Good hotel in common.
Good breakfast, nice responsive staff, though a little unskillful (can't print a document out so that the image takes the whole list, not just a tiny space in the corner which is impossible to see and read), sauna, great design. The only issue is windows, which lack quality. They let cold and noise, cigarette smell go through into rooms from outside.

I booked a stay here at the Eurostars Embassy Hotel for March however, was unable to travel due to Corona Virus (Covid-19), after speaking with the Front Office Manager - Ines Leitner for a few hours and going back and forth, she finally agreed to refund my hotel stay and confirmed as such through an email. However 3 weeks after her email and our phone exchange, I thought I would email her again just to follow up on the status of the refund and when it would arrive. I eventually got an email from Ines Leitner, the Front of Office Manager telling me that they will no she longer be giving me a refund, even though she originally stated that she would 3 weeks earlier via a written email. I called Ines, she picked up the phone, greeted me with a “hello” and stated her name, after I said who I was, she pretended not to hear me, and then proceeded to hang up. I called her again and left a voice mail. Moments later I checked my email and I saw a note from Ms. Leitner telling me now that she will no longer be giving me the refund that she promised 3 weeks earlier. My disappointment is because of two things: the first is that the Eurostars Embassy Hotel and Ms. Ines Leitner originally agreed to give me a full refund due to the Pandemic ,however after 3 weeks they decided to cancel my refund while not updating me that the refund had been cancelled. If I hadn't reached out again to follow up, this new information would have never been communicated to me. I found this hotel to have no compassion, and lack humanity . I WOULD NEVER book a stay at this hotel again. I especially found the Front of Office Manager Ines Leitner to be very unprofessional with her conduct. First stating I would get a refund through written communication, then revoking that refund and providing no update that the refund would be revoked. And then pretending not to hear me over the phone and hanging up on me. This is by far the most unprofessional experience I’ve had with a hotel, especially once such as the Vienna, Eurostars Embassy Hotel which is supposed to be a top hotel. Their lack of compassion is absolutely disgusting along with the way they treat their customers. Please STAY SOMEHWERE ELSE. Aside: I believe this may be a widespread practice of this hotel. I noticed a review from someone from the United Kingdom who had a similar experience in March. Beware of this hotel and Ms. Ines Lietner the Front of Office Manager.FromUS$66.00

The price in Vienna is really unfriendly, plus the euro zone, but considering the safety of self-help travel, I chose this hotel with a low price/performance ratio. The location is OK, not in the downtown area, but there is a bus stop diagonally opposite the hotel entrance. The 71 bus can be very convenient to the city. Then the airport S7 is very convenient. The hotel goes right and goes to the intersection with a Burger King. Going on to the S7 site, 20 minutes to the airport, how to see the electronic card needs to study hard, we are also turning around and hesitating, the last day to go to see what to see. It’s convenient to walk down the left hand side of the building with a small supermarket. There is a fried chicken shop on the right hand side. The breakfast is very good, the foreigners are mostly, the service staff will wear very beautiful clothes. Another point that needs to be added is that it is very close to the embassy. We are so sadly reminded that we are stolen on the train. We need to make a travel permit. We walk to the consular department for ten minutes, or there is a mobile phone shop that can buy data at the right turn. Line, next to the place where the photo was taken (although you may not use it), the front desk staff heard that I lost the documents when I checked in, and immediately comforted me. I used the electronic version of the passport to check in, they let me First, go to the restaurant next to drink coffee, then print a map to explain to me how to go to the embassy. Although I have navigation, I am really moved to see such enthusiasm.FromUS$46.00

I’ll be honest, we were dumped here by an airline after our flight was cancelled so viewed the hotel with trepidation. BUT it was marvellous, the reception staff quickly managed a bus load of upset people quickly and efficiently. The rooms are good with all facilities you might need. The breakfast was gorgeous with so many choices. Special shout out to the bar and reception staff (I wish I had noted their names) who helped us weary travelers however they possibly could. If I ever go to Vienna again (on purpose this time) this hotel will be first on the list to look at. FromUS$70.00

Spent here about 4 nights. I really like where it's placed – it's really near to the Erdberg Bus Terminal and also to the metro station. People in the hotel are very friendly and I'd like to say special thanx to the Pani Barbara from reception, who helped us A LOT. Hotel is very clean and there is nothing I'd like to complain to ) The breakfast in the hotel is pretty simple, but I didn't require anything special ) If you are looking for the hotel with the reasonable price this one is a good solution.FromUS$87.00

The apartment is situated at an easy reach location from all places. Let's not call as a hotel but a serviced apartment and one of a good kind in Vienna. The check in service was exactly according to the mentioned details which is sent via email. You do not see anybody even during check in and out except if you have a problem. This is exactly an example of doing online business. The apartment was at the first floor, very big and enough for families with children. One master bedroom, one living room, one open kitchen and 2 toilets are serving to all of your needs. The sleep comfort is excellent. The kitchen is equipped with all appliances that you would need. The only thing that is missing in the apartment is a SAFE. Other than that all were very good and suggested for all occasions and even for long stays FromUS$166.00

It is the most comfortable hotel among the hotels that I've stayed in Europe. The location is a bit remote. In my impression, the hotel seems to be in the 3rd district, but it is only several bus stops away from the downtown. The hotel is close to the Belvedere Palace. You can walk to the Belvedere Palace in the morning. It's very quiet around the hotel. The reception service is good. You can always receive an answer for any question that you ask.SOLD OUT

I recently booked four nights at Hotel Spiess & Spiess and could not have had a more enjoyable time. Entering the hotel I was greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff person who immediately set about making sure my stay began on a positive note. To that end, it must be said everyone from the front desk to housekeeping was quick with a smile and a warm greeting.. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I stayed in the main building with a view of the street and it could not have been more quiet. The breakfast had something for everyone and the staff went out of their way to ensure everything was to my satisfaction. Then there is the spa. What a nice treat at the end of long day of seeing the sights to return and head to the most perfect sauna. I wish I could have taken it home with me! The hotel is conveniently located a half block out the door to the nearest metro which was three stops from the heart of the city. I actually decided to walk my first night and it was an easy fifteen-twenty minutes away. My time in Vienna was a wonderful experience that began with choosing Spiess & Spiess as the place to stay. When I return to this beautiful city there is no doubt I have found the perfect hotel to begin my adventure.SOLD OUT

I stayed in this new Andaz property from February 29 to March 7. Though there are a few glitches, it is in general an amazing stay and worth coming back again. Room - Thanks to my Gloablist membership and the hotel, my reservation is upgraded to a deluxe suite 1001 with a city view. The suite is big and of modern design while you do feel at home. It has a large living room, a bedroom with a very comfortable King bed, and a large bathroom with closet and separate bathtub and shower. My only comment is that there is not enough lighting for the study/work desk facing the wall. Staff - they are trying their best to be attentive and accommodating my need. I am surprised about the escort from the front desk to my room, a tour of my room, and followed by completing the check-in inside my suite. I only experienced this kind of attentive service in Park Hyatt hotels and it is the first time I experience it in Andaz - wonderful. Most of the staff at the front desk are also eager to help solve any problem I have experienced inside the room. Thanks for their patience! Dining - I am granted a complimentary buffet breakfast in their restaurant Eugen21 that also contains a few cook to order dishes. I also have had my lunch and dinner in their cafe Cyclist and Eugen21, respectively, and the dishes and services are wonderful. You can refer to my review and photo for these two restaurants in their tripadvisor pages but please dont miss ordering the tasty pork roast that is excellent and a must try! Facilities - there are a sauna, and a 24/7 fitness center in the hotel. The fitness center contains many state of the art caloric and weight equipment that allows one to have an excellent workout. Paper-bottle waters are available. Location - it is not far away from the Vienna International Airport (VIE). Just about 30 minutes drive with a fee of about 40 EUR one way. It is also next to the station Hauptbahnhof. In the evaluators, it also shows real time information of the trains and their platforms. Internet - the free wifi access is of great quality and available throughout the hotel and the room. I dont experience any poor signal except in the elevator lobby of my floor but it is great. Incidents - the phone inside my room does not work and the technician needs more than one day to fix it. The housekeeping does not come to my room twice because no one told me that there is an electronic DND sign activated from the suite door. Overall - I feel it is an excellent stay and it is better than my stay in some of the hotels of other international chains in Vienna. Worth coming back!FromUS$205.00

Whilst our grandson lives outside of Vienna travelling from his place to Vienna is a nightmare so we stay here for a few days to take in some sights. This time we had a single bed above our double was handy to see as we play to bring his little English friend to another tine. Shower in room is slightly weird but as a couple doesn’t bother us but it could be a problem if just friends using room. Room is good size may be some comfy chairs would improve it but we basically use it just to sleep. We hav used several restaurants in the gasometer centre and friendly staff hav overcome slight ordering problems. We prefer the Italian. Easy to get to main sites. Shops local for snacks. Reception are lovely even printing our boarding passes. Breakfast team work very hard. And helpful. Was very busy our 1st day. Will defo stay again and Hav recommended to rest of family. Definitely better located than the air b they used this visit. See u again in the springFromUS$60.00

1. The location of the hotel is very convenient, just 5 minutes walk from the central railway station, the surrounding environment is very quiet, almost no tramp or refugees, very safe! It is very convenient to eat and shop at the station. It is very cheap to recommend a supermarket. 2. The room facilities are very new, the room photos are much better than some of the four stars in the country, and the decoration is also very elegant. Staying at this price is very cost-effective! 3. The front desk service is also very patient, and there are train schedules to facilitate everyone to hurry. There are also free fruit breads to eat. 4. The TV and air conditioning in the room are very new, the TV is extraordinarily large, and the channels are very good! The toilet and bathroom are separate and very convenient, which is rare in hotels at this price in Europe. 5. The hotel can swipe the card up and down the elevator, very safe! 6. If you go to Vienna, it is highly recommended that everyone stay at this hotel! Absolutely the most cost-effective.

The room is really great, the view is great, the breakfast is also great, the view on the top floor is invincible, I also watched a sunrise, and I drank a glass of wine at night. There is a subway station opposite, one stop to Stephen's Cathedral, but two people should take a taxi, cheap and good cars. Rating 4.5, the pre-authorization deposit has not been released for half a month.

This hotel is pretty and the room is laid out well. But there were some maintenance issues that never got fixed. First, my safe in room 729. I couldn’t get reception to answer, (irritating) so I went there. The woman at reception said that someone could come assist, but maintenance wouldn’t be in until the next morning. She said that Vienna was a very safe city and there was no need for worry because there was never any crime of any kind. Also, they had a way of knowing who would go in the room. Inwardly, I rolled my eyes. If they know who goes in the room, if something was stolen, it’s my word against that person’s that this item was even in there. Besides that, the item would still be gone. Then when my boyfriend and I were arranging for a taxi, the bellhop informed us that taxi drivers in Vienna are notorious for ripping off tourists. No crime of any kind, ehh? I couldn’t get the faucets (in either sinks) to stop up and I needed to hand wash some items and soak something. Someone came up to show me, but he said after looking they weren’t designed to close. The next morning, after we returned from breakfast, the lock that you use to bolt the door had fallen and was preventing the door from being opened all the way. We asked housekeeping to help, but she couldn’t and called for someone to come up. Thirty mins later, no one had come, so back I went to the lobby and got the bellhop to call. He said there was no request in, so housekeeping hadn’t called. About five mins later, mtc came and unscrewed the bolt, allowing us to enter. While he was there, he tried to fix the safe, but even fresh batteries didn’t fix it. No one ever came to fix it. While the hotel is beautiful, there’s nowhere nearby to eat, no shopping, etc. (except a Starbucks and one bakery). The breakfast buffet is pretty weak for 25euros. We ordered off the menu and it took about 25 mins to get items that weren’t even cooked (cheese, ham, etc). (Meaning there would be no reason for the long delay.) My espresso was cold when I got it. I really want to end this on a good note, so let me say that the staff was really nice and the room was spotless. It was also quiet.

Grand Hotel Wien is one of the nicest hotels in VIenna. It has old world charm, beautiful decor and impeccable service. Its location is excellent and within walking distance of all the major attractions ofthe city. The Opera, Museums and shopping streets are closeby. There is no dirth of restaurants and cafes around the hotel and there is a large grocery store literally adjacent. I visited in late November and was fortunate to visit the colorful Christmas markets which are just a few streets away. I was also able to go to a Mozart Recital and an Opera performance through the very efficient services of the hotel conceige. I would strongly recommend this hotel as one of the loveliest hotels in Vienna

My husband son and I stayed at this hotel when first arriving into Vienna. The hotel itself is beautiful, lovely service and room was fantastic. We had a deluxe double room which was spacious and also came with tea coffee making. We had an extra bed for our son. Room was a big size for the three of us. Bathroom was really nice too all the amenities you need. We did not get breakfast while staying here it was expensive - instead choosing to have breakfast at cafe central which is a minute walk from hotel and reasonably priced ( cheaper than the hotel buffet breakfast at hotel ). We are generally not buffet style eaters preferring cereal or toast, eggs and coffee or juice so cafe central was perfect for us and an easy one min walk in the morning (not crowded at all on opening!). We also walked to another cafe one day which was great as well for a coffee and bread roll & egg/museli etc for 1/4 price. Hotel is in a great location in Vienna, the street was all lit up for Christmas too and Xmas markets within walking distance in all directions only a few minutes walk some smaller markets. The big Christmas market at the Rathaus was about a 10 min walk (a must with kids/teens) There is a great Italian restaurant a minute walk from hotel with some great dinner options as well. Cafes and restaurants are all within walking distance. Walk to St Stephens cathedral was maybe 5-10 mins. Also walking distance Hofburg palace was 2 mins from hotel. Overall great location lovely hotel. A star off for no heated pool though otherwise amazing hotel good location and would definitely stay again when in Vienna.
