After lot of hotel screening on internet, we bottled down on Hotel Shree Panchratna for our short weekend family trip to Pune. Without a second doubt , it is best hotel which we have stayed so far in Pune . We booked a delux suite for our stay. Right from our check in at the hotel till our check out everything was so perfect and professional to the core. Key highlights of hotel - Courteous, pleasant and professional staff at reception, housekeeping and room service, clean spacious rooms with clean washrooms with excellent hygiene levels, well maintained infrastructure in the rooms, excellent spread for complimentary breakfast, good in house restaurant panchavati with an extensive well spread menu, turnaround time to service requests was very quick and thoroughly professional. We have made several short trips to Pune so far but this hotel stay was by far the best and ranks topmost on our list. Another noteworthy point of their professionalism was the fact that we misplaced our ruby studded ring and were unable to trace it. We felt that we misplaced it somewhere enroute to Pune and decide to move on. To our pleasant surprise, in the evening upon return to the hotel , we observed that the ring was safely kept in a tray in the room. Upon inquiring, we understood that house keeper, Mr Tukaram found it in the bed sheets and promptly kept in the tray . Hats off to Tukaram and hotel staff for exhibiting such high level of professionalism and integrity. We strongly recommend this hotel for your stay in Pune and we definitely visit this hotel again in future. Well done team Hotel Shree Pancharatna and keep up the good work !!FromUS$26.00

The hotel has huge rooms with two queen size beds enough to house a group of four people in the same room without having to having to request for an extra cot. The fact that it is close to the Pune station makes it very convenient for travelers who want a room for s short stay. The rooms are clean and tidy but the bathrooms could do with renovation. However that's about all there is to the hotel. The hotel has a crammed entrance on the main road and if you're traveling in your own car, you'll be made to park at another hotel a block away ( I guess they have a tie up with the other hotel). The security guard who guided us to the other hotel for parking haggled us every time we entered the hotel for a tip. It became quite a nuisance. Another disappointment with the hotel was the pricing of the food which was quite expensive considering that room are reasonably price. To sum it up, if you're looking for a budget accommodation for short stay with a group, Shivkrupa is a decent option with big rooms but don't expect anything else.FromUS$21.00

Though it is just for a few days, enjoyed the stay thoroughly. Appreciate the politeness and hospitality of the employees. Also pleased to observed that all covid-19 measures were followed. The food is also up to the standard. The rooms are well maintained, cleanliness is of the very highest quality. The hotel being located at the center of the city makes it very convenient to carry out my businesses. It is near to all the important location in the city. Another great aspect of the hotel is the view we can get from the room. A vast area of the city is visible from the city. And it give a beautiful scenic view, especially early in the morning and at night. Special thanks to Miss Hanlula for her attention to details and politeness and dealing with the guests. She was very polite and courteous, always ready to guide and help with a smile on her face. Given the opportunity, would definitely love to stay come and stay there again. Cheers! 🙂SOLD OUT

We checked into the Marriott a few days before 23rd Mar 2020. The days leading to 23rd were filled with uncertainty. The dreaded numbers around the world kept on rising and slowly, the possibility of safely going back home across the Pacific Ocean kept dwindling. We were not sure whether we were doing the right thing by staying put here. We did have a couple of other options as to where we could be during the lockdown. We were even afraid what if we were asked to leave the Marriott in the midst of the lockdown. But all our fears were put to rest quickly. During our first lockdown dinner downstairs, we asked chief chef Pushpinder whether this might happen. His words were ‘Aap ye khayal apne dimag se nikal lijiye’. (Please remove those thoughts from your head) He assured us that we would never be asked to leave, our stay would be most comfortable and as long as there was a single guest at the Marriott, they are committed to our safety and serving us! What followed completely mirrored Pushpinderji’s words. I read in the initial days that Marriott’s CEO had vowed to take zero salary till end of the year to counter the effects of the downturn. My wife and I can vouch that the dedication and commitment of each and every Marriott employee we met here was the same as that of the CEO. Pushpinderji fed us the most delicious meals every single day. My wife and I have spent the majority of the last 25 years living overseas. So you can imagine our boundless joy at being served batate wade, Punjabi kadi, hara bhara kabab, bhakri, tofu masala, rajma, phulka.. the list is endless. And yes fresh, new items for breakfast too! Each dish was delectably mouthwatering. Having had to prepare most of our meals by ourselves when living outside India, imagine this sumptuous spread delivered to you everyday! The list of the other farishtas we met here is looong. But I would like to mention a few nevertheless. Mahinderji : With the number of guests reducing, the number of employees also reduced. However, Mahinderji stayed on. Every single day, he boundlessly served us. If we asked only for cereal and fruit, he would be sure to include at least one more breakfast item, dosa, sabudana khichdi. His smile never waned and the smallest thank you made his eyes twinkle. Chef Pritamji was there before the lockdown, he treated us to his paratha magic everyday, plying us with new treats: green onion paratha, aloo paneer paratha and so on. ***ager Amitji helped us navigate everything with a smile. whenever we had a question or wanted anything, he would guide us tirelessly. Also, a big thank you to JW Pune’s housekeeping staff. Amolji, Rantimji, Yashji are among the best. They spent so much time making sure we had everything we needed, every corner of the room is clean, all supplies are well stocked. We had a wonderful evening at level 12 roof top restaurant. The ambience and arrangement were awesome. Their hospitality is great with a personal touch and all the corona precautions were followed by them to the core. We really felt very comfortable and enjoyed the ambience , food and drinks.Chef Mr Ganesh had really put a lot of effort in preparing the menu and the flavours of food served is still very fresh in my mind and still tingling my taste buds. They were burst of flavours and taste. The presentation of food served and the Ambience itself was so tempting. Mr Meraj and Mr Raza had really taken a lot of efforts to serve us and see that we are comfortable and enjoying our evening. Stayed at this hotel during Feb 2020. This was our second visit to this hotel and this hotel was at its best. The hotel was prompt in answering and responding to the queries during the reservation process and was extremely helpful. Beginning with the Airport Pickup was very prompt and on time. We had booked two rooms and we were delighted that we were informed about one of the rooms being upgraded to a Suite at the time of checkin. All the hotel staff were friendly and helpful including the staff at the restaurant, reception and house keeping. The Happy Hours experience at the Roof Top restaurant was amazing. Equally delightful was the breakfast we really loved the Keema Pav served there. All in All True Tajness!!
