2.45km from downtownWe didn't realise just how far this hotel was from Naples. Managed to get lift in but struggled getting back in evening as metro stopped and ended up in taxi which was very expensive. Nice room but no fridge, breakfast was very basic, parking was good. Reception girl was lovely. Naples is definitely the poor relative. Very dirt, lots of rubbish along road sides. Centre wasn't particularly nice, every where seems run down. Wouldn't recommend visiting the area.

3.26km from downtownOK, not very good, the boss has a hot breakfast for the guests.
3.42km from downtownMy opinion is that this hotel should only be considered if you want a location near the airport for a one night stay. This hotel was booked on a recommendation from our travel agent - my wife wanted to see Pompeii, and our agent thought this the best location for us. The hotel is approx 8 km from anything of interest in Naples. The location is poor, and there is very little in the vicinity that I can commend. The street is very busy, all the time, and there is little choice of anywhere decent to eat. The staff could barely speak English, and didn't really seem to care much about their guests. This was especially so at breakfast. Other reviewers of this hotel are right - breakfast is held in a bedroom off the ground floor, and policed by staff who obviously did not understand any English. Their presence really appeared to be to intimidate guests and to make sure that nobody snaffled an extra bread roll. The choice of food for breakfast was very limited, and what there was was very bland (quite possibly the blandest cornflakes I have ever had!). Our 19-year old son felt so unsafe in this location that on the first night he tried to book an immediate return flight home. This was sufficient motive, if the rest wasn't bad enough, for me to arrange a hotel in Sorrento for the remaining 6 days of our 7 day trip, and arrange a private transfer there. In all that set us back another £1,100 or so. We are still awaiting the result of my complaint letters (note - letters plural) to our travel agent for their feedback. FYI - Pompeii sits virtually equidistant from Naples and Sorrento. The remainder of our holiday was very enjoyable. Sorrento is a lovely place to visit, with lots to see and do. Quite the opposite of Naples which is basically a business city, with little to occupy a tourist's time. Lastly, this hotel was supposedly 4 star. In my opinion it is not even as good as a bog-standard 2 star. I recommend that before contemplating booking this hotel you form your own opinion on the basis of the other reviews. I accept some of the blame for accepting this hotel as part of our holiday as I was daft enough not to read any reviews until a few days before departure. That's a mistake that I won't make again. Upon reading the reviews I approached the travel agent to see about relocating us to another hotel. However that was going to cost us the price of another hotel with no likelihood of getting our money back for the Barbato. We decided to "suck it and see", but given what I have detailed we should have gone ahead with that as we ended up having to pay for another hotel anyway. Oh, and by the way, the taxis from the airport DO rip you off. The supposed 15 Euro cost was offered to us at 35 Euros before reluctantly accepting another at 25 Euros. None of the taxi drivers accepted that we knew that it was meant to cost only 15 Euros.
3.49km from downtownThe F Rooms provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Naples will find that the F Rooms is a fantastic accommodation choice. Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 6km from Napoli Mergellina and 12km from Naples Airport. The closest major public transportation, Rione Alto Metro Station, is only 500m away. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. Airport pickup can be arranged by the hotel upon request. There's never a dull moment at this hotel, our guests indicate that the facilities are excellent.
3.49km from downtownMy husband and I stayed in Relais la Villa for 8 nights. We were welcomed by Carmen and Umberto with a glass of Prosecco. The villa is a family run business. Carmen is an excellent host and cook. Umberto can speak French and did kindly shuttled us to and from metro by his car. Salvia is another member of the family. She is an excellent cleaner. The best part of our stay was the beautiful pool. It is big as there are only 4 rooms in the hotel. The shower in the room is really good. We dined mostly at the villa. Carmen loves cooking and baking.Everything was freshly prepared for us. The food was delicious and nothing was a bother. Other guest were from around the whole world and we made a great friends. We visited Pompei, which is an absolute must. We also hired a car and went to Amalie coast and Capri.
3.53km from downtownGreat restaurant, excellent service, friendly staff. The restaurant chef runs the hotel and the restaurant. The restaurant is amazing. One of the best in Naples. The bed had a foam memory mattress and pillows, so we slept like babies. Nice deco and a great variety of wines of all region. Impressive! Clean, plenty of parking. Ideal if you are driving but not if you are walking. Good size of rooms and great air conditioning. Lovely balcony, great breakfast buffet. I will recommend and will comeback every time I go to Naples

Hotels Near Tenuta Fratoni In Naples Review
Sublime accommodation and Superb Hosts in a wonderful position. Super comfortable beds and pillows. But the absolute best thing are the wonderful hosts Luigi and Claudio..so lovely, attentive and helpful in everyway. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone who visits Naples. If I could score higher than 10 I would !!!! Thanks again guys.
We arrived this Guesthouse on a Saturday in April and you should know that the main entrance is on the main street to this area of houses. Seek a small metal plate on right hand of a big wooden door. Our host was very polite and give us a lot of recommendation for our visit here. You can reach the underground at 'university' station in two minutes and from there to every destination. To the city centre you can walk in 15 minutes or wait for a train. The room was very clean and was shortly new renovated, the bed was convenient and the bathroom have the right size. Thanks to our host.
Coming up to our booking we were really looking forward to staying, I had read a couple reviews about people complaining about stairs before getting to the lift so I expected to arrive to a massive amount stairs, however that is not the case! The hotel is situated down a small road and our taxi dropped us right out front, there was only about 10-20 steps to get to the lift and that was it, the hotel was situated on the 4th floor and looked beautiful the minute you walked in! Firstly, the actual hotel was amazing, we stayed in the Cleopatra room and I couldn’t fault it! It was a big room with lots of space, a beautiful bathroom, and the most amazing jacuzzi bath which my little boy spent every night in! The beds were big and comfortable and it was cleaned every day with no problems. The thing that made our experience was the staff that worked at the hotel, especially Guisy! She went out of her way to help us when we arrived, giving us recommendations for places to eat and where to go and see, she was wonderful with our little boy and he gave her a big good bye when leaving! The chef (we didn’t catch his name) also very polite and happy to help with our luggage to and from the lift! The breakfast was continental and with fresh fruit every morning and different cereals, there was enough for us to enjoy! Although situated in a busy area, we could never hear any noise and it was a perfect ten minute walk to some of the best restaurants! Thank you for making our trip the best!
Breakfast is not included, but can be eaten at the hotel. The location is quite good, the room is clean and things can be stored. If you go again, you will stay again. highly recommended
The front desk guy that helped us check in was very helpful and friendly. He was probably the best part of the stay. We had to check in at the hotel a couple buildings down. To get into the room there are so many doors. You even need a key to exit. Since we only had one set of keys we had to leave together. The room itself was clean but just average accommodations. We knew this upon booking but didn't have many options since it's quite busy in December with everyone wanting to see the Christmas festivities. It's just a place to stay really. Location is good if you want to shop but it's on the main shopping street an noisy at all hours. You can hear everything in the halls. Around 2 am the garbage trucks outside were quite loud and woke me up. I wasn't able to go back to sleep until 5 am so I heard cars, motorcycles, people screaming outside, etc. Then around 4 am I guess shop owners were dragging their garbage cans back in? Not sure but it was non-stop noise. We even kept the bathroom fan on for white noise but it didn't help. Bed is fine though my hubs complained it was 2 twin beds put together and he was sleeping on the crack. Other than that you really have everything you need and it's clean. I feel like we paid boutique price for budget accommodations.
I loved everything except lack of living area. I was there for a few days to sight see but also to recover from an injury so I spent quite a bit of time in the room. The room was spectacular, you get a remote so you can control the individual AC unit for the room (loved that), free coffee and tea 24x7, snacks and breakfast also included. I was thrilled they give you some yogurt and milk and juice in the small refrigerator in your room, along with a daily coupon to go downstairs to the little shop next door for coffee and breakfast croissant. It’s newly renovated, gorgeous floors, your own bath which was heavenly. But there was no place to spend time, like a common living room. It has a small kitchenette and entry. One of the rooms has a balcony but my double room did not, therefore I was pretty much stuck inside my own room. The area has a few shops around, but I wasn’t comfortable (female solo traveler) walking around at night. It’s extremely close to the train station which is nice, and the train station has some shops and places to eat. As for the staff, wow they great!!! The son speaks English, and his mom (who cleans) was amazing. I arrived before the son, so she did very well in broken English, telling me where everything was. She was so sweet and offered to walk me down a few blocks to the cosmetic store, but he walked me down instead; and offered to stay and wait, but I let him return. How sweet are they??? I would definitely stay here again.
Had a wonderful stay at Culture Residency, while visiting Naples for its glories of cathedrals, Caravaggios,Banksy, street art and food. We could not manage to see everything since there is too much for just three days! The lines for Christo Velato were super long! So had to pass! Alfredo, the owner took excellent care and looked after every single need with dedication. He even gave detailed directions and helped out when we lost our way!!! He welcomed us with wonderful wine and a generous array of delicacies from Naples. The tarallis were supreme!!! There's lots of coffee, bottled water, milk and juice stocked in the room fridge for the tired traveller. The room was super clean with nice bathrooms. It had very good street views and the view from the Solarium is worth a trip to Naples. Its awesome and spiritual! One could spend the whole day there reading or relaxing in the incredible atmosphere. Although we only went there early morning and late nights as we were busy exploring the overwhelming city of Naples that has so much to offer! Culture Residence is very close to the metro so one can get around very easily. The laundry and cleaning service is impeccable. There are wonderful eateries for coffee and dinner just a few moments away. Alfredo did help us select some. Make sure you try the pizza at Pizzeria da Michele/Condurro, sfogliatelle at Cafe Gran Franco, espresso at Emma Gelataria and the gelato at Fantasie Gelato... among many other super-delicious local specialities. Thank you Alfredo for a memorable stay.
I stayed in this place for 3 nights and found it excellent. Owners are very friendly and helpful. The room is big ad the ensuite super clean. Wifi was great. The shower wasn't working properly, but I'm sure the owners will fix it. You can choose to have breakfast at the bars downstairs, one is an awesome patisserie. You can walk to the famous city centre and Tribunali street (15 mins away) or take the metro until the harbour (30-40 mins walking). Definitely recommended! ps: below the B&B there's a coffee shop with an always-on TV, if the city football team is playing there's some noise, be ready cause Neapolitans are loud people!
We spent a night at B&BArthouse Hotel, prior to our early morning flight. The staff were warm and welcoming, and were very helpful in organising our breakfast and taxi. The room was clean and comfortable, with a really beautiful bathroom! The location on the first floor of a traditional Neapolitan palazzo is great, and by walking for 5 minutes in a straight line, we found ourselves in the heart of beautiful and lively old Spaccanapoli, on the Via San Baggio Dei Librai! Highly recommended!
This is a fairly cheap B&B in the historic centre of Napoli. We were pleasantly supprised about everything here. The room we had was big and modern, the bed was comfortable (finally) and the bathroom had a great shower. The staff was helpful and made contact with us a few days before arrival, which made things very easy. It close to metro Dante, so don't waste your money on a taxi. Only negative thing we had to say, was that the cafe where breakfast is served (a few hundred meters away from the hotel) didn't have the option we selected for our breakfast, but that is of no fault of the hotel, and we would totally recommend the hotel anyway.
The location of this b&b is great, you can’t fault it. Great if you want to explore Naples by foot. My boyfriend and I stayed here for 1 night in August 2018. We parked our car in the car park opposite (24 euros for one night!! - we slowly realised this is normal price in Italy). We stayed in the queen room with balcony and our room was small and stylish but with no room for luggage as you can see in the pictures. The bed was comfy and air conditioning worked well. Great WiFi and a lovely big outside terrace area. It was extremely hard to find this property with it being on the 5th floor within a block of flats. We really struggled to find the entrance, but rang the number provided online and we were greeted within 15 minutes. The host was lovely and very informative regarding Naples, we didn’t have much time so she suggested the best areas for us to visit. Breakfast was very minimal, coffee and a few packaged croissants. Would use this property again for 1/2 nights staying in Naples. ... and do not even attempt to go to San Michele or Sorbillo for pizzas - at least a 2hour wait for both. Very unorganised queuing system, very stressful experience! All pizza in Naples is amazing wherever you get it from
Had a lovely stay at Dei Decumani, the location is fantastic and the historical center of Naples is a great area to be in. We had a lovely balcony room overlooking the street with a 30 second walk to Il Duomo, the room itself is great, very spacious and high with very comfy beds as well as a brilliant morning breakfast served by Tania who was great for any kind of information, she helped us get to the airport as well as navigating the city. The area is brilliantly stocked with local food choices and nothing is overpriced, great amounts of history and you can stroll through the backstreets for hours admiring the area. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again.
The location is in the city center, it is convenient to go anywhere, and the environment decoration is also very style. The front desk is also very good, and we changed the big bed room, which is the narrow road at the hotel.
This is a room in an apartment block on the 6th floor where other local families live near very busy, Napoli Centrale train station where Italian trains are cheap and frequent. Outside the train station is the Alibus shuttle to the airport costing 5 euros but beware the taxi drivers, some unregulated pestering you with a cheap fare.........it’s cheap because it’s too good to be true! The first Alibus leaves at 5:50am, but check the timetable on the internet first The day before your flight do check the location of the correct bus stop, which is ALIBUS and says Direzione Aeroporto, as some of these unofficial taxi drivers, will give you misleading instructions so you miss the Alibus. In the building where this B&B is located, it appears the neighbours, inconsiderately leave the inner doors of the lift open, meaning sometimes, that you cannot call the lift upwards! As a result of this lack of co operation with the neighbours, the lift was not working, first thing in the morning of my early departure. Luckily I am fairly agile, so having to “lug” my suitcase down six flights of stairs, down a steep stairwell when I checked out, was annoying but not impossible, but could have been a different story altogether, had I been disabled. First impressions, the receptionist was a very helpful girl with excellent English, who checked me in efficiently and helped me with my suitcase, so she scores full marks for being obliging and efficient. She came down to meet me at the front of the building and accompanied me to the lift to the B&B and up we went to the sixth floor. After check-in, into what was an apartment, I was apologetically informed that my bedroom, would be in another building next door as they were fully booked. The receptionist, helped me once more, with my case, as well as giving me a takeaway breakfast, before setting off for the other building So top marks for her helpfulness So off, I walked with her, and down the lift, to find my new bedroom located, in this other building across the road. The reallocated bedroom was in another apartment, which was less salubrious than the previous one. My bedroom smelling strongly of cigarette smoke, was not made up, which surprised her........as well as myself as she opened the door and quickly shut it again. To her absolute credit, she immediately apologised and again we returned to the first building and I was allocated a large recently cleaned bedroom with a modern shower and shower gel with hair-drier. I have stayed in Naples a couple of times and it seems a lot of these accommodations have mushroomed within private apartments, which I’m my opinion should be on air bnb rather than amongst hotels on a hotel booking site. The receptionist was great but again I just use Naples as an airport hub for a nights sleepover.
With a spacious room and ample, delicious breakfast, we very much enjoyed this retreat every day after scurrying about Naples absorbing the cultural attractions of the city. Hearing the choral music in one of the halls as soon as entered the casa reminded us of the ambiance of a monastery, which, in fact, it is. It was a short walk to the opera house, to the harbor boats to Capri and other islands. Also, being located on the central funicular line, it compelled and enabled us to go to top of one of the most prominent hills in Naples to explore other neighborhoods. Via Toledo is at the bottom-most station of the funiculare. Service was fine and timely. An extra bonus is that it is not just a casa but an ongoing monastery with priests that we did not have to see for any confessions. The scenery from the garden, where some people had breakfast was outstanding, being able to see Capri, Sorrento, and to be sure other parts of the city in all directions.
We had a great stay here. Carla was very helpful and welcoming, even after we arrived on a very late flight. Rooms Were very pleasant with wifi and aircon, we had the two with the en suites, although the others looked easily nice , just with detached bathrooms. Be aware that naples itself has a lot of Graffiti Everywhere, but don't worry, inside the B and B it is an oasis. We left our bags there safely as we had a late flight leaving. And everything was OK. Found some great trips online which picked us up from outside the ambassadors hotel across the main road, 2 minutes walk. Did plenty of walking around Naples too, Found the best Pizza at Cassparo opposite Cavour Metro station. All in all a lovely find and nice and quiet
On our way from Rome to Bari, we decided to make a quick stop in Naples to visit both this city but also the nearby ancient city of Pompeii. We had originally planned two nights in Naples, but decided upon arrival to change our plans and move along to Bari as quickly as possible instead. So, we started looking for hotels that were affordable and close to the central train station/bus terminal in Naples, as we concluded that we would only be staying for one night anyway, and therefore comfort wasn´t our highest priority this time. We found rooms with Hotel Orsa Maggiore through booking.com, and managed to snatch the last room available for that particular night. We had no problems finding the address when arrived to the train station in Naples, in fact the short walk could have been reduced to only a couple of minutes had it not been for our luggage slowing us down a bit. When we arrived to checkin, we were told that the room we had booked/gotten was in another building, not even half a block away. This was apparently their appartments-section of their franchise, and we were absolutely amazed by how fresh, trendy and clean these rooms/appartmens were for the price we had paid. We were also relieved by the fact that all windows were soundproofed, so although we were staying in a hotel with a view over the busiest piazza in Naples, we didn´t hear a thing. This was very important to us, especially for me, as I am av very light sleeper. Nice, surprisingly comfortable bed, modern airconditioning and fresh room with fresh bathroom. Good serviceminded staff. Only downside, was that one had to use coins to use the elevator, no big amounts, just the smallest change.
Situated in the posh Vomero section of Napoli in a classic neighborhood building with security. The hotel and surrounding areas offer commanding views of the bay, Vesuvius, and the city below. Great shopping, restaurants, a market are in close proximity. There is quick and easy access to public transportation to take you anywhere in the city and/or to the islands. The rooms are well appointed, very clean, and cool. The staff was delightful and very responsive to our every need. A full breakfast (Italian style) is served daily for the perfect start to your day. Highly recommend booking your stay here- it will not disappoint!
I liked the proximity to the major public hubs and quality restaurants. Despite being on the first (ground) floor, the apartment is way warmer than I expected. As a matter of fact, there are not the main points of my review. The place is owned by an awesome family. I even felt like I was a part of it. Really friendly people like I haven't seen in years of traveling. Not only they explained everything upon arrival, but also spent a great deal of time with us at a cafe. Let this pioneering review be the beginning of the 5-star ones.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay in this lovely B and B which is in a great location to explore the sights of Naples. It is only about a 15 minute taxi journey from the airport and is in a nice quiet area. Virginia greeted us with a very warm welcome and kept good communication with us on WhatsApp, advising us of some nice places to eat and places to visit. Our room ‘Shabby’, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The little kitchen area was great for making hot drinks and snacks if required. There is a metro station just down the road which is very useful and nearby bus stops to pick up excursions to Pompeii , Vesuvius etc. Warm croissants, cereal, fruit , and crisp breads are offered for breakfast from 8 am. We highly recommend a stay here for your visit to Naples! Thank you Virginia ! 😁
It is an Italian house that is open opposite the train station and has 5 rooms. The location is very convenient, the price is relatively high, but the downstairs are black, relatively insecure. We live next door to black people. I am not a racist, but I still care. The landlord is very enthusiastic, maybe too enthusiastic, will open your door to clean up, although we clearly told him not to do so. I don't care, my wife is more afraid. In short, there are advantages and disadvantages. The man is alone, recommend living. Couple, forget it, take care of your lover's sense of security.
From Napoli Central Train Station to a taxi was very chaotic, taxi drivers took it in turn to direct clients and taxis, lots of yelling, a lot of fun. We arrived a couple of hours earlier than check-in to Borgo Vergini Garden B&B, the address is very discreet. It is situated in a very traditional authentic Neapolitan area- everyone seemed to be hanging out in the bustling narrow streets- lucky for us, as the Pizza guy across the road in Pizzeria antico Borgo Ai vergini noticed our arrival and immediately offered to call Carlo while feeding us some excellent and reasonably priced pizza and drinks. Carlo arrived in minutes, despite our being early. Everyone seems to know everyone in this neighbourhood and they look out for each other- anywhere else, we would have been waiting in the street for 2 hours with our luggage. Carlo was so pleased to show us around the B@B. They are situated on the 1st floor of an apartment block. A large and airy breakfast/communal room has the rooms adjoining it apart from a couple of other rooms and all accessible via a large tranquil courtyard garden decked out with comfortable seating. One of our party is Coeliac (allergic to gluten) and Italy is the most advanced on the Planet for real gluten-free cooking without a trace of gluten- therefore catering well for Coeliacs. Many restaurants in Rome have 2 separate kitchens to accommodate this. We had forewarned Borgo Vergini Garden B&B about our Coeliac needs, they had assured us that this would not be a problem, but when we saw how much Carlo and Marco had gone out of their way to provide we were blown away. They had obtained fresh pastries, donuts, choc cookies and croissants (yes CROISSANTS- proper crispy ones) and they changed the selection over the 4 days we were there! The reason for this was Marco's arrangement with Leopoldos around the corner on Piazza Cavour- they had been called upon to provide this amazing best GF breakfast in the world. Not only have they advanced the art of GF cooking to be indistinguishable with gluten cooking, but the portions were big- AND- the B&B collected it fresh every morning. Coeliac heaven. The gluten breakfast buffet available was also amazing- a selection of fresh fruits, cold meats & cheeses, bread rolls, pastries, cereals, freshly squeezed juice, coffee. For Coeliacs outside Italy, it means having to cook most of what they eat, Carlo and Marco have managed to progress Coeliac catering to the next level, thanks so much guys for showing us how it's done with pure Neapolitan hospitality, easily the best in the World. The rooms were spacious and had room for 3 us, double glazed windows but also could watch the lively street activity if inclined. The Romeos, Tasmania, Australia.
I stayed here for three nights. The hotel is convenient to Napoli Centrale/Garibaldi, which offers connections to Sorrento, Pompeii, Rome and the airport among other places. The area is very dirty and you'll find some questionable people hanging around the public square at night. However, much of Naples can be this way and it was a bit of a culture shock to me. There are many cafes and stores nearby. I received a very modest rate on an OLTA. Staff was all very friendly. I had a room at the end of the upstairs hall. It had a queen bed, armoire, flat TV with remote, a small table, two night stands, adequate overhead and reading lights. There was an air conditioner and radiator heat that worked fine. Wifi was perfect. Bathroom was simple but clean with only a shower. It had tall ceilings and the windows had shutters that could be pulled to completely block the light or adjust it. I couldn't get the TV to work and bath towels were missing but I'm sure had I reported these issues, they would have been immediately resolved. Warm, fresh chocolate croissants, tea/coffee, juices and pastries were served by friendly staff, who also cleaned the rooms each morning. Staff seemed to speak limited English but I had no probably communicating with them and after all, it's Italy not Canada. I went with four circles, instead of five because the area is kind of unpleasant and will concern some people. Further, there were very minor issues with the room. However, the area seemed much safer than it looked and all-in-all, my experience was very positive. Would happily stay here again and wouldn't even bother looking elsewhere.
Satisfied, clean and tidy and comfortable
I stayed here the night before my cruise conference. The place was hard to find to begin with so perhaps a sign to say where you are would be helpful. The hotel is secure and behind a metal locked gate. The hotel is then on the 2nd floor. It does have a lift or stairs. The b and b is small and personal. The lady that greeted me was lovely and showed me to my room. As a solo traveller, I had the room on the entrance to hotel and seperate bathroom. The room was lovely and clean and above all else, the bed was clean and comfy. I didn't have the breakfast in the morning as I had to get to the cruise port which was only a short walk away. The area itself is a bit of a let down and I didn't leave the room to have a wander as I didn't know or feel comfortable with the area. I would have done had I have had a companion. I can't fault the hotel at all and would like to thank them for making my stay a welcomed one. I would definitely stay again should I ever return to naples.
We had a very nice stay in this b&b! Indeed, to start the localisation of the place is perfect: close to the beach but still close to the center.. the ferry is like 5 minutes walking so you can go very easily to the beautiful island close to Napoli. Then, the room and the bathroom were very clean, the place is very quiet during the night and the bed was very comfortable . We slept very well! Everything is organized for you need nothing during you’re stay: fridge, towels, good WiFi and more! Stefania the host is very nice, she gave us a lot of very good advice for our trip.. she’s a proper Napoli women! Go there it’s amazing! And enjoy Napoli this amazing and city!!!
We chose this room because of the amazing views of the surrounding area in a more upmarket area of Naples. We felt safe walking around the local area and found a nice place for breakfast. Federica was really helpful during all communication, by WhatsApp. We had a lift from her from the port to the property and then from the property to the airport which was really useful . Its an experience being driven around Naples in a fiat. The room was nice and airy and very clean. Fresh smelling bedlinen and towels. We thought the bed was a bit low for us as we both occasionally have bad backs. The bathroom was lovely and we had no problems with the shower nozzle being over the bath and the fact that there was no shower screen or shower curtain over the bath - we only mention it in case other people would find this an issue. There is a lift to the 5th floor where the apartment is . We enjoyed our stay there.
The rooms are sparkling clean and equipped with all comforts – the bed is especially comfy- The hotel is walking distance from the city main touristic attractions and Capri is easy to reach. Breakfast is absolutely a must have !!! the staff and the overall service was excellent! If I return to Naples my first choice will undoubtedly be Smart hotel. Thanks for your hospitality!!!
Stayed here for two nights with a friend. We both had a room each and could not fault the place and the help we had when we arrived from Luigi. The rooms were a lovely size, simply furnished and the most comfortable beds I think we have ever had on our travels (of which there have been many!). Self service breakfast and super coffee made in the coffee maker - fresh fruit, eggs, bread, cereals and breads, jams etc. It is right in the center of the Historical part of Naples and easy walking to reach all the sites. There was just one downside, not the owners fault at all - but there were some Italian people staying who used the kitchen and almost all the breakfast bread and eggs for their evening meal on our second night 😏 so there was hardly anything left for breakfast. It does say please only use food for breakfast but they are more than happy for you to buy food and take it back and eat it in the evening or for lunch. On our day of leaving we were even allowed to have the use of the B&B all day until we left at 5pm as long as we had moved our stuff out of the room and stored it under the stairs by 10am. If you are going to Naples and need a B&B definitely stay here you won’t regret it 😁
My husband and I stayed in Relais la Villa for 8 nights.
