3.35km from Thai Recipe RestaurantWell I wish I could give this as high a rating as the other reviewer did. A mixed bag at best. There is no registration desk or on site presence by whoever runs the hotel. So everything is done online and keys/cards gotten via lock box. Which is fine, but the contact info (phone numbers) in case there is an issue are wrong!! The phone goes to the other Art Inn location in Lisbon and they can't help with issues at the Seattle location. A bit anxiety producing when you don't have any check in details until a couple of hours prior to showing up. Needs to be fixed!! That being said, we (2 couples travelling together) got to the hotel, parked our car on an alley behind the hotel and got our rooms My room was on the 1st floor and although it was clean and modern, the room was basically the size of the bed. We had to put the rolling "closet" with hangers out in the hallway in order to move around. It had a window that faced into a space between 2 buildings. I thought this was a negative until I talked to our friends who had a larger street facing room . On the plus side it was super quiet and dark and we had a great night's sleep. Our friends got a slightly bigger room with windows facing the street and even a window in the bathroom ! Alas no curtains on that bathroom window (??). The problem was that across the street is a restaurant/bar that was very noisy all night and even after closing several cars remained outside with their car radios blasting music hip hop music and people talking into the wee hours of the morning. Not good. The neighborhood is a little sketchy but we had no issues. The price was reasonable for Seattle. But I would say it's not for everyone. I would not stay here again.
