We booked this accommodation due to a late departure and no option of a late checkout at our resort, we were not sure what to expect but were well pleased when we arrived, check in was easy and hassle free, the room was spacious and comfortable. We were apprehensive about the prospect of sharing a bathroom and showering facilities but it was fine, the place was so clean and tidy and plenty of towels available. The staff were fantastic, so helpful and friendly. the view from our room was looking out towards the sea. There was a fan in the room also which was very welcome. The nearest taxi rank is only a 4 min walk from here. Free wifi available, tea and coffee making facilities on ground floor.

We stayed for a 12-day break in Jan/Feb and really enjoyed our stay. The friendly receptionist allocated an apartment in the block at the back of the site with a South facing balcony overlooking one of the pools. The view out to sea and around to a view of the hills was breathtaking. The sun was on the balcony from mid-morning to sunset in the evening which was ideal for a winter break. All the staff including the cleaners were very pleasant. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable although the cover on the armchair was dirty/stained. I would like to mention a little issue about the happy hour at the pool bar. From 4 pm to 5 pm you can get two drinks for the price of one, but this does not include wine, which is what my wife drinks, Surely a local house wine could be included especially considering how cheap wine can be bought in the resort. Apart from these minor niggle we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend

Just returned from another stay here..We try to come at least once a year as we love Lanzarote and Apartmentos Agua Marina are a perfect base for us. Nothing fancy but all you need for a comfortable and relaxed stay. (must be THAT good as some people stay for 2 or 3 months!) The views over the harbour are lovely and it is always so tranquil …...There are steps and a hill on the short walk down to the harbour/local restaurants - not a problem for most but worth bearing in mind..... Estafania and her team are all very friendly and helpful as is Linda who runs the small poolside bar brilliantly!

LOCATION: This hotel is a moderate size (80 rooms) larger than the usual boutique hotel. It has been very tastefully designed to reflect the island volcanic rock with white walls, glass and mirrors giving it a very light and airy feel. The pool area is well spaced between bed and there are plenty to go around. The pool bar is well run and food orders are placed there for day time. The sunbeds on the higher level look out to sea with uninterrupted views. ROOMS: All rooms are well appointed -we had a lovely suite (402) that was the quieter end and looked out to sea with a good-sized garden patio that had two sun beds, two chairs and a table-. The bedroom was a good size so was the sitting area, both with plasma TVs. bathroom nice size with lots of natural light. FOOD: was plentiful and freshly cooked -and replenished as soon as needed. All restaurant staff were efficient and made us feel welcome even though they must have been worried about the risk of infection to their own families as not able to do social distancing. STAFF: were so friendly and helpful and all appeared to love their job. Erik appeared to be the man in the know and was always very much front of house, nothing was too much trouble, he has a great sense of humor, but was very professional and reassuring during a challenging time. We arrived on the Friday 13th March along with the first two cases of CV19 on the island and by the Saturday the island was on lock down re: bars etc.… sadly we had to leave to be re patriated on our 4th day. Everything was well managed and there was no hysteria, we could use the hotel grounds but stay on site unless we needed to go to the supermarket nearby. We were kept informed at regular intervals and the reception staff helped us download our amended boarding passes. Our transport did not come to take us to the airport but the hotel took us in their car … what service!! Both pool bar and evening bar were great and the bar men well informed about drinks ,hard working but very friendly. We are so thankful that we did an all-in package with airline and hotel as we were kept up to date daily by email about developments-others who booked their flight separately had little information. thankyou easyJet and thankyou to the hotel -we will definately return when things have settled down and have a full week to enjoy your beautiful Hotel.

We have been to puerto del carmen at least 10 times and have stayed in a different complex each time from 2 star to 5 star and THB Flora is our favourite by far. We stayed early march for 9 nights in suite 114, we were pool facing with a beautiful view of the sea. The suite was perfect size, bright and airy bedroom to the front with a smaller sitting room to the back, 2 tv's but we never turned them on (too busy enjoying ourselves) A small issue that could be fixed easy is that there is no shelf for shampoos etc in the shower - would be great if they could add these. Suite was cleaned 5 out of 7 days, and the cleaner did a wonderful job each time. there is music played at the pool each day and entertainment at night, both we could enjoy from our balcony, this was a big plus for us! The breakfast selection was 5 star, above and beyond what we expected!! i have stayed in 5 star places in lanzarote and this bfast selection was far superior. The staff were lovely and friendly too. Staff at reception were also v friendly, helpful & gave us vouchers for several free drinks, a nice touch. We didnt go all inclusive as we love heading out in the evening for dinner so cant comment on the food/selection. It is about 10 mins downhill to beach, there is a courtesy bus too or a taxi is about 2.50e. There is a good hill, but that doesnt bother us. Also they supply beach towels, which is great and you can rent an iron (decent one) for 7.50e. I saw a review below about a stags do, they stayed same time as us, they were a bit loud, but nothing that would bother us! We had our best holiday in PDC and would like to thank you for giving us such a wonderful place to stay. I wish ye all the best and hope to return later in the year when the world returns to normal!

These adult only apartments are perfect in a great location for everything. Everywhere is spotless whatever time of the day. We had pool view apartment which we couldn’t fault, yes a strange lay out, but had everything we needed (even a hairdryer)and we don’t go on holiday to sit in apartment. Pool area was lovely and clean, yes pool was cool but once in was lovely, it’s March I didn’t expect it to be boiling! I swam every day. Bar was lovely happy hr 3-6 every day. Snacks were also lovely. Iced coffee was the best served by a lovely couple. Shame reception staff didn’t smile or say hello that’s the only let down. Can’t understand why these apartments are only 2* should be so much higher. Will definitely return and recommend to anyone thanku.

We first went to Lanzarote in February 2017 and when I asked my partner where she wanted to go to for her 60th birthday, she enthusiastically stated Morana at PDC. On return if anything we found the hotel had got better. We stayed in apartment 404 last time, for a poolside and sea view which had the snack bar right at the bottom of our stairs. Well this time we were in apartment 406, just two up. The weather was excellent, the hotel was quiet and the poolside / sea views were fantastic. There is a small 10 space free car park, free WiFi with the apartments providing a; fridge, cooker/hob. microwave, toaster, kettle and flat screen TV. I also asked for an iron which was provided free of charge for the week. The location is ideal for the beach, town, shops and restaurants, albeit at the top of a fairly steep hill which is only 100m long. The apartments are spotlessly clean with house keeping in attendance 5 days out of 7. Our bed linen and towels were changed once during our 7 day stay. I particularly liked taking breakfast on the balcony/terrace early in the morning as it was just so peaceful. I could readily recommend these apartments which offer a friendly welcome, are quiet and extremely clean. The hill really is not that bad!

The complex is a small, adults only set pf apartments. There are a few drawbacks. The flats are a little dated, but the price is relevant. We paid £50 per night between 3 of us, which i feel is good value. The reception is not 24/7, but would not expect it to be on a complex so small. Benjamin, the caterer/barman does a excellent job of providing good food, and is always helpful. Shower sometimes runs cold, and internet was sometimes patchy, but there were always sunbeds available and the pool was a lovely temperature. If the complex was updated, then no doubt the prices would be. I would certainly return. Please be aware though. The beach is only 500m away, but the last 150m are down a very steep incline. Not for the disabled. Excellent stay.

Booked a week at these lovely apartments after our original holiday was cancelled due to pandemic. A lovely block of apartments situated in the middle of PDC , Some are bungalows on the pool side others over the road on 2 levels , walk to the front take a left towards the casino side with lots of shops bars and restaurants or take a right towards the old town / harbour . You are literally a five minute walk down to the front and the main beach . There is also a well stocked Spar 2 minutes away selling every thing needed including fresh baguettes and croissants. I emailed in advance to request an upstairs apartment with a sea view and that’s what we got (number 26) the apartments are very spacious with a separate bedroom , a kitchen with microwave kettle toaster fridge and 2 cooking rings a settee , a separate bed put up for our teenage daughter a flat screen tv with English channels , a lovely sunny balcony and free WiFi for 4 devices . There was a pack of masks and have sanitiser in the room too and also washing up liquid , tea towel and dish cloth so don’t bother packing any. The room was cleaned every other day to spotless standard . The pool area was lovely always got a bed although I’m not sure it was full due to people cancelling . There is a nice pool bar doing food , we had a lovely breakfast one morning and toasties washed down with lovely ice cold beer (Estrella) at a reasonable price. Unfortunately the main area couldn’t be opened due to the virus . Masks had to be worn in the bar and reception area only other than that you wouldn’t even know we were on holiday in a pandemic. All in all a lovely week and we would return in a heart beat .

We went w/c 10th Feb so before the madness of half term, we stayed in block b and had a ground floor apartment with two rooms, the apartment was clean and the cleaners came in every other day, dont need to pack toilet rolls. The breakfast was nice but not much on offer for children to be fair. My daughter ended up eating ham and bacon. The pool was clean and none of this beach towels guarding the sun loungers, my daughter loved the mini kids pool, the beach was lovely and rock pools to explore with easy access, we hired a bike car and that was €10 + €10 deposit for an hour which was long enought to go to the other end and get a coffee. Taxi to the next town was around €5 which is where Lidi is so probably worth going there to get some shopping, we ate out a few days and the food was lovely, pizza takeout was really good. Not a loud location, The staff in the resort were friendly enough and the cleaners were very helpful. Would definitely go back but would hire a car which was apparently cheap but didn't stay long enough to do that. Read other reviews about being out dated but for a hoilday let your not going to expect extravagant furnishings. We paid for the internet which works all over the loop of apartments. Most people speak English, even had to attend their version of a&e and they had an English speaking doctor and the medicine was very cheap.

Stayed here for a week 23rd Feb, it was our first visit to Puerto del Carmen (and won't be the last) caught with a sand storm prior to landing and was diverted to Fuerteventura for three hours, after we landed we were at the Montana in next to no time, on arrival we were greeted by a friendly receptionist and directed to our apartment, 131 as they say first impressions count, I can honestly say I could not find one single fault with our suite or the hotel in general everything was superb, bright modern room with a TV that had a few British channels, a bathroom that was spotlessly clean and modern, two comfortable beds and a spacious bedroom, a terrace to sit and watch the sun go down or just sit and chill. The nearest Spar supermarket less than a 5 min walk, close to all the amenities and beach, Puerto del Carmen a beautiful resort and very inexpensive, the locals very friendly and again spotlessly clean, an ideal location and look forward to our next visit.

What can I say. Hotel floresta you have excelled yourselves. Just home from our stay to the Hotel Floresta in Puerto Del Carmen. Felt the need to comment on the situation in comparison to the UK shambles. Hotel floresta you have excelled yourselves. The Hotel is super Covid friendly. You receive a mask and sanitiser in your welcome pack on arrival. There are automatics Sanitiser stations at every entrance point including extra stations in the restaurant. Sunbeds a plenty and all spaced out nicely. The lifeguard ensures they are spaced appropriately thoroughout the day. They are sprayed down with sanitiser when someone vacates them ready for the next use. The Restaurant is spacious with tables socially distanced and has a maximum capacity limit as does the bar area. Again tables spaced out. Evening entertainment is sufficient to keep you amused. As for the staff. They all deserve medals. They are all doing a great job in these strange and uncertain times. Masks are worn by the staff at all times and they are efficient and helpful and polite at all times. I am so pleased we didn’t cancel our holiday as at times we were worried about travelling here from the UK. Thank you so much to the hotel and each and every staff member who has enabled us to have a super holiday. Joan the kids entertainer is doing a great job at keeping the kids occupied. As key workers we were ready for a break and it has not disappointed us. If you leave the hotel you must carry a mask and wear it if you cannot social distance. Fines are issued if you are stopped by the police and cannot produce a mask. It must be worn on all public transport and in shops and restaurants. But it became the norm and after a few days we didn’t even notice wearing the masks. Lanzarote have got this virus under control and are taking it seroiously. Now we have to come home to quarantine despite feeling safer in Lanzarote, being over 1000 miles away from mainland Spain and coming home to a more unsafe country which has more cases. I feel so sad for Lanzarote and hope that businesses can survive this blow from Boris. I would happily turn straight around and come back to lanzarote tomorrow as our family all said we felt safer here than in the UK. Thank you so much

Still here while writing this review. This is a great place to stay. Has a lovely pool, can be a bit cold even in July but is fine after you take a shower first, you get used to it very quickly. Staff are all lovely, especially GRO on reception who greeted us when we arrived, she could not have been nicer to us. You get buy WiFi in your room for a small fee. can run 2 devices off it and we never had an issue. Buy a safe for a small fee as well. We were in room 201 had a side sea view. It was the last room on our corridor, we literally stepped outside down the steps and through the alley and onto the main strip. Beach is across the road. So central to everything. Gran casino is a few minutes walk. Shopping centre / lidl is a longer walk but manageable. We had a small child with us so no late nights for us! but the bar outside our balcony had live music every night so we had entertainment from the balcony which was ideal. "The Pecking Duck" & "Mr Pasta" these 2 were our favorites, beautiful food very reasonably priced. We didn't try the pool bar R/restaurant here as went out every day. Racho Texas doesn't have a date for reopening yet. The water park in Costa Teguise is opening in August. We went to Aqua Lava in Playa Blanca, great day out. Cost €60 for 2 adults 1 child which included the bus. Not too bad. Food was good, price was also reasonable. The photos you can buy there are a bit steep but you can choose as many or as few as you like. The jurassic crazy golf and other activities in the shopping centre was also an excellent day out. The 6D Galaxia cinema is very well worth it too. The dinosaur restaurant has a soft play area for kids. We didn't get to try the open air cinema so can't comment on that. The towels in the room do need to be updated and should be a brighter colour not dark blue, other than that I cannot fault the apartment at all. Would definitely return and recommend. Parrots come to visit on the balcony too which our little boy loved. Stayed here for a week in July 2020.

We arrived on 19th July after our hotel was changed last minute by our travel provider - 4 days notice!! We really weren’t sure what to expect - but we were not disappointed! First impressions was how nice and clean it was, check-in was quick, friendly and although they had to follow new covid procedures; temperature check of all guests, hand sanitizing and masks, they were very friendly and made the children in our party feel comfortable! Masks must be worn in all areas other than pool, sun loungers and dining tables, and hand sanitizers are available everywhere and must be used regularly, especially before entering dining areas and bar! Our room was sea view double with sofa beds - the view was fantastic and the room was newly decorated, very clean and comfortable! They were cleaned daily and towels would be changed on request by leaving them in the shower cubicle. The main / pool restaurants were plenty big enough and if you ever did have to queue it would never be for very long - the staff were very efficient. Also due to new procedures they were cleaning down and sanitizing all tables and chairs before the next guests would be allowed to dine! There was a reasonable selection of food that may not have been to everyone’s taste but we always found something we liked, and were always sure to tell them if we loved something! The pool area had plenty of space around and lots of sun loungers but we noticed there would often be people reserving them and not using them, but the staff were great especially ‘boss lady’ who despite our nick name was such a lovely lady, they would remove any ‘abandoned’ towels after a period of time and would regularly refer the guests to the no reservation rules! The animation team were fantastic, Jorge, Claudia & Rocio had so much energy and were so much fun!! There were loads of activities to participate in including Zumba, Thai-bo, yoga, kids club, mini-golf, health and beauty demos for aloe vera, face masks and self massage and of course a mini-disco by the pool every afternoon!! There was also professional entertainment every evening in the bar which was great - we especially loved the Trio Cubanista!! The spa facilities are beautiful and very relaxing, they have an indoor hydro circuit with various jets and waterfalls that you can use for €12 for 2 hours which includes a jacuzzi and usually the sauna but this was closed due to covid. There was also a huge variety of massages and treatments on offer! Location of the hotel was right on the beach front next to the airport, despite being so close there was no noise disturbance from the planes but you could watch them landing throughout the day! The beach out the back of the hotel was a little rocky but if you walked a little further down there was lovely golden sand! There was also a little shopping complex within 3 minutes walk where you could find supermarket, clothes/souvenir shops and a few bars/restaurants. Overall our stay was great and everyth

Visited 9th March for 2 weeks on an all inclusive basis. I contacted the hotel before arrival asking for a sunny afternoon room and got one. We found all the employees of the hotel really pleasant & friendly. Everywhere was very clean. We enjoyed the wide variety of food at all meal times & found the drinks both alcoholic & soft to be of a good standard, being AI we were also left a big bottle of water by the maid daily. Unfortunately after 6 days at the hotel the Spanish government put into force the lockdown rule-this did spoil the remainder of the holiday as we are not 'fly & flop' people, we like to be out & about walking/exploring which was not possible from Sunday 15th March - however a big 'hats off' to the Manager of the hotel who kept the sunbeds out until Tuesday morning and while they were all being stacked up if you were in a room with a big enough terrace/balcony the lads would carry sunbeds over for you to use on there. Also the pool bar stayed open its normal hours & the outside tables & chairs stayed put, just moved to a couple of metres apart-so you could still sit in comfort round the pool in the sunshine with a drink! The indoor bar opened at 6pm (when the pool bar closed) but we were not allowed to sit inside only outside or in the sofas/chairs in reception. The guests were not banished to their rooms like most other hotels were doing-they could only leave to eat & also other hotels didn't have a bar open during the day only for a short time in the evening while the restaurant was open & they also removed all reception/outside seating. So to summarise it didn't turn out to be the holiday we were looking forward to/wanted but a big Thank you to The Manager & staff for making the very best they could out of an awful situation. We will definitely revisit this lovely hotel in the future.x

Hello, My husband and myself have stayed in the Guacimeta Apartments many times and so far we have always been quite happy there. However, this year it was a little different unfortunately. Due to the Covid crisis we only booked about 3 weeks prior to our arrival early November. Since we were a bit anxious due to the pandemic situation I had sent an e-mail to reception one week before our arrival in order to check whether everything was ok and also to let themknow that we will arrive around midday and enquired about the possibility of leaving our luggage there should we not be able to get into our room yet. I have not received any response to my e-mail. A couple of days after I had sent another e-mail and one day prior to our arrival another one…I have never received any reply, which was a bit worrying for us. A quick e-mail just to confirm that things are in order would have been sufficient for us. On their website it also states that they would like to know when the estimated arrival time is. When we arrived the reception was closed. Luckily, there was a maintenance man around. We approached him and said that we are due to check-in today. He then called someone and passed the phone onto me, so I said that I’m checking in today. He only asked how many people are arriving and if we booked with a booking company. It didn’t seem that they were expecting us there at all. We were then let into our apartment. However, no further information was given. Since we were eager to check-in properly we stayed around the area until we saw someone going into the reception. Then we were finally able to do the paperworks and request a safe key etc. The apartment was nice enough even though the tap in the bathroom was very lose and a light there was hanging down. The fridge needed some time to cool as there was assumingly no one in the apartment for a while. The balcony didn’t look like it was cleaned prior to our arrival. We found out that due to Covid the apartment is only being cleaned once a week on a Friday. We do understand that during those difficult times certain compromises have to be made. However, we still paid for this service and we were ok with the fact that at least once a week our apartment will be cleaned. Unfortunately nobody came on the Friday to clean it! We have stayed there for 8 days and not once were our bed sheets changed; neither was the place cleaned. Two rolls of bathroom tissue were left on our arrival, so that we had to ask at reception (when we were lucky and the reception desk was occupied!) for more. We got new towels once, but that was it. Not once was our rubbish taken out. To be honest, we have also seen the outside area cleaner in previous years. Not to mention the pool which was absolutely freezing cold. The day before our departure we were hoping to get hold of someone at reception to advise that we would be leaving tomorrow and to ask whether it will be possible to leave our luggage on the premises since we had a

My 2 grandchildren both clelebated their birthdays during the week so a special time for us to be together. We invited the family to join us or dinner on one evening and the Restaurant Manager Miguel was very helppful We were delighted to have a beautifully laid table for the 7 or us, decorated with fresh flowers much to 10 year old Chloe's delight. There was a complimentary bottle of cava in an ice bucket whcih was a lovely gesture and then a birhtday cake. This was all very much appreciated.

I must admit that it was my fault to reserve this hotel in spite of all the bad reviews, I thought people were demanding and picky, how wrong of me..... The location of the hotel was good and there were plenty of parking lots but once you enter the hotel, you realise that this place needs a serious renovation nevertheless we could accept that since we have not payed so much. The problem started when we were in the bed, in the middle of the night, both me and my hubby woke up because of the bed mattresses, just simply we sort of fell in to the bed.... tried adjusting our position to ease our bodies but without succeeding. We couldn’t sleep anymore... one can say that you get what you pay for but even a simple hotel could offer a decent bed which you can at least sleep in. Regarding the WIFI, if you want to cut off the all digital connections, this is the place to be, you will not be able to connected easily, surely you can have the WiFi for a couple of minutes but that’s about it. There was a gentleman who was happy to help us and promised us that he will sorted out while we were gone for the day on our second day. ( very tanned, tall man who recognised the bed issues and the WiFi problem, he told us that he has ordered the new mattresses for us and contacted the company to fix the WiFi connections) He apologised a several times and told us not to worry... on the same evening when we were back to the hotel, there was someone else and apparently he is the manager.( heavy looking person) This person was extremely rude and aggressive, insulting us by saying that we were complaining for nothing and we could leave if we were not happy... I felt so sorry for the staffs who are supervised by this man..... I travel a lot but never ever seen a such horrible attitude by the manager of the hotel and we were so shocked!!! We couldn’t accept this kind of behaviour so we contacted Expedia immediately to find a solution, Emir was the our contact person and he called directly to this manager. The manager was very aggressive as he was with us and told him that he wouldn’t change anything for us....wow I must say that this guy has guts or simply he considered the tourists as the idiots who accepts anything since you booked and paid... neither of them are acceptable! We found another hotel nearby with Emir and moved out immediately in the same evening, just because we couldn’t imagine to stay any longer in this hotel and sleep in the same mattresses half waken all night. We had to pay extra for the new hotel but we didn’t mind. The people who are dealing with the tourists should be aware that we have payed money and time to be there which is a great effort and looking for a great momentum, they should never treat us as walking ATM who spends money and never talk about the problems. We are still in Lanzarote and very happy with the new hotel. It is so sad

We have stayed in the Aquasuites Hotel two years in a row now and we are hoping for a hattrick this year ( and have not lost hope as of yet!- there are plenty more days in 2020!!) if our loyalty thus far to the hotel is not testament to the superb services they provide their customers enough, here are all the amazing things which we found noteworthy from our experiences so far. RECEPTION: Check in is made so easy for customers and you are greeted with a warm and friendly face every time ( and a complimentary glass of Cava!). Everything is explained to you clearly and smoothly which makes you feel at home from the very beginning of your stay. ROOMS: The rooms are very modern and immaculate. The bed itself is very spacious and so comfortable. The bathroom ensuite is very large and the showers are so enjoyable. The balcony is also roomy with a full set of table and chairs with an umbrella as well as a number of sunloungers. FOOD: The food and the dining experiences in this hotel are fabulous. We were half board residents which entitled us to breakfast and dinner included in our stay. Breakfast has both a fresh buffet of fruit etc and also made to order egg options, such as an omlette. The dinner menu changes daily and is always very fresh and seasonal. There are plenty of options so everyone is catered for. The evening meals can be taken in one of their two affiliated restaurants located in the old town; Sassis’ or Emma’s Cantina. We loved the experience and the food in Sassis’ and ate there a couple of the nights. The wait staff are just as friendly and attentive as the staff elsewhere in the hotel. AMENITIES/LOCATION: This hotel leaves you missing absolutely nothing. There are multiple swimming pools with an adult only jacuzzi which is a nice, luxurious touch and also a child only pool, so there is something for everyone. The TV and the fridge in the room are ideal, with the fridge being stocked free of charge at the start of your stay. The wifi works quickly and we experienced no issues with connectivity. The overall location is perfect. An 8 minute walk to the main strip is the perfect distance away from the busy nature of the area if you don't want it but is also not too far if you do! The beach is also here, a nice break from the pool that is not too far away. There are a number of supermarkets within a 5 minute walk. The airport is only a 10 minute taxi drive away (which is also cheap!). To walk to the old town it takes about 30 minutes and this is where Sassis’ and Emma’s Cantina are located. We found the walk to and from pleasant, especially after eating! STAFF: We found the staff the best thing about the hotel and the overall holiday experience. From the initial check in to the dining to the general encounters with staff around the hotel, there is a clear standard of training which is amazing to see. But, most importantly, the staff are all so nice and their true nature is very clear. They all seemed willing to help and genui

Have stayed here twice before and it was great. Stayed here this time on my own for 2 nights before joining friends elsewhere. Second night had party noise issues from next door apartment from 4am until morning. Rang reception but no reply, went to reception but closed. No option but to knock offenders door, agreed to curb it but that didn’t happen. Noise continued for hours. Went to reception next morning and was told office shuts at 2am. Seems to me that if you have a crisis or any issues after 2am you are on your own. There is no emergency contact number given, just told to call police. Really.......bit over the top. What would happen if you lost the gate key, locked out all night?!? Told by guy at reception that I paid for an apartment not for security!! I paid for a nights sleep but never got that. Disappointed as raved about this place to friends and family. Feel that there should be something in place for when office shut and issues arise. Stayed at Bitacora for next 4 nights and they have someone available 24hours a day. Will have to think carefully about whether I would return here now.

We have stayed now 3 times here and this time in a different suite. Arrival was as before, relaxed, welcoming and couldn't have been better. Suite as good as before and the restaurant food is excellent. The service around the pool is second to none. While we were there the island went into lockdown on the Sunday with no one leaving hotels, apartments etc., unless going to supermarket, pharmacy, doctors. Police enforcing it with fines and possibly jail. Lani's couldn't have reacted better. Plenty of advice but made sure that our suites continued to be serviced, the area around the pool maintained safely (there is plenty of room not to be close to others) and the restaurant was brilliant. While their my wife had a special birthday and they pulled out all the stops to make it enjoyable and memorable. Each day water provided, free soft drinks and beers, coffee and many types of tea in your suite. Bedroom and lounge area air-conditioned and wide screen TV in both rooms. Lovely extras in the shower rooms. Finally, the staff. The reception, pool side, restaurant, service and maintenance are brilliant. All have a smile for you. No one ignores you. Ask and if it can be done it is. When we were leaving the hotel was shutting down with most guest gone but the cleaning and maintenance being done was extraordinary. Puts some of our hotel cleaning to shame. My only complaint, I can't give them 6 stars

This was our 3rd visit to the Aeqora and first time since Thomas Cook went out of business so the hotel no longer carries the "Sentido" branding. Beautiful hotel set out like a village with small apartment blocks. The rooms are all suites and absolutely spotless (cleaned every day) - the 2 restaurants family and adults only are next door to each other and the food is good. 4 / 5 outdoor pools including one heated. The whole place has a lovely atmosphere and the clientele are a mix of mainly European visitors with a lot of French, British and German. The staff are fantastic from the cleaners to the Management Team who are very visible throughout the day. Highly recommend.

Just home after a weeks stay at this hotel, stayed 2 years ago and decided to pay extra for superior room.room we were told is partially upgraded and could see a few changes but nothing major.leather sofa a change not great for a hot country and ended up putting blanket from bed on as it felt sticky sitting on it.told bathroom was changed but looking a 2 pics I previously had of standard room and superior there was nothing different.room 255 is like a maze to get too, upstairs then along downstairs again then back up..not ideal.no WiFi unless in communal areas and tv only one English tv allegedly but we never had it.staff very friendly and cleaners keep place clean especially around the pool but feel they let areas to our room especially down as same dust rubbish etc on day we left.hotel also say they clean sunbeds after use but after I mentioned it on there website the next day and onwards they started to get cleaned.would not stay here again as spend a lot of time in our room and with no room WiFi or tv channels to watch in this hotel it’s not for us,shame really as location ideal.

We have to Puerto Del Carmen several times and this was our first (8 day) visit to this hotel. We had a ground floor sea view room, it was very spacious and comfortable. Lots of storage space for our clothes :-) The food was consistently good, always a good selection. All of the staff were friendly, the dining room staff were 100% efficient and hard working. The reception staff were brilliant. This hotel is ideally located at the end of the main tourist area, so it was great being able to walk into the resort centre each evening. We visited during carnival week and the main carnival parade was pure magic. Heated swimming pool, outdoor jacuzzi and always lots of sunbeds available. Nice poolside bar, serving excellent coffees. I would rate this hotel 4 star plus and I would highly recommend it. The only slight negative is that the evening entertainment was mediocre, however this was not a problem as we went out each evening.

I have been staying in the nautilus for the past five years. Myself and my husband go for long duration stays. The whole team are fantastic so welcoming and make sure you are well looked after. It’s home away from home for us. Each time they go above and beyond I would rate well above 5 stars. The bungalows are spotless and cleaning staff are fantastic. The bungalow offers everything from self catering, closest spar shop is less than a five minute walk. Playa Honda is then a five minute drive to the large supermarkets. The beach is a 5 minute walk so on your doorstep, you then have the option to walk into playa Honda or Puerto del Carmen. The bus stop is within 10 mins walking and services all locations. The reception team are always on hand if you need a taxi. You are located roughly 8 minutes in a taxi. Bungalows have tv, internet and sun loungers on the terrace for relaxing evenings or for some quiet time. The facility also has a large pool which is very well maintained, and crazy golf. You will find the reception are is very tranquil with fabulous displays of art. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff in making your stay truly amazing. I can’t put into words how happy we are we found this establishment and feel like we’re part of the family. Thank you to all in the Nautilus for all you have done for us, and can’t wait to come back already. Ann & Dominic Somers

I do n’t think I will choose this next time. It was set the night before the departure. There are not many choices, mainly because I am facing the sea. I have a love for the facilities. If so, the service of reception. . . Very uncomfortable. . When we rented a car and just drove in, the doorman came to pick us up lazily and ignored him, because the doormen from other hotels had received us at the beginning. . The instant favorability was reduced; the person who checked in was next to me and smiled, said a word to us, and then went back to chatting with the doorman in Spanish. . The doorman looked at us and laughed. . Very uncomfortable smile. . . Breakfast was average, but the service from the restaurant was much better. It is recommended that you book three or four months in advance, so that you have more options.

Extremely friendly staff, especially in the restaurants. Very spacious, clean room. In my opinion, the hotel website gives a wrong picture. It is an insanely large hotel (close to mass tourism), which is extremely difficult to find due to its size. The superficial map of the hotel is of little help. The paths are very far and cumbersome depending on where the room is. You often lose your bearings. The food in the restaurants is very good but still very expensive, especially compared to the local prices. The key card was already deactivated on the morning of the check-out. At the reception you had the impression that it was a matter of course. If you like huge hotels and value good food and a modern ambience and like to spend one more taler, this is the place for you. If you like it less anonymous and with less hustle and bustle and don't want to spend too much on extra services and especially if you want to go on a beach vacation, you should look for an alternative!
