|16.9km from city centerThe Novotel Salvador Hangar Aeroporto best features are its location near the airport, newer facilities than most properties in Salvador, and it operates under the ACCOR hotel brand. Despite these advantages, I must report a unacceptable experience during my stay December 28th to 31st 2022 followed by deplorable managerial customer service in response to verified and documented service failures. I have reported these issues to my travel agency, my corporate travel unit, and my personal travel networks. As I discovered this property using Trip Advisor, I have decided to report this matter for the benefit of my fellow readers. I do not recommend this property for business travelers nor cultural tourism travelers (especially not those seeking afro-Brazilian tourism or those welcoming to the African diaspora). I share some reasons herein: • Unreliable Service: During my stay I experienced one major internet outage over six business hours, as well as minor room outages (less than 30 minutes) on each day of my stay. This hotel was advertised as catering to business travelers, but the hotel provided no updates when internet would be restored despite repeated requests. I did not receive any support to manage the disruption to my teleworking, and personnel were unable/unwilling to facilitate solutions (At one point, I was recommended to use the free internet of one of the shopping malls. Imagine carrying expensive computer equipment to what my taxi driver warned was a “high crime” area). Sadly, the ability of the reception staff to identify solutions was more unreliable than the internet service. • Poor Room Quality: This hotel advertises rooms of high standards of quality, and I am sure many receive good rooms. However, I received a room that was both substandard quality (bathroom sidings and interior furniture water damaged, door malfunction, refrigerator malfunction) and pollutted by the buildings HVAC exhaust being poorly designed, allowing exhaust to flow against rooms on the lower floor (high noise pollution noticeable when sleeping). I believe most guests do not have this experience, as the issue likely affects few rooms on the lower floors. However, when choosing this property, one must ask the question, how does the receptionist decide who receives these rooms which experience high dust inflow and high noise pollution (I have videos and photos available upon request). Why are some customers placed in quality rooms, and others assigned to substandard rooms (noting the hotel has standard room types based on bed requirements)? Why did this hotel property assume that one of their few afro-descendent customers would accept the worst room in the property? • Deplorable Managerial Level Customer Service: Upon checkout, a customer service representative noted my dissatisfaction with my hotel experience, and asked if I would be willing to receive inquires from hotel management the next business day. I did not have confidence in their customer service bu

|7.1km from city centerThe hotel stopped in time, I was there a few years ago and I stayed in a very good room, great bed, airy, this time it was a little frustrating, the room q I left to desire, the furniture q they call guards clothes or something like, they are c old wood smell, the table, chairs and the comfort near the bed tbm are requesting for upgrade, the air conditioning still eh wall, an unsupportable noise and the smell was not very good ....
As a positive point in the large mirrors rooms and the bathroom had no problems, although the bath area is small ...... and my girlfriend was happy c the quality of the cover .....
The tbm fridgebar deserves to be exchanged, but it works ...
The pool and pool area are abandoned, I prefer and a walk on the beach, the deception pq q would stay relaxing in the hotel pool, but without conditions, vc does not feel the least willing to stay in the pool area ....
Morning breakfast eh only acceptable......

|2.23km from city centerWe hosted the hotel Sempre Ogunjá in the period from 22 to 26/01, we have some comments to make, as regards cleaning I have no much to talk very organised, but on the first day I made a complaint from the trailer that was very low and the receptionist reported that it was standard and that it was not to exchange but reported that there were two types of trawler one finer and another denseer but when I went to confer I still did not know my need. The day 25/01 request a file from the Milan that I didn't like the taste I didn't recommend, lunch. But the worst of all is that at the evening out around 15:00 I closed the room and delivered the key to the reception because the guest cannot take the key. I immediately called the receptionist and asked why my room was open, she didn't know what to say, so I'm waiting for the responsibilities to return. Since check-in I realized an uncertainty because my identification was not requested at any time, when I went to question the official he informed that it was why my husband had already a record. Summary: The hotel has no people who are entitled to manage, because the manager has never seen me to justify the incident.

|1.47km from city centerThe Fasano is truly the personification of a luxury hotel. The centrally located property is a magnificent structure to begin with. All areas are elegantly but not too formally appointed with an air of casual sophistication. The roof top pool and bar area is breathtaking by day and enchanting by night and the adjacent spa small but top notch. My room, a junior suite was large by any standard. It accommodated a beautifully appointed siting, work and sleeping areas and had an exquisite bathroom. The hard wood floor was gorgeous and the bed, linens and amenities top quality. The lighting was subdued and easily controllable. My only complaint was the water temperature at the shower was only cool. I loved the chic staff uniforms and the personnel were effervescent. I only ate breakfast in the restaurant but the buffet was scrumptious. The coffee was remarkable. I thought it a bit odd that you had request smoked salmon rather than have it placed on the buffet. Overall the Fasano fits the bill as a world class luxury Hotel that I highly recssommend.

|16.27km from city centerAll perfect. Note 9.5. If you want to be note 10 you need to have a better blackout in the rooms because the balcony is super clear when the sun is born.
We had only one problem with the lock, because the card failed to open about three times and we had to return to the gateway.
