took a quick shower while the A/C kicked in. Breakfast is free and unconventional with at least a dozen little plates with sweet and savory spreads and cheeses as well as freshly baked pastries that change day to day. Cappuccinos, and espressos are available. But what really distinguishes Poem is the friendly staff that guided us through the city and was always courteous. On our departure day, it was raining cats and dogs and the taxi that was supposed to take us to the airport was 30 minutes late. The gentleman at the reception jumped into his own car and drove us the 60 minutes to the airport himself !!! I will never forget this level of engagement. I would certainly recommend this hotel and would be happy to come back.
The location is great. It's near the Blue Mosque. Istanbul New Airport is just a short walk from the airport bus to the end station. We are a triple room, obviously the room is a bit small, but the price is very good. Sanitation is also good. The breakfast is on the top floor and the food is quite generous. Luggage can be stored for free.
Very good, the rooms are large, clean, and the service downstairs is welcoming. Dinner will be more expensive than other hotels. The location is good, there is a small supermarket across the street, good quality and low price, you can buy things very late.
