Fantastic service can't say enough when the best experiences I've ever had the rooms were exquisite
The room was clean and comfortable, the hotel breakfast was ok
The hotel is located in the Research Creative Industry Park, the transportation is very convenient, but there is nothing to go shopping within one kilometer around, but this is the case in Phoenix. The hotel facilities and sanitation are excellent and highly recommended.

I like Marriott, I’m a BonVoy member and although I’m not sure what that gets you I am sure Marriott has yet to let me down when it comes to a good nights rest. The bed is great, the room is quiet. The two biggest plus. The Rooms has multiple TVs and that was really nice as well. The kitchen was clean but not well equipped. But for the most part I really only needed the fridge and microwave. These were clean too. I liked the price point as well. So you ask why just average? The property was tired. Paint work and landscaping seemed the most in neglect. The complimentary breakfast made me feel the people that put it out didn’t plan to eat it. Remember airline meals? Kind of like that, or the way “that” used to be. I used the new Ap requesting an early check in. I never got a response but when I stopped in at the time I requested I was able to get a great room. So the good the bad the ugly: the good, very comfy beds and the guy at the front desk. His name I think was Nate or Nathan. Excellent The bad: the complimentary breakfast complimented no one. There was no meat dish and most other things seemed previously cooked even though I was there 20 minutes after they started. The ugly: The place looked somewhat run down. Everything seemed to work but could use a nice restoration. Suggestions: get a bar and some TVs. I don’t know local laws well. But it would have saved my running to Frys for beer and Liquor.
Marriott manages its brand, has lived in Los Angeles, the basic quality is the same, the room is very hygienic and very good! Breakfast American style. Don't compare with domestic Marriott, not a style. Overall satisfaction
First cheap, second cheap, third is cheap
This was the by far best hotel I’ve been to it’s really clean and staff are really polite
I enjoyed being with my partner at the hotel it was very good at hospitality
Better than expected, fairly new Free parking Air conditioning is cold enough Cost-effective
I think this is the first time I've ever placed a review of a place I've stayed at. I stayed here for a couple of months, while attending a training school. When i checked into my room, at 10 p.m., on my scheduled day of arrival, (not an early check-in), my room had not actually been "cleaned." Yes, the bed was "made" and there were clean towels in the bath, but the rest of the room had not been cleaned at all. There was prescription drug paraphernalia in one of the nightstand drawers, a lot of it, a bunch of wrappers and packaging in several of the other drawers, and a beer bottle under the bed. The chairs in the room, while very comfortable for long hours of studying, (so was the sleeper sofa), they were also "stained" on the fabric with something. I do not even want to know what it was, but I ended up using one of the bath towels on the chair as a barrier. The mini-kitchen area was also dirty, grease and crumbs everywhere. You do get a full size refrigerator/freezer, which is a plus for long stays. Microwave is tiny but served it's purpose. "Maid Service" is only once a week and they make you go out into the hall and wait while the maid cleans the room (8:a.m. on Saturday morning). You can't be inside the room at the same time as the maid, if you want to monitor them. Of course, that left me wondering what they where doing or not doing in there, that they didn't want me to see and really left me even more concerned about the overall cleanliness and security of the place... Either way, after checking into the dirty room, I would not have had someone in there to correct any of the mess it for a whole week, leaving it up to me to correct. It was filthy, there's no other way to describe it. It was the filthiest room I have ever checked into, anywhere in the United States and I travel a lot. I went out immediately to buy Clorox wipes, Lysol spray and sponges/rags, etc. to start cleaning everything, especially since I was going to be there for so long (10 weeks). It took a day and a half to completely clean everything. To be clear here, I am not a germaphobe or OCD or whatever it is. As a matter of fact, my family and friends would be shocked I resorted to cleaning any of this. That is how bad it was. Also, normally I do not complain or comment on such trivial things. After combat, these days, I figure, "if the worse thing that happens to me today is, this, I guess I am having a pretty good day..." I realize there are a lot worse things that could happen, I've embraced the suck, plenty. I just want other people who might not be as adept at it as me and who might find all of this "unbearable" to understand ahead of time what they are getting into... especially if would be more than one or two nights. The room had a STRONG smell of marijuana in it which, at first, I thought was seeping into the room from the corridor (a lot of people smoking weed around the place which, I don't really care about (live let live), I just wish it wouldn't have
No breakfast. There are kitchen equipment, refrigerator, etc.
If you read my other reviews, you'll see I'm not overly picky. I have to say the setting of the hotel is unique in that you're within the city limits but yet the way the hotel is built into the hillside has you feeling set-apart from the city. They way they utilized the terrain in the layout of the property gives it some uniqueness. The staff was friendly and accommodating. However, once we got the to room, it felt more like an inexpensive motel room than what I've experienced before at Marriott hotels. The room looked fatigued and dull. They need to find a way to brighten them up to offset the low ceilings and small size. The hallways were also lackluster. We were offered a room with a City View but I wish we would have asked for a pool view to avoid the high traffic noise... Not sure if I would stay again. It will depend on if they are having a sale at the time and what else is available.
Located in the heart of Tempe, the hotel is easy to find on the main road and has convenient transportation. There are many shops, restaurants and bars within the vicinity. The service staff is very good, with car rental service, free parking, free airport shuttle bus. The rooms are large, the decoration and facilities are very good. The price is relatively moderate and the price is super good. It is a good choice for traveling abroad.
vided very food customer service AMD game us extra time to check out AMD get our thin NHS packed up. Very good place
Breakfast is OK, the room has a sofa bed, there is a parking lot, the location is right next to the university, it is very convenient to go to school. It should be a good hotel in Tempe.
This hotel is awesome the staff there are soo sweet from the front end staff to the laundry attendants to housekeeping i love this hotel and would recommend it to any couples or families that need somewhere to stay they really help u out when u need it Connie is the bomb she is super hilarious and nice everyone is I just really don't know there names
Staff was friendly and welcoming. We had an issue with our ac while we were there. Front desk promptly sent maintenance to change the unit to a brand new one.
I stayed here in August for a little over two weeks. Checkin was a breeze. There were a number of things that made the long stay comfortable. The room was nice and clean. The kitchen was well equipped with pots, a pan, plates, glasses, cups, silverware etc. The room had a full size fridge. The bathroom was nice with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and plenty of towels. Free access to washer/dryer was nice. The laundry center had free tea/coffee and had a lot of things like snacks and daily use items (toothpaste, detergent, etc.) for purchase. Housekeeping is one day a week which is fine for a long stay hotel. You can always get used sheets and towels exchanged for fresh ones at the front desk. The staff at front desk is great. I interacted with Enrique and Kyle and found both of them to be very friendly and helpful Overall very good value for money. Highly recommended.
My wife and I stayed here in June and August 2020. With everything going on with the pandemic, this hotel has taken amazing measures to make sure that your safety as a guest is taken care of properly. Between all the signage that was up so you knew what was going on, to the prepackaged breakfast, everything was clear and clean. The general manager and his team are focused on the guest’s safety. Great job!
It's not always easy to find a room for 3 or 4 adults who aren't sharing beds. So finding this with 2Q beds AND a sofa was wonderful. Very comfortable and clean room, includes coffee, refrig, microwave. Breakfast in lobby was hot breakfast and very good, more than i expected. Staff was very friendly, ready for us at check-in which took literally less than 1 minute, quick to respond to a request for towels and a light that was not working. Location is a couple of miles off ASU campus, 10 min from PHX airport, and near I10 to get anywhere quickly. The area around AZ Mills looked a little uncomfortable at night, we witnessed a lot of police activity and plenty of people milling around on the roads. Some very good food options very nearby.
If you are looking for a squeaky clean great smelling room at a fantastic price in Scottsdale, this is it. Most of the surrounding hotels are double and triple the price. I agree with the suggestion to select an upstairs room facing the parking lot. The neighborhood may be a little sketch but you are just sleeping here. Agree the staff is great!
I was greeted by the nicest receptionist, I told her that trip.com was no help on switching my room from a double bed to a king cause that wasn’t even supposed to be , she never hesitated she just did it .. The walk from the hotel to mill ave for dinner an drinks was 7 min , so nice . At night to go on roof with the pool an view omg gorgeous... very clean an very nice ... will stay again an will recommend to others ..
The hotel is just across from Arizona State University. The room has a double bed for 3 people. The room is spacious and clean. It is very noisy to start giving us a room close to the elevator. It was very good after changing the room.
Breakfast is relatively simple, not a luxury breakfast, the content of a common American breakfast. The hotel is clean and relatively new, with a refrigerator microwave, coffee machine, and large TV. There is also a gym pool.
Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Room was pretty clean, but I cleaned anyway. There were some high touch places that I felt were overlooked by cleaning crew. (Door handles to stairways, and door handles to side exits) I slept great; bed was comfy and hotel seemed quiet. Breakfast could have had more options - they had oatmeal packets, nutrigrain bars, pre-packaged muffin, yogurt and fruit. They could have easily had a bigger variety. The pool area was nice, but small. Mostly everyone in the hotel I encountered wore a mask and I felt safe. It's a 7 min shuttle ride to the airport. I would definitely stay here again, especially if the price is very low.
The hotel room was completely bare. There weren't anywhere near enough towels for one, much less the two i booked. The toilet was dirty, the bathtub had a dirty washcloth hanging in it. The room was pretty much a king size bed and nothing else. The lamps were torn and a disaster. If there was an ice machine we couldn't find it but there was an ice bucket in the room. There was no soap in the room. I would not recommend this place. The internet password could only be used on one device but we didn't know that. There was a television but it must of been off the air television because reception was awful.
