Very local hotel with friendly staff and extra bed for children. The location has street views, it is more convenient to travel, and the accommodation is more comfortable. There is a free airport bus from 6:30 in the morning. Unfortunately, our flight was earlier and we did not enjoy it. Overall a good value for money hotel.

The breakfast in the hotel is a very simple buffet western food. The toaster is broken. I asked the Indian uncle to buy a new one, but I stayed for several days and it was still like that. The bed can be added. The hotel is located in Bur Dubai’s cloth market. , The central location is very lively, parking is a bit problematic

I’ve stayed at the York International Hotel multiple times since 2013. The main reason for this was location, followed by budget. The location, for what I want to do in Dubai, is literally second to none. You’re metres from the Sharaf DG metro station (formerly Al Fahidi), a 10-15 minute walk to the creek, there are multiple shawarma options just outside the main doors and the area is easily accessible via transport. The price of rooms was shockingly low during the height of covid, but slowly crept up for Expo/ICC World Cup. There are multiple supermarkets (including 24 hour ones) within a block walk, souvenir stores and pharmacies etc. I like to travel cheap, preferring location of hotel to luxury sheets. For this reason, I have returned to the York a few times. This was likely the last, however. I will stay in a run down and cheap hotel if it’s in a great spot, but I expect some level of cleanliness. I spotted a couple of tiny cockroaches a couple of days into my stay. It happens, people leave room service trays out and old air conditioners drip causing moisture – perfect habitats. But one night I returned to cockroaches in my bed, and in my bag. I told front counter, not wanting to cause a scene and just wanting the issue resolved as I have a bit of an irrational phobia of cockroaches (give me spiders any day). The manager told me that he could put me in another room until the fumigators came to the room, if I was ok with that, but the room wouldn’t be as nice. The rooms that I have always been put in were street-facing (south) rooms and decent sizes (and non-smoking). The room I moved to was smaller and faced out over buildings to the north. I believe it was a smoking room, but I didn’t care. Due to a history of smoking in hotels due to the affinity for tobacco in the middle east, sometimes you can smell the smoke of decades of visitors, even in non-smoking floors. That comes with the territory, and didn’t concern me. This room, however, was connected to a room with an active smoker via the air conditioning, and I had smoke piped in if I had the air con on. It wasn’t particularly hot, so I just turned it off. I checked every day, but the fumigators never turned up, so I was in that room for the rest of my stay. The shower lacked a shower curtain, which was interesting as the shower head fixture pointed almost horizontally, so showers were taken holding the shower head. This also provided wet floors, which were unavoidable, and a little embarrassing. The staff, as always, were very friendly. The cleaning staff especially, and I often had chats with them in passing. I was staying in the hotel at during Diwali by chance, as I had in 2018, and enjoyed the view of the fireworks on the streets in Bur Dubai. There were multiple rooms on my floor partying all through the night, for a couple of nights, which wasn’t great for my sleep as I was getting up early, but overall I wasn’t concerned. Many of the negative reviews

We stayed in Four Points by Sheraton Bur Dubai for six days and had an amazing stay.....from check-in to check-out everything was smooth, our check-in was done by Mr. Gajanan, he was very helpful and nice as we had requested for interconnected rooms, he gave us those. The location of the hotel is very nice very near to metro station, meena bazaar is also just a walking distance and the hotel has Indian restaurants also very near. The buffet spread of the hotel is very good and the staff also there are very nice and helpful....Mr.Dinesh and Mr.Anoop were very nice and the lady at the egg counter (Sorry don't remember her name) was also very nice. Cleanliness was also always ensured at all the hotel premises. Would definitely like to stay again in the hotel.

Booked through trip.com. It took me Approx 20mins in metro (Red line from Airport T3 to Burjuman station). Smooth check-in. Stayed for several nights over the new year. This hotel offered me best value for money. I got better that what I expected. Clean, quiet, and spacious room, good breakfast. Lovely rooftop pool with sauna and steam (Siraj pool guard is very supportive). Their staff at front desk is polite and helpful, have to mention ****ika, she was very supportive. Burjuman station - Red line Metro is a couple of minutes walk. Super market opposite hotel. If you are looking for good price and comfortable stay. I highly recommend. You can get to la mer beach - 15mis in cab. Costs around 25dirhams.

The good thing is that this hotel is relatively close to the airport. The things used by the big brands are what the brand should have. There is nothing missing, and there is a hypermarket opposite. The sound insulation was good, and I didn't feel very noisy facing the road. Poor: 1. The Internet is very poor. The room I live in basically cannot be Weiboed on the bed, but it can be used in the toilet. I squatted in the toilet for a few hours that night. . 2. The shower problem, it is difficult to adjust the shower to the proper temperature. After adjusting it, I found that the water power is very ordinary, similar to the water power at home. I do n’t know if it is the reason for the lack of water in Dubai. Towels are also average, not comfortable towels, 3. Note, this hotel does not provide chartered flights. Please pay attention to this. I did n’t see it at Ctrip. I thought it was a car drop-off. 4. The Asian woman at the front desk called chan with a very bad attitude. Basically it was Mandarin. Mandarin, does not solve the problem, but the Indian brother has a good attitude, and the service is given to him.

The hotel had only two good points! It is so near the Union Metro station and also near to the Mall and places to eat. Other than that, it was a disgusting place with rude staff who were not very approachable. I only encountered one nice person, this was on the day I was checking out as he asked me how my stay was, I told him about my horrible bed bugs and showed him the pictures. On the first night I stayed there, I had difficulty is drawing the curtain across. So had to put chairs to hold the curtains shut. The second day, I had trouble fully opening the curtains. That night I couldn't draw the curtains and the rail fell off and was hanging down, so I called reception (this was on Tuesday night). The gentleman on reception just came up to the room and stood on the 'coffee table' after taking his shoes off and then he just put the rail up and then forced the curtains shut with all his might and then walked out of the room! Did not even have the decency to speak to me once during his time in my room. The bathroom was the only 'modern' looking place in the room and the whole room looks outdated and tired and very dark and depressing. The toilet had a crack on the top of it & there was some sort of leak as there water on the floor next to the toilet. The shower had no hot water!! It was only just about lukewarm. I do not want a cold shower Quite disgusting rooms and its one of the worst I have stayed in whilst I have been in Dubai. I do not recommend ever staying here!

I stayed at this hotel apartment for 2 1/2 months. I can only say good things about it and will definitely stay there again. The rooms are cleaned regularly, towels changed, sheets changed, toiletries refilled, garbage removed, etc. Anytime there was any issue with the room the staff resolved it to my satisfaction immediately. I stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was very large and included a bedroom with TV, living room with TV, kitchen, balcony, and dining area along with two bathrooms. There is even a washer in the room and a clothes rack. The front desk staff are very helpful for anything you need and are available 24/7. There is also a security guard in the lobby 24/7. Excellent staff and excellent building. Location is also within walking distance to shopping mall, grocery stares, restaurants, medical facilities, ATMs, and bars. This is the only place I will ever stay in Dubai for my future visits.

The distance from the airport is 3 kilometers in a straight line, but the distance is about 8 kilometers. It is necessary to bypass the entire airport from the south gate of the airport. So don't be deceived by distance. This distance can reach the Dubai Gold Market. I really do n’t know if those who say they are close are not the ones? There is a disco downstairs, which opens until 3pm, and the bass penetration is too strong. Can't fall asleep. The equipment is quite old. We had 2 rooms, one of them had no hot water and the TV was broken. Quite bad. In addition, this is a community of Indians. Check out everything is waiting for the rounds.

My experience at the hotel was quite good. The location is not too far from the airport, and within a (sweaty) walking distance from the Business Bay metro station. Nearby is a nightly water show at the Dubai Canal and a strip mall. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was pretty good for the price, mainly continental. The reception was polite and expedient, and they honoured my request for a smoking room. The on-site Mexican restaurant Muchachas offers alcoholic drinks and good snacks. If I went to Dubai again, I'd stay there.

Staying at JA Palm Island Hotel with friends on the weekend is a paradise! We arrived at the hotel at 7 o'clock on Friday morning because they have a very good golf driving range. In summer, 50 balls are only 35 dirhams, which is too cheap! There are not too many people. Swing practice to breathe fresh air is great. After playing, I have breakfast at the sports cafe next to the yacht club. It’s more than 70 for one person. I was full, and then fell asleep. I just passed the spa. I was lucky this day. I usually have to book in advance. Because it was early, I had a free time and enjoyed the Thai oil pressure for more than 1 hour. The spa manager and technicians are Thai, let alone more authentic. After finishing the spa, I moved into the room. Their rooms start at 60 square meters and are all suites with balconies, facing the beach. The room is a 5-minute walk to the beach, there is no better choice than this for a holiday in the city! The natural environment of the hotel is so good, you can see the small animals at any time, and there is an organic garden in the hotel, which is also very good for children

The hotel is in the financial center, and not far from the Four Seasons and Ritz-Carlton. Because it is a newly opened hotel, the hardware is very good and the service is also very good. We booked in three times and stayed for 11 nights in total, so I thought it was good to stay here continuously. The hotel is not far from Dubai Mall, and the taxi is about AED 11 or so called uber black car 25. I personally feel a bit far to walk. The hotel’s breakfast is very good. Even after staying for eleven days, I didn’t feel tired of eating. The gym is not big, but the equipment is enough and not many people. The swimming pool is a bit small and we didn’t use it. The location is actually far away, in the north of the airport, the hotel does not care about the transfer, let yourself take a taxi. As a result, the taxi one-way 65 dirhams is more than 122 yuan. Two hundred and five round trips. The big bed room is two single beds put together, I sleep two single beds by myself? We visited Dubai as part of a big family holiday to celebrate our wedding. We spent one night here together as a couple as part of our honeymoon. We booked a club room so had access to club lounge. The room was out of this world. Beautiful and enormous with a lovely view of the city skyline. We had afternoon tea at the lounge and also made the most of the 2 hours of drinks and canapés. The food was of a very high standard and we enjoyed trying all the different flavours. I have to say a big shout out to Kyle who served us throughout. What a lovely guy-very friendly and explained each dish in detail. Thank you! We had an evening meal at Tasca which was also amazing. Breakfast was again of a very high standard. The beach area was breath taking and we loved swimming in the sea. The only reason I have not given this hotel 5 stars is because we mentioned on the booking and on the pre arrival questionnaire that it was our honeymoon. Having paid almost £1600 for one night I expected a little something extra. However, nothing was mentioned. As this was a huge treat for us and it is unlikely we will be able to stay in a hotel like this again, it was quite disappointing. I did mention this at check out and staff did apologise.

We booked this hotel for our honeymoon as we were transiting in Dubai for a few days. I informed the hotel this was for a special occasion, they did not accommodated which was fine however they failed to acknowledge this. On arrival the porter was helpful and greeted us however, the receptionist were unprofessional and unwelcoming. The hotel did not give us any information regarding hotel facilities and their services, we were handed our room keys and sent on our way. We arrived into the room, it was pretty spacious with a decent view. The bathroom taps were giving out light brown coloured water, which did clear from the second day of our stay. The first day we did not have any hot water and the shower head did not sit on the holder. It was not pleasant having to hold the shower head whilst showering. We requested an iron and ironing board which was provided however, it was removed without any notice. We felt we had no privacy as someone had been in our room to take the iron and ironing board without informing us. The car park facility was very handy and car park staff were really helpful and welcoming. Roof top pool facility was of good standard with a mixed view of the city and marina. Location was perfect, it was a 10 minutes walk to JBR walk, many local shops. Checkout was quick and easy. Overall - would not visit property again.

The hotel’s high-altitude night view is very beautiful, and the room design is relatively modern in Dubai. It seems that the hotel that is valid until September next year is only available in September this year, and the other dates are all jokes. Well, it is very convenient for us to live here. Secondly, after confirming the check-in date, Ctrip made several calls and asked me to confirm how many people will stay. Our three children are 8 years old, and they told me that children need to pay extra per night because adults over four years old will be charged 200- per night. 300 local currency, yes, don't be surprised. I double-checked it, and I hung up when I felt boring. Besides, in the hotel, everything else is fine, but before check-in, I said that the swimming pool is not available for use at 3-5 p.m. because some people can not use it. After all, it is acceptable to have one day to play. As a result, we went at other time. Chairs and huts can only be used under the sun, and the side with the shade of the tree cannot be used. This is quite boring. Why don't you write them all out and let us not spend money to find breath. My family lives on the opposite side of this hotel, just change the environment. Finally, I will answer your questions. Breakfast 7-11 is very full. In addition to what they have, you can also order what you like and let them cook. You can add 150 local currency per night for an extra bed. You can only take your children to swim here. Or go to Dubai Mall, the parking lot is not very big. One thing we dislike is that the lake-view room is very noisy, because the fountain is put out every half an hour after 6 o'clock in the evening. I really don’t understand why this event was organized. Neither side felt it was good. Although I bought it at a discount, I also spent money. It made it as if we were free...

Bur Dubai
Once again they proved their worthiness by demonstrating their highest standards of customer service and hospitality when myself and my colleague Stalin Sam checked-in to Xclusive Maples Hotel & Apartments, Mankhool Road, Bur Dubai, in the early morning of Friday 25 February 2022. Prashobh & Mohammed who were at the Front Desk received us with a broad smile and done our check-in at record time and we retired to our designated rooms in no time for relaxation after a hectic transit journey! The rooms were so clean with cozy furniture, King size bed and mattress, 2 bathrooms, TV, Fridge, Cooking range, Microwave Oven, Cutleries and what not! The amenities of Xclusive Maples are in par with any five star property. Better to term it, luxury at an affordable cost!! Service with a smile and efficiency is the slogan of their Front Office staff comprising of Supervisor Dhawal Panse, Prashobh Shankar Mohammed Saud, Lydia Fo & May Ann. No doubt, their positive approach and hospitality will let any guest to think twice before looking for any other property in Dubai for their repeated stay, whether short or long. Worth mentioning is 5th Floor Housekeeper Sukesh who did a wonderful job by keeping the room and surroundings neat and tidy, all through our stay over there. Business Bay
Booked two different type rooms, one for me and one for my brother. Very nice modern hotel with excellent staff, great customer service, very friendly, especially staff at breakfast restaurant Allan and Angelico from the Gym and staff at Valet car parking. Very nice staff, very satisfied with the service. Only downside is the swimming pool is located between 4 buildings, shady, so it can be windy and cold in the afternoon times and the building glasses are not very clean, does not look very nice when looking outside from the rooms, it might be understandable due to Dubai’s sandy surroundings, windows can get dirty easily even with regular cleaning. But overall, great staff, happy with the stay. Would recommend to clean the building windows and glasses regularly if possible, so we can enjoy the surrounding view better from rooms. Dr.Kelvin Erdem

Al Barsha
This hotel has indeed a great location. It is about 5 minutes walk through the covered parking place ( entrance D) to the Emirates Mall and about 10 minutes walk to the red line metro station. The neihgbourhood is very quiet and we felt here very safe. If you take the room 501 - 504 ( or alternatively another floor ) facing large open empty space you can even sleep with the window open. The hotel is probably not 4* hotel according to the europeian "standard" but it is very nice and convenient. 9 out of 10 ! The size of our twin bed room was more than sufficient, the same about the bathroom. The people in the reception were very helpfull, and because the actual low occupancy allowed, we could check out even at 3 p.m. !! No extras. We stayed here four nights to visit Expo so we bought the silver public traffic card ( available at every metro station ) which enabled us very comfort, fast and cheap transportation by metro. The direct journey right to the Expo area takes about 20 minutes drive. The hotel offers rich buffet breakfast. We did not miss anything. The restaurants in Dubai in general and even in the Mall are quite or even very expensive. The hotel offers very reasonble alternative for both lunch and/or dinner. Several warm courses + soup + non alc. beverages + deserts at fixed price which may vary between 40 - 60 drs p.p. We liked it very much! All in all shoud I travel to Dubai again, this hotel will be my first choice.
