We stayed here as a family for 9 nights at the end of May. The villa we stayed in was absolutely beautiful!! The villa was bigger than expected, as was the pool, and both were cleaned daily. The location was perfect for a quiet stay with the restaurants being literally a 5 minute walk away. I would, however, recommend hiring a car as the location is quiet, and Zante is a beautiful island with plenty to explore! Lia (the owner) was incredibly helpful and friendly, she organised our car hire and return airport transfer. She also permitted us a late check-out, so we could have a nice relaxing morning and shower prior to our return flight. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed the stay, and we will be recommending Alegria Villas to friends and family!!! Perfect :) Thanks!!!!!!

A really lovely hotel in a fantastic position and approximately 20 minute drive from the airport. On first arrival you notice how wonderful the hotel surroundings and pool area are. We stayed in one of the recently refurbished rooms that was finished to a high standard. It wasn't only the room that was of a high standard, but the rest of the hotel was of an equally good standard. Hillary and her team do an absolutely amazing job of making sure sure you have a relaxing holiday. The hotel was positioned between a few brilliant beaches, some of the best I have been to in Greece, and there were a number of restaurants nearby, all of a good standard. All in all a fantastic hotel and I would definitely recommend a visit to St Nicholas and staying at the Vasilikos Beach Hotel.

We had researched this hotel on TripAdvisor before booking and we were not disappointed! The room was spacious and clean, with a fantastic view from the balcony. The mosquito screens were useful and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with a big variety of delicious local food. Variety was introduced to the breakfast each day which added interest too.For example, different types of fruit and even home made cakes. All areas of the hotel were clean and well presented. The pool was lovely, never crowded despite the hotel being full. Comfortable sun loungers always available. We particularly liked the visiting swallows who could be seen near the pool every day. The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and polite, including the bar staff, breakfast staff, cleaners and gardener. Management very very helpful, arranging taxis, trips and even printing out boarding passes for us. Although most guests hired a car, we decided that we wanted full relaxation so avoided this. Instead, we used the hotel shuttle service to get to the lovely local beach. (You can ask for a lift there at 10am or 1pm and the extremely friendly and reliable driver collects you back at 5.) To explore the island, we used organised trips, available at reception. These actually worked out cheaper than hiring a car and then catching boats independently.(Ours were 30 euros each) There is a good restaurant on site and a shop nearby. Also a nice Taverna called The Windmill 5 minutes away. Eco wise, we would be happy to manage without plastic straws in drinks. We can't wait to return to this beautiful hotel!

We visited this hotel recently and very impressed by everything staff always willing to assist and always a smile on their faces from the start till late evening, rooms very comfortable and many accessories from reception free of charge eg kettle, iron and ironing board. We where allocated a street view which was ok but we were informed that the pool view room had a shower instead of a bath so we requested a move and at a cost of five euros per night which was very reasonable. Food in the restaurant was very good and the Wednesday and Greek nights where excellent as they took place around the pool bar instead of the restaurant. The only gripe we had was being charged for a cushion for sun loungers. But all in all the hotel was excellent and couldn’t fault in any way and to start the day enjoying the breakfast in the restaurant with the lovely Anna who made us feel special and a part of the family. The staff in all made our stay special and many thanks to Anna.

What an amazing villa complex this is even though it’s set in the heart of tsilivi with what is a couple of busy roads it’s a very tranquil place to be. Angela and her team are brilliant very attentive and can’t do enough for you. The cleaners come round twice a day 1st to drop the pool towels off and clean the pool/outside areas then later in the day to change towels and clean the whole villa. The pool is checked and cleaned every day and the gardens taken care of. On arrival we were shown around the villa by Angela she explained were everything was the welcome basket is great fresh fruit milk and cereals and bread plus 6 cans of sprite 6 cans of Amstel and 6 cans of coke chilled in the fridge just perfect The sea is 100meters away there’s 2 supermarkets just across the road one next to the half way house restaurant never ate here so can’t comment. The summertime bar is brilliant and unlike some comments I’ve seen doesn’t play music to the early hours most nights it was turned off at midnight and a great little chill out bar We were a family of 5 and can’t wait to come back to these villas everything about the villas and staff are perfect the only little niggle would be could do with a bigger safe and put a safe in every bedroom but all the doors and windows are good quality and actually lock properly and the entire complex is gated and has a very good CCTV system. Angela and her team should be very proud because the service they offer is excellent can’t wait to come back The Willis family

It’s very close to the small town of Zakynthos, but with Shipwreck Bay in the northernmost part of the island and in the southernmost part. There is a swimming pool. Basically, all foreigners stay in. The breakfast is also very good. They are eaten by foreigners, but the Chinese stomach can barely eat it.

A wonderful find. Booked on Airbnb, and from the start the communication with the excellent host, Nikos, was superb. The villa itself was smart, clean and tidy with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was about a 15 minute walk to the beach in one direction and about 20 minutes to the port in the other. It was good to be a little more remote and away from the main "resorts". We hired a car for a few days to get a feel of the island, and that just made us appreciate the spot we had with our villa even more. A friendly "supermarket" was just a couple of hundred yards down the road, and a an excellent messe restaurant just a little further. The sea is crystal clear and warm. I can't believe I hadn't been to Greece before - the country, the people, the food - simply wonderful. Thank you Nikos. I look forward to coming back again soon.

The appearance of the hotel is good, the service attitude is poor, give me a room that is too small for my suitcase to be flat. I went to the front desk and asked for a room change. I also gave me a room with eight air-conditioning hosts outside the balcony. The noise is very big, I gave it to Ctrip, indicating that I will change the room for me. I went to the front desk to borrow needles, or the woman said no, and another woman gave me a box of needles. The old woman at the front desk had a bad attitude. It is recommended to prepare a careful consideration for this hotel. The bed in the room is placed against the wall, which is inconvenient. The bedside table is a magazine-sized wooden board nailed to the wall. This is the worst value for money hotel during the 20-day trip. More than 900 can have other Better choice

Chose this accommodation after all the reviews of the place and it does not disappoint. We went with love holidays and it was very simple to book and everything went well. The airport was very quick in Zante, we had self-booked a hire car but because we didn't have a credit card they wouldn't give it to us - so cancelled that and paid a Taxi only 28 Euros to take us to Limni. The apartments are very basic, we didn't have pans or a tea-towel etc but just ask Georgios and it was no problem. Our towels were changed daily and the bedding a couple of times. The apartment could do with some TLC and the balconies didn't offer the privacy I would prefer but we got on well with the neighbours so was ok in the end. The only thing we didn't really like was the mattress, this was too hard for us, although other guests said they preferred that. The AirCon is free fantastic and will only work when the patio doors are closed. The beach is lovely, some areas sandy others had some rocks and if you follow the cove around you can find some private areas off the rocks which were great for snorkelling. Take care to wear sandals as we saw a number of sea urchins around the submerged rocks. We hired a boat and went to turtle island and up the coast; this was great cost 80 Euros for 4 hours and we booked through Georgios (his cousin). The Try Dive Scuba cost 50 Euros and was amazing, is available most afternoons for a 35 minute dive (that is enough if you have never tried it before) and takes most of the afternoon with boat travel etc added on). We would defiantly love to return to this resort in the future but would probably look for alternate accommodation with softer beds.

The hotel on itself is marked as a 5-star resort that it's not. I would define it more likely as 3 stars and that's more than good marking. On the arriving, there was not a great welcome from the receptionist. I know it's COVID time but to be nicer with a smile would be better on a welcome. We were there staying for 5 nights. The pros of this hotels are free parking alongside the hotel, beach in front of the hotel, location. The cons of this hotel as many reviews before are food, cleanliness, "all-inclusive". On the arrival, we were told that the rooms are not cleaned every day due to COVID but every third day of your stay. This hasn't happened. We have stayed during COVID time in other hotels in Greece where we can have the room to be cleaned every day. This doesn't apply to this hotel. Next, the food in the restaurant was below the quality of the school kitchen. The drinks are included in all-inclusive package but not coffee. If you want coffee which is drinkable you have to pay 3,5€! Otherwise, you can drink coffee from a coffee machine which is horrible. If you want sunbed and umbrella on the beach it's again for money (i think it was 7€ per person). I am traveling a lot but asking money for a sunbed in 5 stars hotel has never happened to me. You can put your stuff on the sunbed near the pool (which are for free) which is constantly full so no chance. The alcoholic drinks or cocktails in the all-inclusive package are the local ones. If you'd like to have original drinks you to pay again extra. I would say as a 5 stars resort the service should be really improved but I think there is so much to be improved it's actually not possible. We have paid for the stay 180€ per night per room what is I think enough money. And what we've got was literally 3-star service with the very limited all-inclusive package. If you'd like to stay somewhere in Zakynthos please avoid this place in case you want 5stars experience. This hotel doesn't give this experience and you will fill ripped off. Next time I'd like to go somwhere else.

There are not many varieties of breakfast, but at least there are fried eggs, boiled eggs, bread, coffee, cereals and juices, which can meet the basic needs of the Chinese people. I arrived at the hotel early in the morning, there was no room left, I could only wait for someone to check out, but the hotel said that I could go to the restaurant for breakfast, but it was more humane. The location of the hotel is in the mountains, so you must consider renting a car when you come to live, otherwise you will feel that it is difficult to move.

Greek self catering holidays are all about basic needs, ie a bed which is comfortable with clean sheets changed on a regular basis, a bin in the loo to be emptied daily, the floor to be washed over daily, towels changed along with the bedding and staff that don't necessarily have a good command of English but they try and smile alot. This added to a good sized studio with a sunny balcony, a view of the hills, peaceful yet just a short stroll through the Vanessa Hotel grounds to everything that you could possibly need, supermarket, tavernas, general shops, bakery, health care. You can also use the pool behind the studios and get something to eat there, appears to be part of the same complex but it's probably owned by a cousin or distant uncle. We couldn't fault these studios and so reasonably priced too.

Zante Calinica is an excellent choice if you want to have a great time in Zakynthos. The hotel is super clean and it offers an amazing breakfast with a variety of choices ranging from cold to warm food. The view from my room was stunning since the hotel is located on a hill. I could see the sea and also the pool which is good for both adults and kids. No worries if you don't know how to swim since the pool has both small and deep water. Next to the pool you also have a bar with amazing cocktails so if one day you don't feel like going to the beach, the hotel pool is a great way to relax. I liked that the hotel was not situated in a noisy area but it was still close to restaurants and bars, only 5-7 minutes walk. It is also very close to the beach. My favourite part was the staff. It is a family run business so they really care about their customers. I loved how everyone was smiling and they were friendly every morning when I went to breakfast. They were also very opened and liked to listen about other culture and they even tested some wine we brought from home. It felt like they were our friends. Dionisis gave us some great tips where to go on the island and how to travel smart. He was also very opened and entertaining and you could easily have a conversation with him. I will definitely go back to this hotel.

We have now been here five days, I read other reviews and have not been troubled by anything mentioned. The food is plentiful and there is always something to eat. The food is good and yes the drinks are weaker than the uk but it’s whats expected on holiday with people drinking from 10-11 imagine if they were full strength how drunk people would be??? The rooms are very nice but beware there is no lift. We moved from a first floor to a room with a private poolthat was made possible by Evie on reception who is totally fantastic, also want to mention the ladies who clean who are lovely and friendly and the ladies/ gentlemen in the dining area who are lovely. The lady who has been running the pool bar we have taken an instant liking too she is lovely and chatty. All in all the staff are great. Entertainment is every other night which may be due to us being here at the end of season( they shut at end of month). We visited the town of Zante which was a lovely evening and also did turtle spotting which I’m sad to say was horrendous, one poor turtle trying to escape 3/4 boats and people in the water. This needs to change. They shouldn’t be hounded for a photo op but be left and if you see them In their natural environment then great if not so be it. I have to say I would come back here in a heartbeat it’s been a fantastic holiday. Thank you Exotica x

A wonderful hotel with stunning sea views close to the town of Tsilivi. We stayed here for 4 nights in September 2020 and cannot recommend it enough. The rooms are spacious and modern, the hotel is spotless and the staff could not be more helpful. The pool area is perfect for relaxing in the sun, and there is even a private rocky beach at the bottom of the cliff for swimming in the crystal clear sea. The location is a little out of town, but this is not an issue if you don't mind walking (15 - 20 mins) or paying for a taxi (6 euros each way to Tsilivi). Don't miss visiting Shipwreck Beach while you are in Zante!

We had an amazing stay at Ionian Aura! The very friendly owner Yannis welcomed us warm and we felt at home right away. He gave us great advice for some excellent restaurants and things to do in the area. When we arrived we had the chance to upgrade our room, which we can reccomend. The newer rooms are beautiful, modern and spacious, amazing bed and amazing shower. It was kept clean spotless. It has a good balcony with stunning see view. We loved the buffet breakfast with fresh juice, fruit, home made bread, good coffee and more. They even got us lactose free milk as I am lactose intolerent, very sweet! Very nice pool area and a well maintained property. It has a ‘boutique’ feel. The staff will do anything to make sure you have a great and relaxing holdiay. Overall great experience with luxurious feel for a good price! Such a shame we only stayed here for 4 nights.. we wish we could stay a little longer. I stayed in this hotel with my 2 year old during the summer and I am still astounded by what brilliant service we received! The hotel was in a prime location and only a 4 minute drive to Tsilivi water park (great place for the younger ones). The hotel had two pools and I was grateful for the smaller one for my little one. There was always an array of inflatables pool side as well which was a lovely bonus. The food options in the half board options catered for all with a mixture of Greek and English foods and options for kids such as pizza and chips. Every single staff member was lovely and welcoming. It was such a great experience that it’s the first place I’ve wanted to return to instead of branching out somewhere new. It just felt like being at home with family and I couldn’t recommend it any more.

Although not the first hotel I wanted to stay in, Ctrip's customer service did their best, the room was speechless, and the double bed was made up of two beds. . . There is a charging socket on the bedside. The water is salty. Go to the supermarket and buy some spring water. The legendary city view is looking at the other wall of the hotel. The only good thing is that the breakfast is really good and my Greeks are quite satisfied. Recommend the traditional desserts in Tuli, super delicious! !! !! Greek yogurt is super delicious if you add some honey. If you check out early in the morning, you can tell the staff that you can take some breakfast to take away. Finally, for off-season travel, the price / performance ratio is still okay. . .

To ask Zakynthos for a friend who is looking for the descendants of the sun, this must be the best choice. Absolutely tailored for the Chinese. The main location of this Jingdezhen city is excellent. There is no elevator. But if you work hard, you will come up. They will also help. It may be a little noisy on the street. But this landscape and the rare experience of the balcony scenery, passers-by will look at your envy of the location is good ^o^. Not far from the turtle spot. We rent a car by ourselves. Convenient a lot. Because I often get used to driving overseas, it is not difficult to open. Pay attention to the suspension of the stop "stop" just fine. Prepare yourself for breakfast. The location of the lunch is not bad, too expensive~

This hotel looks incredible. The architecture is clean and contemporary, and the grounds have been tastefully landscaped to give the feeling that it blends into the hillside - the old olive trees are a particularly nice touch. The pool area is spacious and has a number of options for lounging - either directly by the pool at a 'swim up' room, in the shade under the awnings or out in full sun on the hammocks or sun beds. It never felt overrun and we were quite happy spending entire days there. Note that only one of the pools is heated. (The unheated pools were colder than the sea!) We stayed in a sea view room and it was well worth the extra for the beautiful view out to Kefalonia. We also preferred the privacy, slightly away from the pool area. The room is well appointed although we had the impression it was finished in a hurry - some of the fittings were a little worn already. The staff are friendly and welcoming - everyone greets you as you walk past and were only to happy to ferry you to the room in a buggy - and the food and drink was varied and of good quality. Our only complaint would be the prices - a drink in the bar costs three times the price of a drink in Tsilivi!

Breakfast can be, the location of the hotel is good, behind the bar street, the bar is downstairs, the window is closed at night, the sound insulation is better, there is not much impact.        There is a man at the front desk of the hotel. I am really not talking about it! It completely affected the hotel's good impression to the guests! The first day to stay at the hotel, recommend us a day trip, this recommendation I can fully understand, but we need to discuss it again, he is not happy in an instant, that expression and tone, bad reviews! ! In addition, we came back from the outside, two foreigners were staying, he greeted us, and then shrugged shoulders at the two foreigners! ! A few meanings ~ that kind of expression action seems like we are **? ! Personal English is also very heavy, and I feel very good!   The most atmospheric thing is that the day before said to give us a call to the plane, this thing we confirmed three sides! ! ! The last time was that we went back to the room at night and told him again at the front desk! ! He said OK! The next day we waited downstairs on time! I haven't got a car for a long time! Originally, he also said that it is just right to go to the airport at this time, but if the car is late, then we are likely to miss the opportunity! Time is limited. He did not hand over the next successor to the colleague. We asked, the female front desk did not know, and then called him to complain a lot! Then tell us that the car is on the way, but I haven't come for a long time! It is not good to play in that place. It takes time, I also stopped the car, it is very troublesome! ! He not only caused trouble to his colleagues! Also caused us trouble! Finally, another hotel staff member gave us a temporary taxi. The drivers are all close to each other, but there is no delay. Every country has a person who has lost face to the people! I hope everyone can maintain a modest attitude and respect each other!

I will not restate all the details left by other reviewers they have done a great job, as an adult only location this is lovely, both the premises and convenient location and the staff are outstanding , genuinely friendly especially as we holidayed in Late September 2019 toward the end of what had been a very busy and tiring season for them i personally thanked the Manager for their efforts. Some have commented the wi-fi was not good , i can only say we were in room 141 in the Garden suites away from the Hotel and it was fine, a series of repeaters are installed in the fence line and i was getting 4 bars on phone , Tablet and Laptop , and streamed You Tube with no problem. Around the pool, care is needed as there are other routers and your device can get confused so depending where you are located select the strongest signal and tell your device to forget the others. PS i am not an IT geek just your average silver surfer hope this helps you if you stay anytime. My only negative that reduced this from a 5* to a 4* was that the web images are outdated, the Hotel is no longer remote and has a LARGE utilitarian complex the " Caretta " built next door , i have included a google earth image that i have annotated the caretta now has an L shaped main blocks and two/Three further blocks since the google earth image was shot . This means in our Garden ground floor apartment , like it or not we got the dominant sounds of the Caretta Entertainment till after Midnight, Closing windows made negligible difference, maybe its quieter in other parts of the Sirocco but in our location you could kiss goodbye to an early night but you are on holiday so you live with it. Would i go again? , YES but i might consider carefully my rooms location and i hope that up to date aerial images will be published to show that the Sirocco is no longer the quiet location totally surrounded by fields it once was , as it is not.

For the first time, I have stayed at the hotel for three meals. Yes, there is food in the morning and evening. We arrived at 9 o'clock in the evening and left a sandwich for dinner. Besides the afternoon meal, we will have afternoon tea, next to the hotel. It is the beach. You can also take a day or a half-day tour of the Turtle Island. The hotel room is generally not very beautiful, clean and hygienic. Anyway, the price is here.

Myself and my partner have just come away from this idilic little place, and I just have to post a review. This Very pretty Hotel has everything that you could wish for. The staff here are incredibly warm and friendly, and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. The Hotel itself is amaculately clean, and the sourounding gardens beautifully maintained. I would say that the love that the owners of this establishment put into they're Hotel, really does project in' not only the Hotel itself, but they're welcoming manor towards all that enter. The apartment itself was basic, but more than adequate for our needs. It was cleaned daily, and towels changed on alternate days. The little finishing touches such as the two bottles of water apone arrivel were an absolutely lovely gesture, and very much appreciated after a long and tiring flight. The pool area is very pretty, and there are ample sun beds for everybody, with comfortable cushions to lay on. Breakfast was served from 8-10, and was delicious. There was plenty of choice, catering for most tastes, including locally produced jams, honey and so forth. The only slight let down was the coffee, but to be fair, I'm a bit of a coffee snob! You can purchase food at the pool bar, which is very nice, but rather expensive. We found that there were slightly cheaper places to eat in kalamaki town, which is a 20 min walk or 5-10 mins in the car. Over all this is a really lovely Hotel, and I would recommend to anybody wanting a peaceful retreat away from the hussle and bustle of life. What I would suggest though,is that hiring a vehicle is an absolute must, due to the locality of this Hotel.

Just returned from a 4 night stay All Inclusive with my family. Children aged 9 and 6 years old. It was the kids first sun holiday we normally go skiing. I booked this holiday a week before traveling and after reading some of the reviews I really had my fingers crossed it was what it said on the tin, as they say! I can confidently say we had a brilliant time. All the staff were helpful and smiley. Even the maids that didn’t speak English that I met gave you a smile. All the hotel areas were clean and tidy. Our room was cleaned daily. The kids loved playing in the pools. Us parents enjoyed sitting at the swim up bar having a drink watching the kids ha ha. The food was good but could have had a little more variety if I had to pick a fault. But to be honest we all ate like kings and queens and never felt hungry. My two enjoyed having the independents of getting up and serving themselves. Never had a problem with getting a table or having to que for food. A little more entertainment in the day and night would be lovely. But I knew what we were getting so I wasn’t disappointed. To sum it up it was a very successful holiday for the family and we really enjoyed the family time together in a lovely hotel. I found it helpful to know before arriving that I would be asked for a 50 euro refundable deposit on arrival, 12euro for the room safe and I think 12euro for the local tax.

The hotel is on the hill, very quiet, the pool is a bit dirty, can't swim, the other is not as bad as the ones mentioned in the comments, it is not so good, more than 9 euros for breakfast, it is acceptable. Going out, please book the rental at the front desk. It is not Audi or Mercedes. The price goes to the town of Zhajin about 15 euros, to the blue hole pier 70 euros, it is recommended to charter. By the way, go to Zha Jin, remember to eat lobster, 25 Euro is very cheap.

We stayed here the last 2 weeks of August 2019, staff were great and accommodating. We arrived with our son 9 and 5 year old daughter who had a broken leg lola moved our room to ground floor... the beds are a little uncomfortable but the rooms were spotlessly clean. After reading mixed reviews we were unsure what to expect of the food but we absolutely loved it so did our children! The location is perfect the pools were busy so we went to the beach every day by cool peppers sun loungers are free if you buy drinks. We hired pedalo boats and saw turtles it was amazing! We cannot wait to return this summer!
