There is such a courtyard in the downtown area, you can park for free, have a simple breakfast, the price is not expensive, there is a small elevator upstairs from the parking lot, it is really good, although there is no microwave and refrigerator, but there are ice cubes Accepted, it is very convenient to visit all the attractions in the city.

This south of market motel was the best I can find on short notice. It’s within walking distance to the shopping area near market street, Merton and SFMOMA. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn’t like was the cleaning lady knocked only once and proceed to open the door while I was sleeping in the room. It did make me feel a little unsafe staying there. Not the best place to stay in SF but the price and location makes it an option for people attending conferences nearby.

The location is good. There are two supermarkets in the center of Los Angeles. You can buy ingredients to cook in the kitchen. The hostel provides cups, Yantai and microwave ovens. The 6-person room is a bit crowded. There is a refrigerator in the room. There are two bathrooms on each floor. The shower water is also quite hot. The downside is that the police car sometimes makes loud noises at night, and the surrounding homeless people talk loudly, which can easily affect poor sleep. People, if they only live for a short time, it's okay.

The hotel is very close to the San Francisco City Hall. There are a lot of Chinese restaurants in a 3-minute walk and a few minutes walk. The taste is good. The room was newly renovated and smelled a little bit, but it was just fine with the air conditioner on. The front desk service is enthusiastic. There are Chinese but not Chinese. I was in town during a major conference and all the typical business hotels were either full or exorbitantly priced. SOMA Park Inn was an excellent alternative. The style is what used to be called a motor hotel, which is a multi-story version of the classic park-at-your-door motels that used to be ubiquitous. The room was very nice: comfortable bed, good linens, plenty of hot water, and clean. It had in addition to the usual coffee maker a small fridge and microwave. The WiFi worked fine. The location is reasonably convenient: right on the Mission MUNI bus route and a quick walk to the Civic Center station on Market. There’s a nice coffee shop across the street and a good Ethiopian cafe a couple doors down the street. As others have noted, the area is a little sketchy. But I never felt unsafe or concerned about security. If you want a full service hotel with a bar, restaurant, business center, room service, pool, and fancy lobby, this is not your place. If you need a comfortable room not far from the business district on a budget, this is a good choice.

This is a new SF hotel, located in the Tenderloin area (see below). The hotel is in a renovated old building with some modern features, like self check-in and motion-sensor operating electricity in the rooms. It also has machines for water and ice by the elevators. The room I stayed was the smallest I have ever lived. When the bed was fully extended to the regular position for a night's sleep it left a corridor of 16-18 in to go to the "bathroom". The bathroom consisted of a tiny enclosed shower, a small basin for hand-washing and a toilet. The storage space was also an issue. There was no cupboard; just two (open) places where you could hand a couple of shirts and a night stand with two usable drawers. (A third drawer contained the room's safe, the existence of which was a pleasant surprise.) The staff were generally quite polite. However Ive had one bad encounter. One morning I woke to find that the A/C was not working. I went down to talk to the reception, where first my claim was downplayed with arguments like: "you can adjust the thermostat" (not very helpful since a 10-yr old will do that first), or "it is a motion controlled A/C" (yes, but I moved around in the room and it didn't start). Finally, I was told that the engineer works only 9am-5pm (understandable) and I NEED TO BE IN MY ROOM sometime in this interval, so they can ask the technician to come and check it. I found this highly unusual to say the least. (As it turned out, the A/C started working again when I returned from my breakfast, so everything was ok.) Now about the Tenderloin neighborhood. This area used to be the one with the highest crime in the city. Now things seem to be better, and I believe that the volunteer group of Urban Alchemists that are out in the streets has helped. Still, it is surprising to see ALL businesses in the area having a security guard at the entrance (even bakeries!). The hotel itself has locked doors 24/7 (entering with card key) AND security located at the lobby. There are a number of homeless people around (few street down there are tents) and I've noticed some drug use. Having said that, I did NOT feel threatened at any point (and I walked quite a bit around). The hotel also is in walking distance (20 min) from Union Square and the SF MOMA, Moscone Convention Center, etc, which is great.

This is one of our favorite places in SF. The rooftop Charmaine's is the best for drinks and small bites. The attention and accommodation to their hotel guests it why we celebrate every special occasion here. We live 20 minutes away but The Proper makes us feel like we are hundreds of miles away on vacation. This is the first place I recommend for people visiting San Francisco.

It is said that there is a shuttle bus service, the actual front desk will use various reasons to say that there is no such service, which directly leads to the cost of returning to the airport by about 100 knives. Everything else is fine, location, hotel environment and breakfast.

This hotel is under new management so we couldn't see many reviews before booking but it was a great experience! the self check-in was a breeze (we received all the info in an email) and our room was nice and clean. The room is cozy but normal size for SF and if we needed a little more space we just went down to the lobby lounge area. There was wifi in the room and in the lobby area. The kitchen was super convenient to make a quick breakfast. We didn't use the washer/dryers but if we stayed longer we probably would have. We could walk to Union Square and there is also a Trader Joe's a couple blocks away. It was a perfect place to stay for a couple of nights!

Please be aware that this hotel is not in the best part of town and parking will be first come only. The rooms are smaller than what I expected but we spent little time there. Due to covid the front desk had no city maps so research before you come. It could be considered within walking distance to Fisherman's Warf but we had limited time so paid for parking in a garage for 5/hour. The hilight of our trip was the Cable cars that opened while we were there at no cost!

Fisherman's Wharf
Fisherman's Wharf is next door. It takes 5-10 minutes to watch the seals from Pier 39 and see their feet. San Francisco's famous Dangdang Departure Station is next door, and you can directly go to Dangdang City Center. In addition, Uber is expected to get it within 10-15 yuan for the ordinary car of the Golden Gate Bridge. All in all a hotel worth recommending. If you use the hotel's parking service, it is expected to cost about $ 100 per day, which is a bit painful. Expensive parking in San Francisco is obvious to all.

I have been twice to this fantastic hostel, I really love the design. The first time I booked for a 6 beds room with a private bathroom and it was really big, the room was small for 6 people, especially in covid time, it had a small kitchenette. the beds were comfortable but to close each other, I refuse to have the middle down and I change it with first on top. Nice staying. The second time I choose 4 beds with a shared bathroom and I had been alone 3 nights on 4 fortunately because the room again was so small for 4 people, there was a sink and 2 tables with chairs, not too bad! both of the rooms were clean and tidy, nice smell and black carpet as I love! look like everybody was quiet and I had a nice stay, in the second room bed number 4 a big one was a bit uncomfortable and noisy when I moved but nothing more. Nice people at the reception all the time, helpful and policies, fresh fruit every day, coffee and tea, microwave and tap water sink for everybody. The bathrooms shared outside the room was mostly clean but I found it quite dirty once, isn t the property fault if someone is unrespectful. To finish the position, at first, I noticed it was a perfect position to reach everything, but the second time I was annoyed by the stench of piss outside.

Great location! Bus or Uber travel in the city center is enough. When the water pressure in the shower was too small, and my credit card was brushed by them, seven text messages came at five o'clock in the morning on the second day of the local time, and the jet lag was even more difficult to sleep (there is no relationship between the pictures and the text).

Petite Auberge was a delightful little hotel tucked in between buildings in the Nob Hill district. Our room was small but clean and charming. The breakfast was a few doors down in their sister hotel, but the food and selection was great. The staff continuously went out of their way to assist us and make sure we were happy, especially Leon. The bed was comfy, the shower was good and their soap really lathered well too! The streets of San Fran can be a bit loud in the early morning hours (trash collection perhaps?). Overall it was a very nice place. Very close to the main entrance of China Town too.

The location in the city center is very good. It is around 11pm and there are many people. There are many food shops. Two small supermarkets are very convenient nearby. The beds are not too soft. The bathrooms are super fascinating. The building in 1913 is very classic. Small but cheap. Larger hotels nearby cost more than 1,000 nights. This one only costs half the price, so it’s fine to experience one night. I dare not use the towels in this hotel. I bring my own disposable towels when traveling in the United States. Of course, I don’t have a toothbrush. Please bring your own.

We stayed for 6 nights at the property in March 2022, in one of the two bedroom suites with a view of the Bay. The accommodation was lovely, with comfortable beds, a fireplace, stylish furnishings, and it was a very generous size. The view from our bedroom window was gorgeous, and the atmosphere of this converted factory, with exposed brick and quirky spaces is very unique. Our unit was also very well equipped with everything we needed to prepare a meal when we wanted, and it was supplied with luxurious toiletries, robes and towels. The size and layout were perfect for a family, offering plenty of space and privacy for myself my husband and our adult children. We were there to visit one of our daughters who had moved to San Fran, and a couple of nights she stayed over with us and the pull out in the living room easily allowed for 5 adults to be comfortable in the apartment ( indeed, I think with the pull out the unit would be comfortable even for 6 people). The accommodation is really a high end super comfortable full apartment, so it felt like a home away from home, but with full housekeeping services! My daughter took full advantage of the large soaker tub, and as we all needed to get a little work done while we were visiting, it was easy for each of us to find our own spot to be on a computer, or alternatively relax in front of the fireplace or TV. The public spaces of the property are also terrific, offering a couple of huge outdoor decks with fire pits that were great for sitting out on a cool evening. The deck on the second floor with a panoramic view of the Bay was especially fabulous, and we had a little wine and cheese visit with some friends out there one night that was wonderful. The property's location, attached to the shops and restaurants of Ghiradelli square and easy walking distance to the bay, and Fisherman's wharf, as well as to Russian Hill, was super convenient and made the stay relaxing as we could grab a bite whenever we wanted at one of the nearby restaurants and go for beautiful walks along the water straight from the hotel. The thing that really set the hotel apart, though, was the service. Without exception every staff person I had contact with was smiling, helpful, and super accommodating. I have travelled extensively and can't recall any place I've been where the staff were as noticeably pleasant. They really went the extra mile to be helpful. We will definite come back!!

I am appalled by the condition of this property and that Wyndham would allow its brand to be associated with a property of such a low level of habitability. Everything about the room and the property overall was substandard. The excellent location was the only benefit. Not only was the room not clean upon our arrival but numerous items in the room were broken or improperly installed. Smokers were openly permitted on-site. Plumbing was a mere trickle and the walls featured several holes and pockmarks - particularly around plumbing hookups. To add insult to injury, we found several insects in the room and an Orikin pest control strip suggesting that pests were present and have been a persistent problem at the location. Although the property advertises free breakfast we didn’t observe that such was offered (in any event, the lobby area is kept locked at all times so that one cannot access anything in that area without specifically ringing for the owner to come through). The coffee machine had a sign on it indicating that it was broken during the entire duration of our 4-day/3-night stay. The owner tried to be friendly but did not fulfill his promise to move us to a suitable room after we brought the above items to his attention on the first night of our stay. He also insisted that the room was clean when our eyes (and photos) told quite different story. The room was emphatically UNCLEAN in spite of the horrible lemony-chemical smell that overwhelmed us when we opened the room door. We had to keep the windows open for several hours and disinfect the room ourselves for the smell to abate. Layers upon layers of dust in vents and other areas showed that they had not been serviced in YEARS! All-in-all, quite possibly the worst property I have stayed at - EVER. Apparently safety is also a problem because the owner warned us strongly of several break-ins of cars at the property’s parking lot. To add insult to injury, the owner tried to refrain from providing me with a folio upon my departure. On closer inspection it appeared to contain fraudulent charges. Buyer beware. I will be reporting the conditions here to the relevant SF lodging authorities. The property should be immediately closed for habitability concerns and substandard cleanliness.
