Sugar Land
|7.47km from city centerThis hotel was clean, plenty of parking, safety was not an issue, and staff was very courteous. I will be returning to this hotel when I travel to Sugarland. Although this is not a complaint; the beds could use a thicker bedspread instead of a light weighed one. We can all control the temperature in our own rooms but sometimes you just want a heavier blanket. Or bring an extra one from home. Highly recommended hotel.

|1.73km from city centerWife and stayed here as we had dinner plans nearby and did not want to be out driving late. We’ve stayed here before for similar events. We had a long room and it was very comfortable. Plenty of room. Comfy bed. A/C was super cold. Breakfast was continental style but also a menu to order from. No complaints at all.

|3.61km from city centerMy husband and I had a great stay here at the Springhill in Sugarland. We came to check out the area beacuase we are moving down here from New England. After a few nights, our flight was cancelled several times because if the storm. The hotel staff was extremely pleasant and professional while dealing with us having to extend our stay. They have all worked tirelessly night and day to make sure that everything is running smoothly. Shout out to the entire crew for their friendliness and professionalism during these rough times. We are specifically thankful for Veronica (front desk girl). She was extremely helpful and friendly and was willing to help with whatever the need was. While hanging out in the lobby we witnessed how the crew dealt with isssue that arose and were highly impressed by the entire staff. They all deserve praises and raises for their hard work. Well done Spring Hill, Sugar Land staff!!! Jasmin Thompson

|3.76km from city centerWe stay at ESA motels 3-4-weeks/year, but this one was our first negative experience. While we waited to check in, a lady who had just checked in returned to get some more wash cloths. There was only one for four people. The lady at the desk told her to come back in the morning, when the day shift would help her. We weren't surprised to find that there were no wash cloths in our room. I spoke to the lady on the day shift, but her only response was, ”We're always running short of those.” A bigger surprise came from under a hand towel on the counter. A roach ran across the counter when I moved it. I knocked it into the lavatory and flushed it with hot water. A little while later, we killed a much larger roach under the desk. Think the total was 8 in 5-days. There weren’t any hangers in the closet, and no lighting, either. There was no light at the desk, and none near the recliner. That one had no bulb, so I asked 3 different staff members, but none knew where to get a replacement bulb. We were in the area to help our son move and were exhausted every evening. We ran out of bottled water, so I followed the notice on the refrigerator and went to the 1st floor for a vending machine. I was told the only machines were on the 2nd & 3rd floors on the other end of the building. The one on the 2nd floor had been modified to take credit cards, rather than cash, but it didn’t work. After several futile tries, I went to the 3rd floor and found only an empty alcove where the machine had been located at some point. At least the bed was fairly comfortable and the heater maintained a constant temperature. The shower worked pretty well, once we discovered that the handle works backwards; starting out hot and decreasing to cold. We always take queen rooms and other ESA locations (Waukesha, WI is our most frequent stop) make better use of their space, have better lighting, and cleaner rooms. They also have much appreciated grab bars adjacent to the tub. Both have staffs that are polite, but the one in Waukesha also provides much better service. This motel is a big let down and we’ll never return to it.

|2.11km from city centerLove the location of the hotel, nice walking path around man made lake. The room was clean and the staff nice. I left a sweater in the room and called day of checkout to see if they found it. I was told they have the sweater and would tag it and for me to call Nick the general manager Monday. I called him and he was not nice or kind. He told me he needed me to send a shipping label and they would mail it back. Seemed very disinterested in the whole conversation. I sent a mailing label and called and left message with him that it was on its way, I never received the sweater. Got in touch with corporate and they said Nick would get in touch with me, which he never did. Called corporate again and they said to give them time to work it our. 2 months later received an email from Nick the sweater was misplaced and they no longer have it. He offered no compensation. The sweater was very cute and expensive so I am sure someone at the hotel has a nice new sweater. Nicks handling of the situation was not consistent with Marriotts standards.

|3.29km from city centerGreat all around experience at the Drury Inn Sugar Land. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. The breakfast and the 5:30 kickback were excellent. Good food and plenty of it! Marie was in charge of the food area and prep and she kept everything clean and in order as well as fixing the great food. Will look for a Drury Inn for all future travels.

|3.93km from city centerMy husband and had a great stay. The room was very clean and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was a grab and go but I was happy to see Shipley donuts when I went to grab some coffee. The gentleman that night that checked us in was very friendly. We will definitely go back ...

|2.18km from city centerBreakfast is an ordinary American breakfast This hotel is a chain of all kinds. Parking lot is large Free parking. The surrounding environment does not say that the green grass is shaded, the river is surrounded, and the environment is quiet. Eating around is very convenient. The traffic is very convenient, very close to the high speed port. Not far from Chinatown. Stayed for the second time.

|2.83km from city centerI have stayed at this location multiple times over the past 6 months during my business travels to the area, Every time I've been here the entire staff has been nothing but polite and helpful, always able to answer my questions and meet my requests. They are on pointe for providing directions and offering up great suggestions for area locations to dine. The room is always clean and well looked after by the housekeeping staff. I've always enjoyed my stays here at this location.
